I bought a Karbonn Mobile (Model K445) from Big C (Panjagutta, Hyderabad) on 18th Oct, 2009. After bringing it home, I kept it for charging. But even after 2 to 3 hours of charging, the phone did not get charged fully. The phone had a poor battery back up of only 2 hours. When I approached Big C to replace the phone, I was told that the phone can be repaired/replaced only at the Company's Authorised Service Centres. I tried calling the Service Centres the list of which was provided in the warranty card. But to my shock, none of the numbers was working. When I again approached Big C, they gave me the address of the Authorized Service Centre at Abids. I gave the phone to the Service Centre on 23rd Oct and I was assured that the problem will be resolved in 2 to 3 days. After 3 days when I went to the Service Centre, I was told that the handset has some mother board problem and needs to be sent to the Company. I was told that the handset will be returned in a week's time. Since then nearly 2 months passed by, the Service Centre people are repeating the same dialogue that the handset is sent to company and they did not receive any communication from them. I did not even use the mobile for one day and I'm regretting for making such a purchase. The response of the service centre people is also indecent towards the customers. Sometimes they are harsh and even use foul language for customers. I request Karbonn to return my handset as soon as possible and see that the Service Centre Contract is being given to decent people.
