I left a baggage at the luggage belt at the mumbai international airport, after i landed from delhi. I informed the jet over emails and phone calls. I got a call form them to pick up the luggage but they didn't mention which terminal. On repeatedly inquiring from them, the jet mumbai office executive told me to collect it from the jet airport ticketing counter at the domestic airport, i told them but jet operates from the new terminal and the international airport, i kept asking them to confirm and they said yes, we know but your luggage is at the domestic airport, nobody mentioned terminal 1 or 2. I even informed that that two terminals are 30 mins away in mumbai traffic and i have an indigo flight to bangalore from terminal 1, so please confirm that i have visit the jet ticket counter at terminal 1, and they said yes, that is where i have to visit. I even asked them to send me a confirmation mail stating the same and the exact address. After putting me on hold several times, they confirmed over the phone but didn't send me an email. I called them 4 hours before my flight and asked them to clarify so that i can plan my travel accordingly and explicitly told them that visiting t2 and then t1 adds a good 45 minutess to the travel time. I even told them that i escalate a complaint if i am told to visit the other terminal once i visit terminal 1 and claim damages and i was reassured that it won't required. Once i reached the domestic airport terminal 1, i kept trying to get in touch with touch and was now told to collect my baggage from the other airport. I wasted my time, energies and money on numerous std calls and ran all over t1 but without no help. I was hassled by jet staff and was given excuses as to how the people in customer care don't know the exact office and sorry we cant help and finally 20 minutes before my indigo flight i got a call from mr. Snowel from jet who clarified that the lugged is at the other terminal and that jet can't do anything but send the luggage to bangalore airport the next day, i requested him to parcel the luggage to my apartment in bangalore but he refused and rather asked me riase a formal complaint and escalate the issue if i deem fit or you have to come and pick up your bag from the other terminal in mumbai. I was misinformed multiple times even when i kept clarifying. Now, i am in bangalore without my luggage. I have been misinformed, the jet executives have been shifting blame to support office back and forth. On top, 4 hours of time where i had business calls and meeting scheduled in mumbai over 3 days have been wasted and mental peace exhausted to co-ordinate these calls. These is a sever case of negligence, misinformation and extreme inconvenience. I need my baggage now and i also want to be compensated damages for all the hassle and trauma i was put through.
