I had booked a return ticket for my wife for travel from Mumbai - Chennai on 27th April 2018 ( today ) and return from Madurai to Mumbai on 29th April 2018. The booking was done through EasemyTrip.com. Booking Id EMT42503397 and EMT42999522 respectively.
The fare paid was Rs.4217 and Rs.5170/-

On reaching the check-in counter at 1.10 pm, my wife had three to four people ahead of her for the boarding pass. When her turn came for the boarding pass, the lady at the counter Ms.Madurai told her that the gate was closed and nothing can be done. This was a shocker for my wife as she was well on time and then suddenly to be told that she cannot fly. There were quite a few other people who faced the same problem for different flights operated by Jet.
I called out the Easemytrip people as also the Jet Airways customer service contact number at Bangalore [protected] and was attended by Ms.Nidhi who was polite enough to check at her end about the issue. But after few minutes she informed me that the flight was overbooked and hence nothing could be done for my wife's travel and that I better contact the airline's desk at the airport for any chance if at all.
All this time the flight No.9W-485 was close to departing and my wife had to check with another staff for the next flight to Chennai and was informed that the current fare was about Rs.17500 and that she will have to pay the difference fare of Rs.13000 odd amount.
All this surely showed JET Airways in its ugly face fooling the people of their time and money and being simply rude and brush off kind.
This is not at all acceptable and I need a full refund of my entire booking for both ways as no way my wife could travel Madurai-Mumbai in this situation.
At this moment we have not yet canceled the return trip though I have claimed for a full refund of the onward travel where the entire fiasco folded up.
This is nothing but cheating and causing hurt to us in al forms say it mental physical and moral and would want the airlines to apologize for this and refund us the full amount.
Ironically I have traveled on Jet quite a lot of times and have so many times experienced delayed departure, poor counter service and also poor food quality but still preferred them to other airlines who would not serve even water without money.

Anyway please note the above and let me have prompt justice and my hard earned money refund at the earliest.

    Complaint with respect to flight : pnr is *wnavly* for flight *9w2967* on *thu, 13 dec* 2018, from bom to rpr.
    This complaint regarding my booking for 4 tickets from mumbai to raipur, details given above.
    Issue:
    I planned to book 4 tickets from mumbai to raipur, for 7th december 2018, but booked the tickets for 13th december 2018 by mistake. The amount equaled to 16572.
    When i asked jet airways customer care for rescheduling the date, the rescheduling charges as stated by the customer care was almost 4200 per passenger plus goibibo charges of 300. This worked out to almost 18000!!!
    When i asked the service provider to provide correct charges he insisted that he will help me with refund and rescheduling but coolly tells me the charges are more than the charges of my tickets!! This is wrongful and cheating the customer to pay double the amount! Why would a customer pay twice the amount for the same ticket?? I might as well skip my flight right?? This kind of cheating service brings serious doubt over the integrity of jet airways!! I demand cancellation and full refund of my tickets!!

      The incident took place on 27.04.2018, client no is nogcsp and ticket no.[protected], flight no.9w366 date of issue of ticket 21.04.2018 at pune airport. The passenger was denied for boarding pass and enter the flight, the representative misbehaved with the female passenger who was traveling alone. Hence the issue may be taken up with the higher authorities on top priority. Necessary action may be taken against the defaulter. Action taken may be informed to dr. D. N. Yadav, chief executive officer, pune cantonment board father of the passenger (Ms. Swarnajayanti).

        Today morning i checked-in at indira gandhi international airport at delhi to catch flight no. 9w759 (Del-chennai) and handed over my luggage, which was not locked, at counter.in my luggage i had kept rs. 11000/- in blue envelope. My booking reference is telnzr and e-ticket no. 589-[protected]. I collected my luggage at chennai airport and checked-in in my hotel. When i opened my luggage in hotel, i was stunned to see that my cash was missing from the envelope. I request you to look into the matter and check scanned data so that the persons behind this act are recognized and my cash is refunded.

          On 19th for 20th april 2018 3.05am mumbai mangalore via bangalore, flight my nephew had booked 5 tickets on jetairways online thro clear trip for mangalore to attend funeral of my mother in law. Inadvertently he put my name as jagdish (Home name) kamath iinstead of l s kamath.
          Our request to cleartrip and jet airways was not considered. We had to book a seperate ticket losing rs 7000/- though we we were travelling as a family. Further as a senior citizen (Living on pension) i was not give senior citizen discount (In fact we were two senior citizen - as there is no column of age as in railways). I am not happy with this act of the airlines and the booking agent.             I hv booked 4 pax domestic air ticket from mumbai to calicut (Clt) on[protected] through 'yatra.com' travelling on[protected]Booking ref no:[protected] payign rs.26, 466/-. On[protected] when i noticed the name or initials on the ticket is not matching with aadhar card of the passengers and i have called up 'yatra.com to get the correction made on the ticket. They informed me name change is not permitted by airline. I am advised tot cancel the ticket and rebook. Since i did not find any alternate, i have cancelled the ticket and to my shock and surprise a whopping rs.17, 906- they have deducted against cancellation although i have re booked in the same flight, time and date at an increased fare of rs.31, 842/- i have lost both ways by cancelling the ticket rs.17, 906/- and increased fare of rs. 5, 376/[protected]/- = 5, 376-)
            Subsequently i got mail from yatra.com asking to furnish certain details for further refund and i have provided it. Immediately on the same day evening another mail i have received from yat.com asking me to provide my credit card no, expiry date, mobile number etc which i got suspicion and did not provide it.

              Hello i had flight on 13.04.18 from pune to chandigarh. Jet airways forget to board my luggage from pune to chd. I reached at chd and asked to staff they assured me i will get my luggage by tomorrow morning and even i have received but in damage condition and my floaters was missing. So made complaint via email but jet airways [protected]@jetairways.com and [protected]@jetairways, [protected]@jetairways inbox showing full and finally after many try its been done.

              After that till 23.04.17 i had sent many reminders and mails but till date non of his employee contact me via mail or call about my issue.

              So i suggest to everyone do not waste your money with this # airways... Your money... Your choice.

                My son, cornelius tytgat lost his bagage at the flight from amsterdam – toronto april 10th 2018 – flight 9w234 (Jet airways). Intoronto he had a connection to vancouver april 10th – flight ws717 (Westjet).in vancouver he had a domestic flight to williams lake. I sent several emails, got some general response but still no bagage back.

                I want to claim compensation for the loss of his back pack and luggage.

                  I am a frequent traveller of jet airways and jet had been my preferred airlines always for years till date.

                  I travelled by 9w764 from coimbatore to chennai on saturday the 21 st of april 2018 which took off from coimbatore at 12/30 noon to reach chennai at around 1/30 pm

                  I am allowed 15 kgs by check in luggage and 5 kgs by cabin luggage as per the airticket.

                  The total luggage i carried weighed 40 kgs and i was charged
                  Rs 10000/- only as excess baggage deducting the allowable 15 kgs limit of check in luggage @ rs 400/- per kg for the excess 25 kgs.

                  But i told your staff at coimbatore airport that since i am not carrying any cabin luggage, i must be charged only for an excess of 20 kgs and not 25 kgs, to which your staff did not agree and started argueing with me and abused me not minding that i am a senior citizen with high bp and sugar levels. Because of my age and health conditions, i was not able to argue much and i paid the demanded amount of rs 10000/-only and boarded the flight.

                  I hereby demand the entire excess luggage amount of rs 10000/- only be refunded back to me for the unruly behavior of your staff at coimbatore airport unmindful of my senior citizen status as well my severe health conditions.

                    This is a message received over whatsapp.
                    If its true, it is sad. I am a concerned flyer who likes jet airways. Pls do the needful.
                    Jet airways denied boarding to two shooters, anjali bhagwat (World no. 1, 2002) and heena sidhu (World no. 1, 2013), on their way back home. They were treated like terrorists rather than respectable icons of this country, made to wait for 9 hours at the airport!! The girls were sleepless, tired and hungry just sitting for an answer from jet. This is the story as told by heena sidhu. Please share this with all your friends and let us shame the jet airways for denying access to two ‘indian’ women athletes on ‘foreign land’.
                    Me and anjali were coming back from korea to mumbai with a transit in bangkok. We took korean air from busan to bangkok and the next flight was jet airways from bangkok to mumbai. As it was a code-shared flight we got the boarding pass for the jet flight in busan itself after checking-in our weapons. After landing in bangkok at 1230 am we were simply informed that we can’t board the jet flight as we were carrying weapons (Which were already accepted in korea after verifying the documents). The bangkok airport does not operate at night and even the jet counter was shut. If we wanted to talk to someone from jet we had to go to baggage claim in arrivals or the check-in counters of jet. Luckily bangkok has visa on arrival facility. So we had to apply for a visa at 2am. We got out of the airport, only to realize that the counters will open only by 6 am. We had to spend 4 hours sitting outside the airport, hungry, thirsty and sleepless waiting to talk to somebody from jet. Anyway, at 6:30 we went to the jet counter to enquire. Jet security manager, shailesh gala (Indian), an ego-drenched guy, told us we should have informed them earlier. But we said that when our travel agent booked the ticket we had already marked three weapon bags being carried by us. He was quiet. Then he said show me the papers. We showed him all the documents. We were carrying dgca permit, customs clearance, letter from the federation, our sports ids, our valid licenses (By the way none of the documents are required for check in for international flights as all these documents are relevant only in india). He looked at our dgca permit which was already not required to take this flight, and said the wording of this permit is not right so you can’t go. I said can you give this in writing mentioning the relevant rule for the same? He said not at all and walked off. No attempt was made to give us an alternative flight or help us at all, which is basic airline courtesy offered throughout the world. We later booked an air india flight and came back with nobody asking for these documents.

                    I request you to kindly visit the jet airways website and see the rules of weapon carriage by sportsperson on international flights and the documents required. See for yourself if the treatment meted out to us was justified according to the rules? We did not get any refund on our tickets, or the 800 euros that we had already spent as extra baggage charges in korea and no assistance was given being respectable citizens of this country.

                    Kindly share this post with everyone on your list and let it known to the world, how jet airways treats top athletes of this country on their official visit. International shooters are treated as criminals every time they travel for competitions by jet airways. Let’s shame jet airways by sharing this with all your friends.

                      Iam pm rasheed. Iam a spices dealer from kochin. I lost my valuable goods from my baggage from delhi airport. It was ambergris, an ayurvedic medicine which is highly expensive. It weighs around 450grams, black in colour with a round shape similar to a coconut. I travelled from delhi - cok yesterday on flight number 9w-912. The pnr was tsczwk & timing was 17:15 from delhi arrived 20:25 at cochin. Please sort my issue as early as possible.

                        Pnr : uxhpyu, i have booked a ticket for my sister with kids travel date on 15thmay18 from dmm to trv and couple of week back i am getting a mail from jet stating that flight schedule has been revised to 16thmay 0020hrs

                        After seeing this msg my sister saying to me on 15thapril my and my children visas getting expired on 15thmay18 and if we travel on 16thmay as per jet new schedule saudi government will penalize us for more than 5lak bcos saudi rule is very strict on this so that i have called jet customer care and briefed all the details one person mr. Chandran was accepted my issued and ready to change the schedule one day before on same day 15thmay at free of cost since this issue is because of jet operation but unfortunately the call was disconnected before change the ticket ad again i called customer care other person has attended the call and i gave brief details and he said that this changes will be charged as we dont have option to do at free of cost. Further many calls to cs jet but nobody responding properly and speaking very rude at me and now they are asking us to pay 18000 to change my ticket as per my booked date

                          Dear Sir,
                          Our Mumbai to Indore ticket PNR No. OJCPNY and ITEUBG (9W-2395) on 13 April, 2018. We reached at 9:35 AM at Jet Counter and asked for boarding pass but front staff straight forward told us to go to KISOK machine and do yourself. We went to KISOK Machine for boarding pass but due to heavy rush we will unable to print boarding pass. At that time some Jet staff came to us and they tell us that they will get boarding pass but unfortunately they are also unable to print boarding pass on KISOK. Then they send us to same Counter for boarding pass. When we given our tickets to the counter, Counter staff (female) she told us that now boarding pass time is over and it was closed. Counter staff asked senior for help but she also unable to do that and she remarked you are late and now you go to reservation counter and book new ticket. She told me that this ticket is neither cancel nor reschedule.

                          In this connection, I request you to please view your CCTV footages that we came to counter at proper time i.e. before close the counter. Due to your staff waste our time to go here and there, we miss our flight.

                          We therefore request you to please look into the matter and do needful and give justice.

                            We were traveling by 9w362 from delhi to mumbai on 16/04/2018, where we were served dinner. The quality of the food was very bad. They served boiled green chickpeas, potato cutlet and a pastry.

                            The chickpeas were stale and smelly. One of the co passengers felt uncomfortable and a medical assistance was required on the air plane. Other food articles were soggy and absolutely not eatable.

                            This is typical of Jet Airways. I had to discard in-flight food provided by Jet Airways several times due to poor quality. There is absolutely no regard for customers' sentiments. Recently, I had traveled from Mangalore to Mumbai. If spite of selecting veg food at the time of ticket booking, I was not provided veg food, giving lame excuses. I have lodged a complaint with Jet Airways several days back which is yet to be resolved. I am not even getting responses from their customer service team in timely manner. This is definitely not a professional managed company. I would stay away from Jet Airways as far as possible.

                              I sincerely appreciate your patience while we reviewed the situation you described.

                              I am sorry to note your disappointment due to lack of information about change in schedule of flight 9w 823 of january 21, 2018.

                              Mrs varrin, i can truly understand the impact that this disruption may have had on your travel itinerary. It is vital for our business and guests that we adhere to published schedules as well as operate our flights on time.in fact, flight cancellations/rescheduling not only directly impact our revenue but also have a cascading effect on flight operations on all routes that a particular aircraft is scheduled to operate on. Thus, the decision to reschedule a flight is taken after due consideration and after evaluating various alternatives.

                              On this occasion, flight 9w 823 was cancelled and combined to depart with flight 9w 893 departing at 09:25hrs due to operational reasons. This schedule change took place on january 11, 2018.

                              In keeping with the guidelines, since the booking was initiated by the travel agent, it is the issuing agent’s responsibility to communicate the same to the guests and also advise us of guest consent so that ticket was be revalidated with the revised flight details.

                              In keeping with our process, we too inform guests with regard to such schedule change which is closer to the departure date. From our enquiries, we understand that sms was sent to guests informing about the change in flight schedule. Please find below the message content for your reference:

                              Dear guest, due to operational reasons your flight 9w 823 21jan18 will now operate as 9w 893 21jan18 and will leave udr at 0925hrs and reach del at 1040hrs. Regret the inconvenience. For assistance please call the local jet airways office or our india contact centre on [protected]/[protected]. Pnrno - cnxttl

                              Allow me to assure you that as an airline we do endeavour to maintain the schedule of our flights, however at times due to operational/technical reasons we are compelled to reschedule/combine/cancel our flights.in such situation we ensure that guests are re-protected on alternate flights to complete their travel or are given full refund for their tickets if the reschedule time is more than two hour.

                              We regret that your travel agent did not inform you about the change and you did not read the earlier message send to you. May i request you to contact the agent for further clarification and compensation.

                              Please be assured that while we would continue to put in all the required efforts to operate our flights on time, despite the fact that flight operations depends upon many external and safety related factors owing to which, flight schedules are subject to change.

                              I hereby request the refund of an additional ticket which i have to purchase.

                              Indeed, i booked and bought a plane ticket for a scheduled flight on saturday 21 january 2018 at 12 hours55. I showed up at the airport on the scheduled day at 10:30 am and the jet airways counter officer informed me that flight number 9w-823 had taken off at 9:30 am.

                              Not being notified of schedule changes, while you had my phone number on the reservation, i had to buy another ticket on the company indigo for a flight at 19:20.

                              Having suffered damage, i ask you for the refund of this additional ticket for an amount of 5 443 rupees.

                              Being a french resident, i had to travel to delhi to take an international flight to france.

                              I sincerely appreciate your patience while we reviewed the situation you described.

                              I am sorry to note your disappointment due to lack of information about change in schedule of flight 9W 823 of January 21, 2018.

                              Mrs Varrin, I can truly understand the impact that this disruption may have had on your travel itinerary. It is vital for our business and guests that we adhere to published schedules as well as operate our flights on time. In fact, flight cancellations/rescheduling not only directly impact our revenue but also have a cascading effect on flight operations on all routes that a particular aircraft is scheduled to operate on. Thus, the decision to reschedule a flight is taken after due consideration and after evaluating various alternatives.

                              On this occasion, flight 9W 823 was cancelled and combined to depart with flight 9W 893 departing at 09:25hrs due to operational reasons. This schedule change took place on January 11, 2018.

                              In keeping with the guidelines, since the booking was initiated by the travel agent, it is the issuing agent’s responsibility to communicate the same to the guests and also advise us of guest consent so that ticket was be revalidated with the revised flight details.

                              In keeping with our process, we too inform guests with regard to such schedule change which is closer to the departure date. From our enquiries, we understand that SMS was sent to guests informing about the change in flight schedule. Please find below the message content for your reference:

                              Dear Guest, due to operational reasons your flight 9W 823 21Jan18 will now operate as 9W 893 21Jan18 and will leave UDR at 0925hrs and reach DEL at 1040hrs. Regret the inconvenience. For assistance please call the local Jet Airways office or our India Contact Centre on [protected]/[protected]. PNRNo - CNXTTL

                              Allow me to assure you that as an airline we do endeavour to maintain the schedule of our flights, however at times due to operational/technical reasons we are compelled to reschedule/combine/cancel our flights. In such situation we ensure that guests are re-protected on alternate flights to complete their travel or are given full refund for their tickets if the reschedule time is more than two hour.

                              We regret that your travel agent did not inform you about the change and you did not read the earlier message send to you .May I request you to contact the agent for further clarification and compensation.

                              Please be assured that while we would continue to put in all the required efforts to operate our flights on time, despite the fact that flight operations depends upon many external and safety related factors owing to which, flight schedules are subject to change.

                                We have missed flight towards manchester today because of jet flight got delayed and connection flight already gone. We are all here in paris almost 6 hours and jet airways office have not yet provided anything even water for kids. We total 4 passengers including 2 children.

                                I made a booking yesterday from a site for jet airways and when I entered my credit card number
                                I was charged double. However, I have only one ticket and one reference number.
                                Please look to this matter soon and refund the rest of my money. I have sent you the pictures of both.

                                  This is to inform you that today morning i was suppose to travel from kolkata through the flight no -9w 618 with schedule departure at 5.45 am. While travelling to catch the flight from kolkata airport i had meet with an accident in my car and had not been able to catch the flight. Even though i had called up to the customer care of jet airline kolkata to reschedule my flight 9w 618 to any other afternoon flight. I was ready to pay the difference amount for the reschedule flight. First they denied to do so, then they gave me an option which was costly than the fresh booking

                                  So had to make a fresh booking

                                  I am frequent flyer and a jet privilege silver member and had been travelling with jet since a decade, in case of emergency i expected a basic support from jet airlines to help me out with accommodating me in any other flight.

                                    Hi,
                                    I had a flight at 11:05am and due to traffic reasons, i reached and checked in at 10:45am in the airport.
                                    The lady providing tickets just saw that i was 5 minutes late for the flight and she didn't helped me to reschedule the flight or get me another seat in some other flight.
                                    They just wasted my time telling me, i am late for the flight and told me to go to the ticket counter outside the airport.

                                    Finally when i reached at the ticket counter the lady there told me she can't do anything and the tickets available are just of the thrice amount that i had paid for the flight going to be missed and my money got wasted.

                                    But then i checked online and i found a flight on the same day as well as on the other day. The cost was less than the amount i had paid earlier.
                                    It's really sad how the flight companies just don't get the natural cause (Traffic) and i had to face the inconvenience caused.

                                    Unfortunately the services for help aren't even upto satisfaction.
                                    After this experience, i would never want to travel with jet airways unless urgent.

                                      I have booked domestic flight tickets for 4 pax online through yatra.com from mumbai to kozhikode on 22/04-2018 in the flight 9w2421 paying rs.26, 466/- i have noticed slight variation of name from the aadhar card and in the ticket as follows.

                                      2. Susheela sasidharan susheela (Sr. Cityzen)
                                      3. Divya das divya. S
                                      4. Master anushka das anushka (4 years old)

                                      As soon as i have noticed the mistake, on 12th april i have talked to yatra.com & they said they will not be able to change the names. Airline is not permitting to do so.
                                      I was forced to cancel the ticket and a whopping rs. 17, 906 they have deducted. & passed on refund on only rs. 8560/-
                                      Although there is a concession available for senior citizen, they did not parted that benefit.
                                      After cancelling and while re booking the ticket, its cost has gone up to 32, 918/- as against rs.26, 466/- of my first booking incurring another rs.6452/- extra.
                                      Overall i have lost an amount of rs.24, 358/- simply a refusel of small corrrection of the name as indicated above.

                                      I ahve to cancell my booking loosing heavly & rebook it at an higher rate.
                                      Over all i have lost rs.

                                        I, amrita gupta (Pnr - rmqgui) with ticket number[protected]/1/1, had my flight scheduled from del-pat at 16:05 dated april 11, 2018 from igi airport terminal 3. I arrived in the queue section for boarding pass collection at around 15:00 hrs. After going through bevy of passengers, when i arrived at the counter, i was not provided boarding pass by the representative. Even after conversing for so long, she was adamant for not helping with the boarding procedures. Moreover, she (The representative) was not even listening to me and guiding me the further procedures.
