Public Pipe connection provided near East Khandakaranan veli, Kottakkaparambu Road, North Paravur, Kerala is encroached by Smt. Santha Asokan by constructing a compound wall outside the said connection. She has already taken the water connection. Still she and her family members are stealing water using hose daily day and night. They have already placed a huge tank in tjheir compound to collect this water.. And because of this unauthorised use of aforesaid people public is in a restraint to use the said connection. Many times complaints were made to North Paravur water authority. But so far no action is taken against this unauthorised use.

    Respected officer,
    My father took newwater connection for my house use and i am BPL RATION CARD holder, , , 57 cm connection we spend 19000 rs to contractor for one day work as the order of water authority irinjalakuda, 1026 rs in water authority department i paid (approximately they gave totel amount of bill 20080 rs)again 6728rs estimate bill they given when the time off meter fixing time, now they told we are not under BPL scheme and at least 10 times l went water authority to move the paper and it took more than 2 months, and always we informd the all departments we are BPL card holder.
    Please clarify our doubt about the money they took from us and why They not include us in the BPL category even they took Ration card copy from us.

      Kindly do the needful to provide water authority water supply as quickly as possible.

          I have received bill on 15/03/2018. But i cannot remit the amount through netbanking till now as the message shows the bill is processing even after 11 days from the date of receipt of bill.
          Iam not able to remit the amount at cash counter due to health issues and kindly make necessary arrangements in the online payment site to remit the due amount at the earliest. Last date is 31/03/2018.

            Please be informed that, water authority issued a bill on january 23, 2018 with a meter reading of 397 unit an i settled the bill accordingly. Now on 21 march 2018 issued another bill for the consumption of 387 to 425 unit instead of 397 to 425 unit. That means, kwa charged extra bill for 10 units of water. Please find attached both bills for your reference. Please do the needful asap

            When our PM is taking about cashless transaction, why is that the customers are charged like this, when the amt is immediately credited to the Govt

              My name is jacob t george, consumer number clk 257 (Water authority ranny). I have a house connection from ranny water authority, but last one week there is no supply of water in my house connection. My connection taken from ranny major water project thottamon. I noticed the valve operator opening the valve in their interest for some location. So some of them will get water regularly and others need to wait indefinitely. We all taking connection from water authority to get the water in summer season. Therefore i request the serious intervention of high officials in this matter to avoid indefinite interruption of water supply at least in summer season.

                not getting water since last 6 months

                I am a kwa consumer no: kmo/1073/d. I have not consumed a drop of water from kwa since last 6 months. I went to kottayam water authority and gave complaint regarding this for several times. They are always telling that they will do something. But unfortunately nothing has happened so far. I paid my entire dues last year and now paying my bills (Whatever is showing in their website under my consumer id) regularly, even though nobody is coming...

                  The online payment site of kwa is not working properly and the authorities are seemed to be blind folded towards the complaints. I used to make online payment through the kwa web site using my consumer id and registered password. But after providing all necessary details regarding my debit card the transaction is seemed to be failed and an error message is showned as transaction failed. Even though the transaction is failed the payment has been debited from my bank account. It is the second time i have been facing the same problem. Kindly inform me how i will be able to recover my money back and advise me to enable the online payment.

                    I had been weeks that there is no water in my locality and employees at water authority are not cooperating kanhangad division. When ever we try to complain to them they mock at the people.
                    In alamipally water pipe has broken and water is getting waste excessively and they are not willing to repair the pipe also. If we tell them they say it doesn't come under them and not bother about this at all. We are suffering a lot.

We are not getting the water supply for the last 18 days. Please note that water is supplied only once in a week which is not happening. This is an incnvinient situation for us.                         The residents in mannom nagar and other areas around changanacherry has been struggling because of lack of water supply. There is a very high number of seniors in this area who cannot find other means for this problem. There needs to be some assurance that water will be provided through the municipality at least once every week. Lack of wter supply will soon cause illnesses in this area. Please take action as soon as possible
                        Is there a point to sending the complaints. I have not heard back from anyone about this complaint I registered. Talk about inefficiency

As per the above consumer number, the connection of the pipe have to disconnect because it has been busted past two and half years and we are not getting water, we complained many times but there is no response. But now we got the bill of 6252/- without using it. So we are request you to disconnect this connection.

                            There is profuse leakage of water from the KWA pipe line at north-east side of Runway 32/14 of Trivandrum airport.The same may kindly stopped at the earliest to avoid loss of precious water/damage to airport installations.

                              As the water supply of our domestic connection was not sufficient to meet our requirement of 66 apartments, we took a non domestic connection on 02/08/2007 as per consumer number quoted above. Since then the supply was smooth and we were paying the dues on time.

                              Then we received a notice number 12792 dated 14/12/2017 demanding a huge amount of rs.2, 07, 542/-. We submitted the following representation to the executive engineer, ernakulam on 16/01/2018 through registered post with ad and a copy directly to the office.

                              1. Our faulty meter was replaced on 21/05/2014
                              2. The replaced new meter showed correct reading until 22/06/2015, total 1450 units, an average of 242 units per billing cycle and we have paid our dues. Our usage over and above the domestic connection was very limited as most of the apartments were vacant and even now very few people live here as for most of the owners this is a second home.
                              3. Admittedly in your computer generated statement, on 20/8/2015, the status of the meter is shown as ‘ faulty’ which we were not aware until lately when we noticed the status in the bill as ‘not working’.
                              4. On 13/10/2017, to our great shock, we received a bill showing an additional amount of rs.1, 08, 296/-. Then, we approached your good office for obtaining a detailed statement and thankfully we received your computer statement, a copy of which is attached herewith for your ready reference.
                              5. In the statement, please note that on 12/04/2017, the status is shown as ‘faulty’, but on 13/4/2017 there emerged an alarming reading of 7883. This, as is evident, is a grave mistake. We understand that we have been imposed this huge amount based on the above reading from a ‘faulty’ meter. Clearly, this can’t be justified as under:

                              (1) a meter which has been certified as ‘faulty’ by kwa officials since 20/8/2015 until 12/4/2017, after a period of 20 months, suddenly shows a reading of 7883, and the same kwa issues us a bill for this huge reading.

                              (2) the same kwa had been imposing us surcharge for non replacement of faulty meter since 10/12/2015 which amounted even 100% of our bimonthly water usage fees.

                              In the light of the above, we request your good office to kindly correct this grave mistake in the accounts and issue us your statement so that we could remit the dues, if any.

                              We also request your good office to allow us to replace the faulty meter with immediate effect.

                              We have not received any reply for our above reply from the respected executive engineer, instead the authority disconnected the supply and imposed another demand of rs.2, 56, 301/- on us. This is not justifiable.

                              Now, we pray to the authorities to kindly set aside this incorrect and unjustifiable amount imposed on us, allow us to replace the faulty meter and then reconnect the supply at the very earliest.

                                  Dear sir,
                                  1. Water meter at present is fitted at the cost of the consumer, through authorized /licenced plumbers at his cost. The expenditure involved is around rs2000.00 at present, which includes cost of meter and sealing and fitting charges. This is exorbitant.
                                  2. It is submitted that this change of meter when required be got done under kwa and customer charged the actual amount. The amount can be recovered through water bill. Let the onus lie with kwa, as in the case of kseb.
                                  3. At the moment it is a total harassment to the customer who has to run around and depend on the mercy of the authorised /approved plumber. Even from the service point of view it is an undesirable practice.
                                  4. Will the kwa take heed to the suggestion and formulate policy for earliest implementation.

                                  As per the kerala water supply and sewarage act 1986, the onus lies with the assistant executive engineer to change the faulty meter with the consumer paying for the replacement service.
