To whom it may concern,
I purchased this television just over 2 years ago from Amazon and it has been brilliant.
The missus didn't like the TV at first, but even she loves it now.
However, earlier this week, we turned on the TV and... nothing.
We can see that it's getting power and that it's coming on, but there is no image. I can see a faint glow from the screen, which slowly starts to fade after a couple of seconds.
From what I have read, it looks like the backlight has gone.
I know the TV is over 2 years old, but this isn't something I would expect to be a problem after such a short period of time.
I've tried all the basic troubleshooting (completely unplugged the TV and all connecting cables, then tried to turn it back on; tried connecting it in other sockets, in the living room and other rooms) and still no joy.
What can you do to help?
