Ashish-executive who picked the call.
I had placed an order on jabong on 19 july 2016. i had ordered a nike air relentless msl 5 running shoes. the order id was [protected], i paid with a debit card, and the estimated delivery was 29 july. on 27 july, i tried to contact jabong on its contact number [protected] after seeing that the product had not even been dispatched. i tried calling 4-5 times, each call lasted 7.5 minutes and cut automatically after that. no one responded. after that i mailed them at [protected]@jabong.com, but they didn't reply to that mail too. on 30 july, i mailed them again after the delivery deadline had passed, but they didn't reply even then.
Then i tried to call them on the same day. after 5-6 attempts, one of the executives picked up the phone and registered a complaint, and said that it will be resolved within 2 working days. after that the days passed on, and i tried to call jabong again on 10 august. i tried 5-6 calls, but no avail! finally on 11 august, after calling 6 times, one of the executives (ashish) picked up the call and said the same thing about registering a complaint. he then initiated a refund, but by then they had already wasted 23 days, 165 minutes of call-time (and the number wasn't even toll-free.) frustrated from all this, i demanded to be transferred to his office-in-charge, but he tried to hold me for 30 minutes, giving all kinds of excuses, and finally he did the exact same thing which i warned him not to do in the very beginning: he cut my call.
This is the kind of service jabong offers to a 2.5 year old customer. they take payment for an order, make you wait for 23 days, make you call them and waste nearly 200 minutes of your time, and then they justify all this by refunding your money (they have initiated the refund, who knows how much more time it will take). is all this justified? is the customer's time not worth anything? can't they be held legally responsible for such unprofessional behavior?
I would suggest everyone to never order from jabong again.
