Hi,
I am mendam hemakar customer of kotak mahindra bank working at about india private limited, when i went to atm for cash withdrawal of 2000 rupees it showed me that the transaction was timed out and the money was debited from my kotak account. Can you please look into this issue and refund my money back as soon as possible.

    Ad hoc statement charge ₹118 have been deducted on 13-October-2018 from my kotak account account without any information.

    I haven't asked for any such statements from bank either by visiting branch or through any other way of communication.

    And when i opened account, bank said their is no charges of online or esttment.

    So i need clarification from bank or reverse my ₹118 to my account.

      On 3rddecember afternoon i tried to transfer 1000rs to one of my friend and 1950rs to my another account using kotak mahindra bank mobile application., i donot know the reason why the transfer has failed since i have done these kind of transfers many a times., after this failed transaction i have noticed that the money has been deducted. I tried contacting the customer care more than 10 times, the call did not connect. There was no email id to support.
      I need help as soon as possible, since money is important to me.

        kotak credit card excess finance charge deducted

        I have made repeated request for reversal of finance charges rs 2739 + rs 411 (Service tax) levied in jan 2017 statement nonpayment of full amount by due date. No action has been taken by kotak bank. The finance charges deducted are approximately 4% per month, meaning more than 50% per year which is totally incorrect. Reversal was not been done in spite of advise by customer care for making immediate payment before due date. I have written...

        I am getting fake job offer calls from the kotak life insurance, kolkata, west bengal. The address is as follows:

        'kotak mahindra group.1, shakespeare sarani, 1st floor, ac market, kolkata-700071, the backside of the market near maidan metro station or birla planetarium.'

        I somehow know about their fake game so i tried to fool them in return! ;)

        I said ok for the interview and then gathered every detail from the representative who was calling me (I have her name and number). She said that she is the team manager and she is also making recruitment calls. Isn't that funny! Great multitasking skills!

        I went on inquiring about my job role. The lady said that i will have to do 12 policies in the first three months starting with my family and friends! But in actuality, for meeting their sick sales targets, they are contacting people and offering them fake jobs. They will ask you to purchase policies first (Or for your family or friend).

        When i told her how she is fooling people and that i can submit her number to the concerned authorities, then she tried playing safe by saying, ' i am not aware of this as i am a fresher! Thank you for making me aware by sharing this information."

        I also want to mention that i got two different offers from the same company! They are running a fraudulent firm fooling people around.

        Please beware of such frauds and don't fall victim to them. Just a waste of time and money!!

          Respected sir,

          I am k. Guru raghavendra kumar from madanapalle, andhra pradesh. Recently from one month the consultancy career support. Online from delhi called me and took interview in phone for branch operations manager in kotak mahindra bank. 4 rounds were taken including online test, 2 persons called me they said we r from kotak bank, gurgaon n said the process, said to join diploma course in banking n management n said to deposit rs.46000n they gave me receipt for this course fees from itm university. Next round rs.38000 for laptop n tab. I deposited wrongly this amount into given account which i deposited diploma course fees. They said i wrongly deposited said will be refunded after this account auditing is over n gave other account, i again deposited rs.38000 to given account. I paid rs.2850 for registration to consultancy n rs.6000 for background verification. They gave one letter in that they mentioned training will be from june 26th in hyderabad but due to non payment of gst charges they kept hold and after paying gst charges they gave me loi letter that training will be from september 20th in hyderabad. Recently i paid to them rs.20000 for gst charges n rs.25000 for library security deposit fees for job training in itm university to sbi account no : [protected]. After depositing all money process also still they r demanding rs.20000 for clearing online exam with good marks. Totally amount i sent to them is 178850.

                I having credit card of kotak with crm 43778100. Till nw my payment r intact. I have done imps of r's 15500 frm axis bank on 9th nov. Due date is 7th nov. Kotak is stating it is credited on 15th and i have been charged interest for 8 days actually it should be 2 days. I am dissatisfied with service. Kotak has been telling it is credited 15th. Please show proof. I have sent statement to them showing transaction done with all details

                  I was submitting request for mobile updation on 5 th november 2018 but till now it is not updated. When on 8 th november 2018 again i visited to branch one of employee said network is not working. Then again i was visited to branch (Vasant kunj) on 1 st november 2018, till date mobile number is not updated when raise a question why mobile number is not updated they replied your mobile number is written in the form is wrong. I don't understand when i visited branch on 8th november they didn't informed me. Even on 5 th november she confirmed the number and today she refused. Employee of vasant kunj branch very badly misbehaving with me. Even teller instructing their gaurd to thrown me out from the branch. They are using abusing language and their office boy held my hand for pushing me out. I need immediate action especially two people... Is this way they treating their customer.. What type of service quality they giving us.. Taking one month for mobile updation...

                        I want to bring to your notice a case of pathetic customer service and negligence in resolving a customer issue from kotak 811 saving acount ahmedabad. Here is sequence of activities happened
                        Bank blocked my account due to failure addres verification without inform me. Then i visit my home branch twice with document. But i didnot get any revert back my accout was still blocked.

                          First complaints: contacting customer care excutive is like going thru hell then also we will not able to contact them.

                          Second one while ordering something from third part we can't contact bank for emi option but at the return time they never ever close emi option.

                          Kindly contact [protected] cause am not able to contact you.

                          Note; without resolving this issue am not going to pay so goe penny for you. Not even extra money.

                              New way to fool customer. There are 2 places where customer need to go through terms & conditions. 1 t&c of the credit card you choose, another one is is general t&c for all credit cards (Which customer is unaware of).

                              There is a card pvr card wherein your bill is if rs. 10, 000 you will get 2 pvr movie tickets free.in general terms & conditions it is mentioned the transaction should be billed transaction for the month to get this. But they have not defined billed transaction.

                              In my bill for the month, i was billed rs. 11, 500 which includes rs. 1800 emi transaction. So they have denied my free tickets stating emi transaction is not billed transaction. Bulllshit.

                              Biggest joke is my bill also states. Total bill amount is rs. 11, 800 & not rs. Rs. 9800. I think these banks want customers initially then just fool them.

                                I have opened kotak mahindra salary account on august 2013 and maintained it for 3.6 years. I have not been using it for past 2 years. I never got an email nor message detailing the maintenance charges.
                                When i have opened the account in 2013, they said there will be no maintenance charge if the salary gets credited for 6 months and in my account, salary got credited for more then 3.5 years.
                                And now when i call customer care, there say a huge lump of amount to be paid as maintenance charge. Why can't kotak mahindra send monthly emails with the amount outstanding? Are you trying to fool the customers?

                                  On 27 nov 2018 rs.51000 transferred from my saving account to ksec without my knowledge. Today i have cash requirement but due to your notorious act of kotak i am not able to withdraw my money. It highly embarrassing that before dispatching welcome kit of demat account and without activating demat account they have transferred fund to that account.
                                  Today i have talked to kotak bank helpline number they told me to call to kotak security. After that a called kotak security they told that your money will be transfered back today. But till now it is not done.

                                    Hi,

                                    I have been receiving calls from recovery agents since 23rd of november, saying that my mother has taken a loan 13 years ago has not repaid it. Please note that they have not been calling me or my parents, but on my office landline number continuously in spite of the fact that i have warned them not to do so. There have even verbally abused by colleague by calling on his personal phone number - who has no relation to this entire incident.

                                    I have recorded the calls wherein the caller is harassing me and my colleagues regarding the same. There is no loan in my name and i have confirmed the same with the bank.

                                    Please resolve this issue at the earliest or i will be forced to issue an fir against the bank and their recovery agent.

Ajcpp7016n and i have taken personal loan and credit card from kotak bank which account numbers are spln60048506 &[protected]. Due to job loss and not find job since long time i have financial issues and defaulted emi’s. Last year during sep 2017 also when i had defaulted the emi bank personal’s promised me to reduce emi amount once i regularize the emi but later they refused it once i regularized it.
                                      1) email received from shrikant. [protected]@kotak.com, cc : tanmay. [protected]@kotak.com, yogesh. P. [protected]@kotak.com, vipin. [protected]@kotak.com on 24 sep 2017 12:11 p. M
                                      2) email requesting to reduce emi sent to shrikant. [protected]@kotak.com and all above cc on september 25, 2017 7:07 am
                                      3) email response received against my emi reduce request from tanmay. [protected]@kotak.com and cc from above all on 25 september 2017 at 08:35 am
                                      They have straight way denied my request with in 1 and half hour of my email request without even called for discussion.
                                      I even sold my flat to repay the emi’s but right now i have exhausted all my saving and left with no money to repay. So i requested the bank to reduce the emi through email and telephone but the refused it continuously and harassed me over phone. Following are the email communication attached with this letter.

                                      5) email request sent by me to reduce emi on 10th sept 2018 to all above bank representative.
                                      With in 20 minutes i got a respond from them that they denied my request to reduce emi. And subsequent email went between both o[censored]s on say day attached.
                                      They also harassed my friend and threaten him that they will play cards in front of his office until they find my new address. To keep my family away from their harassment i did not give them new address of mine since my family is very sensitive to these kinds of approaches. They were insisting me to meet me in person separately outside since there are something that cannot be disclosed over phone. When i told them to schedule the time and venue and let me know but they called me one day suddenly and told to me to meet immediately when i told them i have another schedule but they were rude so i was afraid and refused to meet them and told them to keep in touch through email for better record. Though there were lots many call of harassment i recorded only few. I am attaching the proof of call record about their harassment evidence over phone.

                                      Whereas on 24th oct 2018 they went beyond rules and regulation and they harassed wife of the owner who purchased my flat (I used to stay there earlier). This happened several time and this time they were so arrogant speaking to his wife and threaten them to give my address otherwise they will be in trouble because of my nonpayment. Total 3 person visited his house and threaten them. That flat owner gave police complain which is attached for your reference.

                                      They also started searching me showing my photo around this locality to all the people and looking for me for the whole day. Shockingly they have got my wife’s and daughter photo and they are shown to security guard of my society (He can be made available interrogated if necessary). Because of their indecent approach all o[censored]s in my family are depressed and unsecured. Bank representatives went to my friends office, previous residence and threaten them and my name in the society is got spoiled. This still continues i do not know the fate of mine and my family. I have already got into depression since 4-5 months and lost focus on searching jobs and my family is also feel so unsecure and depressed and worried when they came to know my wife and daughter photographs are with them and searching. Following people were in contact with me. They all said they belong to thane anand theatre branch and they look like collection agent and some of they claimed hemant is from legal team.

                                      Because of their continuous harassment over phone and in person i wrote complaint to rbi seeking their interference and find a solution. When the bank representative approached again i told them to wait till i get response from rbi because they are not reducing my emi amount. But again they were rude in the approach i hereby attach the phone call record.

                                      On 28th sept 2018 the credit card team approached me at 8.30pm and i avoided and they approached thorough whats app which screen shot also attached for your reference, his name is pedro, [protected]. I am sure approaching after 7 pm is against rbi regulations given to bank. Now you may understand how much casual/inappropriate they were while dealing with my case.

                                      Due to their abusing calls and harassment i got high bp and lost peace of mind and totally depressed, my families are afraid and i lose my focus to find job and make another income. Almost for 6 months i have not generated any income rather taking money from others and selling items and running my life. On account defamation my name in society, harassment, threatening i want to register compensation from kotak bank for 25 lakh rupees and waiver off my personal loan and credit card due amount.
                                      I request you to help me getting this case forward.
