Dear Sir
I am a consumer of PH division Thiruvalla. Last week I have received a bill of Rs. 10437/- as arrears. I have paid Rs 539/- on 28th June 2011 as per your bill. I am really surprised to see a arrears bill even though I am paying it in every six months. I contacted Thiruvalla PH office and they informed me that it is for last six years. Then they send somebody to check the meter and then they revised it into Rs 9000/- and told us to pay in three installments.
I am really surprised how he reduced it into 9000/-after checking the meter !!!!. It shows that the initial bill was prepared without checking the meter.
Here I am staying with my wife. I am not using water for any agricultural purpose. As there is not enough pressure of water to pump into the OH tank I am using a water pump to pump the water from well whenever is required. As per my rough calculation we are not using more than 200 liters of PH water per day.
I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the necessary action. Awaiting for your reply.

    Drinking Water — unavailability of drinking water

    dear sir/madam,

    In ref. of drinking water in Bengali colony , Mahavir Enclave-1,

    in this area drinking water not available till date, since this colony developed and every family has to suffer everyday and run behind water tankers.. but delhi jal board / govt. deptt. are still in silent mode. even main line of jal board passes through main road ( only 100 mtr. far). but still no connectivity to this colony. every time colored MLA's and MP's have come in commited to residents to connect this line. but still are only commitments.....

    kindly look in to the matter..........
    I am representing the residents of St.Albert's College Lane ( Division 41).
    There is no drinking water supply since the last 5 days. I had informed KWA Pallimuku Office ( Complaints) three times during the past 5 days; but there is no response. Today I could speak to the AEE in charge ( Mr.Jain Raj)and represented the matter.

    Kindly recall my earlier telephonic conversations with your goodself regarding without supply of drinking water to me and charging over billing by your office. In this connection I am enclosing the copy of the following bills for your kind information and taking necessary action:

    1) Bill No.2531 dt.24/11/2011 for Rs.54 for the period from 09/2011 to 10/2011
    2) Bill No.2531 dt.01/03/2012 for Rs.240 for the period from 09/2011 to 02/2012

    I also invite your attention to my earlier letters dt.19 Dec 2009, 26 Mar 2010, 29 Sep 11, 30 Sep 11, 19 Oct 11, 07 Feb 12, etc. addressed to the AXE, KWA, Tripunithura and copy marked for the kind attention of AE, Shri Sunil Kumar (photocopies are enclosed for ready reference) which are self explanatory.

    As per the Tariff and conditions printed in the bill KWA has the responsibility to give consumers sufficient drinking water atleast 5000 litres for Rs.20 per month. Now KWA has failed to supply the sufficient water to my house and liable to adjust the water charges from the changing of my water meter. My present reading of water meter is : . On the facts and circumstances stated above, I request you to take immediate action to give us sufficient drinking water and to make necessary deduction to our bill issued to us immediately.

    Dear Sir,

    Sub:- Scarcity of drinking water to Maradu Municipality – reg.
    Ref:- Letter dt.12 Nov 11 signed by 3 consumers of KWA.


    Kindly refer to the letter mentioned above regarding acute shortage of drinking water to the Maradu Municipality starting from Primary Health Center to Nettoor Railway Level Cross ie. Coastal road. Due to poor pumping of water to this area a lot of KWA consumers are using electric motors for collecting water and this is making others severe head-ache ie. not getting the water.

    In this connection, I request you to take immediate action on the following:

    (1) Increase the water pumping time.
    (2) Take immediate action to stop the using of electric motors to collect the drinking water directly from water line at this coastal area.

      It was really a great tool to pay the water bills in Trivandrum, Kerala State since it was being introduced in 2010. However, the website (kwa.kerala.gov.in) cannot be accessed since end-July, 2011.

      Please do the needful to bring and keep the website running as water bills is due for payment in August, 2011.

        dear sir,
        I am staying in Trivandrum,Kerala,(Pallithanam lane,Karamana,TC-21/498)In our Area there is No Water Supply for the past 12 days .Most of the people living here are struggling and given lot of complaints through phone to the Assitant Engineer of water Authority,Poojapura,Trivandrum, but there was no proper explanation or reply from him and he is not even visited the area.Almost 1000 people are living in this area Authorities concerned may please take immediate steps to save atleast our needs.Kindly take this as a human issue.please get it rectified at the earliest,.In this summer season all o[censored]s are really struggling a lot and we are eagerly waiting for your support.

        Dear sir,
        I am staying in Trivandrum, Kerala, (Pulimoodu Junction, Near GPO, TC-25/3618). The residents here have been facing problems with the irregular water supply for more than a year. We have made a compliant to Assistant Engineer of water authority, Trivandrum. Some people have visited the place after long follow ups but they are of the opinion that there is some pumping issue since our place is in high altitude and we are still forced to adjust with the irregular water supply. The another funny thing to be noted is the pumping issue is faced by the water authority in specific times that is everyday between 7am to 10pm we will have to compromise for the pumping issue. This timings may vary sometimes we have to wait till 2pm the next day for the supply. On most Sundays and public holidays this pumping issue will not be there. Kindly look into the matter seriously and take appropriate actions. We also need transparency for this issue. The services offered by water authority is not free of cost we are paying for it. Then why should we suffer for this

        The people of pulimood resident association is really fed up by following up this. We have to change our daily routines. So we expect a trustworthy solution for this burning issue.

          In connection with the laying of new pipe line in ottasekharamangalam- ulattimoodu road in ottasekharamangalam panchayath for kalipara water supply scheme , whiling digging the roadside in front of my house by using JCB the present domestic pipe line to my house has been brocken (consumeer no : OP46) and hence drinking water supply to my house has been disrupted on 9-9-10. when the contractor , one Mr. Balan nair , was asked to undertake the repair , he said that he had already remitted money in advance towards the damages to the authorities(Water Authority) concerned and they will undertake the repair work. I had lodged a complaint to the AE Water authority at kattakada to that effect on 13-9-10. But repair work has not been done till date. it has been informed to me by AE that the expenses towards the repair work including the cutting of road for laying new pipe has to be met by me.
          According to me it is not justifiable and i am not willing to bear the expenses. Hence i request that urgent action either by the water authority or the cotractor concerned to undertake the repair work.

For the last one year we are not getting the water supply, even the pipe connection is not properly done. We have already complained so many times in the Idukki, Painav office.But the connection was not reestablished.So i kindly request you to restore my connection and adjust our rent for last year.Expectin a fast result.

Almost all of the people from our locality is calling the water authority officials for solving this. Replies we are getting are " I have already informed, the issue will be solved tonight" etc etc. Nothing can replace drinking water. But no one from KWA is responding in a correct manner. sir, what we have to do? pls reply.

          sir,

          The main Water Authority Pipe line which is passing in front of the Punthalathazham Electricty board Office is posted before 30 years (6inch Pipe) They fix 1.30 inches pipe(reducer) and Volvo to block the water for the personal interest of a particular person.

          Because of this reason above 350 families were suffering from water scarcity. We inform this complaints with a written letter but there is no response after 4 week. So pls. take necessary action to solve this problem.

          I am native of palakkad, kerala, but temporarily residing at banglore for work purposes. The drinking water in my present residence at banglore has some whitish powder like deposits. So, I decided to test that water, for which I had come to test in palakkad. But these people sitting the lab are ignorant and reluctant to test the water.

          Sir, I dont know why are they doing so. This is drinking water and I would like to know if its harmful for use, but the Govt. water authority is not helping. They say they have too much of workload so cant test water of banglore. I dont understand a reason.

            Dear Sir,
            i am anurag gupta, living as paying guest in the house of Mr. Dinesh Tandon, C-2010, Indira Nagar, Lucknow. My Landlord and his wife Poonam Tandon is always herrish us by many ways. they stops the water-pump when we are using our water tank, always trying to look inside our bedroom, throwing their wastes in our portion, always abusing us, any so many ways.
            I am requesting you to please help me.

              residents of Nikunjam Enclave, Sreekrishna Nagar, Pongummood are living without water.Now for the last 5 days our taps are completely dry.absolutely no water consecutively for 5 days.we have informed the help line, AE Pongummood, Exe Engr, Chief Engr and also office of the minister for water resources.AE Pongummood has inspected the site twice and convinced of the gravity of the situation and the actual position.neighboring colonies are supplied with water. Moreover it is a low-lying area.Elevated places like Bappuji Nagar and Sreekrishna Nagar(not Nikunjam Residents) residents are getting water.
              pregnant women and grand old parents are facing very crucial time. Authorities concerned may please take immediate steps to save atleast their needs.there are others who cannot contact the authorities during office hours due to their official duties.take this as a human issue.please get it rectified at the earliest.

              Its very sad to register a complaint against kerala water authority, My residense is at Vechoochira panchayat, Pathanamthitta dist, last 20 days we are not getting any drop of water.We are deponding on goverment water supply, several times i made complaints through telephone and no one register the complaint, i hope you will do the needful things, And its very essential to get water.your immediate action will be highly appreciated

              Sir, I have noticed a severe leakage in the pipe line carrying water from Thiruvalla to Changanacherry near Muthoor, which is a place under the Thiruvalla Water works Office.

              The spot is between KSEB Electricity Post No: 'TC - 67' and 'TC - 68' in the same side of the posts. I have noticed it last month and there after, no repair work has been done till date. The leakage makes an uncountable wastage of drinking water and since the road is at an elevation, only VIEWING FROM THE SIDE OF THE ROAD could bring the leakage to notice. I doubt there are two spots of water leakage and therefore, two cracks for the underground piping within a ten feet gap.

              I would like to bring your kind attention to the above issue, and request you to kindly take the apt action to rectify or else, to forward this complaint to whoever it may concern.

              We are from Mylachal (Near Ottasekharamangalam) under Parassala Division, Trivandrum. I am a paid customer of Kerala Water authority on the same way one of my neighbor Mr. George Near Mylachal school his plot is on the way to Edaval (Transformer - Cement Road). He is illegally taking water from the road connection to watering his plantain and rubber plantation at night time (after 11 PM). This is the continuous process from last one year.
              Sir we are suffering from lack of water, our co-villagers didn't get drinking water on the hilly places.
              He regularly spend thousands of litters with out any payment. We informed the Parassala divisional office number of times. We have little doubt some corrupt officers are on the seat.
              Sir we think you have vigilance dept. You may please find its reality. We the common people expecting a valuable result.

              I feel very sorry to lodge a complaint against non availability of water through KWA pipe line. I am making this complaint on-line because I am pre occupied with my Officcial duties at Ernakulam.
              The authorities at Thiruvalla Division is well aware that Thukalassery Kunnumpuram (near to Mahadeva Temple and Amritha Vidyalayam) is a elevated place in Thiruvalla Thaluk. For the last 6 days the taps are dry. There is no alternative source of water in this area since this area is lying in high altitude. People are suffering a lot due to non-availability of water. Sir, kindly realise the situation.
              I have contaced your Office at Tiruvalla and I was told that they are opening the valve (situated near Deaf School) for the free flow of water to our area. I was told that when the water supply reaches Thukalassery Kunnumpuram, the supply in the main line will stop. Therefore, no supply to our area.
              I feel that the only solution is to open the valve giving time priority.
              Sir, I kindly request your goodself to be kind enough to direct authorities accordingly.

              Sir, I am a Water Authority customer since 1979. Fright from the beggining, I used to pay the water bills in advance (Once in an year). Last year 2010, On January 5th when I contacted your payment counter, the cashier sitting at the counter informed me that the bill cannot be taken as I have a due of Rs.252. I have never made a default of water bill till date and I have all the bills with me. (including the year they told me) More over he informed me that only the Asst. Exe. Engineer wave the dues and hence to contact him. I tried several attempts to contact him personally. But I could not and hence I sent him a complaint requesting him to wave the dues on me as I have already paid. If I had a due in 2004, they should have told me and blocked the payment in 2005, or any of the succeeding years and why wait for 7 years like this. The AXe was Mr. Sajeev at that time. Because of this I have not paid this years advance water bill till date.

              I would appreciate if you could kindly take up the issue and wave the dues on me and allow me to pay 2010, and 2011 advance water bills.

But till date there is no response .We have put to lot of inconveniences and facing financial loss and mental distress.               have put to lot of inconveniences and facing financial loss and mental
              distress. Now we are depending on tanker lorry water at exorbitant rates
              which we cannot afford any more.So please take immediate action to
              solve our grievance.
