Dear sir, i stay in a rented house in fort kochi, from starting itself my bill was around rs. 400 and last month (March 2016) it went up to rs. 4000/-
I don't know how this has come, because in my house there are only three members, me, my wife and our kid. When i went to complaint to kwa they told me to change the meter for that i have to again pay rs.1500/- other the above amount.

If possible please help me

Since I am planning to shift to the new house my next week, kindly look into the matter and arrange for water connection at the earliest.

      We have water supply connection at our house puthen plavilaveedu, T. C. No.27/1459, rra-d-159, rishimangalam, vanchiyoor, thiruvananthapuram with id[protected]. We have no other source for water except this water connection. We did'nt get water for the last 5 days. This is not the first time. For the last 2 months this process continued.I complained this matter on[protected] and[protected].Based on those complaints we got water for one or two days after the complaint. How can we live without water. This is surely an alliance with the water lobby and staff in kerala water authority. So kindly take necessary step to provide water today itself, which is the most essential thing to live for us. We did not have a drop of water. Now we lived by using the bottled water bought from market. This is against human rights. So the authorities may take immediate step to provide to water and to take necessary steps to give the compensation for all families in our locality.

        Hi

        My name is nevin jos s/o mx joy. I have some concerns regarding the bill amount. The connection is in the name of my father mx joy. Consumer id [protected] bill number 18199802. Its showing an amount of 5553. Actually while a recent month when i when to water authority to pay bill they told it was negative amount and no need to pay it. But as of now few days back when i went to pay the amount they are saying meter not working hence not able to pay the amount. I saw additional exe engineer. He told me may be meter not working. I told him the meter was working and informed him my father will come to office and inform the details. But today when he went they saying that from june 2015 we have pending amount to be paid. The total is 5553.
        How can this happen??

        And moreover i have went to water authority cochin several times after june 2015 to pay some bills. May be always they inform current not there in office and manually do somthing and give receipts. Fyi: i dont have any receipts after the payments. L lost it.

          I have got a water charge bill from water authority. The reading is 25 units entered in the bill the amount will be 2532/-. It is very high. If the authority person tell me that monthly minimum payments 40/- rs. I am surprised to see the huge amount in the bill. My consumer id [protected]. Mu consumer no trp/537/d. My meter no 92752.             There is public water tap near amma auto consultancy, west nada, kodungallur. The water tap along with pipe comes out very often inundating the road and flowing to nearby drainage. I had lodged complaints to the office many a times and recent one being prior to bharani festival. Since garbagge is dumped near by the users of water from this water line is in the risk of health hazards. Still this leakage was not attended to an action is requested.

              We have kerala water authority water connection at our house with t. C. No.27/1459, rra-d-159, rishimangalam, vanchiyoor. Our consumer id. No. Is [protected]. We did'nt get water for the last 7days. I complained the same matter on[protected]. After that we got water for the next 5 or six days. The water collected on those days used for these remaining days. We can't wash clothes for the last 7 days. Now all the water collected is over. This episode continued for the last 2 months. How can we live without water.12 families of this location have this problem. This was due to the unlawful consumption of water for the construction work done in this locality. All these are with the consent of water authority. So necessary steps may be taken to get the water today itself. Otherwise we will move to the consumer protection forum for getting the justice.

                We have water supply connection at our rental house muthoot building, Azhikode junction, nedumangadu, thiruvananthapuram. We have no other source for water except this water connection. We did'nt get water for the last 6 days. This is not the first time. For the last 6 months this process continued.
                Every time when we called to water authority office they have only one thing to say that pipeline got broken and will resolve today evening this process going on last six month. There is no permanent solution for this. Everyday we facing the same problem. How can we live without water. So kindly take necessary step to provide water today itself, which is the most essential thing to live for us. We did, not have a drop of water. Now...

                  I have taken Water connection from KWA, P.H Sub Station Division, Kondotty with Consumer no:R.K.940.I have been remitting water charges regularly in advance.But I have not been getting water regularly.No single drop of water is getting from my deep well during Summer season.For the last 3 months the authority is continuing this negligent process.Therefore I humbly request you to provide us drinking water at the earliest.

                      Dear Sir,
                      Sub: Billing not as per meter reading.
                      Ref: 1. Consumer No: E49/1385, Customer ID: [protected].
                      2. Bill No: 18213223 dt. 04-May-16.

                      I have taken the above referred water connection on 30th Nov 1998 on completion of construction of my above referred residence. Later in 2005, we have to move out of Kochi due to transfer to other states like Haryana and Bangalore and now at Delhi. During this period the building was vacant for few years and then one room of the building was rented out for office purpose for a short period 2009-12. Later when they shifted, again the building was lying vacant for few months and then rented out to few bachelors up to Sept. 2015. These bachelors had vacated the house on 30th Sept, 2015. Surprisingly then I noticed that the water connection was disconnected and the meter was stolen. When I enquired at your office I was informed that a notice was also pending for remitting dues of Rs. Around 15, 000/- and a direction to replace the meter. (I don’t remember the exact amount). I had no other go but to accept your notice. I remitted the entire amount as demanded in your notice on 9-11-15 at your office counter. I also remitted the inspection fee for the new meter got the new meter inspected. I also remitted one more month dues amounting to Rs 772 vide receipt No: JC 00176596 dt 9/-11-2015. The meter was connected during the same week.

                      I am still staying at Delhi and my family consisting of my wife and 3-year-old twin kids are now at my hometown, Alleppey, along with my mother. We meet together only during every week end at the above address. There is a care taker for my house who stays very nearby. At my house we have installed a pump for pumping water from a well for our non-drinking purpose. We have fitted only one tap after the meter. We take water from this tap only for drinking purpose.
                      On last Saturday when we came to our house we saw the bill No: 18213223 dt 04-May 16 for an amount of Rs 1269/-. I was really shocked. The meter reading was written as 2, immediately I checked the meter, the reading was 2.39. I opened the tap and verified the meter, it was functioning properly. Another surprise I noticed was that my connection was not yet converted to domestic based on my request directly submitted to your office on 9th Nov, 2015.
                      Sir, you will appreciate my concern of remitting such a huge amount as water charges without consuming and that too after remitting about Rs 15000/- as arrears and replacing the meter with a new one as directed by you. I therefore request you that
                      1. My connection may be converted back to Domestic w.e.f. 1st Oct 2015.
                      2. My slab may be re-fixed to the lowest one keeping bi monthly water charges to minimum, less than 150 L
                      3. To issue a new bill applicable to Domestic connection with consumption less than 150 L bi monthly, replacing the above referred bill so as to enable me to remit the amount.

                      As I am now employed at Delhi for Prime Ministers program, I am unable to call on you at your office. Kindly consider my submission favorably.

                        Complaining about getting my water bill more than the normal water bill charges as per the protocol n billing system for every month. On the month of april the water bill was approximately about 9000 which is extremely high. We request you for your extreme consideration n checking of our meter n the error occuring. Our meter number is 10032. Hoping for the necessary action as soon as possible.

                          Inspite of my repeated attempts to open the kerala water authority portal for making online bill payment, it does not open. The message " Website not reachable" is displayed.

                          Due to some technical setting in kwa.kerala.gov.in portal, it does not open at ease as other governement websites open.

                          For collecting money, things should be made easier and request authorities to immediately look into this issue. Thank you

                            Name - santhosh & rasmi, consumer no - krk/2457/d, consumer id - [protected], route[protected].

                            As per bill no[protected], dated 27/10/2015 meter reading was 2221.

                            As per bill no[protected], dated 28/12/2015 meter reading was 2251 but status of meter was not working. But not informed to me by the meter reader.

                            As per bill no[protected], dated 25/04/2016 status of meter was same, thus with a surcharge of rs.161/- added in the bill and informed me by the meter reader that meter is not working.

                            As per his information i reported to kerala water authority nedumangadu sub division and they told me to buy a new meter.

                            I bought a new one and reported today (09/05/16) but absent of ae, i came back.

                            After that when i check the meter still it is in working condition and the meter reading is 2326.

                            Please take necessary action to make mistake done by the meter reader and refund the surcharge.

                              I have made online payment of water charges on 04.05.2016, amounting to Rs.1789/-. but i am yet to be provided with a receipt of the payment. whereas the bank details show debit of the said amount, on my logging into the site of kwa, the bill details are shown as it is, implying non payment. kindly do the needful and regularise my payment. my consumer ID is [protected], in the name of S.Vaidyanathan.

                                My water connection consumer number: krk/429/d (Id [protected]) under nedumangad section.
                                From the demand notice for the water bill, kwa reported that my water meter is not working. I would like to inform that the water meter is working.
                                It is surprising to note that in a previous occasion also, kwa made the report that the meter is not working and believing the report, i changed the water meter. But later, i understood that it was working.
                                I may request you, kindly look in to the matter of faulty reporting and making unnecessary trouble to the consumer.

                                  We had registered a complaint regarding the same matter under id no.1273716 dt 26/04/2016. The family connection on the same pipeline got sufficient water, but at the same time we could not get a drop of water from the above mentioned public tap. The water authority varkala office shows a lackadaisical attitude on this matter and they noted unreal reply against our complaint in the complaint register kept at the above office. Our area faces acute shortage of drinking water. In this context we humbly request that order may please be issued to the concerned authorities for solving the issue at the earliest.

                                    Sir,
                                    Based on our complaint under id no.1267663 the authorities re instate the subject cited public tap on 25.04.2016 at 9.30 am. On the same date(25.04.2016) the family connections on the same pipe line got sufficient water while we had not get a drop of water from the re instated tap. The concerned authority(Water authority, varkala office) shows a deaf ear on our demands. We had registered compaints on 23/04/2016 & 25/04/2016 on the customer complaint register in the above office regarding the same. But the authorities noted a wrong reply against the complaint noted in the register. The actual fact is that the bottom of the tap made with gi pipe which is in a rusted condition.We need a permanant solution for the issue.

                                    This is for your kind information that earlier the authorities solved the leakage on the aforesaid tap only after 21 days from
                                    The date of complaint. This is an example for the lackadaisical attitude of the above office.
                                    Hence we request that necessary order may kindly be issued to the concerned office to solve issue on a war footing basis

                                      Sir,
                                      A kind attention is invited to the above mentioned subject. In this connection it may kindly be noted that there had a water leakage noted in the above public tap on 10/03/2016 and we had immediately informed this matter to the attention of kerala water authority varkala office. Later the officials solved the leakage, but unfortunately they permanently closed the pubic tap. The action made by the officials create a lot of problems and losses among the near by peoples . The surrounding families depends this tap(Source) for their use because this area faces accute shortage of drinking water.In this situation we humbly request that immediate arrangements may kindly be made to solve the issue at the earliest.

                                        I paid sufficient advance of rs.2752(As on sep.2015.0
                                        This time my bill came rs. 12528 !!!
                                        My monthly rent was only rs.52.
                                        This time put bimonthly water charge as rs.1921.( bill no.[protected].Alappuzha section.
                                        Since i have a domestic connection and we are not using the water much no one staying there continuously.But my sister staying in the near by house and they are collecting the bill, and the house key with them. But it is mentioned in the bill that house locked!
                                        My consumer no. Is pra/1096/ domestic.
