Dear Sir,

I had lodged a complaint through customer care telephone. One service executive visited promptly and after testing the TV remote suggested to buy a new one which i agreed to. After 2 days he delivered the TV remote, however asked to pay additional Rs.287/- as delivery charges. I confronted him as customer care executive had told me that no service charges are payable if you buy the remote. If you refuse to buy the remote, then you need o pay Rs.250 plus taxes. After discussion, the service executive reduced the service charges to Rs.100 plus taxes which i refused to pay but the executive billed me along with this amount and asked me to pay. finally, i had to pay under protest. I would like to know if his demand was genuine and as per the company rule. If not, please arrange to refund Rs.115/- charged as service/delivery charge.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Even after so much exercise of evaluation of various LED brands in Indian market like Sony, Samsung, Videocon & LG, I have chosen & purchased LG 42 inches LED on dated 25th Oct, 2014 assuming its goods services & less maintenance cost for future. However, within warranty period I have faced bad services of an improper quality product I have ever experienced as per my below sequential observations:

    1.On dated 5th Sep, 2016 while watching LED I have observed a bulb light suddenly reflecting from inside of LED display screen which continuously increased on frequent basis from 1 bulb light to 4 bulb lights in a rectangular form on the screen (refer attached Video No-01as an evidence).

    2.Upon such failure I have called LG customer care wherein after my continues follow up over phone on Customer Care an Service Engineer has visited & conveyed us that the captioned issue in display has occurred due to failure in Panel & confirmed that the issue in LED is due to Panel failure which needs to be replaced within next 3 days upon its availability. More so at same time it has been informed to us about the estimated cost of Rs. 6, 000.00 towards such Panel replacement in lieu of LED under Non-warranty period.

    3.Upon my own re-confirmation on warranty I found my LED has covered under 1+1 years extended warranty and is effective till 25th Oct, 2016 and same has been informed to your Service Engineer wherein on dated 17th Sep, 2016, your another service Engineer has resolved the above display issued by replacing all the LED bulbs of the panel with no extra charges considering above Warranty Coverage (refer attached Video No-02 as an evidence).

    4.On dated 04, Oct’2016, it has been observed that again in my LED a new issue has occur wherein the display while in running will be become blur at multiple time (refer attached Video No-03 as an evidence).

    5.On dated 09, Oct’2016, it has been observed that in addition to above issue in my LED for some times the display will be become suddenly half screen (refer attached Video No-04 as an evidence).

    As cleared in above that LG Customer Service section has rectified my LED only one time by considering Warranty coverage however above are the continues issued still persists which upon after this month if called to their Service Team will be chargeable on heavy basis considering LED will be out of warranty and the issues are due to BAD quality Product.

    Hence in view of above ground I request you to kindly instruct the manufacturer to either exchange my LED TV or extend my warranty period till further two years since I am not in a condition to pay on frequent basis errors arising in LG LED and being a customer I am fad up of such bad quality LED TV purchased from LG & I am feeling regret of my decision of purchasing LED of LG brand.

      My lg microwave oven has broke down.
      Complaint was lodged with customer care, - complaint no.[protected]. However, after more than 24 hours, a technician from the local franchisee on calling to seek address (When all the details are supposed to be with him) repeatedly harps on the money that is payable for different situations without even bothering to attend the complaint. It is really discouraging and disappointing to receive such a poor service from a reputed company like lg. I am inclined to discontinue patronizing lg products.

      Please look into it urgently.

        I purchased model no. Fh0b8qdl22 front load washing machine on 22/10/16. After setting child lock system, it was found that after pressing the power button, the machine becomes shut down. But as per manual "after setting child lock, it can only be deactivated by setting cancel process. Turning power off and operation errors will not affect child lock." in front load system the power button and all keys are in front. My child who is 3 years old can reach any time when the machine is in operation. Hence after setting the child lock and any time if press the power button, then the entire machine becomes power off and again somebody have to restart the machine again. Then what is the function of child lock system? There are number of models where this facility is available and i purchased the model with "child lock" facility only to run the machine uninterrupted manner when it is in "child lock" mode.

          I had bought a fridge bearing model no: rfgl-478-grq4 on 15.11.2012 from essential electronics - panaji-goa
          My complaint number : rna[protected] & rna[protected].
          Technician mob: [protected]
          The service engineer who had attended to my complaint, after checking the problem informed me that the main pcb bearing no: ebr[protected] is not working and he will come & install the new pcb. it has been 15 days since i had complaint, repeated calling up to the technician did not give me any results, & now he tells me that the particular model of the fridge is discontinued by the company & the pcb is not available for that reason. if an company which launches electronics products & does not have spares for the same, where will the customer go to buy the same. i had paid rs. 39500/- for the fridge & that is not a small amount for a middle class family. i hope i get some justice on the same immediately or else i shall be forced to lodge a formal complaint to the consumer court. waiting for revert.
          Your colleague ms. juliet (mob: [protected]) has got the audacity call up and tell us that for the fridge which is not working & neither the part is available, she will offer us 35% discount on the new fridge which i have to buy, from lg, what is the guarantee that for the new fridge also this would not happen.
          Lg company is taking the customer for a royal ride.
          I want 100% replacement for the fridge.

            Through proper channel

            Sir,

            The gas refilling done in refrigerator on 12/05/2016 due to no cooling, in-spite lapse of a very short period, again same problem repeating, i. e, it’s not cooling.

            P. s. : no charges (already paid rs. 1, 350/-) will be applicable again due to under warranty of season (as per engineer's statement)

            I am suffering mental agony and harassment, which could not be compensated in the terms of money due to irresponsible and negligence in the service of reputed brand, lg company.

            So, look into this matter seriously and solve this matter at your end, do needful action immediate without any charges, otherwise i will compelled to forward this matter to ceo & legal department for vindication of my right.

              I have register a complaint near by your service centre. Your person came but our problem did not resolved. There is no one responsible person. He did not find out the exact problem. There is some problem in tvs parts. Our product is under warranty. I want a proper solution. Parts need to be change. Please changed it. With in 24 hours if problem is not resolved. I will take a legal action against lg.

                Dear LG,

                I bought my lg g4 phone on nov 11 2015. After few days itself phone started to show battery problem and heating issues. So, i bought extra battery. But 2 weeks back my phone was dead. I went to service center and they replaced me with new mother board.
                Ps: thank god i had warranty and for the first time lg accepted any warranty.

                But, that service was for name sake just to turn on the phone. The real problem started. Now, the phone battery back up is 2-4 hours maximum which is pathetic for any smart phone.
                Ps: i have bought extra new Battery. And it gives same 2-4 hours of backup with the new Battery as well, so you can't say that it's Battery problem.

                I went again to service center on last saturday. That same guy said that it's due to some applications. I said which application? He said he doesn't know.
                Ps: i had only limited day to day apps. There was no single game app installed.

                Then i showed him battery usage. It was clearly mentioned that more than 60-70 % of the battery was due to phone idle and display. Of which around 40% was due to phone idle.
                Ps: Big LOL for that. Seriously phone battery drains due to phone idle?

                He didn't even observe anything and Just said he will flash the phone. I agreed. Then he flashed the phone. I sat there for 3-5 minutes to check if it's working fine. I just turned on internet and downloaded 2 apps. Phone battery went from 97-85 in Just say 5-7 minutes. Phone was heated like hell. Then i showed him again. He said, he flashed the phone. Now he can't help. That's LG's policy.
                Ps: seriously?

                I said i would raise a complaint. He Said do whatever you want to do. I came home and called toll free number. They said they would call me in 24 hours. I kept on waiting. Called again today, they said to call regional manager. I called him, he connected me to the person who repaired my phone. And said same thing like before. Then finally he gave me karnataka state head manager's number. He said same thing. He said our lg g4 phone heats a lot. And yes there are battery issues. So we can't help.

                Ps: seriously? You Clearly said that there is problem with the g4 phones but you will not rectify the issues? That's flagship phone, right?

                I again called toll free number. They said they will call me in 3 hours. No one called up.
                Again i called. And screwed them. And they said they will call in 30 mins.

                Ps: 24 hours to 3 hours to 30 mins? Is that a joke or what?

                Finally i got a call.

                Ps: miracle done by LG.

                He understood my problem. And After 30 mins of talk, you know what he said?
                Sir, i can't help you. You please contact service centre.

                LOL. Seriously? Again? Round and round?

                I asked him to connect to his mamager.

                He denied saying he can't help. He again made it round and told me to write mail.

                Ps: my phone battery was 78% while composing this mail and now it's 45%. Big Lol again
                What is meant by service centre?
                Why do we buy flagship phones?
                Why should we trust Lg?
                Who will provide resolution?
                Is it true that LG only tries to sell it's product And not provide any service?
                Should i throw away my phone?
                Never trust LG again?
                Go to service center every day which is 50 kms up and down?
                Is there anything called customer satisfaction?
                Should i go to consumer court?
                What should i do?

                PS: do you know the best thing about apple or htc or samsung phones?
                They observe the phone first.
                1. Repair it if possible
                2. Replace it new phone
                3. Or refund the full amount

                In LG's case:
                Sir, we can't help. You can do whatever you want to do.

                  Purchased LG 168 side by side Refregirator on 12th Oct. On 13th it was installed and by evening we noticed that it was NOT functioning properly. Hence, we called LG Service center. One Technician landed and said a part has to be replaced. As it was not functioning from day one, i asked for a REPLACEMENT. Since then, it has been attended to. Very bad service. Irresponsible Area manager. No replacement even after 12 days. Paid Rs. 72000. Has no courtesy to call back customer to enquire about the problem. I had to make 20 calls to reach out to technician and dealer.

                  When I call up, I have been told that approval has to come and no replacement yet. They are highly irresponsive. Both Area manager (Bangalore south) and Technical Manager are very bad and rude.

                  Dealer keeps promising a replacement but I am running from piller to post to get this. Very bad experience

                      Hi LG,
                      Responsible leaders,
                      We took LG TV MODEL 42PT350R ON 14/02/2012. The TV stopped working now in first week of October. When we complained the guy who came from the lg said that the screen will either be repaired or replaced in two days. Since then we have talked to lg several times. They agree that in two days someone will come & put the screen in but then nobody came & then they called and said that we can only pay 35% as per depreciation & also not what we had paid 2 months ago for the warranty extention for 1 year, i.e. Rs4420. We had bought the set for Rs 31942/-
                      It seems they have the screen that's why they agreed to put it but then some officer at lg is trying to sell us another TV leading to our loss else they would not have promised that they have the screen & someone will come to put it, in the first place. As per warranty, if LG wants, it can replace the set for a new equivalent set but they have not mentioned that yet.
                      we want to settle it peacefully if possible or else we will be forced to go to various consumer forums & on social media. We are looking out for the new screen that works well on this set or else a new set of same size & at least of same specifications. Please help us get it resolved as soon as possible. My father has mental illness who bought it. He was hospitalized & due to stress has some memory issues now & Lg guys are troubling him by repeated calls & just by not resolving it. He needs rest. We will file for compensation for mental torture, agony, stress & harrasement also. So Lg better act seriously & promptly.

                        I had purchased one plasma tv in 17.09.2013. That had gone out of order (Black
                        Screen) a week back. I had lodged a complain no-rna[protected] for model no-
                        42pn4500. Atr. Yesterday, i had received a call from service centre that part is
                        Not available and we can't repair your tv as this is very old tv and parts are not
                        Available (Actually only 3 year old one) i have never ever thought that i would get
                        This type of response from lg company. Simply it's unbelievable. After further
                        Discussion i came to know that i will be compensated by the depreciated value of
                        The tv in purchasing the new tv of lg.

                        I would like to draw your attention that this is simply breach of trust. Normally
                        Household goods are meant for 10 years or more for a medium class family who had
                        Managed funds from his savings and bought a tv on emi. As per accounting standards
                        My tv cost comes very less with depreciation and i will not be able to manage
                        Funds to buy new one. So i will not accept this proposal.

                        I am your customer and i want the solution not compensation. Either you people
                        Arrange the parts and repair my tv or replace this with new one because lg company
                        Is at fault that they are not providing the parts of the tv which they had sold
                        Just 3 years back.

                        I had called ccc to know the status as i was informed day before yesterday knight that i will get a call from the service centre. Two of the cc officer disconnected my phone. Third one mr. Ibrahim cc officer informed me that an engineer of the service centre has updated in his report that customer does not want to get the defected part replaced. I had confirmed over phone that this is completely wrong and misguiding report. Then he had promised me that i will inquire and will give you call back in 15 minutes and blocked my number ([protected]) which is registered with lg. Then from other cell i had connected to mr. Puneet a cc officer. He informed me that he can not help me. I have to contact service centre and take follow up.

                        I am very surprised to see such a pathetic response from ccc. No one is interested in my problem. Ccc is only listing to me and they have only one objective how to get rid off customer call. They are least bothered to the customer issue and they are not forwardig issue to the competent authority who can take prompt action and solve the customer issue. Customer is harassed by the service centre and getting suggestion from ccc that you have to contact the service centre only lg company can not do anything.

                        I am not doing anything by my choice. I am facing difficulty and not interested in changing my tv. This is company incompetency that they are not able to provide the service or change the part of the tv. If this would have been my choice i would have opted for depriciation offer given by the service centre but in this case company should take a call for replacement of a tv with similar specification and price.

                        Finally i can say that company is least concerned with the customer issues and service centre and ccc is destroying the goodwill and trust of the company.

                          Well I would not have come up till here until I had no other choice! I was a proud LG Nexus 5x customer which I had purchased in Dec 2015. But lately i had started facing troubles in my phone which were call dropping, voice cracking, camera starting issues & most importantly phone getting hang. All this started in July 2016 when these issues started getting frequent. I as a normal customer approached your customer service team & I was directed to a service center in sodala, Jaipur. I'll cut short the story here, they restored the software of my phone 2 times in total, & they then replaced the motherboard of the phone. Then after like 10-15 days I started experiencing the same issues again & since I was out of network during my travels in September month, I approached your service team at sodala center again & that time I was told that the service center has been closed & then I was directed to the service center in Malviya Nagar, Jaipur (who's service center's manager is Mr. Krishan Yadav). I went there & there also again I was being asked to follow the whole procedure again as if they did not recognized the other service centers other than theirs'. They then replaced the motherboard of the phone again (dated 19th Oct 2016, this is the 2nd time!) & The manager there assured me that they will put forward for may be a replacement if the problem arises again (till that time even I had not mentioned to them anything about replacement!). Just after the phone was handed over to me by the technician viz. Mr. Harinder Sharma & I was setting up my Google account then & there only I experienced a small lag in the processing which i informed the technician immediately which he over ruled it by saying that let the phone restart again or so. I then experienced call drop once as I was making a call to home just in front of him! I ignored then & thought it'll be fine if I continue to use it. But the very next day the camera starting issue started & it stopped working completely! After that the phone started to hang. I then contacted the manager of the service center & he then through the technician asked me to keep the phone with them for testing. I did exactly as they asked me to (without getting a replacement phone & stayed without a handset for the time being). At the time I had handed over the phone to the technician the camera issue was still persistent which the technician also acknowledged. This was on 20th Oct 2016. Now today the 21st Oct 2016, I went to the service center again upon their request & I was handed back the phone saying that there is no problem in this. Well as they say truth always prevail, as soon as the technician handed over the phone ontoy hands, I checked the functioning of the camera which didn't worked. I immediately showed it to the technician & he took the phone onto his hands & while it was in his hands only the phone got hang & got restarted by itself. To this the technician was again overruling & trying to convince me that how can the problem come even after the motherboard replacement! This guy being dodgy with his words, I called for the manager in order to meet him & explain the situation. But again the gentleman was trying to convince me back that it's not a problem & you use it, it will be alright. I even asked him to ask the technician about the problem which occurred right in front of his eyes & he was called upon & asked to which the technician bluntly refused & said everything is fine!! This was the moment when I LOST MY FAITH IN YOUR SERVICE & THE BRAND AS A WHOLE! the manager was now more aggressive with his words to convince me to take back my phone & telling me that I'm doing all this just to get my phone replaced!! He then literally kind of got up from his chair & moved to exiting his own cabin (which is a clear indication of asking me to leave) to which I also got up & then he switched of the lights while I still was inside the cabin & then we both left the room together without concluding over ongoing conversation! SO THIS IS HOW LG TREATS ITS CUSTOMERS. I at this point can swear that I was totally behaving professionally but politely & the argument we were having were completely healthy. Still this is how I got out of the service center. The technician didn't even then take my receiving of the phone & take my signature & feedback! (No fixed protocols for following the general service SOPs).

                          Thus, in order to prove my point I have taken few short videos depicting the issues I have explained which your service guys were not ready to even see & understand!

                          I am experiencing such pathetic service for the first time as I myself am into the service industry & I understand the nature of work these guys have to do & kind of customers they deal with! But this was very bad & not at all as per the standards of the brand name you are carrying. Also, I have used Nexus 5 previously which was a marvellous phone & never gave me any trouble. But after such repeated issues even after so many repairs i am loosing my trust & reliability on Nexus 5x as a product & LG as a brand!

                          Note: even while writing this I faced the 'hand' issue at least 8 times & I had to wait for the device to get restarted on it own! Also twice the finger print sensor didn't work while trying to unlock the phone after restart. This is bad, very bad!

                          P.S. am attaching few videos & pictures here as proof as I cannot bear the feeling of being overruled again on my point as got at your service center in Jaipur.

                                Purchased led tv model 42ln5710 on 18/052014. Within 2 years its hdmi port stopped working. Lodged complaint with lg service in september 16. They forwarded the complaint to their local service centre for further action. Local service person called after a week of follow up and on phone only diagnosed problem as pcb to be changed. As he was not having the same in stock he asked me to wait till stock comes. After he received the stock after a week he phoned and took appointment from me but never turned up for last more than 15 days

                                    I have fuzzy logic 9 washing machine and suddenly it gave error to indicate cover is not closed. on checking find out that the cover magnet is missing. to make sure it is the fault i used small magnet in the place where it should be and started using the unit. it worked without any problem.
                                    Contacted service center in kandy sri-lanka by email to buy a magnet. no reply received, contacted head office in colombo and i was advised to contact service manager in kandy (tel: [protected])

                                    When contacted i was informed that they can not sell the magnet.

                                    I am using the system keeping small magnet where it should be.

                                    I am very unhappy about this situation.

                                    I will never by lg again and discourage the other people not to buy lg.

                                      I had purchased a washing machine from LG Electronics on 2009 for Rs. 23500/- .On 10/10/2016 the machine suddenly stop working. On 12/10/2016 I lodged a complain with LG, complain no. RNA[protected]. A service engineer came on same day and inspect the machine and told that there is drum problem and charged Rs. 287.00 as inspection fees with a promise that he will come back with the estimate for the repair / replacement of drum. After 5 days when I inquired about my complaint he told me that the part is not available as the company has stopped manufacturing this model. My Washing machine Model no is WD-80485NP. Sl. No. 905PNRT006102.
                                      I had talked to their service provider and the Lg help line supervisor many times but without any result. Finally I was told by LG representative that the machine can not be repaired any more since it is more than six years old.
                                      I now request the concerned official either you buy back the machine from me or arranged to repair the same at the earliest or pay me the depriciated value of the machine at the earliest.
                                      Please note that when I purchased the machine I was not told that the machines parts will not be available after six years. This is the fault of the Company and for no fault of mine why I should be penalized. Why my hard earn money will go in waste .
                                      I, Therefore request you to do the needful at the earliest.
