Today, I tried withdrawing money from a Canara Bank ATM near me. Initially I tried to withdraw 2000, when transactions failed. Later, I tried to withdraw 500 from the same ATM, when my transaction failed as said by the ATM screen. However, I got a message telling me that money was deducted from my account. I was in urgent need of money, so I thought it was an issue with the ATM, and attempted to withdraw money from another ATM. Again, as I try to withdraw, no money comes, yet Rs. 500 is debited from my account! What is happening? I lost 1000 Rupees to nothing today! And upon that, when I tried contacting customer care through the helpline provided([protected]) on the backside of the card, one helpline is redirected telling "this line is busy" over a span of two hours!! Which helpline stays busy for such a long time? And the other one ([protected]) "Does not exist" as confirmed by the calling facility. Wonderful. Now we cannot even call to ask if we've been dumped or not. Next, I tried contacting the bank through their website for grievances. Every time I click a link related to that website, all it tires to do is log me out! How pathetic is your system website? Why are we being treated like this? Can we be returned our money? Will I even be answered here?
