Sub: Complaint against Mr. Sudip Modak, proprietor of M/s Shiba Appliences, Kamalgazi
as well as your company’s service engineer vide case no. [protected]

Sir/Madam,

I would like to inform that I have procured one Kutchina Samrtec(BK) Chimney on March 2017 from Mr. Sudip Modak, proprietor of M/s Shiba Appliances, Pratap Gard, Kamalgazi, Kolkata- 700149. Then I made three years Service Agreement (with spare) with him on February 2018 by payment of Rs.4, 000/- with a agreement period of from 25.03.2018 to 25.03.2021(copy attached).

But at the time of third service on March 2018 under Warranty Period there was a problem of Oil drop from right Vane. So the servicing staff removed the rubber guard and assured to replace the same with in the week. The servicing staff went back without servicing the machine though it was within the Warranty period.

The service staff from M/s Shiva Appliances came two times thereafter but till date no service has been done even I made service Agreement with Mr Modak.

On the other side I registered compliant with Kutchina on August 2018 with case no. [protected]. Your service engineer has visited and checked the machine on last week of August 2018 after my second call. But he has also assured to replace the rubber guard.
The assurance has been given by both M/s Shiva Appliances as well as your company’s service engineer. But still the rubber guard has not replaced by anybody and no service has been done by Mr. Sudip Modak.

Being a branded company the customer will expect proper service within the warranty period as well as service from your authorised agent after signing the service agreement.

I have personally visited Mr. Modak's shop-cum-office about four times and finally I have sent email to him on 10th December 2018 but no action has been taken by Mr. Modak though I have purchased a Brandad Product like Kutchina and even after payment of Rs.4, 000/- for AMC.

Copies of all documents are attached for your immediate action.

My product is running with out service over a period of nine(9) months.
I expect you action my 0ne day or two.

    Hi,

    I am writing today to complain of the poor service i received from your company from last one month.

    I have requested for chimney cleaning as per annual maintenance contract on[protected]Case no [protected]). Company service representative was supposed to visit in 2 working days. However i again spoke to the toll free no on[protected] since nobody visited our home. Again similar assurance was given but nothing happened.

    Infact i personally visited kutchina service center office situated in ulubari, guwahati on[protected] and again requested for the service. The service manager acknowledged the same and promised for a prompt service withing 24 hours. However nothing has happened till now inspite of several requests over phone to the toll free no/local service center landline no. Only false promises have been made.

    I have already paid rs 5074 for a 3 years contract and now feeling being cheated.

    I trust this is not the way that kutchina wishes to conduct business with valued customers — i have been using kutchina products for last 6-7 years and have never encountered such treatment before. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss matters further and to learn of how you propose to prevent a similar situation from recurring. I look forward to hearing from you.

      I have lodge a complain for non functional of the water purifier on 14th november, 2018 with your local office at guwahati for which an amc is on force. But till date my complain could not be resolve by your technician.in this regard it may be mentioned that i have contacted your kolkata office also, thrice over phone.         Moduler kitchen was purchased on 19.02.2015 by ila bandhu ([protected]). Slider of top rake not working staying.in this regard complain was lodge but your company demanded visiting charge though it is in under warranty period of five years. There is clearly mentioned in warranty card that company will replace the damage parts with free of cost within warranty period.
        This is very astonishing please look into the matter and rectify.

          The light off chimney bursted on 25th november 2018 and became fuse. It was bought by me on 03.12.2017. I complained on 27.11.2018 to local customer care by phone and she assured me that, the service will be provided within day 1 or 2. But still no mechanic either attend to repair or no response from that side. Where as my 1 year warranty will end on 03.12.2018. Will take responsibility kutchina authority seriously???

            I have brought new chimney (Model: freshy) in january.
            After its first servicing, a fan got damaged within a month. Now i have been asked to pay the charges for the damaged parts even though it is because of improper servicing, also the product is still under 1-year warranty for any defects.
            Now i also have a concern about there service quality and customer support.

              Hi, i bought kutchina forbes model chimney in this september'18 only and as
              I started using it i found that its led lamp and auto manual function both are not working and immediately submitted the complaint and got the answer from customer service that the issue will be resolved in next 2- 3 days but till now its been already 1 month since i have registered the complaint and even after 2- 3 follow ups with customer care none of the technician visit is there. I really dont understand why you guys are branding this much on media when you can't provide after sale service obviously my recommendation is 0 and as my product is under warranty so now i just want you to please pick your product from my home as it is not of any use. Stop such type of pathetic service which is only killing my time. If you wish to check the status please check with my registered number [protected]. You are giving this kind of service in new delhi what you will do in other areas.

                Hello,

                My name is Vinay and I own a Kutchina glass hob model 'HB 4BX DLX MF' with registered number [protected], I purchased this on 4th Jan'18 which was the happiest moment. However right after that we started to face gas leak issue from the burner we initially thought it could be because it's new but it continued so I officially launched a complaint on 17th Jan'18. Right from this moment froward my interactions with your service center team started and I did not expect it to be such a long and harassing process.

                It's been 11 months and my issue still persists/exists/non-resolved, the service team response never changes (It won't happen again & everything will be fine) like its some sort of verbatim and they have been trained to say so at all times. But in all this 11 months they have failed to resolve my only issue and serious issue of gas leak, you could see in your record on the number of times I have complained officially. I have also called your technicians on numerous occasions and complained (Ph# [protected] I could pull up my phone records for this). I finally got tired of this cat and mouse game and told them to take the hob and send it for testing so they have taken it from my home as of 14th Nov and I'm using a rented stove for now.

                I'm writing this email as my warranty will be expired by end of Dec'18 and issue till persists. I have been provided with a defective product as I have heard from your service team that this usually do not happen with your products. I would like you to replace it with a newer one immediately as I'm running out of time, as this is clearly not my fault and the company is putting me and my family at risk of a gas leak. Pls help me take necessary action on them.

                  I purchased kutchina kitchen chimney (Vogue ss) in 01.04.2014. I renewed service with amc and my chimney motor warranty was 9 years. Now my kitchen chimney don't work properly and called service mechanic they told me that your kitchen chimney motor was damaged and it will be replaced. Then they came and replace with old used repair motor. I was surprised and told him to replace with new one. He replied no new motor will be replaced. I asked him that when your tv damage the company repair the circuit board or replace with new one. He was silent. He didn't answer me with proper solution. This is my story. So friends don't buy any kutchina product, they're cheating the innocent customer. So be careful.

                  I have purchased Chimney through Mr. Rama Chandra Jena, sales representative, Kuchina, staying at Bansdroni-Garia, Kolkata. The Chimney was booked on 12.08 2018, model is SCOTT and I have paid Rs. 18000/- and additional Rs. 1000/-for installation of aluminum pipe for Chimney, it is already more than two months, he hasn't installed the pipe.

                    I was purchase a chimney on[protected] which service on oct, 18. I was book a request over telephone on[protected]. But till today i was complaint 8-9 times on toll-free no-[protected] for non servicing. Every time the receiver from toll-free call centre staff said that servicing of my chimney will be within 2-3 days. Till today no one call me for that. Therefore i am really unhappy for your service and i never purchase a kutchina product and i never refer someone for purchase a kutchina product.

                      I've enquiry for kutchina chimney on 7th nov and pay all money on same day. As there was no doubt on kutchina product /services.
                      Around 4 pm product delivered till then i was satisfied but got surprised with technician activity. The quality of work was not at all accepted. He has make whole on wall with out plan and the cause make multiple whole which damage wall. He was bit busy to blame sales man. Continuously he was using slag against kutchina (I've recorded his voice). Being a salaried employee i always produce same priority to my organization as much my family. But don't understand, kutchina how choose this type guy who is complaining against other employees against kutchina in front of customer. He has asked money for installation
                      I asked sales man (Bidwajit banik) re demo and repair damage wall but he not yet contacted.

                            Hi

                            Before giving final order, i have repeatedly said to seller that if you would be able to install chimney well without any breakage in modular kitchen then take order otherwise dont take & he said it is there regular work & he has promised everything will be ok. Later while installing chimney, he broken or made scratches in cabinet. It seems his machine was not working properly & that slipped from hand & several scratches made. It is good for me that i have not made payments to chimney just given token money.
                            I have kept chimney in my custody. I have given two options to seller either repair my kitchen & take back your chimney or install chimney & i will deduct the repair expenses which would come around rs 4000 to rs 5000. Now it has been more than 10 days around but i have not got any response & salesman is not picking my phone also. I have ordered kutchina smarty dlx model for rs 20000

Swadesh acharya purchasing a 'kutchina fieona ss' model auto claen sysytem from m/s elegance interior, bapuji nagar, bhubaneswar who was your autentic distribution in bhubaneswar. I have already paid the bill &/ gift amount as he said. But till yet i have not received the bill copy and also the gift from the distributor. Though i have talk with the distributor so many time regarding bill copy & gift but he charged us for extra money.

                                The product purchased on 3rd oct 2018 flashy dlx cooktop from naresh trading, raipur c. G it is defective from the day one which was complained on 4th oct itself... To customer care tollfree and to the retailer of the product.. On 6th oct they sent lokesh for repairing the product he replaced the lighter and went back.. Then also problem persist of flickring in 3 burners.. Again some other senior technician came from service centre and told their is fault, i asked them to replace the cooktop with new one it was twice replaced from esha marketing raipur, but still the product is damaged and in not functioning properly.. Which was conveyed to mr. G. L. Sahu many times and to owner of esha marketing.. I asked them for refund of money... They said it can only be done from where you have purchased... All the matter was conveyed to the owner mr. Hemat goel... Now i have decided to return the product and get the refund for the same... Now he is not refunding money and saying that he will deduct 18% gst for the product this is just not correct, i feel cheated and highly disappointed from both the side company as well as from from seller... I want my money back... Will never recommend any one to purchase your product... I was genuine customer of kutchina and was using your chimney from last 10yrs and cooktop from 5 yrs...                                   We are using the kuchina smart tac from last 3 years. We did the amc in regular basis. From our last service we observed leakage of oil from suction pipe, which we have informed the service person. But he said that is not his part and we need to communicate service center. We also communicate with kalyani branch. One senior person visited but problem remain same.

                                  My question: if same thing happening why should we go for amc every year. Is the suction pipe is excluded from amc. Then who will take care of it? Should we go for outsources it.
                                  We are with kuchina for his excellence of service not for the negligence.

                                    I have bought a kitchen chimney but the chimney is not at all working. The oil collector portion is empty. All over the kitchen oil is spreading. No vapour is going inside the chimney. I have called the sales person several times but he haven't responded my call. The sales person is just telling that is whatsapp that he will come tomorrow but he is not coming at all. The chimney showroom is in mrinalini. Please solve my problem as soon as possible.

                                      I have purchased a smartly dlc 75 from your agent goutam petra on 30.08.2018. The same has been delivered with out alluminium pipe to my residence on 30th september 2018 after a span more or less one month. No tax invoice is received till today. The service before sales is very bad and after sales may be questionable. My phone number is [protected]. Now the company is stating that aluminium pipe is not available at their store. This is very much unfortunate. Due to non availability of pipe the machine has not been installed.

                                        I have purchased the kutchina SELESTA chimney model about 2 yrs ago. From starting we are facing problems regarding the same product and we have registered many complaints with the complaint no provided but every time we don't receive any services. The after sale services you promised to provide are not fulfillrd and we are so very diappointed. I regret buying the product from your company wil always ensure to tell every person I know to never buy anything from your company. If you promise someting to someone you must ensure to fulfill those promises and don't go back on your words. We have functions at home and since chimmney is not working we face problems while cooking. I purchases the product for making cooking easier at home but I am thoroughly disappointed with hte product amd would never recommend anyone to buy the same product.
