The same incident happen to me, baggage found damaged at arrival which is beyond repairable. Jet airways offering me 1000 rs for 15 k luggage. I reject the same but now they are not listening any complain.
So i decided to go consumer forum to case against them. Is it work or the consumer court look after this type of case also, can some one suggest to me?

My wife travel from Mumbai to Dehradun with Jet Airways on 22nd February 2018 when she arrived at Dehradun baggage found damaged which is beyond repairable, she complain to Jet Airways staff at dehradun they offer 500 for damage she denied because the luggage cost is too high she tell them to replace it, they did not register any complain and give a mail id to complain [protected]@jetairways.com, i complained on given email id they collect all the information and offer 1000 Rs i already told them i don't need any money for that just replace my bag, they still not responding on matter. so its my humble request to Jet Airways please look after the matter
Because of daily complaining the matter i am got mentally disturb please look after the case ASAP otherwise i am planning to move consumer court let them handle the case.

Senior passenger was bumped from flight 234 on Dec/11 (Amsterdam departure 12:10 pm - Toronto arrival 2:30PM) and moved to flight KL691 by KLM which resulted in a 8+ hours delay.

Her health situation worsened after KL691 kept their passengers on the plane for 3 hours before departing.

    I am a platinum level member of jet airways frequent flyer program since more than 10 years. I have millions of airmiles. On 21st feb i requested for two tickets on business class mumbai auckland mumbai. I also had telephonic conversation - reference no[protected] pm on 22nd feb 2018 requesting callback (Which has not happened even after 6 days). Send them three reminders. On 25th feb they said seats are available on outgoing sector for both o[censored]s and on the same day i confirmed to them via email to issue those tickets. But they did not do so and are now saying that the seat is available only for one passenger while the other one is waitlisted. I called them and emailed them repeatedly - however there is no one responding from their side and they keep changing the options given to me - but dont issue any tickets

      This is in regards to my mother's experience with jet ariways on feb 26th (9w 7007), completely ridiculous. She arrived to the airport, ready to check in 2 of her bags. When she weighted the bags at home, the weight was normal, but at the counter at the airport, it was 3kgs over. The lady at the counter told her that she was required to pay overweight fees, which she accepted. My mother gave her the credit card, and the lady said "sorry we cannot accept your card, cash only". (There was no sign, nothing indicating that credit cards aren't accepted, especially at a major airport, where credit cards are used on a daily - it was obvious that the lady was trying to pocket the money asking for "cash only"). My mom didn't have cash as she was leaving india and gave whatever indian currency she had to relatives before leaving. She asked if it would be possible to pay the money in mumbai as she didn't want to miss her flight. The lady said no. She called her brother to drop off 40, 000 rupees for the charges that the lady was asking. When my uncle arrived with the money, she said "sorry the flight already landed". Next, my mom asked to be put on the next flight (Sg 638-spicejet), and the lady said that airline only allows 1 bag and you have to pay 40, 000 for an extra bag put 20, 000 rupees for a new ticket. I just got off the phone with a jet airways rep, and he told me that this isn't the case, and that the lady had misinformed us. Because of this, my mom is now at the ahmedabad airport, missed all of her connecting flights and is left frustrated dealing with this whole ticket and baggaging issue. It has become obvious that the lady behind that counter was going to pocket that money, and had misinformed my mother about the tickets. I would like this issue resolved as soon as possible, as i will be taking legal action and will ensure that this case is looked into seriously. The jet airways staff are misleading customers (I have the conversations recorded as proof).

        Dear sir
        I had booked air tkt from mumbai to port blair on 01 jan 2018. Similarily boarding passes issued by jet air ways staff. But due to blunder and knowingly mistakes by jet air ways authorites i could not travelled. Because connecting flight time was not matching. My flight number was 9w 0613 pnr was gdcaxv
        But till date date jet airways could not refund my rs 9200/-
        It is really a matter of shame for jet airways authorities
        On that day they have also misbehave with me

          To whom it may concern

          This is a formal complain in regards to few stuff that got stolen out of my check in baggage.

          Attached is copy of my bording passes from landon to bombay & bombay to ahmedabad.

          When i collated my baggage in mumbai i found luggage belt was missing from my bag.

          When i reached home i noticed that not only luggage belt but also there was £50 note was on top pocket of my black bag has got stolen and also a fit bit watch from the other bag has got stolen.

          I would like to claim all these loss and would like to receive appropriate reimbursement for these loss.

          Itemized costs are as below:

          Luggage tag:$ 30 nzd only been used once

          Currency note : £ 50 gbp which was given to me from my cousin when i was leaving uk which i put it on first pocket in hurry.

          Fitbit watch $ 295 nzd just a year old

          Your kind attention to this mater will highly appreciated as i would like to get this sorted before i leave india on 16th march.



          This complaint was lodged on 20th february 2018 and i got reply as below:-

          This is in further reference to your e mail dated february 20, 2018.

          At the very outset we would like to thank you for your valuable time in communicating with us and are disappointed to note the inconvenience caused to you due to the missing items from your baggage as mentioned by you in your mail when you have traveled with jet airways.


          At jet airways, it is never our intention to inconvenience our passengers. We train our loaders on how to handle passenger baggage with due care. Hence, we note your grievance with great concern and have briefed all staff and loaders to take additional precaution to ensure that we do not cause inconvenience to our valued passengers.


          We also wish to inform you that passengers need to report any pilferage, of bag before leaving from airport. Since you did not report at the arrival of mumbai airport. Hence we will not be able to accept your claim.


          May we request you to view this incident in isolation and not representative of our services we endeavor to offer our valued passengers.


          Notwithstanding the above, we look forward to your support and continued patronage of jet airways.



          My reply was to them as below:

          I did inform the staff at mumbai airport about missing luggage belt but she was not concern about it at all, also in one and half hour i had to catch my next flight to mumbai airport.. Do you really think that i had time to go through all the luggage n check if everything is there? Use your common sense and advise?

          I can only advise about the stuff that was visible at that time..

          I did inform that staff but she was so irresponsible that did not even bother to write a complain about that missing belt and told me that she has no idea where the belt bas gone and advised me i only got about half an hour to check in for flight to ahmedabad. (Please note: at the mumbai airport they alredy had taken luggage off and put on the side for passengers travelling to ahmedabad and other domestic destination i did notice it and advise her at that time only as she was the only staff standing there.)

          Your response is irrelevant to the situation and you advising me just because your staff are height trained i should have informed you before leaving the mumbai airport or any airport? While person can only tell you about stuff being damage or missed once they open the bag.
          Do you really expect your customers to open the bags at the airport and advise you if everything is ok? No right?

          I request you to review this incident on very serious note or else i will take this issue further.



          Even after two emails i still have not received any response from jet airways.

          It is really disaaponting that airlines does not even bother to look at the situation did not and contact me or investigated and reply me with the message which does not even male sense.

          Kindly look in to this asap or i will have to take further step against airline.

            My login on jetprivilege was blocked. I was asked to submit id proof which i did on 14th feb on the email. I've been regirously following up with jet privilege call center and [protected]@jetprivilege.com. There is no resolution.

              On 5th December 2017, I tried to book a ticket for Manglore through JP Miles, which failed but I was charged Rs 2033/- on my card. Two months have passed by but I am still waiting for my refund and Helpline email just says that they are still looking into the matter and they have even stop replying to mails. They are delaying the matter and asking me to wait for months. Also they're calling helpline says they have put our complaint on high priority but still I am not getting a positive reply about my refund.
              I would like if they refund my amount as soon as possible

                I had to travel today 21st feb to raipur my pnr number is ewhedq bom to rpr the timing of the flight departure was 6.40am and i reached airport by 5.30am but due to the que at the airport i reached the desk by 5.55am and they answer me that the check-in is closed inspite of requesting and saying them that i was already in the que for such a long time the dm and the person on the desk replied rudely we can't help you out. I want my refund of the ticket in any case.

                  Dear sir,

                  I booked the tickets for 4 pax for doha-delhi-jaipur on 19 jan 2018. However since the doha - delhi flight was delayed we missed the connection flight to jaipur. As the next flight was available only in the afternoon i requested for a refund and took a cab to jaipur at my own expense. A very courteous jet airways staff at delhi airport confirmed that the refund was issued and will be credited back within 10 days. However although 1 month has elapsed since the journey date the refund has not been credited back to my card till date. Kindly update the status of the refund at the earliest.                     My booking pnr no: vhkwqe the flight from mumbai to chennaii has been rescheduled to leave at 16.35 instead of 15.25. It is strange and little harsh on me. My program gets upset. Instead of just rescheduling my flight, you could have also offered alternate flight around or earlier than the same flight. I have to go to chennai on an important task. This delay will make my trip to chennai futile. I am a platinum card holder and my records will show as to how many years i have been frequenting your airlines to travel all over india and abroad. My frequent flier no: is 9w[protected]. Please take immediate action and let me know the availability of seats in earlier flights and let me choose the flight and change of plan at no extra costs.

                      I got a call from career jet and they told me to pay 7000 to the registration process. And when i wanted more details they are not giving infct not receiving the calls... I want my money back because m a student or else i will have to report in police station for cyber crime... This is my humble request to plzz return my money as soon as possible...

                        This is to inform you that during my travel from Delhi to Kochi through Jet Airways 9W 0912 I had a very bad experience with my luggage.

                        My bag was completely destroyed & also bag was opened even though it was locked while doing checking.

                        I need this to be compensated as this was really a pathetic situation that I couldn’t carry my luggage bag due to one wheel was completely destroyed.

                          I was travelling with jetairways 9w564. Pnr # pbqmtz vishal ujainia the flight was delayed by more than 2hours consumers not provided any information on why the flight was delayed until aggressive questioning was done and there seems to neo compensation to the passengers for such long unreasonable delays boarding started at 20.30 approximately. The airlines was aware of its connecting flight not arriving on time and still asked passengers to board the flight. No information passed on to the passengers as to why the flight was held up for about 1hour upon repeated questions finally announcement was made they are waiting for connecting flight passengers. Now after all the passengers boarded the flight was still not taking off and after repeated complaints from various passengers still there was no clarity on why the flight was still not ready to take off.. At the end the announcement was made after some aggressive questioning that due to atc, operational reasons and connecting flight issue the flight was delayed by more than 2 hours. The airlines is taking passengers for granted and needs to be punished for such bad behaviour and no communication to passengers. There was nothing being served to passengers by the airlines themselves only after very aggressive questioning in last 15 min. The crew started to provide juice to the passengers. This is a clear case of consumer rights negligence and airlines taking all passenger for granted. Serious action needs to be taken against the airlines. This flight9w564 and 9w 563 are repeatatively delayed flights and no action...

                            I am nandini chatterjee. Travelled on 10th february from mumbai to paris and paris to berlin by jet airways and air france. My flight number was af 6793 from mumbai and af 1534 from paris to berlin. I suppose to come by af 1734 but due to delay of my first flight i came by af1534. Due to this situation i didn't get my one luggage in airport after arriving. After 3days i got the bag to my address but one new watch is missing from my bag. It was expensive and i would like to get back it anyway.

                              I travelled with jet airways on 07 feb 2018 from delhi to pune pnr: kdijao. On flight when the meal was i was told that veg meal is over and the flight attendant offered me a non veg mean which i denied being a pure vegetarian and in place of it i was given a small sandwich. I am disheartened with your airlines negligence and want to register a complaint regarding this issue and need your response asap.

                                Date of incident : 18/02/2018 (Date when i tried to cancel)

                                Description: i have booked jet airways ticket through yatra (Worth inr. 9264). It was refundable ticket as shown in yatra app. But while cancelling, the refundable amount was reduced to rs. 0.00 after cancellation charges deduction. My question is if the cancellation charges are so high and refundable amount is finally becoming zero then why is it called a refundable ticket?
                                1. I want proper refund.
                                2. Please display proper information regarding refunds.

                                  On 5thfeb 2018 i started travel from antananarivo madagascar to nairobi kenya to mumbai and then to delhi.
                                  It was told to me that baggage will be delivered to me at delhi airport, even i enquired at every airport (Antananarivo, nairobi, mumbai) and they told that baggage will be handed over at delhi airport only.
                                  But after i reached delhi on 6thfeb 2018. I didn’t found my baggage and then i consulted jet airways team on delhi airport.
                                  They surprised me that baggage is still at mumbai airport and team had not loaded it respective flight to delhi. The baggage is at mumbai airport and custom clearance.

                                  This is really not acceptable the mumbai jet airways team should have told me that i need to do custom clearance of my baggage at mumbai airport and not even told me that my baggage is not loaded to delhi flight.
                                  The mumbai team told it will be delivered at delhi airport only.

                                  After i booked complained with jet airways on 6th feb. They took that baggage slips and filled one form (Refer photo attached) + one application to custom team on my behalf to handover baggage to jet airways team. Also took photo of my passport and immigration stamp.
                                  As i was travelling further to jammu. So jet airways team told me that baggage will be delivered at jammu airport in next 24 hours and now is almost 2 weeks. I don't even know where my baggage is. I called jet airways many times and jet airways customer care is always making excuses that there email team is not updating them, delhi team is not picking there call etc. Even one time they told that my baggage has been sent to delhi and next day they changed there statement. Please help to get my baggage back and action against jet airways staff who is misleading customers and giving wrong information.

                                    I had book my flight from ahmadabad to delhi by jetairways. Booking date is 0/12/2017.. And i had been selected my seat number 15a one day ago before check in date.. And when i reached in day departure date, jet airways check in crew member provide me last 43 number seat.. I was excited about window 15a seat.. And last 43 number hadn't species for my bag.. Very conjusted seat they provide me.. Very disappointed to for me.. Why your system not provide proper and trustees

                                      I do not know why passengers are not allowed to select the seat free of charge. I was travelling with my husband from mumbai to portland usa and tried to select the seats 48 hours, 24 hours and even 12 hours prior to departure. We could not get a seat together for the flight which was available at no extra cost. The seat map showed all the seats at minimum $11 extra charge. We contacted customer care and they also said that seats are not available and we will have to contact check-in desk at mumbai (Source of travel) to get the seats allocated. We were travelling through a domestic connection which was delayed by 2 hours and there was no time left to contact the check-in desk but to go for immigration in mumbai. The jet airways ground support staff said we will be helped by staff at boarding gate.
                                      When we requested the ground staff at boarding gate to change the seats they said all the seats are booked and they cannot assign us seats together. They proudly said that jet airways always overbook their flights and hence do not allow the passengers to pre-select the seats.
                                      They gave us an option to request and swap the seats with our peer seat number if the other passenger agrees to do so.
                                      This is ridiculous. We had to ask people to swap the seats with us during the flight which was very embarrassing.
                                      Moreover, jet airways did not even provide any compensation for this inconvenience and did not even bother to regret this mess they had created.
                                      I am never going to fly internationally on jet airways again in my life. They have worst service, uncomfortable seats in economy class, worst customer care.
                                      Jet Airways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        On 30th january 2018, tuesday, me and my husband had a flight from mumbai to ahmedabad at 5:20 am. Out previous flight from colombo to mumbai was delayed but still we reached to jet counter at 4:20 am i. E. 1 hour before the scheduled departure.
                                        But when we reached the counter, the ground staff was refusing to give entry. One lady, i don't remember her name, was very arrogant and she did not co-operate at all. She didn't even bother to help us, rather she was misbehaving. There was one old couple also who reached few minutes before us. They also experienced the same by that arrogant lady. Though we were on time, we were not allowed to board the flight neither they did provide any alternate. So, we were forced to arrange our travel on our own.
                                        We had an overnight hectic journey due to delayed flight and we were so tired. We left the counter and went to ahmedabad on our own.
                                        This is the worst ever experience we had with any airline. I never expected such behavior from jet airways staf[censored]
                                        We want reasonable compensation for the flight we weren't allowed to board. Herewith i am attaching the photo of my ticket.
                                        Kindly do the needful asap.
                                        Hope to get positive response at the earliest.
