My complaint no : rna[protected].

I had logged a complaint on the 7th of june 2016, with regards to the freezer gets excess chilled forms ice & the cooling does not pass down, thereby spoiling all the products in the fridge.

An engineer (Narendra) visited me the next day & did not do anything much to resolve my issue but just checked & said he needs to order for some heater plate & which will take 02 days to resolve the issue & he took rs. 500/-

On the 10th june 2016 he called me in the evening when i was in office & informed me that the part is come can he come to install it, i informed him i am in office today but i will make provision for tomorrow, to which he informed me that there will be another engineer coming. I told him ok.

Till 17th june 2016 when i had no revert from him & my issue still persisted i called him & he informed me that my issue is closed & i will have to call again on the customer care & then call him. Which i did, i was again given a tat of 24 hours. I kept following up the whole of (18) saturday until (19) sunday with narendra (He mentioned he has not received the complaint yet) & the customer care which informed me that same day the agency has accepted the complaint.

After which i was able to get in touch with reshma (Floor supervisor) who helped me by putting the area service manager on call & pushing narendra to come & resolve within an hour by 13:20. Narendra came by 15:45 until which time we were just kept waiting.

After coming he just opened the fridge & informs us that there is a drawback if he installs the heater he will have to cut open & join wires & in moisture we will see sparks in the fridge. After hearing us we just informed him in that case if there are sparks & we are at risk what is the alternate & if this was the scenario when he came on the 8th june why did he not highlight this to us & waste so much time. He had no answers but just said he is trying to speak to his trainer & will get back. His trainer called him & informed him jot to do any work in such risk just come back & get the copies & picture & he will highlight to lg company.\

Till today i am waiting for my issue to be resolved. Without a fridge (Which i have purchased for 44000 & not at all used so much) operational in the house. Let me know if there is any one who can understand my concern & help me resolve. (We have been a loyal lg customer & have a lot of lg products in all our houses based in dahisar/mira rd/vasai/andheri/worli) but we are facing such kind of treatment from lg.

I would request you to have a look into this.

I only need my fridge fully functional. If your technicians are not able to repair my fridge it is a serious concern. We cannot be taken for a ride like this. Please have a look at the condition of my fridge n then comment. (Picture attached)

Please get this fridge functional as I have faced an inconvenience from more then 20 days now.

I am surprised at the ways of extortion by a company like LG. That leave me no choice as a customer and give me 2 options only either I do as they say replace part as they want and cintinue facing issues. Or exchange. Both is not in my benifit but theirs.


I would request you to have a look into this.

    Though lg is committed to extend best possible service to its customer, but my experience with your service centre gorakhpur was very dissatisfying. I have purchased lg refrigerator (model no-gl-m302ratlavi)in december2014. Since dec15 my fridge is out of order and inspite of my frequent follow ups with your service centre, it has not been repaired till now. The earlier 3 mechanics sent from service center failed to repair and the technical fault remained as it is.
    Now, its my last and humble request to you to take some measures or else i will be forced to take some unpleasant action against this poor level of your service.

      Dear Sir,
      This is regarding the split AC LSA5np5A which I purchased as on 17042016 via bill number lg-7200 from modern sales, sector 22 chandigarh. Since the day of purchase it never worked properly. We called up your customer care numerous times and your dealer in chandigarh from whom we have purchased it. But unfortunately our complaint is not sorted out yet. We called up at LG service centre as well at sector 34a chandigarh but your service executive named ms neelam grover never picked up our call and disconnected every time. Today is 19062016, it's almost 2 months and we are fed up of complaining at your customer care. If this is the kind of service you provide to your new customers then I am sure the time comes when nobody recommend or purchase your products. I am sure I would never recommend your brand to anybody in my circle.

      I want you to take your defected product back and return my hard earned money or either replace it or get it corrected now. Otherwise I will be forced to lodge a complaint in consumer court.

      I want reply to this on top priority and that too with the resolution not the excuses.

        10th june: complain registered on lg inverter ac. Complain clearly says that there is an error ch 10 showing on the ac. Technician comes and after spending an hour says that he needs a smaller screw driver that he will bring next day around noon and repair it.

        11th june: no one turns up. I call up the technician and he says that there is a meeting every saturday in his office and that’s why he got late. He will speak to the madam in his office and get this assigned shortly.

        12th june: call up at customer service. Poor fellas are helpless today as it is sunday. But a technician will land up at your door tomorrow (I. E. Monday) is the promise i get

        13th june: no one turns up. Call up at customer service. Day is over for service center and hence a voc (Some escalation) was raised and again promised a technician at my door next day.

        14th june: technician (Ali) arrives and informs that a part needs replacement (It has not been 2 months since i have bought this ac). He gives me number of his senior jai with whom to speak with regards to timelines.

        15th june: call up jai and he confirms that the part arrives today and technician will be at your door tomorrow

        16th june: no one turns up. Jai does not pick up calls.

        17th june: call up at customer service. Given rohini jadhav’s landline number as well a mobile number to call up and check for status. Phone keeps ringing at all these numbers, nobody picks up, nobody bothers to call back.

        18th june: call up at customer service. Again given rohini jadhav’s landline number and all as i inform them that they are not picking the call. Assured a call back within 24 hours. Rohini jadhav apparently calls back coincidentally for confirming appointment for a visit by some korean technical team who is visiting india. It seems it was a coincidence that she called me up (How did she get my number is a question as the products are registered with another number). Anyway, she assures me that the part is due to arrive on 19th june sunday and the technician will very well repair it.

        19th june: again, called up all landline numbers, mobile numbers provided where no one ever bothers to respond. Called up customer service. Poor fellas are again helpless today as it is sunday. But a technician will land up at your door tomorrow (I. E. Monday) is the promise i get yet again!!!

          I am an owner of several lg products including an lcd tv, refrigerator, washing machine & a home theater.
          I am highly disappointed with the quality of the product & the service provided for the home theater.
          The blu ray player is not working & is not recognizing any blu rays/ dvds. The same was looked at 4 times by lg technicians who have shown the most lackadaisical and uncaring approach towards resolving the issue.
          The technician has taken around 4 months to look at this issue and has not visited even after repeated phone calls. The last visit for nearly 2 months back.
          I am seriously aggrieved, hence am writing to you. Further to this, my lcd tv, which is under amc, is constantly turning off & on. The same has been fixed quite a few times, but the problem seems to be recurring.
          In case it's not possible for the lg technical team to solve the continuing problem, i shall have to look for support from consumer court to help me fix the same.
          Further, i don't think i shall be considering any lg products in the future.

            Dear lg administration,
            Ir this is to bring your acknowledge that i had purchased led on 29/11/2015 from kanpur lg electronics shoppemalhotra mariampur.
            My total amount of purchase was 92300rs which includes some more appliances of home segments. My issue is this my led screen is not functioning and its panel screen is showing error while opening. Means screen is blank as your technical person visited and confirmed that it is damage from inside you have to bear the cost and says that from inside its chemical liquidation is been spread which has damaged full screen..
            But my led is in warranty condition of 1 year from lg and i got additional 1 year warranty card also from shop-owner for better services in future.
            So i just want to know that its a manufacturing fault in your product and in warranty why i will pay 19854rs/-which was asked from your service engineer and from center.
            Need your intervention on this regard. As i am a loyal customer at use only lg products in full home.

              I purchased LG refrigerator model GL-338VT5 in 2010. Recently, the handle of the main door broke. I placed a request for spare part, when the customer care mentioned that because product is older than 5years, cost for spare and service will have to be chargeable. I agreed for the same, mentioning that if part replaced, I will pay for both. After few weeks, a service technician visited to see which model it was. He returned after two days with the wrong handle. Now, the LG service technician and LG customer care is informing me that any product which is beyond 5years, cannot be provided with spare replacement. However, this was neither mentioned during purchase not agreed upon on the Invoice/ Terms. Do they expect that for a Rs. 500/- spare part, i dispose off the refrigerator??

                I purchased a new lg double door refrigerator but within 10 days the refrigerator is not working everyday serviceman visited my place still it's not working I applied for replacement but no Action has been taken...we don't want more services but we need replacement...bcoz we paid u for the new refrigerator but not for the damage one which I got...hope u will take action quickly...

                  I had bought an invertor AC last year, while it worked well in last summer and march and april of this year, however it has stopped cooling from May '16. the product is under warranty, however after 10 odd complaints, an engineer visited who was highly incompetent, then another visited who said the compressor needs to be changed, then another came and aid the AC can coll only till 26 degree and we cannot change the compressor as it is an expensive item.
                  all together i have been chasing them for 8 weeks now but of no proper response or resolution

                    I have booked a complaint on 3/6/2016 for water leaking in my washing machine. model no.WD-80490NP. and complaint no.RNA[protected]. Two technicans came and attend and they can't open two screws because of just forming. they told new gasket to be fixed. At that time they remove the inner ring from the washing machine. and told take the machine to our workshop and then only we have to remove the dust screw. ITS SHOW THEIR INABILITY . FOR THAT ONLY TRANSPORT CHARGE HAVE TO PAY RS. 600 TO 700. DAILY I AM RINGING PONE NO.[protected], [protected]. TECHNICIANS NO.[protected] AND [protected]. TILL TODAY THEY DID NOT COME AND TAKE MY MACHINE. THAT LADY REKA IS UNFIT FOR WORKING . MORE THAN 50 CALLS I RANG. NO PROPER RESPONSE AND NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY. I RANG TO TECHNICIANS FOR INSERT THE REMOVING RING. THEY DID NOT COME AND ATTEND. JUST LITTLE LEAK. THEY MADE A BIG REPAIR. IT WAS RUNNING AND WORKING PROPERLY.
                    AND ALSO I COMPLAINT TO PONE NO. [protected] NOT TAKEN ANY STEP OR ACTION. VERY WORST SERVICE. THIS IS HAPPENING 2ND TIME IN LG .
                    TAKE IMMD STEP TO SOLVE IT OR REPLACE MY WASHING MACHINE . IT YOUR MISTAKE. NO WARRANTY PERIOD.

                      I purchased 220 LG Refrigeretor in May's first week. Around a week after, My friend with family visit my home and he saw the fridge... then he congratulate me (congratulation for ur second hand fridge...kitna sasta liya).

                      There is damage marks on the front door of fridge.
                      I lodge a complain on Toll Free..
                      After around 2-3 weeks after many calls, I got the new door with no logos and no stickers. Your executive are genius, they arranged logos and stickers from the damaged door..Actually not bad.

                      But this all procedure should be perfect. They paste everything with no sense.

                      Uff, , , ,

                      I again call the executive..
                      He told me that he fix the issue..within 2 days.

                      Today 2 days will become 2 weeks,
                      Meanwhile, Some of my relatives and friends making fun of me after saw my fridge. (Anger and embarrasement is my feeling. )

                      After taking LG fridge, I am not the best...I become WORST...


                      And I again call on Toll Free..thay again register complaint. 24 hrs...etc.

                      Quickly, I received a call from local service centre and they said (Mr. Narayan from Zirakpur) we are not responsible. This is a shopkeeper and rickshaw wala's mistake.

                      LG is not responsible at all. But for you, I can provide you the logo in a week.

                      And dere is no possibilties for stickers.

                      its not about stickers, its about LG services, Its about my embarasemnt, Its about my feelings, and den its about my FRIDGE...

                      I again call Toll free... I again explain all things.. But the executive not listening me..he (parkash) is busy in chewing the food.

                      I told him that u r busy.then i can tok to some other person...
                      He said no no... u carry on.. m listening u...dont worry.


                      he transfer my call to senior department after finish his food and listen my problems...I am on hold for 5 minutes...then i have to disconnect the call.

                      So rest is up to u...LG and ICCF..

                        I have purchased lg led tv with 1+2 years of additional warranty offer. I was told by the dealer and also by the lg service person that bill is only required to claim the warranty and i would require nothing apart from that. Currently i am facing some display issue in my tv after 13 months of purchase. The company and service person is now saying that i need to provide them with the extended warranty card else i will be charged rs. 14000/- for the repair. The below link on lg website clearly states the 3 years warranty offer.

                        Moreover, lg service is calling me several times either to make repair on paid basis or close the service call. I have raised the issue to lg grievance redressal but their is no reply yet.

                          Replacement of lg newly purchased refrigerator-complaint id-cn[protected]

                          Dear sir,

                          This is for your kind information that i had purchased one lg refrigerator – model gl 282 on 01/11/2015, with serial no jhr5510prfg0284031.
                          The product was purchased keeping in mind the goodwill/ the promises of great service that your company - lg electronics had created in mind of the consumers.

                          But on a serious contrary to that fact, the refrigerator had started annoying us, by not able to maintain its cooling temperature.
                          Just after 3 months of purchase, all the cooked foods are getting rotten by accumulated fungus over them. All the fresh vegetables getting rotten within 1 day.
                          We had lodged a complaint with complaint over phone with call centre.
                          Your technician had visited after 1 day after much hustle and continuous follow up with the call centre, and according to them, the cooling gas channel was leaked due to manufacturing deficiency. They again had lodged call to concerned department and next day in evening, it was rectified, again with a false promise that now everything is fine and issue is completely resolved.


                          But now again after 3 months, the same problem of gas leakage has started and cooling is not happening.
                          Again we have lodged the complaint - cn[protected] and yesterday (16/06/2016) technician had visited with the inference that gas chamber is chocked now, so adjoining areas at back of freezer is only getting cooled, blocking the cooling channel for the entire fridge. This problem is not his area of service, so he again has put the matter to some other department.

                          Sir, we cannot keep a product like this which needs to be serviced and maintained for a recurring problem of non cooling and gas leakage.
                          We have paid every single penny for the product, but received only false notion and false promise in return.
                          Life has become very annoying after purchasing this refrigerator, though your tagline says lg - life’s good.


                          Request you to please immediately process for replacement of the same model with a new one, as product with same recurring problem cannot be kept any longer.

                            I have lodge a complain on 07.06.16 in a toll free number that my AC is not working accordingly the service person attended on 08.06.16. After verification he told that their is some defect and my man will come tommorow and see it again.
                            Since then i have speak to the said service person whose no is [protected] so many times but no one attended. Still my AC is lying in as it is condition.

                              I am writing you concerning the matter of of a purchase of my 55 inch plasma tv


                              Purchase back in December of 2012. The reason I’m writing


                              you is the fact that the T.V. has already gone out, and it is only 3 years old.I bought the


                              extended warranty for the T.V. which expired in January of this year.The t.v model is LG.


                              I would like to know how does a brand new t.v fresh out of the box only last 3 years. I not only


                              bought the T.V at the time of my purchase I bought the surround sound system to go with it,


                              and then went back and bought the DVD player also. Only to be told that I would have to pay to


                              have someone come out to look at the t.v to see if it can be repaired. I think that when you sell


                              A product that it should last longer than 3 years. I’m not a very satisfied customer now that this


                              Has happened to me. I think that if a consumer purchases the extended warranty that the


                              Warranty division should at least notify the consumer before the warranty expires. I wish that


                              There was some way that this situation could be fixed. I now have a t.v mounted on my wall


                              that is of no service to me.

                                I own a LG refrigerator model # LFC25776SW, had for 5 years and the compressor went bad. Still under warranty, I called LG on May 26 and in turn referred me to Ferrari's Appliance in which I also called on May 26. They called me back needing the serial number in which I gave it to them on May 27. Took an extremely long time for LG (your company) to send Ferrari the compressor. They came to my home today June 15 (just about 3 weeks after initial contact) and the part (compressor) sent to Ferrari was USED and DEFECTIVE. We have been inconvenienced in our home without a refrigerator for some time now. When this repair is finally done, I will be sure to tell all of my colleagues, friends and family never ever to buy an LG product. Its bad enough that we have to pay for the technician to install a warrantied part, but to have it delivered to him from the manufacturer USED and DEFECTIVE is just unsatisfactory. I've been in and dealt with customer service for over 30 years and LG's customer service is by far the worst I've ever seen. I will state again, I will never ever buy an LG product again and I will be sure to tell everyone (social media, e-mail) I know, not to also buy LG unless they want to be provided with extremely horrible service!

                                      I had taken extended warranty (AMC-Stands for Annual maintenance contract) for my television by paying around 3500 which is non refundable and through which company makes huge profit. Total cost of my TV was 25000, Now when some problem occurs in my TV, LG company dening to repair by saying that part is not available and as per company policy when part is not available we can give you 20% of total cost of my three years old TV When I asked them to give me same thing in written they told me not possible. I have written too many mail and more than 200 calls to them but they are not replying since last 25 days or just saying that we are looking into your complaint but actually they are doing nothing, two days back when I made call to LG customer care again they straightly denied about any complain I have registered, I have document and voice recording to proof what I am saying.

                                        I sent me invoice to the official website of lg india as there was an option to redeem free cam plus module, so i did so with my address line to redeem my free Lg G5 Cam Plus modue.
