My son Thomas Vargheese, who is doing his 3 rd year B tech in SRM Chennai booked ticket on 20.12.16 from Chennai to Coimbatore. Due to heavy traffic he could not reach airport in current time. Even though he reached the airport he was not allowed to board the flight, since the boarding time was over.
fine, why they did not arrange him to go in next flight and why they refused to refund? He pleaded and asked them that he will pay additional amount but still they denied.

He is not travelling for first time, he has travelled abroad also. We have lost our commitments due to missing his flight and he travelled by bus for hours to reach Coimbatore.

    On Dec 13, 2016, I booked 2 domestic tickets by redeeming jet miles (PNR TSUIGY). I noticed the total of the invoice off by $13.92 and called Jet Privilege. I was told that is conversion charges by bank and when I challenged, how can be conversion charges for $54 be $13.92, I was told after consultation a super will get back.
    After 3 telephone calls and assurances that a supervisor will get back to me...no one did. In the period since my booking I have spoken with Taufiq, Jaideep & lastly just now with Pinaz(ref 10018546 on Dec 21 @ 9.45 am EST)
    Then I noticed on my e-ticket attachment, later addition of nomenclature as Service Fee - Insurance (YR)$13.92 and I did not opt for insurance nor have I got any Insurance Policy to date. I have luckily saved both copies of my ticket...one that totals to $53.36 but shows the total as $67.28 and the modified one after my complain.
    My above booking by redeeming air miles, an additional amount of $13.92 has been invoiced ILLEGALLY charged on my credit card
    I want immediate refund of this money along with a justified compensation for the harassment and frustration I have faced and loss of time.

      Last 2 weeks I have been desperately trying to book seats to/from Paris on your partner airlines. Your Jet Privilege Service Centre handling this function is the most inefficient one. They do not know the subject, cannot handle a customer query or satisfy a customer requirement. They have to be approached only on Email. Response time is 72 hours, by which time the PNR lapses. They don't know how much I have to pay as Surcharge and taxes, they don't know how much is the free baggage allowance, terms and conditions of booking on partner airlines. They pointed me to Air France, who promptly pushed me back saying that it has to be handled only by Jet Airways. For every query there is a 72 hour time line for response, which is killing and testing my patience. The guys on the phone keep telling me that I must only send mails to the Backend and they will only send replies on email. Your Backend seems to be forbidden to call or speak to your customers and that's very funny to believe. During the last 2 weeks there has not been a single instance when your service center proactively called me and tried to satisfy my requirement. It's a very frustrating experience to say the least. Result is I cannot travel during the summer holidays and redeem the JP Miles which I painstakingly accumulated to spend time with my family in Europe the coming summer. Thanks to Jet Airways..

        My Chandigarh-Del-Mumbai flight on 9-Dec-2016 was cancelled for the Chandigarh-Delhi sector by Jet airways due to bad weather.
        I had even done web check-in and got the boarding pass of the flight when it was cancelled by the airline.

        Cancelled Flight: 9W 2648

        For that I was informed bu Jet airways service desk on call that full refund will be given for whole journey.
        Now it has been 12 days and after more than 3 reminders by email to [protected]@jetairways.com there has been no action and no refund.
        Please help in getting the refund.

          Our Reservation Code HJQOVZ,
          Travelling from Vadodara to Newyork on July 27'16 by 9W461 Jet Airways flight. Check in Vadodara. We had weighed bags under 23 Kgs at home and at the time of check in our two bags weighed 1.5 to 2 kgs excess. Our carryon bags were as per international sizes but weighing more than 7 Kgs. I havebeen travelling with many airlines and was never asked for carryon bags. I had to pay Rs.35730/-for the extra weight.(Receipt # 2 589 [protected] 1 )
          We returned Bombay on Dec.1'16 by Jet Airways Flight 0231(DL5152/29NOV/DL13429NOV. We didn't receive our 4 checked in bags at Bombay Airport. We complained and file refence(BOM9W96707)30 NOV16/2037GMT). We received bags at Vadodara after four/fivedays with missing new clothes and money about $200/ and Rs.13000.
          We were very upset.I would request you please airlines compensat our losses.Please do needful at the earliest.

          My flight 9W-752 from LKO to Del cancelled on 3/12/2016 at 9pm due to bad weather. Hence connecting flight on 4/12/2016 morning also not possible to avail.Airline assured for full refund. Stamped tkt attached herewith. Pls refund for both segments i.e. from Lko to Del and Del to Chennai as committed by your Staff.

            I have purchased airticket on 3rd of December from sxr to Auh from my debit card and on same day I have cancelled because the ticket provided to me was given wrong timings and details .I wa's been told by them that refund will happen within 10 days .but it's been more then 1 month nothing has happened and I have written to them more then 8 time's and several reminders but no response has been provided.this is pathetic and Un professional organisation which had lost the ethic of communication.

              I have cancelled the tickets due to schudle change by jet airways. And the revised timing was not feasible.

              I am eligible for entire refund and the same was also confirmed by the call centre, but I have just got the refund of 600 which is really disappointing and fraud way of dealing with customer.

              Even after following with customer care and through email I haven't got any reply. I want the full refund and the compensation for all the harassment I have ochecked go through by calling the call centre which takes minimum 30min to connect and send reminders.

              I can only say that this jet airline is cheater and promoting such promotion offers to get the funds and then they do schudle change and don't release the refund to the customer.

                I have given my suitcase while boarding pass and while scaning 20, 000 twenty thousand rupees have been taken out they were all 100 rupy notes please check ur cctv photage . my flight no.644 delhi to lucknow DATE:[protected]
                NAME:Vijay seth. Till now in any of my flight i have experienced this .This is the first flight in my life in which my money are stolen.. please take any strict action against this .. I had a very bad experience with JET AIRWAYS.

                  Dear sir/ maam,

                  I had booked a ticket for my mother aged 78 years and my sister aged 50 years on 4th october 2016 for 14th december 2016 for a travel from lucknow to mumbai via delhi. I was given a confirmed ticket wide gds pnr no ‘tr67k2’ and airlines pnr ‘bwnjls’ ticket nos.[protected]/1/1 and[protected]/2/1.
                  After booking my ticket about a week later i booked a wheel chair with jet airways for my mother as she is has walking issues due to the age factor.

                  On reaching the lucknow airport on 14th dec 2016 at 9.45 am (Flight 9w 647 sta 10.45 am) there was a major chaos regarding the scanning of the luggage as one of the scanners were not in working condition, when my sister asked for the boarding pass she was informed that there were no seats available for the wheel chair passengers and they were given a option to be rebooked on a direct flight from lucknow to mumbai 9w 0360 at 14.15 hrs. After much hue and cry between them and the jet airways staff regarding the waiting time they were offered a complimentary sandwich and a coffee for each, when my mother asked for water she was very rudely informed that they don’t provide water to the lay over passengers and she can go and purchase at their cost.
                  After waiting for a long again they were informed that the flight to

                  Mumbai is delayed and will take off at around 14.35 hrs but it was again delayed without any intimation and it took off at 3.06 pm. Then in the seat allotment my mother on wheel chair was allotted seat no 39d in which she had a major issues while de-boarding at mumbai at terminal 2, she had a problem as it was through a aerobridge from the front door.

                  I would just like to know why this chaos was created by the airlines when she was at the counter well in time and what is the use of booking a flight well in advance if a passenger aged 78 years has to go through this night mare and then refusal to provide water to have the medicines also.in the flight also the meals provided were more of a snack than a meal.

                  May i know why this decision was taken by jet airways to allot my seat to someone else and put my mother through this entire night mare without discussing or intimating her well in advance? If the same could have been intimated well in advance she could have reached the airport according to the new departure.

                  This is not expected from jet airways

                  I would like to state, the flight I was keen on booking was visible on other sites like make my trip and cleartrip but to my amusement was not listed on the official site of jet airways

                  Hence I called at their call centre number to help me out with the booking. The person at the call centre said there is such flight and I thought to book it instantly. He generated a PNR number (SKJRVH) and asked me to go online and book the ticket

                  I made my payment and the amount was deducted but due to Jet Airways system failure my receipt was not generated. Further to which I called again for the tickets and what I get is a mail from Jet airways that my ticket was not blocked and my amount would get reversed back to my account in 7 working days.

                  Today, it is 16 days, and I have not received my amount back. And what they say it, that my bank has blocked the amount, I wasted an Hour at my bank to enquire about the same and they said, the bank doesn't block any amount, if Jet airways has reversed the amount, it will be credited to my account directly. Further to which i Updated my passbook which has a debit entry to Jet airways and mailed to Jet Airways.. I am still waiting for their reply. These people don't even reply to customer's mail.

                  This type of service is not expected from Jet airways. Nor do have ample time to call them again and again

                  When I am willing to shell out some extra money by booking through jet airways officially and not doing the booking through make my trip etc, I expect a certain level of service, which unfortunately I did not find.

                    I was booking a flight from delhi to lucknow on 17th october 2016 to fly on 18th for 3 people (Ramneet samdhyan, vallipuram purushothaman and mathusoothanan arunakirinathan) so first time i used my sister credit card and your system said that the payment didnt go through and i tried a different credit card of my sister and with that card payment went through and ticket was been issued. But yesterday i was talking to my sister and she told me that jet airways charged both of her credit cards with the amount of 741 and 804 canadian dollars. Please check into your system and get back to me as soon as possible with my money. Looking forward for your reply. Thank you

                    I had the same issue as well!

                    We booked a ticket from London and out credit card got rejected for security. We spoke to our credit card company and booked the ticket again. Now Jet Airways have taken our payment twice!

                    When I spoke to Jet Airways on the phone, they gave me a mail id and asked me to send details. This is very odd because the guy asked me to put all my credit card details in the mail! Never heard a company ask this. I have not heard back yet!
                    Any advice would be most helpful.

                      I booked the ticket ob 03 dec 2016 through Dubai to Trivandrum. But the same date canceld the trivandrum flight. I travelled throug dubai - mumbai- trivandrum. I reached the mumbai I checked my one bag was missed. So far there is not updated from your side. As per your side maximum 14 days to be checked after that they consider as a lost. You will provide the compensation. Today thay said its extended 21 days. Due to short kindly solove this issue.

                      Note: the missing baggage inside a lot of valuable thinks.

                          I flew with JetAirways from New Delhi to Kolkata. When I received my check in luggage, the luggage was completely damaged. The zip was completely broken and some items were lost. I have lost items worth INR 7000. The airlines did not claim responsibility for the lost items. They just said that they will repair the bag, but they haven't yet. But what about the lost items? I require a compensation for it.

                            My baggage was withheld at the Bangalore airport due to powerbank on 6th Dec. I've signed the authorization letter to open the baggage and even provided the key. They promised to send the baggage to Mumbai (where I was travelling to) in the next flight. When I arrived at Mumbai and tried to collect my baggage via the phone number they gave me - no one picked up the call. I continued to follow up in Delhi on my baggage and even filed a missing baggage report at the Delhi airport. I was informed that Mumbai airport security need to open my baggage to remove the powerbank, which I don't understand since if they send it from Bangalore to Mumbai, it would have meant the powerbank has been removed. Nonetheless, I've sent email to [protected]@jetairways.com as requested to authorize that they have my permission to open the baggage to check/remove powerbank or whatever that's needed to give me my baggage (email reference ID=[protected]. And the standard response I've been getting since 7th Dec from the Jet Airways service agents is that no one is picking up the phone at the Mumbai airport. I find it very hard to believe that no one picked up the phone for 4 days. Now I'm back in Singapore (11th Dec) and still trying to follow up with no success. If anyone can help me look into this and advice what I need to do, who I can contact to get me my baggage back will be very much appreciated.

                              Our pre reserved tickets were sold or assigned to someone else and we were kept on hold saying the fight has been full. Due to this irresponsible action from jet airways I am late for my own marriage engagement along with my family. I on the other hand, with my family had to wait sitting on such uncomfortable chairs for 6 hours missing on my special day. My brother who has fracture, and was on wheel chair also was kept waiting in pain. I had my bookings in Indore for the occasion, all gone to waste as the engagement has to be postponed to tomorrow. About the services, jet airways can be so insensitive about the situation that In regard to our loss, we were not even offered a comfortable retire but a coffee and sandwich!!!

                                I am Suresh Rathi and i have booked ticket for a journey from Delhi to Port Blair vide PNR GFXYZN dated 07 Dec 16. Journey commenced as per scheduled however, the flight 9W759 could not land at Port Blair due to inclement weather. The flight returned to Chennai and passenger was told to stay at their own arrangement for 02 days. However my family returned to Delhi by another flight of Jet airways. My family faced a huge problems during stay at chennai airport and Delhi as I belonged to Muzaffarnagar, U.P. My family contacted your staff and was told that the amount from Chennai to Port Blair will be refunded. However the amount has not been refunded.

                                  My name is monika bhayani and i am searching a job by applying on online portals.
                                  Two days back i received a call from "carrer express" consultancy and informed that some recruitment is going on jet-airways for ground staff. They asked me to deposit a fee for online aptitude test of amount rs.1950/- (Refundable in 7 days). They conducted a online test and informed that i passed it. After that they asked me to again deposit rs.5800/- as a fee for background verification which is refundable in 7 days. I paid the both amount and the took my interview as jet-airways officials. Today they informed me that i got selected and asked for rs.14900/- as a security amount for joining and after paying it i will get my offer latter as per the below mail.

                                  Could you please confirm that this is the correct procedure of recruitment for jet-airways or it some kind of scam?
                                  Could you please confirm that the mail address from where i am getting all details is owned by airline itself?

                                  They are using the jet-airways name for sending a mail to the candidates which is i believe harmful to airline's reputation.
                                  If it is a fake then cloud you please initiate a necessary actions against the "career express" which may stop this kind of activity and do not use airline name in their illegal activities?

                                    I had to catch Jet Airways flight 9W-302 at 9:45 AM from DEL to BOM on 10th Dec 2016.
                                    I reached at the Airport at 8:40 at was in queue for checking in after waiting for so much time due to very slow movement of the queue and crowd I reached at the counter at 9:10 and the staff did not let me check in saying the flight is closed and they called out for Mumbai flight at 9:00 AM.
                                    I was there in the queue since 8:40 and there was no call out by the staff. They behaved very rudely and cancelled my flight stating “No Show” instead of guiding me to the gate to board they cancelled our ticket while we had enough time to get board as it is written over the ticket that 25 min prior gates will be closed. I was still having 30-35 minutes to board. The lady at the counter wrote 09:13 RT at my ticket which dont understand what is it. They said you can talk to your agent portal regarding the refund. I booked the ticket through “Clear Trip” portal and their customer care agent says they can’t process the refund as the ticket is cancelled by the airline mentioning “No show”.
                                    I need urgent intervention on this with for refund as it was the mistake by Jet airways staff, there was no callout at all and I was there on time. They who can refund the money and loss.
                                    We were 3 passengers and lost the total money.

                                      I have entered airport at 6.10-6.15 instead guiding me to the gate to board they started scolding us being late and cancelled our tkt while we had enough time to get board as it is written over the ticket tht 25 min prior gates will be closed.. i was still having 30-35 mnt to onboard and having web checkin done (i told them)
                                      i neeed urgent intervention on this with my money back
                                      details:
                                      I have booked three tickets on the above flights and reached at Terminal 1 as there is no information for Terminal and got late to reach at T-3 and could arrange at around 6.10 and asked for boarding pass and luggage submission. Lady sitting on the counter c asked me to reach at at the last counter due to late arrival I reached there and got a very bad treatment. that lady was literally shouting on passengers that its not there fault if we are late and money is wasted now with no further details for the adjustment or any next suggestion to get the flight I agree we got late but it was not mentioned anywhere where to get the flights of jet airways..
                                      next she sent us to reservation counter; met lady named Shilpika she was sooooooo much arrogant and misbehaving like anything.. this staff is so rude and she was not even allowing us to say anything. she didn't tell me that they can arrange something for us with less money loss but she has charged 13k apprx for next flight which could be done in 4-5 k (got to know from the other staff itself) even if I asked her that one other person is getting the same flight for 3 k around she said to mind your business and dnt compare urself with anyone else.. the way she was talking was ridiculous..Next I had to struggle a lot to get into a waiting room as the staff is busy and not available to arrange an exit for me. with a small kid I had to struggle to get the flight for 2 hours.. I m very much disappointed as I met a huge loss of around 18 k to save money we do booking mnths prior to the travel date but that staff is behaving like hell and as if we are their slave. They have provided wrong tickets for my kid two times and I only rush to them each and every time.. I m not happy and would like to get in touch with the higher authority for this.I should have been suggested for some other options.They are harassing ppl not helping them a person who missed his flight must be in tension already nd they were treating like this.I need some urgent action on this adn want my money back.

                                        I was supposed to be travelling in Jet Airways flight S2 4621 from Mumbai to Bhopal on 2 Dec 2016. I was not allowed to board the flight despite reaching before the time the gate closes. My allotted seat was 40 D and my e ticket number is[protected]. My friend who was travelling in the flight to attend a wedding alongside me told me that the flight departed 2 hrs late due to some ruckus created by a group of fellow passengers.

                                        Despite the delay i was denied entry to the flight and i suspect it was due to an overbooking issue. Due to this, not only did i lose my ticket fare, i also could not attend the wedding i was supposed to reach.

                                        In view of the circumstance, i demand at least full refund of my airline fare if not more for the inconvenience caused.
