On my flight from new delhi to guwahati a couple of days ago, the ground staff at new delhi airport lost my checked-in luggage. On requesting them to look into the matter, all that the ground staff had to share was that they cannot even find my luggage in new delhi airport and didn't have any knowledge on it's whereabouts at all.

I have written to the higher authority and hoping for them to take over the matter and share with me better news soon.

I will write here with next development should there be. Hoping for better and continuing terms with jet airways, even during such disappointing times.

    1. Company had launched "shop at flipkart 'cooling days sale" for all jet privilege members. As part of the sale, company had advertised 10% instant discount on all credit/debit cards and net banking on flipkart during the sale period.

    2. I clicked on the offer and purchased a vu tv costing rs.46, 999 from flipkart on 5th may'2018. Though i made the payment by credit card, i did not get the promised 10% discount amounting to rs.4, 699.

    3. I immediately called up flipkart and they said they will check and revert.

    4. I also wrote a mail to jet privilege member services saying that i made a purchase of rs.46, 999 on flipkart "cooling days sale" and did not receive the 10% instant discount of rs.4, 699 against card payment with a request to check and revert.

    5. On 6th may, jet privilege replied saying that "may we request you to contact the flipkart as they are in the better position to assist you."

    6. On 8th may, we wrote a mail to the grievance officer at flipkart with a copy to jet privilege member services forwarding the mail chain and seeking intervention and prompt resolution on grounds of ethics.

    7. When there was no response, we again wrote a mail on 12th may'2018 to the grievance officer at flipkart and nodal officer at jet airways stating that "we are yet to receive our discount as advertised. Please note, this is a clear case of misleading and mis selling which is an unfair practice. If not resolved, we will be compelled to resolve this matter to the relevant authorities for justice. We also pasted the screenshot of the 10% instant discount advertised in the offer.

    8. On 15th may'2018, flipkart called and responded by mail as follows:
    "as discussed, the offer 'flipkart cooling days' (Between 3-may-18 to 6-may-18) was applicable only for air conditioners and refrigerators categories and televisions were not included under the offer. Hence, the offer was not applied on your purchase."

    9. Jet privilege is completely silent on the offer and flipkart is trying to escape by giving wrong reasons when no such conditions were there in the offer.

    10. Strict action must be taken against both the companies and our discount of rs.4, 699 should be recovered and paid to us expeditiously.

      Sir i am rishi from jhansi. I uploaded my resume for the job on shine.com and call came to me that my resume has been selected and is transferred to jet airways i get a called from airways manager who work inn delhi and said that my resume is ok for the company job profile and then my written exam was done and telephonic interview was done by then then by mail they send me letter of intent and training letter and said that i will be getting the courier in which the hard copy of all the letter of intent and training letter with the gate pass for the bhopal interview which was said to be the final interview and the courier was expected to come by 15th may but it didnot come and also they take 33000/- as a security/training fee from me and when i am calling to them on their no provided to them they are not picking up and now they have closed their no. So i please request you to take some action againt them and help me in getting my money back or help me in getting my job from them please help me sir below is the mail chat and the letters send by the hr of jet airways.

        I was travelling from international flights where i had a connection to goa from mumbai where i was charged for excess baggage. When i asked the ground staff dimple she was just asking me to contact where you booked the flights where as a seaman we are allowed 2 pieces of 20 each. She was upset cause i was asking questions as i would have missed the flight i had to move on.
        Not a flight to recommend where we seaman have to inform the company

          Booked my flight first time with jet, but worst experience with it. First of all they messed up my trip from london to calgary as they put wrong name on my boarding pass and then they refuse to put me on flight. Then they sent me via vancouver after waste my 8 hours the worst part of it i missed my important ceremony in calgary. And after that they sent my two bags in toronto and i havent recieved it yet. Worst experience with any international airline. If anybody from airline gets this complaint then contact me at my email address [protected]@gmail.com will rate the experience 1/10

            My father, father in law and mother in law on 02 may 2018 all three were travelling amritsar to lusaka.

            On 02 may 2018 flight 9w 0906 (Amritsar to delhi) is delayed which they boared from amritsar because of long delayed they missed the connecting flight from delhi to addis ababa and addis ababa to lusaka (Ethopian airline) (03 may 2018 at 2.30 a. M).

            When they reached delhi jet airways ground staff they were rude to my family members and not ready to assistance them.

            When my family members requested them again and again, then they only helped them to booked their ticket next day on 04 may 2018 delhi to addis ababa and addis ababa to lusaka (Ethopian airline) and after this they didn't help them for wheel chairs even their wheel chairs were booked upto lusaka.

            The jet airways ground staff even not realising someone on wheel chair and old aged person we should assist polietly and taking care them as they are customers.

            Jet airways staff not bothered their customer who are old aged person and having pateint, where they will go by that hour.


            Jet airways ground staff refuse to assist them for accomodation, food and any compensation etc.

            When they reached lusaka there one main luggage bag was missing which was booked by jet airways from amritsar.

            For your futher information... Our missing bag carrying valuable items (Like clothes, medicines etc).

            The medicine is for cancer patient mr. Onkar singh who was travelling together with his wife mrs. Balwinder kaur, she is also heart patient.

            They both carried their medicines in hand baggage and some in main luggage.

            Now their medicine is about to finish and this medicine is not available in lusaka also.

            Mr. Onkar singh (Passenger) is forth stage cancer patient, anything happen to his health jet airways will be responsible for this.

              On May 07, 2018, we took flight number 9W0445 from Goa to Mumbai.
              It was a direct flight, but during the course of the trip, our checked in luggage was damaged beyond repair.

              Details of the incident is given below

              After arriving Goa airport, I have met the baggage security and informed them that we have 12 bottles of scotch in one bag.The baggage person told me to distribute 6 bottles in each bag,
              which I did.
              After the security seal was done, we have arrived to check in counter where I met Ms.Crystal (she was very rude to me and my college - please check the CCTV footage).
              I told her that both the bags contains 12 Scotch bottles (I also told her she has to be careful with the luggage as I need to give these bottles to my friend in Hong Kong).
              She told me that the baggage is overweight by 15 kgs and I need to pay for 10 kilos (as I hold Silver membership).
              I went back to the security, dumped beer cans (5 kilos) and gave the baggage to Ms.Crystal.
              This time, she told me that I have to pay for 10 kilos, I have reminded her about my Silver membership. She said "Ooh I forgot, yes you only need to pay for 5 Kg"
              Later, she made an invoice for excess baggage of 5 kgs (Rs 2000, invoice copy is attached)
              I went to the ticketing counter, paid the invoice and gave reciept to Ms.Crystal.
              I repeat, she was very arrogant and impolite during above transaction

              After reaching Mumbai, my horrors had begun.
              She has not attached fragile sticker on any of our two luggages,

              Baggage 1 (Satya Jatla):
              1.Two bottles in one of my bag was broken,
              2.All my garments are drenched and stained with alchol
              3.My laptop charger was damaged
              4.There are small pieces of glass in my bag, my thumb was cut nd was bleeding while removing the articles
              5.My bag is in no condition to go to any kind of travel (its stinking with scotch)

              Baggage 2 (Ms.Karishma Motihar):
              1. One bottle was broken
              2.All her garments (Newly purchased garments, most of them were not even used) were drenched and stained with alcohol marks
              3.Her baggage is stinking of alcohol

              After explaining the situation to the ground staff in Mumbai,
              They took us to Mr. Denzel, he was extremely helpful in making me understand the process. He advised me lodge complaint and told me that he would report the incident from his end also.

              I have always found the entire crew of Jet Airlines and Vistara to be extremely polite and resourceful.
              But, for the first time I have seen the most arrogant and unreasonable behavior from the ground staff (Ms.Crystal)
              Despite of me telling her that both the bags contained bottles and paying money for excess baggage, her reckless behavior and casual approach towards her work resulted in the mess which has happened today.

              If you fell that I am falsifying my statement, please feel free to check the CCTV cameras and the Voice recordings in Goa airport.

              As a Silver member (JPNumber:[protected], I have always preferred Jet airways as a mode of travel for my Domestic and European trips
              As a matter of fact, I have a choice to pick an Air-India flight (AI 662) at the same time with the same price with more baggage allowance.
              But, I insisted to my travel desk to book Jet Airlines.

              For Pete's sake, please tell Ms.Crystal that it doesn't cost anything to be polite and helpful.

              In conclusion,
              We would like to lodge a formal complaint concerning the unprofessional behaviour of your ground staff in Goa, and to request compensation for the equipment that was destroyed.

                Myself Owesh Dawood writing this mail after the long hack of trouble given by your airways.
                I have done the return flight booking for Bombay to London and London to Bombay.
                For the flight from Bombay to London i was already having the 2pc Luggage Included in the ticket but for the return flight i was having only 1pc luggage so for that i had called to your customer support on 04 May 2018 to get the 1pc plus luggage for the return flight from london to Mumbai.

                But from your end there has been the miscommunication and the executive has done the additional 1pc luggage for the bombay to london Flight . First thing to notice is that i haved called you on 4 may 2018 on 11:30 after the flight has been arrived to its destination, how come you can blame me for buying the wrong flight luggage, you can also think of it that no one is stupid to buy the extra luggage for the flight which has already been taken off.
                For that 1 Pc luggage i have paid 7000rs /- but its all in vein. Not only this when i reached the airport for checking airport authority argued that i have not purchased the extra luggage for the return flight and charged me 140 pound almost 14000/- rs..
                I am REALLY IRATED FOR THIS ISSUE.
                Kindly send me the better response from your end, i have called to customer support twice none of it is helpful so just get the RCA and get me the possible resolution by refunding my 140 pound.

                    Ground staff handeling check in counter at new delhi station found collecting more then 15 bags from people travelling in a group.

                    She collected baggage first without counting, dropped all luggage from the belt. Then she started issueing boarding passes and putting luggage acknowledgements sticker on the back. To which there was confusion about total number of luggage and boarding passes in between ground staff and the guest.

                    She entered all luggage details on register, boarding passes and guest name etc. Which was normally not required. During this process, she kept on talking with the guest unnecessarely also found quoting 'she is a rajput and would help to a rajput and thakur, as guests sir name was thakur. This process costs other waiting guest more then 20 minutes.

                    She shouted on the guest waiting for check in, to keep quite or go to airport as some of the guest having discussion about her unproffessional approach.

                    She entertained one guest out of the turn which came along with the porter to check in flying for doha.

                    As i was part of this discussion, she threatened me that she had the powers to detain my luggage at new delhi even after check in. Which further led to more arguments.

                    Due to her behaviour, i would not like to travel with jet airways again.

                      Dear Sir/Madam,
                      My name Sonal, I recently returned to Chennai from Leh, via Delhi on flight 9W 0636 & 9W 0798 respectively, which arrived 14th May 2018 at 17:20 at Chennai Airport. After reaching to Chennai airport, I found my baggage tag No. 4589 9W376162 was damaged (cracked n broken in the corner). This branded bag TOMMY HILFIGER was purchased recently at Rs.13500.00 and i could not imagine the way it was damaged but I have taken videos at Chennai airport at the time of manually unloading baggage’s from flight & throwing in luggage vehicles without any luggage lifting equipment. It is very horrible to see a carrier which is being rated no 1 in the private aviation sector is working like this.

                      After i went to Chennai Jet Airways counter and complained for the damage of the bag. The staff members available on the counter were Ms.Dinekha[protected], Mr.Ajith George[protected] & Ms.Beulah, They have taken my bag pictures but not booked my complaint after seeing the physical condition of my damage bag and inform me to send a mail to [protected]@jetairways.com with Attached damaged bag pictures.

                      I request JET Airways to provide me decent and reasonable compensations or repair of my damage bag.

                        One staff member at the boarding gate named irfan at the delhi airport as we boarded for the flight to kathmandu was extremely rude and cursory. He literally said "go". There was no "please" or polite words to ask me to move forward. How can you ask a customer to go? The correct words to say would have been please keep moving, or please move forward, etc.

                        I am very disappointed with the service and am even thinking of not flying jet anymore.

                        I think your staff need to be taught how to be more polite and thoughtful, gentle and patient with travellers.

                            I am confident; you will look into the matter with sympathy and consider the refund as prayed for on humanitarian ground

                                The ticket not yet issued and the amount of rs 5441 was deducted from my account.

                                  I have submitted a complaint yesterday but to no response? is this the type of response? what does it take for you to respond??? do i need to go on social mecia to get a response? this is the most pathetic atrocious customer service i have faced, your boarding staff traumatized me, your counter staff were trying to charge 4 times the price& you did not have a basic decency to book a flight. i will never fly a jet & ensure the two mnc s i work for do not fly you since unlike you they do not harass people

                                    Yesterday i travelled in jet airways from nagpur to mumbai between 2205 to 2330 hrs. When i received my baggage at mumbai airport my suitcase was broken... It was proper at nagpur airport n now its useless for me i want an answer for this why so happened with my luggage... It was an expensive bag n i had used it for once or twice only n wht careless behaviour is this of whm so ever. I want some strict action to be taken on this what if while going my luggage. This is not the way to handle our luggage. I want refund for this.

                                      I had a flight on 13th may early morning with ticket no 589-[protected] and 589-[protected]. Departure time was at 5.55 am, i reached at 5.30 am.
                                      The person at the counter said flight has already departed. I requested the person over the counter to just consider my request to board me on flight as it was important. But instead of trying to help me he bluntly refused and asked to book another ticket from the counter. Sometimes we should see whether the person requesting is genuine or not.

                                      I rushed to the booking counter as it was very urgent. The staff sitting over there was not aware about the next flight and directed me to vistara counter to book flight as per them there was no other flight at that moment. She did not even check the schedule of flights.
                                      When i requested her to help me to board the same flight she too refused and asked to speak to the other person. I requested her to help me to talk to the concern person as they must be aware of internal staff.
                                      But it was in vein she did not even tried and refused.
                                      If ou check my records i never missed any flight, it was first time i was just reached 25 min before the departure.

                                      I didnt see even an attempt of effort made to help me.

                                      I was regretting for my flight booking through jet airways.

                                      It was y daughter's birthday and i wanted to reach early to utilize her day fully but because of jet airways staff i wasted 5 hours from her special day.

                                      I want an action against the staff.
                                      Very upsetting experience.

                                        I missed my flight on 12th may 02.05 am from mumbai to colombo by 2 minutes, despite mine& collegues constant appeals the boarding staff did not listen to us nor did thet book us on alternate flights. Firstly the pa system at mumbai airport is not clear and the boardinf staff did not di anything to help us, only offloaded us & we had to get everything else done. We incurred inr 40k loss & tremendous mental grief as my waiting son at home was hugely upset, what was most upsetting was the extremely callous& unprofessional attitude of the two staff at the boarding counter on the jet airways flight to colombo on 12th may morning.
