Hi,
I am the user of kent RO since last one year.
15 days ago I requested to the conpany for my RO service. The service man came and changed the required parts and we paid the service amount too. But now more than 15 days gone but TDS is not going down we called the customer care many times but not getting proper response. As service man suggested to drain the water 5-6 days, we did but still we are unable to drink the purify Water.

      I purchased a Kent RO in Guwahati in 2020 and asked for servicing last week. I was allotted case id[protected] . No one came for servicing but I received a SMS message that my case has been resolved. I reported this immediately to the customer care number and I was given a lame excuse that the message was sent due to some technical mistake. Again I was given a fresh case id[protected] and was promised servicing within 24-hours. Again as usual no one came for servicing and again SMS message came that my case has been successfully resolved.
      I want to know from Kent why such fraudulent messages are being sent and why they are not providing servicing to customers even after charging and promising them to provide servicing. I also want to know why I should not seek legal remedy against them through consumer protection forum. I want to know the names and addresses of those people who are giving these false messages and receiving servicing charges fraudulently and what action has the management of KENT RO taken against them . And above all I want my servicing done as soon as possible.

        Complaint Reference no.: Reference Id 339127

        I am a senior citizen and I am cheated by Kent and the Om Shanti Enterprises, Kandivali, Mumbai.

        I am a owner of Kent RO water purifier (prime model). I had registered through Kent in July 2021 and this complaint was forwarded to Ms.Om Shanti Enterprises, Kandivali, Mumbai (Owner Mr Prem Gogalia) and 3 of its internal candles or cylinders were replaced. Subsequently there was problem with the water purifier on November 23rd 2021 and I registered the complaint once again ([protected]@kent.co.in and [protected]@kent.co.in). The service engg Mr Vivek Yadav came and tried to convince me of the advantages of the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) saying that everything including parts will be taken care of in the AMC. I entered into an AMC after paying Rs.2500/-.
        While leaving my place after the payment was done Mr Vivek Shetty says that we will take care of only the electrical parts not the entire Kent machine. So immediately I said if that is so then I would like you cancel the AMC. This is cheating ; at first he said all parts will be covered in AMC and in 15 mins once he received my payment your engineer say just the opposite.
        He requested me to speak to his Boss Mr Prem regarding the refund and cancellation of AMC.
        I immediately sent an email dated 24th November 2021 and called on your number[protected] on the same day and thereafter more than 10 times. I spoke to Mr. Ashish and Mr Rajput and so on.. Besides that I have sent 4 mails and all that I am being replied through mail or your call centre is "we are looking into the matter and will be resolved immediately.
        Subsequently December 13, I was introduced to Mr. Deepak (your Regional Manager in Mumbai Mobile [protected]), and he said "the amount will be returned to you immediately."
        Today is the18th of December and I have not received any solution nor my amount of Rs.1700/-
        On 16th December there was one more attempt by your service centre Om Shanti Enterprises to cheat me. I had not registered any complaint and the service engineer Mr. Sunil lands up at my place saying he has been told to service my Kent machine. This is really shocking. I am a senior citizen and this is increasing my stress levels. I feel I should registered an FIR and suit the company for cheating a senior citizen.
        I request you to seriously look into the matter and investigate the cheating that is going on in this region.

        I too am the owner of a Kent ro machine. I am also facing problems with Om Shanti enterprise Kandivali.
        On 29 April 2022 technician from Om Shanti came to my place to resolve low flow issue.
        he convinced me to enter into an AMC which I did. this was supposed to include all filters including the carbon filters which he did not have with him at time of visit.
        he replaced other filters and promised to return next day to replace carbon filters.
        many phone calls later on 29 May 2022 a technician from Om Shanti appears at my door saying he has come to replace the carbon filters.
        When I checked the filters they were DUPLICATE - NOT MADE BY KENT. When I questioned the technician about this he had no answer. He then called his supervisor who wouldn't talk to me, instead he told the technician to try and convince me by telling me that filters have come in a packed box etc... Obviously I sent him away without changing the filters.
        there after I contacted kent customer care with this complaint. The person who answered could not resolve this issue and told me that her supervisor would call me within a few hours...no one has called yet.
        Wil wait for another 2 days then will seek advice from consumer forum how to proceed further with this.
        attached are pictures of duplicate carbon filters that Om Shanti tried to install im my machine...
        They clearly don't have any regard for the health of their customers who have put their trust in them.

            I have purchased Kent in February 2020 and many times services done by executive of kent, I have changed filter in March 21 and cost of filter was Es.3250/- today I have made complaint after not functioning of kent, your executive visited and said you have to change all filter and its cost is Rs.3750/- and he also said you have to change filter every year.cost of new kent is approx 12000 and every year cost of filter is 7000 this is not justifiable.

              Dear sir

              Today I called the dealer for service of my Kent purifier, he serviced properly but charged me 300 extra as service charge. My purifier is under free service period but he said it is only if you booked online through App for service.
              This is fourth time service has been done through the dealer on call as my parents were on home alone, and they didn't enquiry much about the service charge and not using smart phone to lodge service complaint through APP. Is this necessary to use smart phone to purchase your company's product?

                Kent grand + amc by sun services nagerbaxar kolkata.no service no response by amc provider.tecjnician coming after 14/21 days of compplaint.unable to. resolve problem even after 3 serviices.buying 2 cans everyday.poor quality.no filter working.daily problem recurring .

                  Servicing not done

                  I have call for servicing of Kent RO but the service engineer did not visit inspite that I received the message that Your request is resolved . After that I again contact customer care . After that The service engineer deputed, who did not visit, call me and misbehaved with us over phone.
                  And also I didn't get the service yet....

                  Service contract fees & consumable are too high

                  Being a customer, I would like to notice that AMC of KENT RO & it's consumables are too high, which suggest us rather than taking AMC it's better to purchase New machines every alternate year. Since KENT charging very heavily likewise other AMC providers are also charging with hefty amount by not using genuine spares.
                  Being the market leader KENT should need to do some R & D that consumers should not have to bear more than 3 % of...

                  We have requested kent for service, the service guy replaced ro filter and the bill was 2900, we have paid the transaction through phone pay but it was showing in processing state . He asked cash since he has not recieved through phone pay, we have given the cash. But later money deducted from account. But he is refusing to transfer extra amount . We have multiple discussion with kent branch manager but bobody is giving my money back .

                  Its fraud company dont buy this product .

                    Dear sir,

                    I have read quite a lot about your efforts to make KENT
                    what it is today.

                    It was happy going for customers till a few years,
                    But now there is something rotten in the State of
                    Denmark (KENT!)

                    May I narrate my Experience : ( I am a Senior Citizen with reasonable means
                    but not rich enough to maintain a KENT RO)

                    Doc 1 refers to purchase of KENT PEARL FROM Riya Impex in 2017

                    Doc 2 refers to the maintenance bill by your authorized service franchisee! September 2018

                    Doc3 refers to the bill provided by Safe RO systems (I am perplexed how they
                    Jumped in into the fray while my call always was for Customer care. This was on June 2021.

                    Now within 5months of spending Rs.5500/= we noticed some droplets at the base
                    We called Kent customer care on 17th Nov 21 under reference[protected].
                    The engineer from A-One Service visited us on 20 Nov 21. He said the base leak is due to blockage
                    Of RO filter elements and pump also is damaged and both has to be changed at a high cost.
                    I protested and said within five months this cannot happen. The engineer then said ok: I will
                    Change the pump on payment of 2700/= and about filter you can go to whomever changed it
                    as it was duplicate and fake.
                    I was not convinced with the explanation of this engineer because if the filter was blocked
                    there still was free flow of water! ( If he was clever he should have said filter is not removing
                    the minerals). Even about the pump I was not convinced. So I told him to assemble everything
                    and give me the system back as it was given to him.
                    He did so and demanded service charge which I refused because there was no customer service.
                    I told him his company only changed the pump. (DOC 2 ) He said the warrantee is only for 3 years.
                    He asked me to share the OTP for satisfactory completion. I told him since I was not satisfied
                    with the service, I am not prepared to share the OTP.

                    Then I send whatsapp to the fake kent filter supplier ( Safe RO systems whose bill is (DOC 3) which I reproduce below.

                    Kent A O service says the above filters are duplicates.
                    Replace them immediately otherwise we will report the matter to concerned authorities.

                    Anyway question is whether your filter is duplicate.

                    Incase I am not reach in technician I am refund in your filter amount sir.

                    1 Almost a week no information. In any case I am not interested in his refund.
                    2 The crux of the matter how a fake filter maker comes when I called Customer care ?
                    3 Why The mechanic who came from A one Service was bent upon changing lock stock and barrel. The
                    Approach was more to make some quick money than customer service.
                    4 There are wheels within wheels in Kent fully making use of loop-holes somewhere.
                    Your website customer comments are full of this same story and it is time in the interest
                    of aged customers like us a drastic overhauling is done before the cancer spreads all over.

                    In the meanwhile what I should I do Sir?

                      Worst services by Kent. I think local purifier company give better service than Kent.
                      Iam ordered Kent purifier in flipkart.
                      My installation due date is 4 dec 2021.the agent called me on 4 dec 2021 and said he will come by evening. Even I am cancelled by doctor appointment and wait for him. Iam waited for him and called 4 to 5 times he didn't answer. The unresponsive company and agent.
                      When I call to Kent RO customer care even customer will not talk. Only bot will talk and it will say your complaint will solved by 48hrs.

                          I am using your purifier since 5-6 years. I have to pay atleast 7000 ₹ every year for maintenance. Please let me know if this is correct way of keeping your product active. I am frustrated now. I am throw this in garbage now.

                            I bought a Kent Vegetable Cleaner - Counter top 250 W Food processor through flipkart (delivered on 24/Oct/2021) which did not work right from the start. I have raised 2 customer complaints so far which apparently got closed by Kent support unilaterally without addressing the problem.

                            I would like a quick redressal of the problem/replacement with a fresh piece or refund. I am not looking for a repair since this is a new machine and Kent Kerala Service folks have not even heard of vegetable cleaners. They know only of water purifiers.

                            First ticket with Kent raised on 6/Nov/2021 (case id[protected]
                            Second ticket was raised on 18/Nov/2021 (case id[protected]

                            Current state of issue:

                            I escalated the issue to level 1 and 2 escalation points after the second case got unilaterally cancelled. The level 1 person called me but wanted me to deliver the machine to his service center. It was very clear that the Kent service centers in Kerala had no clue of this equipment and was treating this as a water purifier. I stated clearly to him that in such a case where they didn't know what they were repairing, I do not want to risk a repair on a new machine and need a replacement

                            The communication went silent after that, I tried contacting level 2 escalation point (apparently the nodal officer for Kerala ) but have not been able to evoke a response yet.

                            This issue has not been resolved...! vI am really surprised with this update and the status that it is 'resolved'. I did not get an email trigger on this update which baffles me.

                            Since I did not notice/was not notified of this comment earlier, I had raised another ticket and next day it got automatically closed again (3rd time overall), despite someone calling me and saying that he will share his location for me to deliver the product for repairs ! Since it was a 1-800 number I had no way to contact him again.

                            I don't have time for this hide and seek folks if you can fix your on stuff that too a brand new product please do so else say so and I will assume that I have made a donation to charity

                            I hope @Mr Mahesh Gupta gets to know of the ease of dealing with Kent customer support better...!

                                I had ordered a Kent Water purifier from flipkart.

                                Please note my order details as follows for your kind reference:
                                Date of Order: 23rd February, 2021
                                Order Id: OD[protected]
                                Item Name: Kent Ace 8 RO+UV+UF+TDS Water purifier
                                Quantity : 1
                                Total price : RS 11, 790
                                Date of Delivery: 25th February, 2021
                                Date of installation: 26th February, 2021

                                After using a few months, the purifier has not performed well. I have complained to service centre 4 times for repairing but each time the product doesn't work properly after repairing. Now I find the product has the fault.
                                Hence, I would request you to kindly attained my complaint urgently and provide me with replaced item at the earliest.

                                Kindly note that if I do not hear from you regarding the replacement of the product, then I would be bound to proceed further to lodge a complaint against the company at appropriate consumer and legal forum.

                                Thanking you in anticipation that my complaint will be resolved soon.

                                  Around a weak back, we had called Kent person from Nova Aqua System from Bangalore to replace the tap. The person who came was not skilled and he was not sure of what he was trying to do, and in the process he damaged the plastic tank and left the water leaking from the tank. After this incident we raised a complaint to the owners of Nova Aqua system and he refused to replace the tank and said that the tank was not damaged by his person. I request to replace the tank immediately and we are not suppose to pay for this as this is not our fault. Also i request you to keep trained people and not people who do not know there work.

                                    As I had to shift from Patna to Bangalore, I made a request with RO service centre for un installation of RO filter at Patna. But despite my Vigorous Follow up, no body come for un installation. I had, then, no choice but to un install my self. Now after coming to Bangalore, I am making request for re installation, then they are not registering my complaint and deliberately trying to Not Attend my re installation request. My RO filter is under Four Years of Free Service and I feel in order to deny me, these services, they are deliberately doing all these things. I feel that Customer Service of Kent RO filter is worst. This is to request to direct them to re install my RO filter immediately

                                    Till now No body came for re installation. Horrible service by Kent RO people. If it is not re installed today by 5 PM then Finally, it seems I will have to throw Kent RO Filter on road and buy Filter of Dr. Aqua Guard. Congratulations to Kent RO people for worst service 100% Worst
