Hi,

I have recently changed my cooler pump (Cooler Model: Kenstar Slimline) through the contact information of Kenstar services.

The person who changed the cooler for 1000 rupees was Anil (Mobile:[protected] and confirmed that will replace the pump again if there are any issue within one year.

I am calling him for last 2 months that the new installed pump is not working and he keep on saying that he will come to see very soon. Now he has stopped picking up the call.

Could you please look into the issue and get hold of this guy why he not responding to the complaint?

    Sir,

    I have kenstar Microwave in my home & i didnt know that kenstar donot provide after sales service in india. i have registered 2 complaints since last 10 days. Nobody has turned up nor any call received from their side.I have traced around two dozen contact nors just to get the service done but none of them have so far solved the problem. I have committed sin by purchasing kenstar products & for forgiveness, i kindly request indian authorities to BAN/BLACKLIST Kenstar on India soil.

    Kenstar Microwave — Totally unserviceable

    Purchase a Kenstar Microwave Oven on 19.08.2008 from Next Retail Shop Faridabad vide Bill No 528026. While in service become bad on 28.12.2008. Inform to Next Retail Shop. They registered a complaint on 03.01.2009. Service Engineer Visited on12.01.2009. he said that it will replaced totally.
    after some time a phone came from company that the model no mentioned in bill is incorrect. First get connrected it from Next then call us. i approacehd the Next Shop. they replied that all the bill had been sent to oir Mumbai office. They are just taking time so that warranty expired.

    requested to help me.

    Kenstar Microwave — improper service

    I have purchased Kenstar microwave in diwali offer at Jammu.After six month his sensor was not working properly.At the same time due to transfer I shifted from Jammu to Jhalawar, Rajasthan.After shifting I approached nearest dealer of Kenstar(NEXT) to solve the problem.This dealer repaired the microwave through M/s SYSTEM ELECTRONICS& REFRIGERATION, KOTA by changing the main PCB, Convection Pully, Belt and charges Rs 2120/-.But within a month same problem again arises I again complained but he is not repaired till date.Therefore I am going to Consumer court for justice.

      Sir, I regret to write this complaint against a trustworthy company as Kenstar. I had purchased Kenstar Microwave Oven 25ACF, amounting to Rs 8, 300.00, on 08/05/2008. The product started developing problems within a fortnight. At first the machine would'nt start, which was fixed after repeated complaints. Then again the problem surfaced within a month of "repair", which was again fixed after repeated complaints. Then there was a certain door malfunction, which took around a month for diagnosis, which was "fixed" as well. Then the internal light would not glow, which was again fixed. In April 2009, a faulty convection system was detected. We were adviced not to use it until it was repaired.Till now, even after scores of complaints, it has not been fixed yet.
      I humbly request the due authorities to look into the matter and act at the earliest.

      I, Joby John had brought a microwave oven(model-OM-25 ACF ; serial no:V25FJ07052) on[protected]. I would like to bring to your notice that right from the guarantee period got over, its functioning got disrupted. Firstly there was a complaint with the transformer and we had to spend about 2500 rs/-.Now again there is a complaint with the switch board they say. We are asked to replace it which costs about 1200 rs/-. they said its because of an insect...if an insect is inside the switch board it is of course the manufacturing defect!!! I think i would get another one than repairing this..immediate response is appreciated...thanking you,

        sir, please take necessary steps to do repair work. I bought top loading kenstar waching machine from kumbakonam. I made madras call office for repair and replaced it. but so far service person came and taken it to madurai, but returned it not even say actual response but he told me he would take exchange rate.           Just thought to enlighten those innocent souls who have plans to buy kenstar karishma food processor...plzzz dont ever make the mistake of even thinking to buy this product...Had received this piece of junk as my marriage gift..which is lying in my kitchen as a momento.
          It never worked from day 1...and call to their customer care was no much help...its the worst product that I have come across...

            I have done mistake by purchasing kenstar ac. my ac blower motor was not working. engineer from there authorise service center came to my office and promise that motor will be replace in 2 or 3 working days but now 10 days are gone there is no response from there side whenever i call them they just say that WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED MOTOR FROM THE COMPANY...room tempr is 40 degree and and i think so that they will not replace the motor in this season

              During the Trade Fair of 2007 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, I had booked one Multi Processor (Model No. MF 0204) and the same was delivered to me on[protected] by your dealder 'M/s. Lakshmi Kitchen Plaza, 17, Central Market, Ashok Vihar, Delhi - 110052 vide invoice bearing Book No.17 and Serial No.1662 dated[protected]. It has abruptly stopped working. It is within warranty period. I have tried to contact your service centre on the contact numbers provided in the booklet but the said numbers do not exist. Due to non-functioing of aforesaid Food Processor, I am facing lot of poblems in preparing my dails food items. Please send some body to repair/rectify it.

                Sir,

                I bought kenstar slimline air cooler on 11th april 2009.
                Cooler is always giving problem since starting.
                I face first problem after 1 & half month. cooler was not swinging.i made the complaint at
                customer care of kenstar and problem was rectified within a day.
                I again face the problem that pump of cooler was stopped working.
                I called up kenstar and and got the reply that within 24 hrs problem will be resolved.
                I again called them up after 24 hrs then tey said it will take another 24 hrs.
                i again called them up after 24 hrs then they said we have already forwarded your complaint and asked
                me to wait for some more time. it took one more day.
                Finally they said that they can not do any thing and asked me to call service centre.
                I called up servise centre and have got the reply that pump is not available with them so they can not do any thing but within a day they will got the pump and will replace it.
                I was very irritated and told them that i'll go to the consumer court.
                They said whatever you want to do you can do but we are helpless.

                Whole matter took around a week time and i called them up around 20 times. After that guy came and replaced the pump.

                Pump worked for two days and now again its burnt and not working.

                I again registered the complaint at kenstar customer care and have got the same reply that their guy will
                come within 24 hrs to resolve it.

                I have been fed up with the services & product of kenstar.
                I want this complete cooler to be replaced or money back.

                Kenstar — Cooler Complaints

                I have purchase a Kenstar Cooler (model- slimline) from Croma FAridabad.
                The pump of the cooler is not working. Regard of the complain made at Croma on 14/06/09 no action is taken.

                  Hi,

                  I have purchased a Kenstar room cooler with model slim line in the month of April '09,
                  In the month of May its pump stop functioning and when i compalined on there customer care centre than they told me that it will take 24hrs and by that time our service engineer will be there to check it but no bosy responded for the next 3 days and then after rigrous calling and all service engineer come and told me that pump need to be replaced and it will be replaced in another day as rite now pump is out of stock and than again no body turned up for next 3 days and on 4th day somebody come and repalces the pump and that to after calling me them again and again .
                  Now again in the month of June again the same problem occur again the pump got burnt and now when I again compaint no body came for 4 days and after that the pump is replaced in next 1 week.
                  So when I asked the service engineer what is the maater why this big name company usses such low quality pump he gave me ans I cant say' humko jo milta hai hum wahi lagate hai'.

                  After this what my conclusion is now the cooler is in waaranty so i compaint everymonth the pump gets rreplaced so once the warranty is over i have to spend more tahn 2000 everymonth to replace this pumo.
                  Its better to go for some road side local company instead of these big name company who uses low quality product and dont gve proper customer response.

                  I recommend nobody should ake Kenstar cooler thy r of no use.

                    I had purchased Kenstar Food Processor in the year 2003 from Sringar Home Appliances in Bangalore. The base of the jar ( The part where the blades are mounted ) has got damaged and the jar is now not seating & locking properly. Water is leaking and entering the motor. This jar was given to the dealer for replacing the base about 4 weeks back. The dealer now says that the spare is not available and asks us to buy a new jar costing Rs. 750/-. Will somebody from KENSTAR take this matter seriously and see to it that the dealer gets the spare and the problem is sorted out.

                    we baught kenstar food processor few years back. Now the plastic ring which fixes the jar to the machineis damaged, new one is not available with the dealer . please let me know from where can i buy it as i m not able to use my mixer properly.

                      the cooler is not worked for more than a week after puirchase in april-may 09. june 11th ilidged a complaint with your toll fre number. i waited... nobody attended. Then again complaint registerd freshly on 29th . Assured to attend within 24 hrs. but morethan 48 hrs passed. nobody is seen. after paying about 6000 Rs, i could not use it in this summer.
                      so pl. take this seriously and attend at the earliest

                        when the oven is kept at 80oC, the material (fruit sample of oil palm) gets burned. since this is the only oven in our department we could not carry forward the research work( we are from nation al research centre for oil palm, pedavegi, Elur-Jengareddyguden road, west godawari dist, andhra.
                        pl. do attend urgently. i have bitter experience reg. your service for my water cooler which onlu two moths old and worked not more than week. for that i lodged complaints twice. but to no response from your side.

                          I bought kenstar mixer grinder 5 months back. I have faced the problem last month and it got rectified. Again I am facing the same problem. I am trying to contact customer service numbers. But numbers are not working. Please letme know the customer care contact numbers.
                          I have a mixer grinder Kenstar Stallion MG0411DX which is dead told by the service man. But he cant take any action to walk up.
                          2 years back i purchased 2 jar kenstar mixer grinder.i was very much satisfied with the chutney jar performance.recently the blades of this jar started expanding towards the walls of the jar and break.i approached the vendor with this complaint as no repair shop was able to rectify this problem atleast by replacing the blade.that vendor sent the jar to the respective service center and got the blade replaced by charging me Rs.50/-.but to my disappointment with the first use itself the blade again broke.
                          i request to suggest proper solution to my problem

                            Dear Sir / Madam,
                            I have purchased a kenstar multiprocessor model no. MF0808 on 15/02/09 from big bazaar, chinchwad, Pune which has a warranty for 2 years but till today the jar bush had got damaged 3 to 4 times & every time we do complaint with your customer care they send engineer & he changes the bush every time but again the same problem is repeated. I expect that you will take a permanent action on this issue & waiting for your reply as soon as possible.

                            We are also having problem with this model..when we turn on the mixie it didn't start...we went to a repair shop then it worked...again its not working...now we really got fed up with repairs and lost hope on this...unfortunately we lost the warranty card also :(

                              I purchased a Kenstar slimline cooler on 4-06-09 vide receipt no 17/1660 from Kohli Bros 13-A Prahlad Market DB gupta Road Karol Bagh. Its water level indicator was not woking since begining. After a week pump stopped working. Complaint lodged at custoner care[protected]. no body attended. Next time complaint No.DEL[protected] was given and it was told that some body will come in 24 hours. No body came. After persuation on some other Nos one person came third day. He told pump is to be replaced but pumps are not in stock and will be replaced on saturday. Today is Saturday. Nobody came .on Contacting they are teliing pumps are not in stocke and will be replaced next week.Is it belivable that pumps are not in stock in Delhi.Now a days when the temparature is 43&44 C see how difficult it is to live without cooler.
                              Can some one help me.
                              i had purchased kenstar coller in june.after some days its pump stop working and level indicator also jam.i asked shopkeeper to help.instaed of replacing it he gave me customer care num.I lodged a complaint and after 2 days person visit and checked it.and asked me to re place the pump.and said right now pump not in stock.is this a bloody mnc comapny that pumps are not in stock even in delhi.but after few days he replacet it.but after sometime it also not working.i lodged complaint again on 20-08-09.person visit and said pump is dead.and right now pump not in stock.its already a week ago.and i have recieved any call from their side for help.and when i call again i heard the same answer.so i suggested the other one who want to purchase any kenstar product please not to purchase.as service is very poor.and customer care persons also not spek well.

                                I had purchased a Kenstar Washing Machine from Harsha's, Mangalore 1 1/2 years back which I have been using sparingly. I had registered a complaint regarding draining of water with M/s. Harsha's, M'lore on 6.5.2009, in turn they referred me to the service center. But till now there is no response or action taken . They are not giving any authentic reply. One reply is that there are no spare parts available. What am I supposed to do? I want either my washing machine repaired or replaced. Kindly give a favourable reply.

                                The washing machine I had purchased had water draining problem for which I had lodged a complaint 1 1/2 months ago with M/s. Harsha's, Mangalore, from where I had purchased the washing machine. My compalint is yet to be attended to . The reason they are giving is that there are no spare parts (a Spring attached to the drain pipe) available. This is what I got the reply once and later on they refuse to give any authentic reply for my complaint whenever I make further enquiries. From the service centre also I get the same reply. What am I supposed to do? Either the Company has to replace the spare part or the washing machine. I cannot afford to spend money again on it, since I have purchased the washing machine just 1 1/2 years back and have used it sparingly

                                  First of all I agree with one of the complainants in this forum that in spite of saying in their website:

                                  "Kenstar also recognizes the importance of after-sales service to the consumer. Which is why, we are constantly engaged in enhancing the level of consumer satisfaction - a truly demanding task in itself. Our strong back-office support, the Kenstar Service Department has developed a unique module of service that enables consumer attendance in less than 24 hours, starting from the time a complaint is launched in any part of the country"

                                  - there has been no response till date to my complaints though it is more than one year since I first complained.

                                  I purchased my Kenstar Air Cooler from Next Electronics in Visakhapatnam, and within two weeks, water started leaking, and also started giving electric shocks. I called up the dealer, who instructed me that the service agent would immediately attend to it. In spite of several reminders, nobody attended to it, and later, when there was no response even after 4 months, I contacted him again to find out that his number has changed !!! When I went there and complained, he gave me a number and asked to contact there for service. After I contacted there, I was asked to contact another number and this went on for more time. In between I was called up by a service agent who told me that I would have to shell out 500/- for service, and when I pointed out that the warranty period still existed, she said she would call back and left it at that for more time. I contacted Hyderabad office, and they gave another number to call, and after complaining, I got a call back on May 19th (coincidentally exactly one day after the warranty expired) and the lady again told me that I would have to dish out 500/- for service, and did not agree to any arguments. Even after I agreed, I am still waiting for the service agent to come. The end result is that I have an air cooler at home that does not work and we just exhibit it in spite of such a hot summer.

                                  I really think that if Kenstar cannot keep their word, it is best they stop sales rather than cheat people like this. I regret having bought this product, and have tried my level best and am still in the process succesfully of stopping all the people I know from buying any of their products, and I will continue to do the same.

                                  product is good but i am sure about the service. i have a split but i dont know the service centre. I want my AC serviced.

                                    Sir,
                                    I reside in Bangalore(K.R, Puram). I have kenstar Aircooler in my home. I calledup your service centre they gave me one complaint number(PAN[protected]). But never recieved any service. Past 1week, I am calling the service centre everday, but in vein. Problem faced is the cooler fan is rotating very slow, even at 'High'. Nobody has turned up nor any call received from their side. I have committed sin by purchasing kenstar products & for forgiveness, i kindly request indian authorities to BAN/BLACKLIST Kenstar on India soil.

                                      i own a kenstar microwave oven model no.OM29ECF which has sum problem and its is sparking and so the unit is not useable and besides enormous calls to the service centre and the complaints registered with them for more than 14 days today the matter is unresolved and they say dat they dont have the required parts for the same. i mean they are unable to arrange for the specific parts for so long and they are not even able to answer when would the specfic part arrive and they also say it take more than a month or so.

                                      i purchased kenstar microwave 34ECR on 11.04.05..the phone numbers of service centers given in the owner's manual are ALL FAKE..
                                      my microwawe is not in working condition. i think it may be foulty.

                                      I purchased amicrowave from Das electicals eastst/pune on3/11/2002 under serial.no.3urj00175. This oven isconvection/grill/oc-34ecr. it was working without any problem and now the turntable is not rotating so we can't use it. I approched the Daa electric co.pvt.ltd inwanorieshowroom and met Miss.supuirsa and she took the complaint and told me it will be reparied in 48 hours.
                                      I also learnt that the co is in the last days and it will be closed. In that case where I should approach for repair?

                                      I have purchased one" Kenstar" Microwave oven; Model No.OM 30DCE and Sl.No.[protected] from Spenser Super Market, while I was working in Railways at visakhapatnam, in the year 2008. I have shifted my residence from Visakhapatnam to Kozhikode, Kerala during 2010, after my retirement from service.

                                      This Micro wave oven has been sparingly used since its purchasing.However, this oven started malfunctioning, and Timer cannot be adusted, and approached the service center of the Kenstar through SMS to SVC during the moth of Oct 2010.. The technician from Calicut service ceter came and tried to set right oven, but in vain. He tolld me that the PCP of the oven reqired replacement and he removed PCP and carried to the service center for ordering the new one from the company. According to the technician he could not rectify the fault for want of spare part. He could not replace the spare parts due to the nonavailability of the same at Service center/company.

                                      I tried to approach higher officials of Kenstar through the E-Mail shown in ther web sight, [protected]@kenstar-appliances.com, [protected]@videoconservices.com ( Kenstar is a Videocon group) etc, but e-Mail sent to these addresses are not being acceted.

                                      How this manufacturer can escape from the resposibilities of ensuring the availability of required spare parts at least for a period of 5 to 10 yrs after introducing to the model in market?.

                                      Kenstar is unable to ensure required spare parts even after a lapse of more than 3 months after registering the complaints.I spoke with:

                                      i have spoken the matter with the service manager of the Kenstar at kozhikode, but in vain.I am unable to contact higher authorities of the company

                                      What it would take to resolve this:

                                      The PCP of the oven should be eiher replaced or rectified by a factory trained technician. It appears to be a minor snag in the electronic circuit.

                                        I had purchased Kenstar water cooler MOdel SD 0434 from Ahluwalia Electronics, 151 HUda market Sector 56 Gurgaon on 20/04/2008. Just after 2 month water pump stops working. As That time it was in warrenty they replaced it. But again on 10/06/2009 water pump stops working but as 1 year warrenty had croosed they are asking for charges. They are many compaint about the water pump for ken star cooler.I think it is very bad quality product and is due to inherent design fault hence company should replace it free if charge. I want to pull this comany in consumer court. Please advise

                                        I think this company is really not serious about customer's complaints. I purchased their Air cooler and it is not cooling from day one and this cooler is leaking also.
                                        I have complained about this three times and have been following on thsi from 1 month, but all in vain.

                                        So I think, the company really needs a legal action from all suffering customers, I am planning for a law suite and suggest that you also do same.
