My name is pradeep anandarajan, pan no. Ajcpp7016n and i have taken personal loan and credit card from kotak bank which account numbers are spln60048506 &[protected]. Due to job loss and not find job since long time i have financial issues and defaulted emi’s. Last year during sep 2017 also when i had defaulted the emi bank personal’s promised me to reduce emi amount once i regularize the emi but later they refused it once i regularized it.
1) email received from shrikant. [protected]@kotak.com, cc : tanmay. [protected]@kotak.com, yogesh. P. [protected]@kotak.com, vipin. [protected]@kotak.com on 24 sep 2017 12:11 p. M
2) email requesting to reduce emi sent to shrikant. [protected]@kotak.com and all above cc on september 25, 2017 7:07 am
3) email response received against my emi reduce request from tanmay. [protected]@kotak.com and cc from above all on 25 september 2017 at 08:35 am
They have straight way denied my request with in 1 and half hour of my email request without even called for discussion.
I even sold my flat to repay the emi’s but right now i have exhausted all my saving and left with no money to repay. So i requested the bank to reduce the emi through email and telephone but the refused it continuously and harassed me over phone. Following are the email communication attached with this letter.
4) email received from bank on 10th sep 2018 from subrato. [protected]@kotak.com & cc to tanmay. [protected]@kotak.com, datta. [protected]@kotak.com, hemant. [protected]@kotak.com
5) email request sent by me to reduce emi on 10th sept 2018 to all above bank representative.
With in 20 minutes i got a respond from them that they denied my request to reduce emi. And subsequent email went between both o[censored]s on say day attached.
They also harassed my friend and threaten him that they will play cards in front of his office until they find my new address. To keep my family away from their harassment i did not give them new address of mine since my family is very sensitive to these kinds of approaches. They were insisting me to meet me in person separately outside since there are something that cannot be disclosed over phone. When i told them to schedule the time and venue and let me know but they called me one day suddenly and told to me to meet immediately when i told them i have another schedule but they were rude so i was afraid and refused to meet them and told them to keep in touch through email for better record. Though there were lots many call of harassment i recorded only few. I am attaching the proof of call record about their harassment evidence over phone.

Whereas on 24th oct 2018 they went beyond rules and regulation and they harassed wife of the owner who purchased my flat (I used to stay there earlier). This happened several time and this time they were so arrogant speaking to his wife and threaten them to give my address otherwise they will be in trouble because of my nonpayment. Total 3 person visited his house and threaten them. That flat owner gave police complain which is attached for your reference.

They also started searching me showing my photo around this locality to all the people and looking for me for the whole day. Shockingly they have got my wife’s and daughter photo and they are shown to security guard of my society (He can be made available interrogated if necessary). Because of their indecent approach all o[censored]s in my family are depressed and unsecured. Bank representatives went to my friends office, previous residence and threaten them and my name in the society is got spoiled. This still continues i do not know the fate of mine and my family. I have already got into depression since 4-5 months and lost focus on searching jobs and my family is also feel so unsecure and depressed and worried when they came to know my wife and daughter photographs are with them and searching. Following people were in contact with me. They all said they belong to thane anand theatre branch and they look like collection agent and some of they claimed hemant is from legal team.

Because of their continuous harassment over phone and in person i wrote complaint to rbi seeking their interference and find a solution. When the bank representative approached again i told them to wait till i get response from rbi because they are not reducing my emi amount. But again they were rude in the approach i hereby attach the phone call record.

On 28th sept 2018 the credit card team approached me at 8.30pm and i avoided and they approached thorough whats app which screen shot also attached for your reference, his name is pedro, [protected]. I am sure approaching after 7 pm is against rbi regulations given to bank. Now you may understand how much casual/inappropriate they were while dealing with my case.

Due to their abusing calls and harassment i got high bp and lost peace of mind and totally depressed, my families are afraid and i lose my focus to find job and make another income. Almost for 6 months i have not generated any income rather taking money from others and selling items and running my life. On account defamation my name in society, harassment, threatening i want to register compensation from kotak bank for 25 lakh rupees and waiver off my personal loan and credit card due amount.
I request you to help me getting this case forward.

    Hi, recently as per discussion with akshay suryavanshi from kotak recovery team and a reversal of interest accrued on my long pending credit card bill i made the payment. I have received written assurance and a reversal letter over the email but still money is being deducted from my saving account. He assured me zerolisation of the cc account and i would not owe anything against my kotak credit card but that is not the case. When i tried to contact them they are not replying to my mails. So need help.

    I have attached my reversal letter and cash deposit receipt.

      This is regarding your card payment it is unfortunate that you are asking for settled amount vide your letter no ch0444dated
      05.10.2004 and cash receipt no 0198 dated 05.01.2005. Here i want lodge complaint regarding misbehavior and use of filthy and abusive language over phone (No [protected]). I am sending copy of this to finance ministry as well as to rbi for insulting the senior citizen who has paid his amount if immediate apology is not coming from the person who has abused me. Call time is 03.07pm on 22.11.2018.in case you fail to take any action i will file suit in court for defamation and for human right violation. Please respond to this mail after verifying your record. If you fail to do so than take necessary step to stop tele calling in this regard.

        Hi, my crn number is[protected]. I have a credit card with kotak bank with a limit of rs 25000, however, my current outstanding is rs 31000. I got out of job in the month of june 2018 since then i have been unable to find a job. I told this situation to the bank as well. I am bankrupt and have no money left. Yesterday i got this message from one of the bank employee "hard recovery on on monday jab tak payment na mile hilna mat vha se neighbour owner jo mile us se baat karo". What kind of harassment is this? Are we even living in a legal society? I had no choice but to file a complaint against the bank to stop such activities. I and my family are law abiding citizens and we wish to make the payment as soon as the situation improves. Please help.

          Hi team, this is regards to the transaction of 17th sep. Of rs 700 with the transaction number[protected]. I tried to withdraw cash from the atm, however due to the fault in machine i could not get the cash however the amount was deduted. I submitted the complaint at that time, however the request was decllined. Can you please help me explain that why it was rejected when i haven't got the cash. Also tell me the procedure to close the account if you guys are unable to get this resolved and give me back my money.

            I transferred rs 2458 from my kotak bank (Upi id :[protected]@kotak) to [protected]@okicici. The transaction was marked as failed but money got debited from my kotak bank account.

            I checked sbi bank account (Beneficiary account) and kotak bank. Money not yet credited to account. Tried contacting customer care they are saying call at banking hours. Please give my money back

              I am a credit card holder holder of kotak mahindra bank, and kotak mahindara bank employee are misbehaving with my relatives, and they are going for collections at my reletives address and asking for money and misbehaving with them. And abusing also. Or jaan se marne ki dhamki and all they are totally in bhaigiri so please hepl out me on this.                 I hv opened a s/b account with the kotak bank, moradabad
                I am receiving sms regarding amb charges for my s/b account
                These charges were not told to us at the time account opening.

                I have requested a zero balance savings account,
                I have a balance of rs. 11000 in my account currently, i am afraid this bank will deduct all my savings bank money with this trick!

                Please help me to save my money as i would prefer to open my s/b account somewhere else, because other bank offer zero balance acocunts and does not impose these amb or other charges

                I have opened a salary account last year and and the time of opening they did not told me about the NON MAINTANNCE CHARGES and also not even sends me any msg or mail that i have not maintaind a minimum balance for last 2 or 3 month and now suddenly they deducts instant charges for that non maintannce month.
                As the guidelines from RBI there should not be any charges for non maintannce, , so how can they deduct charges without information???
                Going to file a case against them.

                  I'm charged for the service, my order was accepted by dominos and later cancelled basis their convenience. This is a case of earning interest from customers money which is absolutely illegal. The order shouldn't have been accepted if they cannot honor the same. I want my money back now and wish to sue both zomato and dominos. I need a serious compensation too.

                        I have kotak bank urbane credit card and i had face issue of faudlent transaction on 31st october, 2018. This txn is done without my permission and my card is also not stolen. I had submitted disputed form to kotak bank and it refunded 4116.56 rs as disputed txn.

                        But before disputed txn my credit limit is 10177.56 and after disputed txn i only get money of 4116.56 rs.

                        So this is not good service by kotak bank and they have not refunded my full money on credit card. Credit card account statement has also changed by bank.

                        How can i get my money back?

                          I have applied through online and transferred 6000 rs for oneplus 6t free insurance offer. Only later i realised it is my mistake!

                          Guess my money is stuck and cannot be transferred back to my other bank accounts untill this new kotak bank savinigs account is activated.

                          Too much is happening because of one of your wrong agents. He told me that he is opening a basic account for me which he didn't. The account has to be maintained with minimum 10000 balance. Now there is penalty imposed every quarter.
                          The branch in which he has opened is in anand vihar which is 20kms away from my place. So now neither i can use the account nor i can close it.

                              It has come to my notice that unnecessary charges deducted for rs. 118 on 16 nov2018 from saving account number [protected] in lieu of netbanking password regeneration charges.
                              I need to clarify that i am not using net banking and i have not received any regenerated password then why such deductions by bank without intimation to me till date.
                              Kindly reimburse unnecessary deducted amount or i have to escalate the matter to final decision authority ombudsman through public grivances portal complaint.

                                I have applied for Car loan in KMPL (Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited) of 5, 00, 000 INR. By the time of applying for loan, they said ROI is 5% - 7% (he was not sure), i signed all my documents and loan was processed.

                                After I got my EMI details, i was shocked to see its 11% ROI for 5 Lakhs loan. Axis bank is providing personal loan for 11.49% with 0% pre-payment and foreclosure. But KMPL is charging 3% fee for foreclosure.

                                Also before they sanction the loan, they didn't even discuss the tenure and ROI for this loan.

                                This is really ridiculous.

                                I hate these kind of banks who is making people fools.

                                  My savings account with kotak mahindra is in debit freeze state. First of all this debit freeze was because of a fault from the bank's end, second of all i have visited dwarka sector 5 branch thrice, have contacted the phone banking officer twice or thrice have visited my home branch twice, infact i am still sitting in my home branch and they are not able to provid me with a resolution.

                                  I am a working professional, it is getting really hectic for me to miss my work in order to visit braches. I am seriously fed up with kotak mahindra and kindly request the concerned authorities to help me out or close my account. I won't be seriously able to visit the branch anymore.

                                  I had posted a complaint of 20'th Nov'18 regarding the issues with my current account.
                                  Still haven't received any revert from your end.

                                  This is a clear demonstration o[censored]nprofessionalism, ignorance and running away from problems.

                                  Remember the times when your agents run after to open account in your stupid bank, at that moment your behavior conveys that your bank is the best to be associated with and the primary focus for you will be customer satisfaction, but it is seriously disheartening to keep on following you regarding such a pity issue.

                                    I tried to book a flight ticket on 10th November 2018 in yatra via paypal wallet. The amount got deducted from my account but the transaction was not successful. I have contacted the paypal and the yatra team. They said, the transaction was declined by the bank itself.
                                    The respective Chq/Ref no. is[protected]. Kindly check and revert my money back.
                                    Kotak Mahindra Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      Hi,
                                      I want to highlight here the unprofessional and irresponsible behaviour of kotak mahindra bank.
                                      I had opened a salary account in kotak mahindra bank around 5 years back which i opened while joining a company. But as i left the company and my salary account changed to another bank so some charges started getting deducted from my kotak amount. After which i complained to kotak branch of noida sector 137. Here i met one of the executive and asked him to close my account. But he suggested me to switch to savings account as according to him it will be a zero balance account and then there will be ni deductions.
                                      But after converting my account to savings still money haa been deducted 2 times.
                                      I tried to contact and complain this problem to shakarpur branch manager also but he also seem to unheard my problem.
                                      I want consumer care persons to please address my issue and help me in recovering my deducted money and take strict action about these unprofessional people.
                                      An early action will be highly appreciated.
