I have purchased lg washing machine 4 yrs back.

It suddenly started giving problem in the pcb. When ever i tried to select the mode for 30 minutes the power fluctuates and it goes to another mode.

I tried launching complain at lg electronics customer service centre and number are not reachable and was not getting connected for hours.

Suddenly it got connected.
They guys who are sitting are also pathetic. They keep me asking question to launch the complain and took my details and the phone got disconnected. They didn't even bother to call me back.
Again i tried and the lg electronics customer care was not working.

Finally i succeeded and i go the call. The visiting charge is rs. 450 + taxex which is killing. It sound like i have been cheated buying lg washing machine.

Lg is a parasites sucking money from the customer through selling expensive parts, un-ethical visiting charges and manufacturing low quality electronic products.

The engineer finally visited my home and said the pcb needs to be replaced and can not be repaired. He said lg only does the replacement of parts and dosn't do any repair activity.

The cost of the pcb is rs. 4500 with only 6 mts warranty and rs. 500 labour charges for which the engineers comes and do one thing but asking customer to change the parts.

I would recommend to support the message as much as possible and also put on social media so no one should buy the lg products in the market and get cheated.

    I have had Samsung phones for the last several phones I have had through Verizon. After some issues with them I decided to try LG, the G5. I ordered it over he phone win Verizon and was sold on the monthly payment plan for the phone at $624.
    I received the phone and was loving it. After only 21 days o[censored]sing the phone I could no longer get the phone on or off. Even from sleep mode the power button was not working. I had to touch it over 10-15 times at different angles to get it to turn on. Verizon would not take the phone back since it was over the 14 day, no questions asked period. So I contacted LG to repair the issue.
    I am in Hawaii so understand things take a little longer. I sent the phone on May 22 ( a week after getting label because I work and the closest fed ex location is over 35 min away.). It sent the 22nd and I received an email 5/31 that the phone was received. I then got the phone back 2 weeks later on 6/ 13. I took it out of package and inserted the chin with battery and it would not fit properly. It would not click in. So no I have to go through the whole process again for a brand new phone.
    I called immediately and explained the issue to the tech and our call got dropped. I anticipate a call back since she had my number, but did not get one. So I had to call back again and explain everything again. I explained my dismay in lg products and I would like to speak to a supervisor. I was told a report was made and I would get a call from a supervisor the next day. In the mean time to fill out repair ticket in a link I was sent. I went to that link and was unable to complete it due to my address being Hawaii.
    Next day I waited for supervisor call, never got. So 1:14 Hawaii time I called. After having to relay story again... I finally Spoke to supervisor that confirmed I need to send battery, apologized for how long it took last time and said he would send me an expedited/express label. I explained how unhappy. Was that I paid for a new phone and am paying monthly for a phone that I am not even using. And now it will have a replaced board and replaced battery pack..might as well have bought a refurbished.. At one point someone told me to suspend my service so I want paying for it...but I have t have it..no land line. Stuck using my broke screen phone that doesn't hold a charge...whole reason I bought new one...After an hour on the phone (59 min 32 sec), I anticipated the label.
    Next day still had not gotten label. Called again. After going through story again...Was told they would send it. I did get it via email. It was for ground. I called again to verify this was correct label and would be faster. Was told yes.
    I brought the phone to fed ex, (which is a 35 min one way drive for me) and was told they cannot ship with the battery. (But I was told by supervisor to send battery.)... Called support again and went through story AGAIN. this time to add insult to injury the gal tells me that the techs said the phone was working fine when they sent it back... The power was working...but something got screwed up and battery wouldn't fit in.. She then tells me that I should be able to send it with that label and to go back to fed ex and she will talk to her...it is already 5 pm and they are closed. I have to go all the way back home and try again. So first thing in the morning I call again and she wouldn't give me to supervisor, just kept telling me that they have always worked with fed ex with no problems. I don't know what to do at this point cause fed ex turns away my package. I tell her. Just need an express label and she instead wants me to drive to fed ex so she can talk to them...35 min out of my way..and I have to work. So I give her the local phone number I have for them. It ends up being the express location and they tell her the ground location down the road will take my package...she tells me to bring it there...THAT IS THE LOCATION THAT WOULDNT TAKE IT. I tell her to call back and get ground location phone number. She puts me on hold then tells me ground location doesn't have incoming line so she will call fed ex main number and work it out. I cannot hold at this point since I am at my job. She asks when I will be done and I tell her an hour. She said she will call me in an hour. 6 hours pass and I call back. Once agin having to relay my story and get told fed ex has always works with them..don't know why I am having issue. Supervisors already gone for day. Guy tells me he is filing report and will have supervisor call me first thing. I tell him I am at work and he asks what time I am available. I told him 1pm is my lunch. He said he will have someone call me at one and get me the label I need. Of course you know where this is going. No call. 1:45 I call and ask for supervisor. Once again tech tris to troubl shoot, but I know supervisor hours are almost over. And of course before I can get one they are over. He promises me Monday I will hear from someone first thing..he will personally call me back... Yip..you guessed it.. No call. So almost 11 my time I call. I spend 55 min on hold for supervisor. Another 20 explaining the issue. He tells me different department will send label in next couple hours. It is now past the time payment department is open (he told me they close at 5) and over 2 hours since I called and still no label. SINCE LAST MONDAY (one week) I HAVE SPOKE. TO 12 DIFFERENT PEOPLE, AND SPENT OVER 4 HOURS OF MY TIME ON THE PHONE AS WELL AS 75 MINUTES DRIVING TO FED EX. AND STILL AM NOT ANY CLOSER TO GETTING MY BRAND NEW PHONE FIXED AGAIN!!!
    At this point I just want a refund on this phone. I don't want an LG. Horrible phone and even worse customer support. I did not pay for a Frankenstein phone, I paid for new phone. By the time I get it back it will have new board and now new chin/battery pack, two main components of the phone. I had a tempered glass cover on screen I paid $20 for and had to have that removed so lost that money as well...
    I just paid more for a phone then I paid for my washing machine and it doesn't work. I run my business from my phone and totally rely on it, and I paid for an expensive phone to have reliability. And I have this...


    UPDATE: On Monday June 20th I spoke with a manager/supervisor that informed me a different shipping label would be sent through the payment department, as he could not. I was informed it would be emailed to me. As of today, Wed. June 23rd, I have still not received this label. I called this afternoon only to have the tech keep trying to send me a ground label and not listen to what I was needing. He told me if I wanted to talk to a supervisor I would have to call earlier, even though they would still be there for 2 hours... would NOT connect me. So 10 days later and I still have my phone and no way to send it with the battery. I will be sending it without the battery and expecting they will ensure that it works with multiple batteries before sending it back to me. I am so over your company.
    Please work with Verizon and allow me to get a refund. Unless you have a product you can stand behind, I don't want it.

        Dear Lg,
        With reference to my earlier email to you, i have got a call from LG and i came to know that i have been misguided from day 1 of my call log for my LG 55" LED TV which i had on 30th of May. Today on 23rd of may 2016, i came to know that LG doesn't have any information on their system regarding my complaint launched on 30th of may. After launching the complaint, LG's engineer (for Beed, Maharashtra-431122) visited my address and diagnosed the problem as faulty LED panel and told me that i need to order a new one and approximate estimate would be around Rs.[protected]. So i agreed to repair and asked him to order the panel for my TV and he even took Rs. 50000 in advance from me for the same. Also i had been assured from him as well as Lg serive center Aurangabad (Reliance Refrigeration) that i would get that panel in 10 days or maximum 15 days. I got this (RNA[protected] complaint number on my registered mobile number which is [protected]. But even after 15 days of not receiving my part when i called service center Aurangabad, the manager Mr. Wassam told me that due to initial unavailability of that panel it has been delayed and he also told me that now they have orderd the same from Noida and it will reach to their service center on 21st of May and immediately on second day that is 22nd of may, it will be installed. So on 21st of may when i contacted Mr. Wassam for the same, he assured mr that they have received my panel and they were arranging a separate private vehicle to send it at my address (which is beed, Maharashtra-431122) instead of the regular transport as it had already been delayed and to avoid any transport damage as it's large in size. And Mr. Wassam also assured me that it will be installed at my place immediately on Wednsday 22nd of may upto maximum 6:00-6:30pm which i didn't get.
        So today on 23rd of may when i got contacted by Lg online grievance cell, i came to know that lg doesn't have any information regarding the complaint i have launched and after further inquiry, we came to know that the complaint number which i have received on my registered mobile mumber ([protected])
        is wrong and it has been registered by some person Mr. Shinde from Jalna, Maharashtra. So basically other wrong complaint number has been sent to me on my registered mobile number and still i have not received my panel even after 24 days. I just talked with the Lg Regional Manager Mr. Pankaj Kulkarni and he told me that still their service center at Aurangabad has not received any such LED panel yet and i have been told the wrong information again. He told me that he is looking into the matter and he is going to contact with the service center again for the same.
        So, this is very frustrating and unacceptable from a brand like LG. My Rs.50, 000/- have been stuck unnecessary and still my problem is as it is even after a period of almost a month.
        So, kindly look into the matter urgently and respond to the same at the earliest. I want my problem to be solved immediately and i want a compensation from the company for misguiding me wasting my time and money.

        With reference to my earlier email,
        I have been contacted by LG regarding my concern and i have been told that the part for which i paid the Rs.50, 000/- in advance is not available at the company and it may take around 2 months to make it available but until now i have been told otherwise as mentioned in my earlier complaint and i have been misguided since day 1.
        As i have already waited for almost a month i can't wait further and i demanded a compensation for the same as i have paid Rs 1.26 lacs for the product. I asked them to buy back my product and refund me the amount for the same after adjusting the depreciation. So they asked me to send the invoice copy for the same for the approval. But the email address given to me for the same is not working or wrong.(support.[protected]@lgindia.com and support.[protected]@lg.com) So hereby i am writing to you again and attaching the invoice copy for the same to be forwarded to LG.
        Kidly look into the matter urgently and respond to the same at the eraliest.

          My name is arindam mukherjee and number is [protected]. I have recently bought a lg tv on 14.5.2016. I am facing service issues from the beginning in my new tv. Sound is not coming out from the tv speakers & 3d auto format detection is not working. The last complaint i had lodged was on 27.5.2016. The complaint number is rna[protected] and it is still unresolved after nearly a month. Previously i had experienced very good service from lg and that is the reason that i have purchased this product from lg. But i am really shocked to experience such a poor support from lg. Specially since i have bought a new tv and facing problem from the beginning, i think company should have been responsible enough to take immediate steps to resolve this issue so that i don't have to go for any further action.

            We are based in mumbai and below is the problem


            This is to inform that our lg front load machine is having problems since so many months and the technicians from lg have come several amount of times with different different reasons, but still they are unable to find the actual cause of what is wrong in the machine. It is ridiculous and highly frustrating that we buy product from a well known brand and then the service guys are unable to resolve it after taking so much money and we like fools keep calling them 50 k times. I have been regretting that why did i buy lg washing machine which is just giving problems and creating mess for us. Till now lg guys have just taken our money by changing some or the other part of it and every time coming up with new reasons. 1st they changed our machine drum in which we spent almost 10 k, then they told us there is a circuit problem and took 8 k, later again we faced problems like water leakage and few more, today again they visited us and told us the circuit is not supplying enough power to the machine which was previously changed by the technicians itself and for what we had paid 8k to them already... They dont know what parts are right and wrong and what is the actual problem except for annoying and freaking our brains so after calling them for several times they kept saying that we will come and check the machine but unless we called them for 50 times in a day they dont turn up and from last few months they have been visiting us and just not able to resolve our problem. I think we have many other things to do in life except for just calling lg and screwing our brains. I will never ever buy lg products in my life and will suggest near and dear ones to not buy lg which is a brand with no proper technician and help and just taking money from customer and making money themselves. The amount i have been spending in that i could have bought a new machine and used that rather then using this machine.

            Lg should rather provide good work and product rather then making money and fooling normal people.

              i would like to inform u that i purchase a lg Refrigerator model -GL-285BSPN from dated[protected] and around 4-5 moths after i found that refrigerator cooling is so down in full temperature. then i inform to dealer but he says you contact in lg company and he's giving us a toll free no. is that [protected]-[protected]. so then i will register my complaint in lg company and he will send us a mechanic for check it . mechanic says that refrigerator cooling temp. button is not working properly and he will change this part in warranty but electricity has gone and after repair refrigerator not check properly and he's gone. next day the same issue of cooling is occurred and we calling mechanic who's coming to repair this but no response from this side . i m fully dis -satisfied from lg product and service. so i hope you giving me solution for this problem as soon as possible.

                  I had purchased an l g x – 147 bearing i m e i number [protected] / 1962 vide invoice number 460 dated 16/08/2015. But the mobile phone developed technical problems within two months such as hanging while browsing, speedy battery discharge and touchpad misfunctions. Moreover, i was unable to browse using 3g mode and the side switch also was not functioning properly. Therefore, i had contacted your service centre ‘mobile lab’ at kozhikode in november 2015. They returned the mobile after two days saying that the problems were rectified. But the phone again developed technical hitches and i had to contact the service centre in march and april 2016. The software was reinstalled twice by the service personnel but the technical snags continued.
                  I therefore sent an e-mail to [protected]@lge.com and they directed me to contact mr. Vikas sreedharan (Area service manager) who in turn directed me to approach the service centre again. As per his directions, i entrusted my mobile again at the service centre on
                  13/05/2016 (Job number rna[protected]. Since i didn’t get any intimation from their end for the next 15 days, i contacted them again and sought for a replacement as i was unable to use the phone properly since its purchase. But on the 19th day i was informed by the service centre executive that i was entitled only for a service only and not for a replacement.
                  I firmly believe that the instrument supplied to me was defective and sub – standard and it was under such circumstances it had developed technical difficulties since i started using it.

                  I have therefore lost trust in your service centre that always raises false claims. It is therefore requested that you may kindly direct your authorized personnel to initiate immediate steps

                    I'm sunil sharma & my contact number is [protected]. I have service request number: rna[protected]. Its panel has been broken last month & purchasing month of this product november 2015. The service center given feedback of this complaint this is not covered in warranty & it is chargeable service because it is mishandling case but i want to know that which type of mishandling in this case so proof this which type of damage. And also inform you that the given features of this product that :

                    Robust ips panels (In select models): lg tvs come with ips panel that is known for its robust and sturdy design. These panels are more resistant to high temperature and pressure as compare to conventional va panels.

                    So if the given features are more high temperature and pressure than how it will broke normally. If it is not broken normally then the product will be scratched, punch, falling damage or, pressurized mark etc.

                    I contact to customer care but they were not satisfying me beacause they were saying that the service engg. Saying broken then broken not covered in warranty but why not understanding customer's reason that this is not any mishandling case this is automatically damaged and also inform that this product was hanged on wall. I'm not sure but may be possible summer high temperature damaged the glass or may be possible damaged by hanging problem but the hanging on wall by service engg. (Lg).

                    So if the lg not to take necessary action than i want to check the product with third party under lg service engg. Presence.

                    If the lg brand cheating with customer then why will buy any product from lg brand. Because there given features fakes like as given above problem. (This is lg brand feature:- robust ips panels (In select models): lg tvs come with ips panel that is known for its robust and sturdy design. These panels are more resistant to high temperature and pressure as compare to conventional va panels.)

                    Robust ips panels in this product then how to broken normally without any marks??

                      This is rahul waghmode and have an concerns about the technicians about their feedback and their work.
                      I have been gifted one lg tv with model 32lf513a-tc in marriage and has bought in the month of december 2015 from beed (Maharashtra) city apprx 300km far way but within 6 months tv's screen started to show some fishy/blur white lines for which i have raise complaint where techinician came & verified and said some part has failed we need to order part you send me your tv reciept on whatsapp then after i have waited for 2days where no response they said your receipt is not valid as it don't have vat number!!! I'm shocked as every other television brands only see the purchase date along with tv warranty card now thi to resolve any issues thats it and other vat no. Related issues they should not bother about. I'm surprise about their word that you must have vat no. On receipt then & then we can proceed further for your problem.
                      And about closing this issue with strange feedback "not an valide receipt and fishy receipt image" how come?? As anyone can easily read it.

                      Now it's been almost three weeks it's been pending!! I think atleast anyone of you could help me on this or else i have no choice to go with other brand as our entire family have only lg brands at their homes.

                      I have got the call & email by saying we can't replace your TV but we can refund your amount and said go to nearest ICICI ATM - corporate funding to receive amount then put transaction id...

                        My refrigerator has a problem and we raised a complaint in lg customer care (Complaint no. Rna[protected], they directed the problem to delear near my place chennai avadi. Ar electronics. They serviced the fridge and said we need to change the freeze switch which will cost around 900 and we have given money with proper bill and the guy who attended havent turned up and we directly went to dealer place and asked for it they are not aware of that the problem. The service engineer was very rude in answering, his name is gopi from ar electronic, avadi chennai. Now the fridge is not working and after our escalation they came and replaced the switch. Again its not work. Please take this a serious issue and take action on the concern dealer. It very bad when a branded company giving the dealership to the people like him and losing the brand value.

                          My complaint no : rna[protected].

                          I had logged a complaint on the 7th of june 2016, with regards to the freezer gets excess chilled forms ice & the cooling does not pass down, thereby spoiling all the products in the fridge.

                          An engineer (Narendra) visited me the next day & did not do anything much to resolve my issue but just checked & said he needs to order for some heater plate & which will take 02 days to resolve the issue & he took rs. 500/-

                          On the 10th june 2016 he called me in the evening when i was in office & informed me that the part is come can he come to install it, i informed him i am in office today but i will make provision for tomorrow, to which he informed me that there will be another engineer coming. I told him ok.

                          Till 17th june 2016 when i had no revert from him & my issue still persisted i called him & he informed me that my issue is closed & i will have to call again on the customer care & then call him. Which i did, i was again given a tat of 24 hours. I kept following up the whole of (18) saturday until (19) sunday with narendra (He mentioned he has not received the complaint yet) & the customer care which informed me that same day the agency has accepted the complaint.

                          After which i was able to get in touch with reshma (Floor supervisor) who helped me by putting the area service manager on call & pushing narendra to come & resolve within an hour by 13:20. Narendra came by 15:45 until which time we were just kept waiting.

                          After coming he just opened the fridge & informs us that there is a drawback if he installs the heater he will have to cut open & join wires & in moisture we will see sparks in the fridge. After hearing us we just informed him in that case if there are sparks & we are at risk what is the alternate & if this was the scenario when he came on the 8th june why did he not highlight this to us & waste so much time. He had no answers but just said he is trying to speak to his trainer & will get back. His trainer called him & informed him jot to do any work in such risk just come back & get the copies & picture & he will highlight to lg company.\

                          Till today i am waiting for my issue to be resolved. Without a fridge (Which i have purchased for 44000 & not at all used so much) operational in the house. Let me know if there is any one who can understand my concern & help me resolve. (We have been a loyal lg customer & have a lot of lg products in all our houses based in dahisar/mira rd/vasai/andheri/worli) but we are facing such kind of treatment from lg.

                            Though lg is committed to extend best possible service to its customer, but my experience with your service centre gorakhpur was very dissatisfying. I have purchased lg refrigerator (model no-gl-m302ratlavi)in december2014. Since dec15 my fridge is out of order and inspite of my frequent follow ups with your service centre, it has not been repaired till now. The earlier 3 mechanics sent from service center failed to repair and the technical fault remained as it is.
                            Now, its my last and humble request to you to take some measures or else i will be forced to take some unpleasant action against this poor level of your service.

                              Dear Sir,
                              This is regarding the split AC LSA5np5A which I purchased as on 17042016 via bill number lg-7200 from modern sales, sector 22 chandigarh. Since the day of purchase it never worked properly. We called up your customer care numerous times and your dealer in chandigarh from whom we have purchased it. But unfortunately our complaint is not sorted out yet. We called up at LG service centre as well at sector 34a chandigarh but your service executive named ms neelam grover never picked up our call and disconnected every time. Today is 19062016, it's almost 2 months and we are fed up of complaining at your customer care. If this is the kind of service you provide to your new customers then I am sure the time comes when nobody recommend or purchase your products. I am sure I would never recommend your brand to anybody in my circle.

                              I want you to take your defected product back and return my hard earned money or either replace it or get it corrected now. Otherwise I will be forced to lodge a complaint in consumer court.

                              I want reply to this on top priority and that too with the resolution not the excuses.

                                10th june: complain registered on lg inverter ac. Complain clearly says that there is an error ch 10 showing on the ac. Technician comes and after spending an hour says that he needs a smaller screw driver that he will bring next day around noon and repair it.

                                11th june: no one turns up. I call up the technician and he says that there is a meeting every saturday in his office and that’s why he got late. He will speak to the madam in his office and get this assigned shortly.

                                12th june: call up at customer service. Poor fellas are helpless today as it is sunday. But a technician will land up at your door tomorrow (I. E. Monday) is the promise i get

                                13th june: no one turns up. Call up at customer service. Day is over for service center and hence a voc (Some escalation) was raised and again promised a technician at my door next day.

                                14th june: technician (Ali) arrives and informs that a part needs replacement (It has not been 2 months since i have bought this ac). He gives me number of his senior jai with whom to speak with regards to timelines.

                                15th june: call up jai and he confirms that the part arrives today and technician will be at your door tomorrow

                                16th june: no one turns up. Jai does not pick up calls.

                                17th june: call up at customer service. Given rohini jadhav’s landline number as well a mobile number to call up and check for status. Phone keeps ringing at all these numbers, nobody picks up, nobody bothers to call back.

                                18th june: call up at customer service. Again given rohini jadhav’s landline number and all as i inform them that they are not picking the call. Assured a call back within 24 hours. Rohini jadhav apparently calls back coincidentally for confirming appointment for a visit by some korean technical team who is visiting india. It seems it was a coincidence that she called me up (How did she get my number is a question as the products are registered with another number). Anyway, she assures me that the part is due to arrive on 19th june sunday and the technician will very well repair it.

                                19th june: again, called up all landline numbers, mobile numbers provided where no one ever bothers to respond. Called up customer service. Poor fellas are again helpless today as it is sunday. But a technician will land up at your door tomorrow (I. E. Monday) is the promise i get yet again!!!

                                  I am an owner of several lg products including an lcd tv, refrigerator, washing machine & a home theater.
                                  I am highly disappointed with the quality of the product & the service provided for the home theater.
                                  The blu ray player is not working & is not recognizing any blu rays/ dvds. The same was looked at 4 times by lg technicians who have shown the most lackadaisical and uncaring approach towards resolving the issue.
                                  The technician has taken around 4 months to look at this issue and has not visited even after repeated phone calls. The last visit for nearly 2 months back.
                                  I am seriously aggrieved, hence am writing to you. Further to this, my lcd tv, which is under amc, is constantly turning off & on. The same has been fixed quite a few times, but the problem seems to be recurring.
                                  In case it's not possible for the lg technical team to solve the continuing problem, i shall have to look for support from consumer court to help me fix the same.
                                  Further, i don't think i shall be considering any lg products in the future.

                                    Ir this is to bring your acknowledge that i had purchased led on 29/11/2015 from kanpur lg electronics shoppemalhotra mariampur.
                                    My total amount of purchase was 92300rs which includes some more appliances of home segments. My issue is this my led screen is not functioning and its panel screen is showing error while opening. Means screen is blank as your technical person visited and confirmed that it is damage from inside you have to bear the cost and says that from inside its chemical liquidation is been spread which has damaged full screen..
                                    But my led is in warranty condition of 1 year from lg and i got additional 1 year warranty card also from shop-owner for better services in future.
                                    So i just want to know that its a manufacturing fault in your product and in warranty why i will pay 19854rs/-which was asked from your service engineer and from center.
                                    Need your intervention on this regard. As i am a loyal customer at use only lg products in full home.

                                      I purchased LG refrigerator model GL-338VT5 in 2010. Recently, the handle of the main door broke. I placed a request for spare part, when the customer care mentioned that because product is older than 5years, cost for spare and service will have to be chargeable. I agreed for the same, mentioning that if part replaced, I will pay for both. After few weeks, a service technician visited to see which model it was. He returned after two days with the wrong handle. Now, the LG service technician and LG customer care is informing me that any product which is beyond 5years, cannot be provided with spare replacement. However, this was neither mentioned during purchase not agreed upon on the Invoice/ Terms. Do they expect that for a Rs. 500/- spare part, i dispose off the refrigerator??
