Hi,

Kotak securities service is not up to the mark. I am facing the issues in trading account from day one onwards. Customer care people are completely helpless and they are unable answer any queries which I was raised in the telecon but, they are asking me to refer FAQ :) because they don't know the answers and obviously my queries answers won't be there in FAQ's. After sending my queries to customer care through mail they even not responded from last 2 weeks and even i haven't got compliant number.

They are claiming that they will provide best service :) FUNNY

I have too gone through the same ordeal.Their customer service has a lot to be desired.They have not been imparted proper training and lack core competency, thus have stopped trading altogether due to heavy loss due to this and malfunctioning Keatpro X.

    one fine day my security key was not able to synchronize withe theeire system and i was getting error message again and again. after theat i called thee customer care and theey told theat theere is problem withe your key. theey said theat you might have dropped theis key or some problem is from your side. even theough theere is notheing such happened and after talking to theem for about an hour theey said you should raise thee new key request and submit thee key to any nearby office and theey will check and if thee problem if from theeir side theey will refund my 600

    iwas not aware theat thee temporay code which i have to generate is used only for 10 days and tfrom theis day i was not able to login into my account and i called customer care and theey said your request is in proccess and you can noot login into your account own your own.

          I opened a demat account with KSL (client ID 381E0 ) in May 2012 and wanted an online account because I have 5 years of trading experience through online mode. However, repeated requests for an online account were ignored and they insisted that their offline service is world class and that I should give it a try. Reluctantly, I started and I would get calls from their back office occasionally although there were transactions being done from my account on a daily basis. To my dismay, I found out that there were few transactions (derivatives especially) that were done without my consent and when I inquired about those I was told that my phone was not reachable (utter disregard of contractual agreement). Due to such malpractice by their back end associate, I now stand on a huge loss of 50,000 INR. My entire capital of 50K got wiped out in a matter of 3 months. KSL is highly unethical in its services and I would never recommend anyone to open an account with them.
          I am planning to move court against KSL and would go to any extent to recover my hard earned money.

            Sub:- Cheating by M/s Kotak Securites Ltd. 202,217 Ambadeep Building K.G.Marg, N.Delhi-01
            Ref:- My Client code No- HJIE -1 / Group code No-DDDDAMFBEQ.

            This is for your kind information that I have been cheated very badly by M/s Kotak Securites Ltd., resulting I have suffered the huge financial losses of Rs.1,70,327/-. Due to this loss I am suffering from the mental tension very badly since Nov’09 as my hard earned money which was saved by me in so many years from my meagre monthly salary have been taken by Kotak Securities Ltd., by way of cheating, misguiding and making fictitious promises, that they will generate Rs.10,000/- to 15,000/- per day profit on payment of Rs.1,00,000/-as their fee. They have taken my signature on D-mat account opening form and filled the same at their end without explaining the terms and conditions. Mr.Sonu Dwevedi and Mr.Rohit Gupta are their representative, who were assuring me that whether market goes up or down, they will make profit for me in both situations, as their is a team of experts in Kotak to do so.

            They have opened my account and started trades from 17.10.09 in my account and from the day one they have started showing losses in my account and at the same time on 24th & 25th Oct’09 I requested them to close my account and refund my money when there was very nominal loss of around 2500/- but they did not closed it. Later on I have submitted my request letter on 30.10.09 for closing my account and refund of my Rs.1,00,000/- plus other balances, but on my every request they were continue making trades in my account with assuring me not to worry “sir we will recover the entire losses”. After completion of one month 17.10.09 to 17.11.09 they were even not attending my calls. If you go through the statement of account, the total brokerage on trading they did in my account is not more than Rs.2500/- for the aforesaid period and they have taken Rs.1,00,000/- plus Rs.10,300/- debited additional in my account plus losses made in trading for Rs.60,027/- totaling to Rs.1,70,327/-. In this regard, I have written several letter and reminders to the top official of Kotak Securities, but no action has been taken so far except acknowledging my letters.

            So far I have not received my claim, therefore I request you to kindly help me and take immediately necessary action against Kotak Securities Ltd., for releasing my hard earned Rs.1,70,327/-. I will be very thankful to you for this act of kindness.

              Hi,

              I became victim of a Kotak securities franchisee which is located at Lingampally, Hyderabad. I had very bad experience with Kotak.
              Initially I choose Kotak because I trusted it blindly by looking at its brand name which I the biggest mistake I have done in my life.
              Then I hated the offline account which was created without my interest created by your franchisee.
              That account didn’t have minimum options to know the details of the account, I didn’t understand a single point in making such an account. I must say that thing is for blinding their customers.
              The broker took my hard earned money, my whole savings and swept all the amount in just 45 days. How I immature that is??? I don’t understand why Kotak has kept such a franchisee with them.
              AT the end I just got a big sorry in turn of my whole savings, That is the reason I hated it so much.

                Misleading information was given to me by one of the advisors at kotak securities customer care. After that I called atleast 15 times to fix the problem but everytime they promise call back. They never keep there promises. They are incapable. The supervisors are useless. I talk to Jigna shan(sup) and Mehmood ali ( sup) but they are useless. They are worst then advisors. They just tend to get rid of customers they never try to solve problem. I am fed with calling them again and again. One of the advisors accept that we listened to that call and there was error from our side. But today jigna shah(sup) told me that we listened to the call & there was not our error.
                Could you plz let me know what i am supposed to do. My client id is 332X8.

                  Kotak securities sales persons - Mr. Ruchit Soni had contacted me and promised me for 2 paisa brokerage for intra-day and 20 paisa brokerage for inter-day after my stock transfer from other brokerage firm.

                  I meet his manager also - I had forgotten his name. He had also promised me for same.

                  Due to this brokerage issue, I had not done any transaction in shares - After 1 year they are telling me that We will not reduce your brokerage and you can close your account.

                  I had spend around 5000 Rs on calls and in various affidavits/charges.

                  Pleas help me resolve my issue and help me in transferring all my shares and mutual funds

                    your kotak salesperson have given same commitment which was given to my colleague whose account no :2NE02.

                    The sales representative has made the following commitments:

                    Kotak Securities executive Anil Bansode and his Manager Prabhu has made 2p - 20p brokerage charges, Nil DP and Nil A/c opening charges commitment before taking the account, but till date didn't fulfill the commitment. I have raised the issue on ks.[protected]@kotak.com and they have resolved the DP and A/c opening charges issue but the brokerage charges issue is still pending.

                    Please do not take advantage of lack of official communication from your team and consider the facts above to fairly address the issue.

                      Hi Team,

                      I have lodged a complaint on Kotak Securities regarding the breach of commitments made by their team and immediately I got a call/reply from their team saying they would resolve the issue at the earliest. It's been almost a month and till now there is no response.

                      Now, I understand that the services team does this to make followers of consumer court feel that the team is active/keen to solve the issue. They are doing this just to create false impact and mislead the followers of the thread - complaints/kotak-securities-andhra-pradesh-c733630.html.

                      Anyone, please let me know how should these ethic-less folks be dealt.

                        sir myself Neeraj Kumar and i had worked with kotak securities from oct 2010 to oct 2011 and my pf no. is MH/41586/18847 for which i had applied in Nov. 2011 and it is recieved in pf office in jan.2011.

                        Till now i not recieved any intimation from their side and still i did not get my pf settled .

                        Sir i request u to plz look in to the matter or shud i go for some legal action

                          My trading account with Client Code 2DBB9 and Demat account number 16232156 have already been closed and confirmed as closed by Kotak Securities vide their e-mail dated[protected].
                          On[protected], they have on their own without my consent, have transferred Rs.40,000/- from my bank (Kotak Bank) to Kotak Securities to that closed account.
                          What a criminal neglect and shameful style of functioning of these big companies.
                          The complaint was lodged through e-mail at service.[protected]@kotak.com <service.[protected]@kotak.com>; and service.[protected]@kotak.com <service.[protected]@kotak.com>; on[protected] but nothing has been done till now. No reversal, no phone call, nothing. Careless, irresponsible and shameful working of Kotak Securities.

                            this is the complaint posted by someone on the same forum ,who had similar problem which i am facing right now





                            "I hold a trading a/c with Kotak Securities for approx 3 months. Ever since I got the security token to log in I used to have trouble. I had to call up customer care sync up the token and log in every time. (My mistake for bearing with this). One fine day, the customer service person told it cannot be synchronized up and will have to be replaced and I have to bring the service token to the bank and 600 Rs. will be deducted from my a/c and will be given back to me after updating the back end. It was so irritating for me on hearing this since for no fault of mine I had to pay something and run behind them for repaying that. The representative had no answer for me when I told I didn't ask for a new token and because of their messed up application/system that I am made to pay this. But they were not ready to listen to me that this was their fault. I have initiated the a/c closure. I was thinking that Kotak Mahindra bank was providing very good services and this thing came up and I am totally irritated and am convinced that this is just another bank looking forward to bill some money when a customer falls into the traps. Reminds me the days when the representative was running behind me to get the applications done and for proof. Now when I have a problem I have to run behind them and pay them (For their fault) .. But after all this is just another bank...."

                              The Kotak Securities website is having a problem in their Equity Portfolio Tracker module for last 3 days now. It is so disgusting that there is neither any information or communication from the Company and also there is no reply from them on being this brought to their notice. If there is a problem then atleast some one shall notify the non availability of service and expected time for restoration. You cant go into hibernation without providing the service. All this at the crucial time of year end looks absurd and irresponsible. user id ANI63_40

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    My complaint against the aforesaid company is related to poor quality of service or offering no service when the customer is in need. At the time of opening of the A/c , the company made several promises including to give the best customer service to its customers but in fact they have not render any service when requested by the distress customers. I am trading under the Kotak securities for last 2 years and and at no point of time the company came forward to rescue me from any difficulties that I faced and not even the minimum courtesy to give a reply to any of my e-mails. The trading tools, the company claimed to be the best one is nothing but non-sense. The technical terms that the company used in the said tools are very difficulties to understand by layman and the company has not given the glossary of those terms any- where and for that reasons I choose UTV money for trading. Even if you filled-up the login filed as provided by the company correctly, you received error message and after 3 attempts , the password get locked and to get a new password you are required to submit a request for the same and for that the company charges extra sum . The most disgusting is that the company login site frequently goes out and you have to make several login in at regular intervals.

                                    I have already loose considerable amount of because of this difficulties in login the company's site and I have decided to switch over to some other brokerage service and please help me to get out of this company and give me guidance to transfer my account to any other trading service provider. Thank You.

                                      this is to inform you that a/c XLWR3 has been handling since last 1.5 months after many times request by mr. ranjit mishandled the a/x and not it is almost total loss of 42000 to 45000 rs. in Nov. itself only.

                                      al it started when he told me to start derivatives and i told him that i dont have any knoweldge of call , put, derivatives, open interest , futures and he told me that not to worry i will handle ur a/c without making losses though he already handled and put my a/c in loss in CASH also. after making lots of efforts he made me agree to do this and in the begining he was going okay but suddenly he started doing trades furiously and all this ended in the loss of[protected]. and after that he plan to leave fromthis job, and he repeatedly calls me to sign the ledger confirmation, to release him early from the job, but i didnt, and told him to pay the losses he made to me, the ledger showing 29000 some odd amt which i made loss in the month but added to this amt. two to four times the debitfalls in my a/c and scrips sold to bear the losses he traded.

                                      and when i didnt sign the ledger confirmation, mr. ranjit and mr. sumit called me to sign the document to realease him earliers as possible. but i deny.

                                        At the offset let me clarify, my name is Anand S from Chennai and iam in noway connected with services of M/s Kotak Securities

                                        My complaint against M/s Kotak Securities, is that they are sending to my email ID contract notes/margin statements which is supposed to reach one of their customer by name Anand Sankar Agarwal to my email id anand.[protected]@sify.com.

                                        I have represented this written mail to them 3 times in last 5 months, details provided below

                                        1. First representation Vide email to kotak securites, they acknowledged it with Ref SR No:1-[protected] dt 12/05/2011. No action was taken, on my reminder mail they just replied stating regret the inconvenience and i need to "bear" with that and simply ignore such mails, till they look into it !!!

                                        After this also I continued getting mails addressed me as "Anand Sankar Agarwal" and this continued on daily basis !!!

                                        Please note - contract note/margin statements is an important document to a shares customer and just see how secured is Kotak in delivering to wrong email addresses !!! Just imagine how much secured is their system and process ???

                                        2. Follow-up representation Vide email to kotak securites, they acknowledged it with Ref SR No:[protected] dt 04/10/2011. No action was taken, on my reminder mail they just replied standard reply stating regret the inconvenience and i need to "bear" with that and simply ignore such mails, till they look into it and rectify !!!

                                        Till today morning iam getting unwarranted contract notes/margin statements.

                                        Kindly help me resolve this throu your forum and its frustrating to further remind to such unprofessional group like M/s Kotak Securities!!!
