I had sent 24 emails and made nearly 25 phone calls. I am attaching 4 pertinent emails- they give a summary of the events and the frustration I am experiencing. Following are the emails with dates:

6. 3 pairs of docker pants, 3 shirts, 5 under wear and 4 pair of socks
7. Following is the list of medicines for 2 weeks.
• Effient blood thiner which is not available in India. I am a cardiac patient and
• had angioplasty just 7 weeks ago.
• Diovan 320 mg 1 daily
• Metformin 500mg
• LIvalo 5mg 1 daily
• REmeron
• Vesicare 10mg 1 daily
• REmeron 15 mg 1 daily
• Lanasaprazole 30 mg 1 daily
• Baby Aspirin

• Besides going through lots of inconvenience and stress we literally spent 2 daysshopping
• for the drugs and clothing
WE will appreciate the compensation we are due before we leave USA on November 27.
• You can communicate with us on email.
• I will send my driver's licence ID vial my i Phone as a separate email.

This has reference to your complaint regarding mishandling of your check in baggage during your travel from Mumbai to Cochin  via 9W407 dated 19 Nov.
 
We candidly apologize for the inconvenience caused to you due to non – receipt of your check in baggage on arrival at Cochin airport.
 
Based on the feedback received from the Cochin airport and as per our policy guidelines we regret to inform that, we will not be able to compensate / offer any compensation for the delayed baggage.
 
Mr. Wasudev , please be assured your bag is still under trace.  We have sent tracer messages for locating your baggage throughout our network, but are unable to locate your missing baggage at this point of time.
 
However, we will continue to trace the bag till 04Dec, 2016, please bear with us in the interim period.
 
As per delayed/missing baggage handling guidelines, any missing baggage that is not traced or found within 15 days from the date baggage is reported missing, it will be declared as ‘lost’ and our baggage claims department will update you on the further processing and further course of action.
Your patience is highly appreciated in this regard.

Jet Airways are just sending prototype emails without taking any useful action about my lost baggage. It has been 2 months and 8 days since my baggage has been lost. I hope Consumer Complaint contact them again and send a stern massage.

    On tuesday december 6th, in a sudden and shocking event of demise of my father, we booked the flight tickets on Jetairways flight from Mumbai to kolkata in order to reach there at the earliest, to our comfort we found a flight at 2.30 AM, however as id rubbing salt to the wound you charged us an amount of whopping Rs. 54009/ for two tickets. How bad it was on your part. You are fleecing customers and robbing them their hard earned money for any emergency situation. whats the the point of air travel if you will charge a bomb for a last minute bookings.

    let me tell you, You took it as an opportunity to exploit us financially. I am really disappointed & disheartened with jet airways.

    At the max it can be 101-2 thousand, it can excced beyond 10k for each ticket. You have charged us obnoxiously high priced. Such an steep price.
    I am a regular traveller of jet airways.

    There was a trap. When I checked the flight tickets per person individually, it was less but when I booked the 2 tickets together. You charged 53000 surge pricing. It was very unprofessional on your part.How could i leave my wife and infant and book tickets individually, these were shown as last 3 tickets, importantly i found many empty seats on the flight !!! You chose to leave empty seats on flight but charged us a bomb!!!

    I am not going to let you go free hand in looting your customers like this.

    I will go to consumer forum, write to aviation ministry and post on public forums.

    Cheaters like you needs to be reminded you are in business due to passengers.

    for sure, I am not going to travel with jet airways anymore.

    Request you to look in to the matter & take suitable actin, else I am planning to raise my concern with the relevant authorities & media

      We booked tickets from varanasi to new delhi by jet airways 9w-2424 dated 1st jan 2017, 03:30 pm - 04:55 pm, pnr ogvyxf and dfkugf, passengers name are misbahur rehman, farrah rehman and zainah rahman.

      Same time we booked another ticket from new delhi to abu dhabi by air india express ix-115 dated 1st jan 2017, 08:50 pm - 11:10 pm, pnr 1w6560, with same passengers.

      Due to unannounced and unscheduled delay of your flight 9w-2424 we missed flight ix-115 and suffered lot, we lost ticket cost and bought new costly ticket to abu dhabi.

      Please consider my problems and try to compassionate as much as possible.

      My parents flight feb 09/2018 Mumbai to sfo in Paris 2 hrs hold my daddy he was sick and jet airways flight delayed and Paris connecting flight delayed and 24 hrs wait my parents in airport I need resolved.my parents was so sick and scare they have not lay over @ Atlanta but my parents staying in Atlanta hall night I need solve my problem I need compensation I really need some one solve this problem

        I had booked from flight from Pune to Los Angeles for 31st Dec 2016 and was suppose to land in Los Angeles on 1st Jan 2017 (Jet Airways Confirmation: PMDZJJ; Ticket #[protected]
        Please note - I had previously traveled from LA to Pune on Jet Airways ticket also on 11 Dec 2017 (ticket #[protected]

        However, this journey turned out to be the worse journey I ever had to undertake in terms of sheer bad treatment, bad planning and harassment by Jet Airways and has caused me severe mental and physical stress to me. Also, I had to miss 2 working days of my office as I reached on 4th Jan 2017 instead of 1st Jan 2017.

        Below is the summary of the sequence of events:
        31st Dec 2016: I boarded to Jet Airways flight from Pune to Abu Dhabi on 31st Dec 2016 and was suppose to board my connecting flight from Abu Dhabi to Los Angeles on 1st Jan 2017 (reaching Los Angeles on 1st Jan 2017)
        1st Jan 2017:
        My flight from Pune to Abu Dhabi was diverted to Sharjah for few hours due to which I missed my connecting flight to Los Angeles. Reached Abu Dhai Airport at around 10:30 am local time.
        There was utter chaos in the airport. No one willing to help and No assistance was provided. I was not given any information about when I would be given next flight to Los Angeles.
        I was made to sleep on the floor on the first day and was told that for Indians we cannot provide hotels as Abu Dhabi doesn't give visa on arrival hence the airport cannot provide any accommodation.

        2nd Jan 2017:
        Woke up at 4 am and still there were no updates were given on my bookings by Jet Airways.
        I was told that they cannot give me a direct flight to Los Angeles but can put me on a flgiht from Abhu Dhabi to San Francisco on 4th Jan 2017 and then another connecting flight from SF to Los Angeles on 4th Jan 2017.
        I was told that my transit visa has been applied and will be ready by afternoon and I can be provided an accommodation. However, by evening it became clear that my visa still had not come and I was again not provided any accommodation and was told to sleep in a sleeping pod in airport.
        3rd Jan 2017:
        Met with the senior level airport authorities personnel as I was the only person who had spent 3 days in the airport and was physically drained out. They noted my complaint and were able to provide me with Emergency visa and a hotel till night.
        4th Jan 2017:
        Took the flight from Abu Dhabi to SF. However, in SF the connecting airlines to Los Angeles told me that Jet Airways has not correctly booked my tickets and they cannot give me a boarding pass. This was almost like someone had put salt on my wounds. I had to call the Jet Airways customer care from US; got them to connect with American Airlines to sort this out.
        I would like to be adequately compensated as I had to suffer beyond a reasonable limit a person can tolerate.

        Due to your Airlines:
        I reached my destination 3 days later than actual date.
        Missed 2 days of office in US (and 2 days worth of salary) which is more than my to and fro journey from LA to Pune via Jet Airways.
        Severe Physical dehydration due to lack of sleep and no arrangements for accommodation
        Faced severe mental stress due to uncertainty of bookings of connecting flights
        I paid almost $2000 for my to and fro journey from LA to Pune but was given such horrible treatment.

          Inspite of writing to even the CEO I have no response and no bag.

          Dear Mr. Amit Agarwal

          I hope you will allow me to take up five minutes out of your very busy schedule to voice some customer feedback. I know this maybe a small issue for you, but for us the customer, this was a big issue and has clouded our whole Jet Airways experience. I am writing to you as a last resort, trusting you and your team at Jet Airways will respond and try and make this right in whatever way possible. The ball is in your court now Mr. Agarwal. We hope you will welcome us back into the fold of satisfied Jet customers.

          We travelled on the 14th of December Rome-Abu Dhabi-Mangalore by Etihad Jet alliance. When we reached Mangalore, one of our suitcases did not arrive. Unfortunately this was the suitcase of one of our four kids and so added to our frustration, was the extreme disappointment of the child who foresaw a holiday sans their best clothes (which included clothes for Christmas and weddings we were to attend).

          Of course the usual report was made at Mangalore airport and then began a daily follow up by me. After two days, when I called they informed me that the bag had been located in Manila. It had inadvertently been sent from Abu Dhabi to Manila. Since it had been located, I was assured that within a day or two the bag would be rerouted and arrive in Mangalore. This did not happen. After a few days I was told the bag had reached Abu Dhabi at least, but again apparently this was a miscommunication and the bag was indeed still in Manila. 22 days have now passed, we are back in Rome and the bag is still in Manila; and I have no communication from your side as to anything. I was last made to understand that the bag would be declared lost and I would hear from the baggage claims division as to the compensation. However- so far nothing, and as you might have guessed I am one very disappointed customer and as a very frequent international traveler, I must add that we have never experienced these levels of poor service from any airline ever.

          Let me add here, that whenever I spoke to or met the staff at Jet Airways Mangalore including your station Manager Mr. Hyder they were polite and tried to be helpful. However that was when I initiated contact, which was every day and even included hounding the station manager at the airport itself. I would have expected a higher level of service, where jet airways regularly updated me on the status of the bag and escalated the issue to the point of ensuring the bag did reach us.

          I cannot understand why a lost bag that was located, was not on priority rerouted to the passenger. There seems to be a larger issue here, that hopefully you as senior management will address. More importantly the lack of service quality must be addressed. We travel Jet airways often and as expats working for the United Nations are proud to tell everyone that Jet is the best airline in India. Hence it is all the more disheartening to have had this experience.

          We do hope you can help us. Not only do we hope to receive the compensation due at the earliest, but since the bag has been located, we would still very much like to have the bag delivered to us (now to our home in Rome of which details have been given).

          Worst airline..They dont value their customers..

          I had gone through the terrible experience through this airlines from Toronto to Delhi via London.
          On reaching delhi, they lost my luggage.. and they do not have any reply for this .now its more than a week, i m still waiting for my luggage.when we do follow up they always say wait for 24 hours.it is highly frustrating..

            I bought my JetPrivilege HDFC Bank World Debit Card in the month of August1'16. As per the benefits mentioned in the website for both Jet Airways and HDFC for the said card, I am suppose to get 2000 JP miles as bonus within 90 days of my First Swipe with the same card. Which I havent got it yet.

            I have been continuously following up with Jet airways customer care but of no use. I called them repeatedly on 26th, 28th, 30th, December'17, 2nd and then 6th January'17 but every time i called they said it would take 72 hrs for the miles to get credited and till now there is no resolution to this.

            I have spoken to the Floor supervisor Mukesh Kumar, he assured that i would get a resolution to this within 4 days that is when i spoke to him on 2nd and today is 9th but i see no progress.

              I have been JetPrivilege member since Jun 4, 2016. I had 3674 JP miles in my account.

              However, whenever i tried to book tickets, upon entering my Jet Privilege Number & correct password, a message was displayed on my screen that system was not able to get my membership details.

              Also, i was eligible to get a special welcome discount of Rs. 750 if i booked return flight to travel during the period mentioned in the mail that i got from JetPrivilege. I did so, but i didn't get Rs. 750 discount.

              I dialed their customer care number & recently their executive credited 2506 JP miles in my account. Upon being enquired about why less than 3674 miles were credited, he told me to write to [protected]@jetprivilege.com.

              I forwarded emails that i received from JetPrivilege mentioning my JP miles & the offer to [protected]@jetprivilege.com.

              A person named Ali Shiri who initially responded to my mail stopped responding. The last response i got was:

              "Further, a copy of the below correspondence has been forwarded to the concerned department ([protected]@jetairways.com) who will revert to you shortly."

              It has been 4 days. I didn't get a mail either from Ali Shiri or from [protected]@jetairways.com.

              Their JetPrivilege system is not proper, that is why my JP miles vanished automatically.

              I still don't have my original 3674 JP miles in my account. Also, they didn't do anything about the offer that i didn't get despite of being eligible for it.
              Jet Airways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                I am vishal kaundal. I have travelled from doha to delhi on 5th early morning. At the time i have reached delhi my 2 checked in luggages were missing. I reported my issue to person on desk of Jet Airways. He assured me that i will get my luggage with in 24 hours. Its already more then 48 hours i dint get any call or mail. I have mailed them regarding my luggage but I dint get the reply. My complaint no. Is QR805246. It has been 2 days since I mailed them. They didn't reply about laggage.

                  I have to travel from Delhi to Banglore. I have booked a ticket from jet airways. My name on the ticket is wrongly printed as Nona Kalra instead of Sourav Kalra. when I have called for modifying my ticket, they said that the name cannot be changed and ticket is non refundable. They failed to give satisfactory answer and compelled me to cancel the ticket

                    I am ABDUL HAMEED MASTHIKUNDU, regular passenger of jetairways, I am sorry to say that very poor sevice from your Dubai office. my flight was SHJtoIXE on 31st dec. nobody informed me about fight cancellation above PNR. I reached Shj airport 9.30 Saturday with my childrens, airport official said for contact jet airways, I try to contact your office more than 2 hours, after that given to me ticket from AUHtoIXE 1st Jan.Jet airwys didn't provide transport, food etc.. this day's have lot of ways to inform customers about flight staus, I hope jetairway will take appropriate action as soon as possible.I believe eligible for flight delay charges + transportation fee. Thanking you.

                      This is a very interesting case ... I have a flight from guwahati to pune ... PNR QNFWVY ... Flight at guwahati was on time and we boarded on time ... But then flight didn't took off ... When waiting for almost 45 min I asked crew they told me they are waiting for people from some connecting flight ... Then captain made announcement that since people have to go home we are waiting for them and kindly support us ... I told crew I have connecting flight they said they will wait in delhi for you ... When I landed in delhi at 9:10 pm they said .very proudly jet airways flight from del to pune was on time sir ... Now I am stuck here and have been given a option of 3am flight to go home ... My queries
                      Are those 18 people have to go home and I don't ?
                      Why one airline has different rule for customers ... ?
                      Ground staff in delhi is unaware of reason and still when I am writing this is not aware of the reason and saying yes it's jet fault we understand but can't do much ?
                      Why do I need to spend whole night at airport ... ?
                      Now next part is attitude ... While de boarding the flight same crew who was telling us the flight will wait says go straight and u will find domestic transfer ?
                      People here ground staff says one crew was sick that's why delay ... After 15 mins pass3nger was sick that's why... After 10 mins captain needs to be changed that's why ... Then finally one official came up and said sir what ever happened has happened ... Take next flight and do write to us we will investigate ... As if I didn't know that I live in India

                      I am a silver card holder but after today's incidence I will make sure either I take train or any other flight but not jet and will post the pic of destroyed card once I am home ... Because that is what it deserves ... Sheer carelessness and I don't care attitude ... I feel sad for you guys ... I know I can't do much but will make sure not even a single penny comes to jet feom me after this experience

                        I, Mrs.Nergish Antia (70) along with my husband Mr. Daraivs Antia, (71) had booked the Jet Airways tkts for DXB/BOM/DXB during November/December 2016 the details of which are as follows:
                        DXB/BOM - 9W0541/22.11.16 in Economy class - PNR VUOQPU seats 23C/B
                        BOM/DXB - 9W0558/29.12.16 in Economy class - PNR VUOQPU seats 23D/E
                        Our tkts were booked by Arabian Travel Agency LLC and the travel consultant was Susan Samson.

                        The DXB/BOM flight was good and on time with no problems but BOM/DXB flight we faced quite a hassle. As the time of departure was 20.40, we still left our house (Lalbagh, Mumbai) as early as 1600 hrs., taking into account the unpredictable bombay traffic. When we reached the airport the first thing I noticed was that this particular flight was not listed on the flight information board. I approached 2 Jet Airways' personnel to inquire and was told that it was a technical glitch. We accepted that and when our turn came to check-in, the boarding passes given were showing the flight number as 9W0544 instead of 9W0558, and the departure time shown as 1900 hrs. We got nervous as it was almost 1800 hrs., when we were supposed to be at the boarding gate. We ran to the check-in counter once again and inquired and were coolly told that it was ok as the airline has clubbed two flights together and the aircraft is going to be 777. Imagine our state, as the queues at the immigration/security check were serpentine, and after that gate 77 which was quite far, but for the help of an airport staff, who on seeing us in a frenzy, immediately helped us in getting a buggy to reach the boarding gate.

                        What I would like to ask the airline here, is that if a person wants to change his/her booking due to some emergency/urgent work, the airline charges them thousands of rupees more to do so, but when the airline chan ges its flight number and also departure time by 1 hr 40 mins., then are they answerable, specially for not even informing the passenger well in advance?
                        We being SEnior Citizens, were nervous to the limit as there was a solid rush at the airport and no Jet Airways personnel was giving us suitable reply. HOW IS THE AIRLINE GOING TO COMPENSATE US FOR THIS MENTAL TENSION? and to add insult to injury, the flight was then delayed by almost 1/2 hour due to air traffic and our trolley bag was tampered with, breaking the zip and the lock.

                        Please I would like to know that isn't the airline supposed to inform us of the sudden change in flight number and departure time? If this type of gaffe was committed by Air India, the media will play a havoc by giving it as a headline in all news papers. But what about this?

                        I demand some compensation for this and a suitable reply, as soon as you can and if Idon't get a suitable reply within a fortnight, I am going to report it higher authorities, and will go an extra mile, to inform my friends/relatives, which will surely damage your popularity, because this is not an ordinary mistake but very serious. Supposing if we had come to the airport a little later, we would have surely missed the flight. I shudder to think how many passengers missed their flight due to the airline apathy.

                        As I am retired housewife, I am not tech savvy hence I have given you the details very clearly, as I cannot send the photos but I have got all the necessary E tkt/boarding passes/travel agency business card etc., which i[censored] so require, I will personally come to your office to hand them over.

                          I, Sanghamitra Sengupta hereby describing my bitter experience that i gathered on 3rd Jan 2017 in respect of my journey from Kolkata airport to Pune via Mumbai against my flight no 9W618 PNR no FVNMHP and ticket no[protected]. I reached the airport 35mins before my scheduled departure time. But there was a huge queue?? at the jet Airways counter. When my turn came there was still 30 mins for its departure but the authority refused to issue me my boarding pass with an excuse that the boarding is closed. I put up a proposal of dropping my only 7kg small luggage back and fly but they refused it too.They told me that I have got no other options than cancelling my flight and take another flight. I had an important meeting in Pune which i was unabled to attend.I was subjected to intense harassment due to their mismanagement. I have a question to the system. Who is responsible for this harassment? I want an immediate answer and a grassroot enquiry into the matter. I want my money back as well. Waiting eagerly for your early reply.

                            I used to carry my dog labrador always with me using jet airways flight from Bangalore to dehradun n u used to charge 5000 bt this time u have increased it to 18000..n because of it I had to chg all my plans because Ur direct flight to doon which carry dog was nt available n had to book ticket till Delhi..
                            Can u plz tell y hv u increase the charge soo much

                              I made a reservation today on January 4th morning via Yatra.com and booked 6 tickets (5 adults and 1 kid) travelling on Jet Airways.

                              The destination was selected incorrectly by me. I was supposed to travel from New Delhi to Lucknow on 26th January and was to return from Lucknow to New Delhi on 29th January.

                              However by mistake I booked it from Lucknow to New Delhi on 26th January and returning from New Delhi to Lucknow on January 29th.

                              I called Jet Airways same time and they are saying that per the fare rule policy, the change in ticket fee is 3700/- plus 6% service charge (one way) which is much higher than the price of the ticket.

                              And if I cancel the ticket then only 5670/ - will be refunded .The cancellation charges are way high. I want to travel on the same dates as there is a family function on January 26th.

                              So please check if you can cancel this reservation so that i can make a new reservation or if you can get the travel destination corrected.

                                My wife's bad handle was broken when she was collecting it. She board flight from Bangalore to Mumbai on 4th Dec morning. I am sure that those guys are throwing all the bag on the belt like we have seen in a YouTube video. My wife did camplained to ground staff and they ask to contact lost and found department outside the airport. Are you serious? First of all she didn't lost anything and secondly what lost and found department has to do with jetairway breaking her bag handle.

                                  I have traveled to USA in the month of oct (8th oct ) along with UA however when i approach jet airways for my earned miles they are crediting my earned miles for flight as well as for hotel... more over its has been more then 2 month no response... from jet airways which as per consumer protection as deficiency of service i' hv spend alot of time on calls and annoyed every time now its enough i need govt support to teach a good lesson to jet airways about customer service in India.

                                    ON Flight 9W- 353 on 2nd Jan 2017 - Mumbai to Delhi - arrogant and rude behavior of the crew and in Particular Nazreen . There was place available in the closet - but in spite of repeated request did not bother to keep my Jacket in the closet - No courtesy to give a reason why the Jacket was not placed in the closet - the only response was please talk to Jet airways
                                    If this is the behavior of the crew - God bless the airline - I am a Platinum Card holder and my FF No is 9W[protected]

                                      Respected Sir /Madam,

                                      I Priyank H Adhiya was Travelling from Sweden to Hyderabad by Flight No.
                                      SK 6229981. I boarded the flight on 23rd Dec and reached Hyderabad on 24th Dec 2016.

                                      My Baggage was misplaced, I had registered my complained in Hyderabad Airport, the receipt of which is attached with this email.My engagement was schedule on 24th of Dec 2016 and i had few expensive clothes-worth Rs 40, 000 for my would be wife in my bag which was lost and i did not receive my bag within 24 hrs as per your guidelines/rules/Promise.I had to postpone my engagement and had to do all shopping again.To add to my frustration i kept calling on toll free no and the call was kept on hold for more than 30 to 45 mins and every-time i get to hear the same response it is in custom clearance and you will get it in few hours.

                                      One baggage which was 24 kg which had expensive clothes as mentioned earlier reached after chasing and going through lot of mental harassment on 26th evening around 8 pm which was again too late .

                                      one bag weighing 8 kgs was also lost/ misplaced and recieved it on 27th evening which is than 72 hrs and that too at nite arohnd 9.30 pm and god again my road trip is stuck because of carelessness of jet airways.It had few chocolates and some glass items which was already broken.

                                      I have been travelling with Jet Airways since past few years but this time it was worst experience. Had to face a lot of embarrassment due to delay in my family function and mental torture from your staffs who kept my call on hold for hours and giving me fake promise that i will get my bag within few hours.I would never suggest anyone to travel by jet airways henceforth and even if i am offered free services i wont opt jet airways.

                                      I dont have so much of time to spare on you while i am on holidays to attach all bills and claim compensation.

                                      According to your rules and as per our telephonic conversation with Arvinder and rahul
                                      Total Compensation amounts to Rs 11, 200 (24 kg +8 kg =32 kg *350).I would request you to deposit the compensation in bank account in 7 days, else i wont hesitate to file a case on consumer forum against jet airways for mental harassment as well fraud and misrepresentation of services to customers.

                                      Passport copy for your reference
                                      Receipt of Complaint Registered in Hyderabad Airport.

                                      No response will be considered that my refund is approved and will be credited in 7 days and again delay on response will be an act of carelessness.

                                        My husband Nelson Dsouza travelled on 2nd jan 2017 in Mumbai Bahrain flight of jet airways flight no. 9w592.

                                        His bag was not been sent in the flight and is missing since den. Our complaint file reference number is BAH9W11790.

                                        There is no positive response or any call from the jet airways team till now.

                                        We want to claim for the missing bag and the items dat would have got spoiled or damaged bcz of the company's mistake

                                        The bag was been sent by some other flight, and the company was able to resolve the things in 2 days time, we got call from their customer care number, and my husband was personallly doing the followup in Bahrain airport, where he got his bag after 2 days. All what happened we got our bag. Sorry for late indication
