I placed an Order for a pair of shoes on jabong.com last month. when I got the shoes, there was a size issue. So, I contacted customer support and asked for a replacement in a different size. They picked up the original order first and sent me a replacement in a different size. But, the replacement shoes I received was full of scratches. I asked for another replacement as it was damaged. They told me that they can't send me another replacement and I have to return it for a refund. I was fine with that. Then they arranged a pick up for the shoes and their carrier partner picked up the shoes.
Once, the shoes was picked up, a few days later I called their customer support to know the status of refund. They told me that both the item has been received by them but, there is some error and that's the reason... the refund hasn't been issued. The rep told me that, to fix the error, he needs to create a return request and the refund would be initiated within 48 hours. I checked my email and see that they wanted me to provide the bank details so that they could issue the refund as Order was placed with ”cash on delivery ". There was a link given, I needed to go through that link and filled my bank details. I did that and filled all the required details. after a few days, when I called their customer support, I got to know that they didn't received by bank details; and that's the reason, the refund hasn't been initiated. I immediately provide all the details which they required over phone.
A few days later, when I didn't see the refund, I contacted them again... and now they said that I need to return the item to get the refund. I told them that I already did, then they told me that a return has been requested in their system. I explained them the situation that one of their representative may have raised it by mistake. they told me to wait 48 hours and the issue would be resolved. After that, I called them so many times, they repeated the same pathetic apology and asked me to wait 48 more hours. Then I talked to their supervisor and he told me that I need to return the Item first. I told him that I already did, he said that it's not possible and he asked me to send them the scan copy of pick up slip which I could have sent them earlier if I would have known if this is holding my refund. I immediately sent them the neat and clean images of the pick up slip for original order as wel as replacement one. they assured me that the refund would be issue within 48 hours.
now, it's been more than ten days and I call them every day... I get to hear that our concern team is working and the issue will be resolved with 48 hours. my order total is approx rs.2300.00

Complaint marked as Resolved After I submitted d complain, I again called their customer support... they again asked me to wait 48 hours. However, after that I received a call from them that they will initiate the refund within 4 business days. Before I submitted the complain on this forum, I also emailed their chief manager. I don't know if it was chief manager Or this forum... but, now I got my refund. However, I had to spent a lot of amount on phone... before that.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Your exasperation is justified. No amount of apologies can ever compensate for the amount of discomfort that you must have gone through because of this ongoing issue. I have shared this with our care team and they will contact you asap.

However, if you wanna compensate, you can definitely take care of the money I spent on phone with you guys. Your customer Service no. is not free and I have spent more than Rs. 600 on phone with you guys. Every time I call you guys, you guys put me on hole just to tell me that I had to wait 48 more hours. On each call, I spent more than half an hour. Forget about time that you guys killed.
Your Supervisor was yelling on me and I had to be calm just for one reason that, I don't wanna give you guys any reason to hang up on me Or keep my money and close the case stating "abusive customer". Worst experience ever!
