I brought one two ton air conditioner of LG model number LSA6AU2A on 27 June 2016. But it has faulty outdoor unit at first and later lg technicians changed condenser of outdoor unit. Still AC cannot run sometimes. I must advice all friends not to buy lg products. Very poor service. Pathetic.

    I bought a lg double door refrigerator 23/02/2016 and the model no is gl-d302jpfl. for the past one month i was experiencing low cooling in the freezer compartment and i logged a complaint number rna[protected] on 23/06/2016 and your engineer came said that he had adjusted the settings and there wont be a problem. after one weak this time there was no cooling at all and again i logged a complaint rna[protected] on 02/07/2016. this time your engineer said that there was gas choke in the refrigerator and the gas needs to be refilled. when i asked him the reason he could not tell me clearly and he said if the problem occurs again he will only reill the gas and would not replace the refrigerator. hence i am convinced that the refrigerator is a faulty one and asked him for replacement. but he arrogantly refused and went out. when i checked the status of both my complaints fist one is closed and second one is cancelled without my satisfaction. no one from your backend team bothered to call me regarding cancellation of my complaint.kindly explain me the below questions.

    1. is your service engineer the only authority person to take decision of the customer complaints and is there no other persons?
    2. how could the gas choke within three months of date of purchase.
    3. is there no feedback verification process from your side for closed/ cancelled calls.

    With a lot of expectation i bought your refrigerator and now i feel bad for choosing such a brand. i need you to replace the refrigerator as soon as possible.

      This is about lg smart tv which i bought in october 2014 and recently around 3rd week of june 2016, the screen display dimmed to extremely low level, barely visible. I complained about this to lg and since the product is out of warranty, the visiting engineer told that backlight has failed which will cost inr 3000. I was shocked to hear that bcos tv is only 1.5 years old. With a heavy heart, i agreed for the repair and i was informed that the component would take 2-3 days to arrive so final repair will be done after that. On the expected day of repair, i received a call from another guy from lg who informed me that the backlight is not available and the whole panel needs to be replaced costing inr 14000. Hearing this, i got infuriated because i purchased the tv for inr 34000 and just after 1.5 years, i need to spend another inr 14000 which is cost of a new tv of a local brand. Very next day, the same engineer called me informing that he has got the backlight and would replace the same. During the repair, he informed that even after backlight replacement, the display is giving reddish tint which means whole panel needs to be replaced, so i am back to square one. Out of frustration, i started asking questions from engineer about how such a big brand can fail so easily. The engineer tried to convince me that it is just a matter of chance and being an electronic component, it is prone to current fluctuations. I totally disagreed with him and asked him to leave it as it is. He charged me inr 288 for the visit. I am living without a tv for almost 15 days now and my monthly subscription of hd dth has gone wasted.

      I was just cursing my bad luck to get this fault in my tv as i spent 3 years in searching for such tv with many features and was very happy to have this one but just after 1.5 years, all my dreams of owning a smart tv shattered. With a very bad mood, i just surfed the net to search for any such problem with anyone else and i was shocked to see the results.

      The first link i opened showed complaints from us residents. I thought it would not be justifiable to compare complaints o[censored]s residents with mine as mncs manufacture different products for different regions of the world. The next link i opened had inputs from indian residents. The biggest point of surprise was that everyone had the same problem within almost same time frame i. E. 15-20 months after the date of purchase which means after the product got out-of-warranty.

      I wonder how come such a big brand have same problem in their particular range of product. It seems to be a modern kind of modus-operandi wherein a so-called advanced product is sold without any long life components and since a middle-class consumer like me cannot afford to buy a new product so easily, he will be forced to get the repair done. Alternatively, the consumer will have to compromise with a local brand as the cost of repair and new tv from local brand are same.

      I am writing this mail out of frustration and with a hope if any checks can be made on such mncs who are stripping the hard-earned money of middle-class by providing low-quality products and earning huge profits to open their new factories/showrooms around the world.

      On 13th July 2016 afternoon, I received a call from LG Technical Support (Mr Harpreet, 9599880628) informing that they want to carry my tv to their service centre for repair. On 14th July 2016 afternoon, they returned my tv after replacing the backlight. I paid the total amount of INR 3387.5 towards this repair. Now, my tv is working and I hope not to see the service centre for next 5 years at least. Today morning, on 15th July 2016, I also received a call from Mr Mukesh Gupta 9873335824, LG Service Manager for Delhi and he assured me to contact him, in case, my issue is not resolved through proper channel. I am thankful to everyone who helped me in getting my problem resolved.

      I have received a call from LG Technical Support (Mr Harpreet [protected]) who has informed that they will pick the tv from my home to thoroughly check the problem in their service centre. I hope for a resolution of the problem.
      I would like to raise a complaint about my LG LCD which is not working, I m not getting Proper picture.
      I would you want to arrange technician who will check & fix this concern ASAP

        Tv with model number 24lb515a-th was purchased dated 9-aug-2014. now within a period of 2 years its led panel has gone down because of which screen in not functioning. after the visit of lg engineer it was told to us that the panel could not be replaced & we have to buy the entire new tv again. and for this tv they would adjsut certain amount for panel.
        This is highly unacceptable situation & a worst customer experienced ever faced in my entire life with tv going down in 2 years that to with no availability of its electronic parts.

        Your team yesterday came up with a replacement offer by adjusting the amount of faulted unit after deducting 20% depreciation on purchase of new model.

        I suggested them a model for which they told me the DP amount around 15-20% higher than the market rate as confirmed by nearby shops.

        What kind of joke is this?

        As branded company you people should not exploit customers. Why would a person buy a unit from you at a 15-20% higher market price & that to after compensating 20% depreciation cost on faulted unit.

        Kindly look into the matter asap & give me the competitive price as per market so that I can close the issue.

          By sep, 2016, i bought lg led 42' tv model lf6500. This is smart 3d tv. But this tv suddenly stopped working 8 days back. I handle tv very carefully, but suddenly it stopped working. This tv had 1 year warranty. So i registered a complaint (Complain no - rna[protected] with lg customer care. After couple of days, a technician visited, and examined the problem and suggested to change tv panel. For which i waited more than 4 days.
          When technician came with new tv panel, and put new tv panel, still tv was not working. And technician suggested another option to fix the issue. And its more than 8 days, my repair service is still pending.

          I think, the tv piece which i got is very defective one, so i requested service center for replacement, but service center not ready for replacement though tv is defective and under warranty period. Lg service center from pune india (Balaji electronics, hadapsar pune) not serving well. I followed up many times with lg customer care but, there is no action taken.

            Amc no nd 033621 dated 11 dec 13 for 4 years i have lg double door fridge. Four days of complaint and still the fridge is not working. One person comes detects gas leak does not see condenser also not working, next day one person comes fill the gas and says why did the previous person did not check condenser not working, next day the person who initially came comes with condenser and replaces it and still the fridge does not work. Whom do we complaint as consumer sad lg has very poor team hired for repairs and no one listens. The oursourced agency is useless and does not give importance to customer but looks after their team. Please look into the problem else i will escalate the issue to higher ups regards col prem joneja [protected]

              — i have bought a lg water purifier in the year of 2014, it cost rs-30, 300 (including vat), from the date of purchase we are not satisfy with the product often it creates problem, in the warrenty period in can manage with the warrenty, but after it is too expense for the services, so i decided to take a amc, that too they are asking one year amc amount nearly 8000, and they, ask me to pay extra for service before punching the amc. so i'm very much mentally disturbed with lg water purifier, my money and valuable time is wasted by buying this waste product, these people are cheating a middle class people like me in the name of brand lg, so do the needful as early as posdible

                I complained about my a/c not working on 5th july 2016. the engineer came on the 6th of july and said the gas has leaked and he will come the next day and fix it. i have been following up with the customer care since then and am being told that he will come. it has been 5 days and the a/c is still not fixed and the engineer has not come.

                Today (10th july) i was given the number of the workshop that is supposed to send the engineer.. i kept calling but nobody picked up. i called the customer support again and this time they gave me the mobile number of the head mr manoj chauhan. i have ben calling him since the past 3 hrs and he does not pick up his phone.

                In this sultry heat my a/c has not been working for 6 days. how much more pathetic could the lg service be.

                I have been buying lg devices, inspite of there being better products out there, only because of the service. now it seems that this has also gone to the dogs. so no point in buying lg products any more

                I am writing here but am sure this also will fall on deaf ears. i cannot trust lg any more.

Specially Mr. Manoj Chauhan of the Gurgaon Service center who leads by setting up a horrible example? In spite of being a head of the customer support he does not even pick up his phone.

                  My mobile handset gps system is faulty & my mobile phone is under warranty. For that purpose i had visited their service center 4 time. They have tried all the solutions including change of motherboard but it did not worked. Problem is still exists. They are again insisting me visit there service center for again changing motherboard. I am fed up of visiting the same as it requires cost & time. Also i have asked the company that i am not comfortable with changing hardware again & again as handset is new. I asked them to replace my handset with new one but after writing 3-4 mails not a single call back from the company (Every time i get system generated mail saying that we will get back to you). I want to take strong action against this regard.

                  Again as last try I allowed them to replace motherboard for second time. I found that after changing motherboard for second time there are few more issues arriving out of this such as low memory error while uploading file on the web, can not save changes in internal memory, camera delay etc. I asked them to replace my handset with new one but company is still insisting on repair. I have also asked them to replace my current handset with upgraded one & I am ready to bear the cost difference. After daily follow ups since last 4 months my problem is not resolved. They have provided me area sales manager’s (ASM) number (They have given me number of the person who is not into the system) but he told me I can not handle your case & you must remain in contact with Mr. Saurabh. LG customer service executive told me that ASM has authority to approve for replacement & company gives replacement when device is beyond repair. Since last 3 weeks Mr. Saurabh is taking follow up with HO at delhi for approval but didn’t get the same till date. Also many times it happens that Mr. Saurabh don’t receive my calls (I call him daily for update). I am frustrated by taking follow up with all of them & wanted to take legal action against LG mobile company for their faulty device, unsatisfactory service. I have proof of all telephonic conversation which I had with them.

                    Dear lg administration,
                    Ir this is to bring your acknowledge that i had purchased led on 29/11/2015 from kanpur lg electronics shoppemalhotra mariampur.
                    My total amount of purchase was 92300rs which includes some more appliances of home segments. my issue is this my led screen is not functioning and its panel screen is showing error while opening. means screen is blank as your technical person visited and confirmed that it is damage from inside you have to bear the cost and says that from inside its chemical liquidation is been spread which has damaged full screen..
                    But my led is in warranty condition of 1 year from lg and i got additional 1 year warranty card also from shop-owner for better services in future.
                    So i just want to know that its a manufacturing fault in your product and in warranty why i will pay 19854rs/-which was asked from your service engineer and from center.
                    Need your intervention on this regard. as i am a loyal customer at use only lg products in full home.

                      My name is satya ranki reddy. I am staying at hyderabad, telangana. I had a 3 year old lg washing front door 5.5 kg machine, bought in june 2011 for 28000 rupees. A couple of days ago the machine doesn't start. Just beeping all the time. I contacted the customer support through the dealer. A technician came today and checked the machine and decided that the pcb unit is defected. It will cost more than 5000 rupees.
                      Even if the machine is 2 years old, we haven't used the machine more than 2 months (Use only when we are coming for vacation). We thought that a reputed company like lg do have some quality in their components, specially expensive component like this. We are totally disappointed on lg washing machine. Never going to recommend any one.
                      Be aware!

                      Note : can anyone had any idea for pcb cost (Telangana hyderabad price please)? If yes please send a message to below number soon. 91+[protected] — whats up messages also fine.

                        This is to inform that, i have purchased lg fridge, 3 days before it stopped cooling and i have logged a complaint in lg service center, no one has attended the ticket yet, and it was closed automatically.

                        Branch manager of lg also is not responding on call, service engineer is also putting calls on block list. still my issue has been not resolved.

                        Still it has not resolved and i am suffering from issue.

                        Thanks for information, engineer visited on 14th july and he replaced the Compressor of refrigerator and it started working fine.

                        Yesterday again same issue started happening, and i again called Sky service(LG Service Center Location:- Mira Road) who visited last time.

                        My fridge again stopped working and today engineer visited again, i insisted him to check the issue twice and make sure that it doesnt happen again, he today checked it and fixed it and informed that it will get cool in 3-4 hours and he left from my home.

                        But i again want to inform you that after this 2nd visit and repairing, still my fridge is not working.

                        I am feeling very disappointed by the service of LG and product also, now still my fridge not working, what to do and where should i log a complaint i seriously dont know.

                        Engineer coming and going and still my issue is not resolved, i am too much frustated by this product, i request LG Team to please send your concern team member by tomorrow and replace my fridge.

                        I think that my product is defective and LG should take care of it on high priority, i am too much tired of calling these LG engineers for fixing my issue.

                        It is not been 8 months also when i purchased a fridge, i request for an replacement of my product and i insist to do that because i dont think continous repair would be good idea as it making my mind set that LG Products are not good and no consumer want that there product should get repaired on each and every 10 days.

                        Still i am suffering from the issue and i required the replacement for this defective piece.
                        Thanks for information, engineer visited on 14th july and he replaced the Compressor of refrigerator and it started working fine.

                        Yesterday again same issue started happening, and i again called Sky service(LG Service Center Location:- Mira Road) who visited last time.

                          I have purchased window ac on 24 may 2015. its warranty expired on 24 may 2016. during every free servicing, i kept on complaining about foul smell emitting from air conditioner intermittently. i could not understand the problem and neither lg technicians could solved it. even they have taken my ac to workshop and returned it without solving the problem.in addition to mandatory three free servicing, i have complained at least ten times with lg call centre, however they have assigned the job to same local area service provider. after completion of warranty period, technician of local service centre, told me the reason of foul smell emitting from ac. it looked like, till date he was only waiting for, warranty period to complete and once warranty period is over, he was only demanding for the amc. solving my problem at all was not on his agenda. this sort of exploitation of the customer by the service provider is highly detrimental to trust these brands.

                            I reside at andheri (east). i bought lg fridge model gl-m522gshm/2014, gross volume 470 on 26 december 2014.
                            It is just over a year and the fridge is damaged with big yellow patches of discoloring on the door.

                            A complaint was lodged with mr. ketan gaonkar in mumbai with complaint no. rna[protected], and your person has inspected the defect. he has taken pictures of the damaged/discolored door.
                            It is a clear case of product defect in manufacturing, quality, and the material used is substandard. this is not expected from a global company like lg. and, hence, requires a free of cost replacement of the fridge door immediately.

                            I feel my money has gone down the drain. kindly expedite the matter.

                                I purhcased my window ac from "sri mangla electronics", near ramphal chowk, dwarka sector 7, delhi on march 2016 on name of my wife "priyadarshani sharma". since i purchased, i am having some unwanted noise during running ac. i contacted to showroom manger, but he denied to replaced this machin and asked to contact to lg customer care for repaired. then i have been talked to customer care for last 3 months. the service center used to send their engineer, but they couldn't solved the issue permanently.
                                I asked service center manger to replace the machine but he is not ready to do this. he used to switched the phone off.
                                I request you to help me to replace this machine as it is making my family's life hell.

                                Service center person just passing time. they just come and go. they couldn't resolved the issue after working around 4 months.

                                  It has been only around 8 months that i purchase the lg refrigerator model number (gl-d302jgfl-2015). it has been stop cooling three times till now. after complaining at the service center it get repair and again stop cooling. it has been a seriously a disastrous situation by purchasing lg fridge. within 8 months of purchase it has been repaired 3 times. i made a complaint again today.
                                  It is very disappointing being lg customer if their engineers and team cannot rectify a error despite several attempts. i would never recommend anybody to buy lg products being a dissatisfied customer. as staunch support of lg product, it is my concern. if they will not take any action, ll go consumer forum.

                                    I bought lg g4 h818n dated on 2nd june 2015 with in six month mother board problem faced upon me and i complained to the service center (complain no rna[protected] dated 07/12/2015) the service center of lotus garden, kolkata-700059, w. b changed my mother board with free of coast after six month i. e 27/06/16 i was facing same problem of mother board and i correspond with the above service center they are again advising me to change mother board with cost of rs.10000/ as total age of set is1 year 1 month.
                                    Here in a year for lg high end phone how many times need mother board change in a year (11dec2015-27/06/2016)?
                                    Ir i am hope less about this mater. please replace my mother board with free of cost for second time as 11dec2015-27/06/2016 with one year.

                                      I alok kumar singh, resident of 14/8, dayananda road, a-zone durgapur-4, registered a complaint about less cooling of my window ac. vide complaint no rna[protected] dated 10.06.16 subsequently the service engineer visited the site and after inspection told that i need to send the ac to service centre for repair. on asking for further clarification he did not give any relevant reply. even after 10 days i did not receive any communication from the service centre so i again called the customer care for enquiry on 27.06.16 where they informed me that my complained has been closed and i need to register another complaint so i raised another service request rna[protected] seeking which the service engineers visited the site, after inspection they suggested me to get the machined serviced for better cooling. i told them that problem might be for less gas please checks the gas pressure etc. to ascertain leakage. they told me to check the machine for one day if it doesn’t get proper cooling he’ll refill the gas etc. again i did not receive any communication from service centre so i raised one more service request rna[protected] on 01.07.16 subsequently the service engineer sent a job sheet stating set call back to service centre on 02.07.16. on 06.06.16 i received a call from service centre stating that my compressor is not working properly and i need to pay approximately rs 11000.00 for compressor change and gas filling etc. the warranty over newly changed compressor shall be one year. now again on 07.06.16 i received a call from service centre stating that the ac gas has been charged but there is no impact on cooling and they wish to send it back without repair. i have received the machine back today on 07.06.16. the service centre has done fraud with me taking the machine for refilling of gas and returned it damaging the compressor without any repair.
                                      Point to note:
                                      1) i specifically asked the service engineer every time that whether my compressor is fine or not where they assured me that the compressor is working properly.
                                      2) i asked them to check the gas pressure and leakage etc on site where they said they need to take it back to service centre for checking.
                                      3) the service engineer insisted on cleaning and servicing on the second visit without comprehensive checking. i was reluctant at that time over this solution but he was still insisting on it and charged rs 450 from me.
                                      I have following query:
                                      1) why the service engineer who visited the site first time said the compressor is working fine?
                                      2) on next subsequent visit the service engineer told the compressor is fine only cleaning need to be done.
                                      3) on third visit i was informed that the machine is being taken for repair of leakage and gas refilling but i was told to get the compressor changed which is out of warranty now.
                                      4) why the ac machine is being returned without repair.
                                      I sense some kind of lacuna in the service modus operandii, may be some kind of corrupt practices. i seek advice and assistance from your end to overcome this problem which i faced including repair of my ac and compensation for the fraud, false commitment, hiding important information, irregularities and mental harassment which i faced due to this.
