On May 07, 2018, we took flight number 9W0445 from Goa to Mumbai.
It was a direct flight, but during the course of the trip, our checked in luggage was damaged beyond repair.
Details of the incident is given below
After arriving Goa airport, I have met the baggage security and informed them that we have 12 bottles of scotch in one bag.The baggage person told me to distribute 6 bottles in each bag,
which I did.
After the security seal was done, we have arrived to check in counter where I met Ms.Crystal (she was very rude to me and my college - please check the CCTV footage).
I told her that both the bags contains 12 Scotch bottles (I also told her she has to be careful with the luggage as I need to give these bottles to my friend in Hong Kong).
She told me that the baggage is overweight by 15 kgs and I need to pay for 10 kilos (as I hold Silver membership).
I went back to the security, dumped beer cans (5 kilos) and gave the baggage to Ms.Crystal.
This time, she told me that I have to pay for 10 kilos, I have reminded her about my Silver membership. She said "Ooh I forgot, yes you only need to pay for 5 Kg"
Later, she made an invoice for excess baggage of 5 kgs (Rs 2000, invoice copy is attached)
I went to the ticketing counter, paid the invoice and gave reciept to Ms.Crystal.
I repeat, she was very arrogant and impolite during above transaction
After reaching Mumbai, my horrors had begun.
She has not attached fragile sticker on any of our two luggages,
Baggage 1 (Satya Jatla):
1.Two bottles in one of my bag was broken,
2.All my garments are drenched and stained with alchol
3.My laptop charger was damaged
4.There are small pieces of glass in my bag, my thumb was cut nd was bleeding while removing the articles
5.My bag is in no condition to go to any kind of travel (its stinking with scotch)
Baggage 2 (Ms.Karishma Motihar):
1. One bottle was broken
2.All her garments (Newly purchased garments, most of them were not even used) were drenched and stained with alcohol marks
3.Her baggage is stinking of alcohol
After explaining the situation to the ground staff in Mumbai,
They took us to Mr. Denzel, he was extremely helpful in making me understand the process. He advised me lodge complaint and told me that he would report the incident from his end also.
I have always found the entire crew of Jet Airlines and Vistara to be extremely polite and resourceful.
But, for the first time I have seen the most arrogant and unreasonable behavior from the ground staff (Ms.Crystal)
Despite of me telling her that both the bags contained bottles and paying money for excess baggage, her reckless behavior and casual approach towards her work resulted in the mess which has happened today.
If you fell that I am falsifying my statement, please feel free to check the CCTV cameras and the Voice recordings in Goa airport.

As a Silver member (JPNumber:[protected], I have always preferred Jet airways as a mode of travel for my Domestic and European trips
As a matter of fact, I have a choice to pick an Air-India flight (AI 662) at the same time with the same price with more baggage allowance.
But, I insisted to my travel desk to book Jet Airlines.
For Pete's sake, please tell Ms.Crystal that it doesn't cost anything to be polite and helpful.
In conclusion,
We would like to lodge a formal complaint concerning the unprofessional behaviour of your ground staff in Goa, and to request compensation for the equipment that was destroyed.
Jet Airways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
