Hi,

I was travelling from madikeri to banglore airport on 13th august 2018. By mistake i forgot to carry the hard copy of the ticket. But as a secondary evidence i had the photo copy of the ticket, ticket sms and the identity proof of mine.

But the conductor refused to accept any of these. And they made me to regenerate the ticket.

My question is
1) why they wanted the hard copy of the ticket

2) is the govt really going paper less

Adding to the above, I even spoke to Madikeri Ksrtc ticket counter ( where i recieved the ticket ) . But they refused to generate the duplicate copy .

      Hello.

      I travelled from tumkur to dharwad on 05.08.2017 in ksrtc non ac sleeper bus (F 1016). Pnr number is t71629048. As i didn't receive the bus number and contact number of the bus persons i had to call to the customer care at 9.34pm and got the bus number and conductor phone number. Then i called them at 9.36pm and asked the bus location. Immediately i started from kunigal.

      At 10.04 pm conductor called me and and they said they have reached the tumkur bus stand. I asked them i may need just 5 minutes to reach bus stand as i was just approaching tumkur. They said its not possible to wait for 5 minutes because we are already late, we will leave. I requested them to stay just 5 minutes and i had just entered tumkur city. The conductor said

      Talk to the driver and gave the call, but then he also said no no we cant wait, we are leaving. They were so rude, they just said we are leaving, we cant wait. Even though i requested them a lot but they just cut the call.

      Then i got worried as i was badly wanted to reach dharwad, at any cost i should not miss this journey. Then i called costumer care at 10.08pm and requested them to ask the bus to stay for few minutes as i was single lady traveling at night and i wont be able to catch up any other buses at late night. Thankfully the person who took the call called the bus person and he requested them to wait by telling its single lady traveling. They were not at all ready to listen to him also. By that time i had reached the bus stand and i was standing in front of the bus at 10.14pm.

      I called the conductor to inform my arrival, he started yelling at me on call itself, then he came to me and started fighting at the bus stand. He was upset because i gave complaint against them at customer care. Instead of starting the bus both conductor and driver were yelling and started talking nonsense to me infront of so many people. It was so embarrassing moment for a girl to stand in such a situation. They started bus at 10.21pm after all the drama on the platform.

      Was it so difficult them to wait for just few minutes?

      Don't they have the courtesy to wait for a single lady at night?

      Ksrtc people have made me to wait even 11.45pm at busstand when the boarding time was 10pm earlier times. When i was delayed by few minutes don't they have little patience and responsibility of their costumer?

      Felt so bad and sad for myself for booking ticket on irctc. I would prefer booking private buses now onwards.

      Such a bad experience of this time journey was never expected and it was horrible.

      I know they wont take any charge against bus conductor and driver because this time i got delayed. I apologize for that but that was not the way to behave to a customer and that too to a single lady at night in the middle of bus stand with lot of people around. It seems we should not raise our complaints against them as it provokes them to fight with us.

      At last they dropped me at dharwad at 4.30am before 30 minutes of actual arrival time was 5am. When they can drive bus at high speed, all that fighting was not necessary rather they would have waited for sometime.

        I am sridhara murthy, aged 68 years, a retired official from police department in bangalore city.

        Today around 7.15 am i was driving my qualis vehicle ka 23 p 4546 on bannerghatta road to forties hospital. Near bilekahalli in front of iim college, (Road is very narrow because of metro construction) the driver of ksrtc bus bearing regn. No. Ka-57-f-1826 (Airavat aclub class) over took my car from left side without giving any indication. Very narrow gap between my vehicle and the said bus. I stopped the bus and asked him why and what made to overtake in such dangerous manner he started complaining against my driving and when a passenger supported the driver, he (Driver) with conductor started shouting at me. Very sad. I would like to request to take suitable action against this staff and intimation of action is highly appreciated.

          The nanjangud bus stand was sifted to the new bus stand on the out skirts of the town. I would like to highlight the difficulties faced by the passanger:

          1. The new bus stand has not been concreted and there is dust when buses come & go. It is rainy season & very slushy.

          2. It was experimented few months back & found not viable due to poor response & loss incurred. The area is very lonely & causing difficulties to women folk, children & the elderly.

          3. Bus stand should cater to all people not only to devotees who actually board bus near the temple itself.

          4. People travelling are treated as prisoners who are forced to get down only at the new bus stand. The divisional controller was has ordered does not travel here.

          5. I think there is nexus between the ksrtc officials @ nanjangud and the auto who have started demanding exorbitantly.

          6. Every one is only cursing the officials of ksrtc for the illogical decision taken by the divisional controller. The old bus stand is located @ convenient spot which is centrally located to cater to residents, devotees & office goers.

          7. It is scary to go to the new bus stand when it is dark which is frequented by pick pockets, drunkards and other anti social elements.

          8. Was it not the duty of the officials of your esteemed organisation to analyse? It shows how decisions are taken & pathetic functioning of ksrtc @ nanjangud.

          9. People have to be treated with respect for travelling & tc's who come have no respect at all.

          10. The divisional controller has a lot of explaining to do & i hope the higher officials do a lot of damage control to minimize the hardships of the people & save money for the people.

          11. The buses have to stop at the old bus stand for residents & others.

          Ksrtc is a public service and not the private ownership of the divisional controller & other officials. I hope every thing is reverted back & things set right immediately.

            I am traveling from chintamani to bangalore in ka40 f 1328 bus number and its plying from chintamani-bangalore-tirupati and its chintamani depot bus when he started from chintamani he didnt said anything but once he reached indiranagar depot bus staff said to get down the bus and i asked y we need to get down we need to go majestic so bus condition is good u go to majestic but bus staff stopped the bus and demanded to go for other bus finally after so many discussions he arranged some on the way bus to majestic that bus coming from tirupati to mysore via bangalore it's a nagamangala depot bus after entering that bus i asked him to go towards corporation circle but conductor said we wont go and finally i get down in mysore bank and came back till corporation by walk with huge luggage so please warn bus staffs to cooperate with passengers and never repeat the mistakes like this and take necessary action against them...

              Respected md sir,

              I would like to report a inconvenience faced during journey on 30th july 2018 in a ksrtc bus. I was traveling in a ac sleeper from saligrama to bangalore (Bus number:ka193358, pnr: j[protected], bus broke down around 10:30pm. There was delay of more than 2hours to provide alternate bus (It was semi sleeper instead of sleeper) due to lack of communication between respective departments. Conductor did not pass the passenger details to the alternative bus, which caused lot of confusion and chaos. When i entered the alternative bus which was provided conductor told me that your pnr is not present here. You cannot sit in this bus. He threatened me, there will be complaint if you sit in this bus. Even i had a valid ticket it was created by pure miscommunication between the employees of that department. Being a woman passenger in the middle of the night when i can go? Was this type of service is expected from ksrtc? Many passengers were not allowed from previous bus because of irresponsibility of the conductors.

              I expecting stringent actions on the officials responsible for this. I will be taking up this issue to consumer court and mahila ayog.

                The toilets in all the ksrtc and bmtc bus stop is not clean and they charge the amount for using the toilet for urinals, if they are keeping the toilet clean then paying the money no problem but why do we need to pay money for unhygienic toilet it smell a lot.

                Where does the collected money goes?

                There is no accountability of the money collected as there is no proof since there is no bills or tokens generated.

                  Hubli to bangalore bus number 03920 started at 8.30 pm from hubli old bus stand. Reached at 5.30 am at bangalore.

                  1. Bus didn't go inside majestic bus stand. Instead parked atleast 0.75 km away, somewhere opposite metro station. Old people found it very difficult to cross the road with luggage. Not to mention, the rash driving at that time due to no traffic lights.

                  2. Conductor never asked for change as the bus came near bangalore. All were sleepy. So the change amount written on the ticket is gone!!

                  3. A mere warning or memo would close the case. But that's not the solution. Ksrtc volvo buses have high rating for customer service. But for sarige???

                      Hello
                      I have booked the airavata club class from bangalore to kundapura on 26/07/2018. Pickup time was 21:00 hrs but i was picked up at 22:15. Bus was already late by 1hr 15 mins. I asked the conductor for the reason. He said that two buses trip were combined. There was no information from ksrtc regarding the trip combining. On top of that these drivers are loading 3rd party lagauges from channapatna to udupi, kundapura and other places and didn't have concern about bus timing and passengers. It will almost takes 11 to 12 hours journey from bangalore to kundapura via shiradi ghat.. On what purpose we should choose ksrtc?

                        I caught a ksrtc bus plying from mangalore to bangalore around 6:15pm today. My journey was only till b. C road. Usually the ticket costs rs 35 till b. C road. Me and another female passenger paid rs 35 but the conductor refused to give us the tickets. When we asked, he just smiled and said "not required. You just sit" in tulu. I told him that if the officials come to check, then he has to pay the fine. We won't be responsible for not getting the tickets. He smiled again and told that he will manage. I have noted down the vehicle number. It is ka.19f.3445. I couldn't note down his name as he did not wear a badge. He was lean and quite tall physically. Please take action against this conductor.

                          On the date of 20th july 2018 travelled from majestic to chintamani bus number ka 40 f 902. He dint come on begha mahal stop he came through ulsoor lake what about passengers standing near begha mahal stop manysengers were waiting near byappanahalli metro he dint give stop and in kr puram stop also many people were looking bus and showed hand but also not stopped. Why this happen cant you take any serious action

                            The conductor misguided me as the age criteria for full ticket is 12 years but my sister is 10 years old. On asking me he told that's what his department had told him and didn't give me a half ticket instead gave me full ticket. The conductors should definitely stop misguiding the public. He wasn't even wearing a badge to represent his name. Bus route : banshankari to Malleshpalya.

                              The bus driver and the conductor have stopped the bus in between in national highway and they are sleeping. Like is this even real?? Are there no one taking care of passengers safety? This driver has stopped the bus in national highway 67. Wtf is this?? Aren’t we supposed to talk?? There are only few passengers and so they thought of sleeping in between I guess. I understand they might have been tired but this is not acceptable. And I don’t even think someone will look into this ### up matter. Please kindly take some action.

                                I found bus number KA48F957 Airavat ksrtc bus driving very rash on the highway near Dharwad around 10:35am on 18th July 2018. He was not following any lane discipline and was driving as if he is in a race. I called the Saundatti bus depot to report but to my surprise nobody picked the call even after 4 attempts. The depot office should be open by 10:30am. I don't know how things work in government office. I am upset.
                                I'm student who is travelling from Bangalore to mulbagal from 6 am I'm waiting in bus stand in bhatrahalli one bus came Bangalore to mulbagal
                                Ka 07 f 1717 bus number I said to stop by swinging my hand but bus not stopped if I go late in collage they will bang me like anything I want answer bus number is ka 07 f 1717
                                I get in NWKRTC bus in Tumkur bus stop at 6 evng of 24.07.18. but it time taken for travelling from tumkur to chitradurga nearly around 3.15 min. Driver and conductor has wasting so much of time. Please direct to both of the employee.

                                  I have booked one ticket through KSRTC Online booking, but the transaction got failed two times and my money got deducted from credit card of Rs.2096/-. I had given complaint to ksrtc online refund department. Online transaction reference number is OB32097689, OB32098030, OB32098287, OB32098404, OB32098583, OB32098814, OB32098949, OB32099823, OB32103364, OB32103754, Date of booking is 06/07/2018. Almost 10 days completed my amount not yet refunded. My ksrtc login id is jsiddappa. Please help me to get refund amount to my acount.

                                    Drivers of all Airavatha Club class, Diamond class etc. are stopping vehicles for tiffin, lunch n dinner in Nandi Food Plaza which is situated in between Bangarupalyam and Chittoor. The quality of the food is not at all good in the said hotel. Even the attenders in the said hotel are not cooperative. If we ask the Drivers, they will say that KSRTC has entered into a contract along with the said hotel and they have to stop the vehicle there only. Drivers stops the vehicle only for 15 minutes within which passengers should finish their lunch; however there are no servers in the said hotes who will serve quickly and it is a self service hotel. On 8.7.18 we booked return ticket from Tirupathi to Bangalore at 4.37 pm in Airavatha Club Class. However, instead of Airavatha Club Class, Airavatha Diamond Class ( Tirupathi- Bangalore- Shimoga - Vehicle No. KA-57-F-1650) arrived and we had to board in that vehicle only. The suspension of the said vehicle was very bad and we were feeling that we are traveling in Karnataka Sarige. Though TV is installed in the vehicle, the Conductor was reluctant to switch on the TV. The said vehicle was stopped near the above said hotel at 6.30 pm for dinner, though it is not a dinner time. There are several other good hotels in that route. But we do not understand as to why the KSRTC has entered into the contract with that dirty hotel. We have to understand what is the interest the KSRTC has got in entering conyract along with the said hotel. Drivers should stop the vehicle for tiffin, lunch n Dinner at the proper time wherever the are. After charging a handsime fare, the KSRTC is not doing any justice yo the passenger.

                                      Dear Ksrtc,

                                      I booked a sleeper seat from Kasargod to Bangalore with followong details - ksrtc

                                      KSRTC Bus : PNR :J71179529, Journey Date :08-Jul-2018 21:00, Trip Code :2100KSGBNG, Bus Number :f 840, Depot :BENGALURU 1 and Seat number is 16.

                                      This sleeper seat was dirty with full of snacks on it and smelling badly. No one clean the sleeper bed side.
