I bought an LG TV from dubai last year and I used it for an year. After exactly 1 year and 3 days I could see a line on the screen. When I took it to the service center, I was told that the panel has got some issue and it need to be replaced., which will cost me apprx INR 25000 (AED 1400) whereas the TV itself was costs AED 1700..!!!

I trusted LG's quality as a big company but I was wrong. Even after speaking many times with their customer care representatives, I was being asked to buy a new TV . I couldn't understand the way of LG teams irresponsible replies without considering the value of the money I invested in buying their product.. I am really disappointed and I will never suggest LG products to anyone in future..!!!

    Dear LG,
    I am a customer of LG products. I thought LG is giving preference to product quality and customer satisfaction. I am working in a reputed central government organisation.
    I have purchased LG 32LM6410 3D LED TV on September 2014 and now it got repaired, only power indication LED is blinking and no other response is available. I contacted LG service center “Best electronics” at Chengalpettu, Kancheepuram, Tamilnadu. I got the feedback as SMPS PCB and Microprocessor PCB are healthy and functional; a small board attached to LED panel is not working and due to which entire panel shall be replaced for the cost of Rs20000+ tax, since the PCB is not available separately. We try to solve the issue our self and found one small component on the same PCB is not functional and it is easily replaceable, it is looking like 3.5 V regulator.
    It is very unethical that LG is not providing enough parts to the service centre. The problem is easily solved less than Rs 4000/-, if the PCB is available. So I am expecting necessary action from LG.

      I have purchased an LG TV worth Rs 54, 000 and with in 3 days I started facing issue.Engineer visited and misinformed us that it is not a hardware issue.He did it twice and you can check the same in your records.However, when I escalated the same he came to check with a DVD player to check the sound quality and as per him it was an issue with the system board and replacement was provided for the same.Please find attached the bill along with DOA(Defective on arrival) letter for your reference.

      It is almost 14 days after the warranty has expired and and it seems like the issue has reoccurred and the sound quality is not good.Request your intervention as I only want refund for the whole amount .I believe it is an issue with this product and even if you repair it will reoccur in future.I hope the same can be initiated without me going for any other route.

        Dear Concern,

        I had raised a complain for LG TV and the complaint number is 95242. The service given for us was not satisfactory. We are facing the same problem again after 3 months.

        We called the service person again and he has taken TV back to check on the problem. But the bill provided was said we have 1 year warranty for problems again and now he says no warranty at all.

        Please look into this and resolve at the earliest

          I had bought LGE's water purifier in Gurgaon (model number WAW33RW2RP) in July 2015. I relocated to Hyderabad in April 2016 and took the water purifier along with me.
          I called up LG's customer care center to arrange for a technician who can come and install the water purifier at me new residence in Hyderabad (Request No RNA[protected]. This was done on 11th May and till date I've been chasing with the customer support to arrange for a technician.
          One call center guy was good enough to make me have a direct conversation with the Area Service Manager in Hyderabad. Probably I have never spoken to such an incompetent person in my life. He was neither concerned about the customer problem, not the company's reputation. Bottomline, no engineer ot technician has come to install the product (despite the fact that I have agreed to pay all the hefty charges that LG charges).

          I think I made a very bad mistake of choosing LG's product for a water purifier. For any other brand, there are many technicians who can come and easily install the product.

          LG- I was a fan of your products once and am appaled to see the poor quality services that you provide!

            I purchased a TV LG LED 32LB550A from a retail outlet - JOJO Electronics, Changanacherry on 24.7.2014 for Rs. 27900. Recently a bright spot light was noticed on the screen and we contact the LG service centre, Thiruvilla. The technician informed that the reflector need to be replaced for Rs. 5000. It is just 1.5 years old and I cant expect a branded company product to be of that substandard, hence I request action from LG that either the TV unit to be replaced or repair the same free of cost.

              28/5/2015, i bought an lg g4 hk$5698 at wilson hk
              10/6/2015, i exchanged for a new mobile phone (Problem w/the mother board)
              6/12/2015, i brought to lg repair center in hk (Phone was dead, problem w/ mother board, again. Requested to extend warrantee)
              7/5/2016, i brought to lg repair center in hk (Phone was dead, problem w/ mother board) same problem again. 7/5 tried to call up hk repair office, but no answer, went to the office, but closed whole day that sat. Without notifying customers through messages on the phone.
              8/5/2016, i brought to lg repair center again.
              10/5/2016, i requested for a g5 because g4 is definitely a defect model. I don't mind paying some money to get g5.
              12/5/2016, lg returned my call and asked me for hk$2, 500 for a g5 or a new g4.
              Ridiculous, it was not my problem in the first place. I have totally no confident in your g4 and not sure about g5. And your staff was trying to tell me that the problem is not with lg. All my colleagues using g4 encountered the same problem. Please be fair!!! Also, without a mobile phone to use until now has already caused me a lot of inconvenience. I paid so much money on a phone that is continuously causing me sooooo much trouble. Is that fair? And to remind you this is the third time in less than a year that i have to go through all these trouble.
              I read a lot of blogs and articles about your g4.
              Lg is such a big company and i can't believe i am getting services like this.

                I bought lg washing machine : t8067teelr, top loading fully automatic from lg showroom indira nagar, banglore, india, on 24 april, 2016 which was delivered on 25 april, 2016.

                The person who came for demo did not provide me the proper demo. He just switched on the washing machine and he handled the hardware very carelessly.


                First time when i used the washing machine, after around 30 min of running, machine made huge sounds (I think the drum inside wobbled).

                Also, there was no cover on the button panel when i got the machine delivered, and when i press the buttons, i am getting sounds of plastic under them getting pressed, definitely, not

                Expected in a new washing machine.

                I have registered a complaint with lg and at the show room that i want a new machine, replaced. Now nobody seems to be responding with the complaints. The showroom manager tells me that i

                The technician again visited my home and this time refuting his previous time argument that the washroom floor is not in level the washing machine should be moved outside. So, he himself

                Immediately after he left the machine made loud noises and vibrations. I again called up the same guy, only to get the reply that when he saw nothing happened and lg needs a proof.
                Now i have a proof as i had recorded a video for the same. The reply i am getting from the technician is that this is a used washing machine, but the washing machine is having problem

                From day 1.


                This is a very bad and harassing experience from lg as many times i have to talk to technician and service center people in my office timing. It is their washing machine which is having a

                But they are asking proof from me.


                I think the only way to get through them is via consumer forum and filing a case. I will definitely make sure to follow up the case, no matter how much time it takes.
                Please take back the washing machine and refund me my money.

                  I have bought a LG LED 32 " on august-2015, i found a white patches on the left side of the screen. and i asked for a replacement since it is under the warranty (2 years extended warranty on display) but they are not agreeing. i want this to be immediately addressed with the desired solution.

                  And also i trusted the brand value and opted for LG to go with, after spending hefty i am facing these problems, very much annoyed.

                      My washing machine has been given alarm error for motor overload (there was only a couple of clothes and the machine is of 6kg capacity) since two months of purchase and it is still persisting and service center is not able to give a solution till now. The machine has given same alarm when the service personal checked it without clothes or with 1-2 clothes.

                      The machine was taken to the service center workshop in early April 2016 for motor change as suggested by the personal but the problem persists.

                      Again today, May 11th 2016, your service personal has said he will take the machine to the workshop (Current Complaint No.: RNA[protected] Dated:[protected]

                      Now the warranty period is about to expire in June 2016 and as per the service personal after that I will be charged for the same problem if i do not renew.

                      So I want to know that if a problem persists since purchase of the product do I have to pay money if the warranty period expires? And if it is so then I am sorry to say that you sell bad products and have bad after sales service. And I have invested in a bad brand and lost a good amount of money. The washing machine is useless for me if I am not able to use it because of the same problem again and again. Even your service people are useless. Why should one buy your product?

                      Even your Customer Care do not message complaint no. They say they will but do not. I am now writing it. last Complaint no. for same problem was RNA[protected] Dated 29-4-16. The service personal visited the same evening, said he will again have to take it to the workshop, took my signature as proof of visit and I waited and waited. He did not visit so I called customer care where I came to know that he has closed the call.

                      So your service center is also cheating me. They did not even give a receiving when they took the machine to the workshop last time...just handed over a blank form saying he will fill it when he returns the machine. I am a working person and they somehow convinced the elderlies at home that it is how everything works.

                      You can go through my complaint history by the two complaint nos. that I have provided. You also have the recordings.

                      I have been using washing machines since 20 years and I never came across any problems with the other brands.

                      So now I am complaining to you directly online as I do not trust your service people and money spent also counts.

                      I hope I get a convincing solution to my problem. If there is no solution I want a refund.

                      I only want my machine to work properly without shelling out money as the problem was since purchase of the product and you take care of your cheating personals.

                      (I have started writing the complaint nos. as your customer care does not sms - that is why I cannot provide you the previous complaint nos.)

                      Technician visited 25-7-16, did some checkups, machine started working, said problem was due to lint in hose, I asked if this was the problem then why the motor was changed twice, he did not respond. I am sure this problem is going to arise again (history repeating itself). Only time is being passed so that the warranty period gets over after which the company is not responsible.

                      I want my product replaced. The customer care said that service center will see to it but the technician says the company does not replace faulty products.

                      Every company replaces faulty products and if LG doesn't do this then it should clearly mention this to customers. I am very dissatisfied with the technician's response. I know any leading brand will not do this and expect this same from LG.

                      Please replace my product which is still in warranty period as you are not able to get to the root cause of the problem.

                        Bought all brand new LG appliances (even washer & dryer) from Home Depot, John F. Kennedy, Fort Collins, CO for a new home built and moved to end of Nov 2013. I didn't get an extended warranty. Why would I? Extensive research showed LG was one of the best! Three months after the 12 month's warranty expired, the microwave tripped the circuit breaker. We switched the breaker back up after a couple of months, the microwave worked for a little bit and it stopped heating-the timer and the light under the unit worked, but it wouldn't heat. At the same time the microwave stopped working the first time, the dishwasher stopped working with an IE error. We followed the troubleshooting book, pulled the dishwasher out, clear the water lines, and the dishwasher worked for about a month. The IE error came back. I paid $310 for the microwave and the repair cost was $320.20. I paid over $400 for the dishwasher and the repair cost was $286.63. The repair company (Bob's Appliance Svc,[protected], Inv #52884NW-8 & 52885NW-9) came to my house three different times to work on the dishwasher-bad board, then it needed a filter, etc., etc. Three different dates/times I had to miss work. I had to pay $55 for the repair guy to come for the 1st appliance and $35 for the 2nd. I declined the repairs. I am out a dishwasher & microwave. I WILL NEVER BUY LG PRODUCTS EVER AGAIN!!!

                          This is regarding complain no rna[protected] for my side by side lg refrigerator model no gcl217btjv lodged on 29th march 2016. I was told by the customer care that my problem would be resolved within 72 hours. However even after 6 (Six) weeks lg has not taken any interest to fix my refrigerator. Trying to contact lg service center at guwahati went futile for several days. Here are the few details of dealing with the lg service center.
                          After registering complain i received a call from service person shri sisir gargiya, mobile no. [protected] on 30th march enquiring about the condition of the fridge. When i explained the nature of complain he told me that the problem is due to damaged pcb and the same would have to be replaced. On 8th april he visited my home for the inspection and confirmed that the pcb had been damaged and informed that he would have to order the spare parts from delhi office. After his visit there was no call from him or from the service center guwahati. There was no response from service person and lg service center at guwahati even after several calls were made. Finally on 14th april shri sisir gargiya came with one number of spare pcb with which he tried to replace the old one. However it was the pcb of other model hence the size and the connectors of the pcb did not match. Then he told me that i’ll have to call up guwahati service center for refund or for replacement of the old defective fridge since the model has been discontinue and the spare part is not available. As advised by him i called up mr pranjal, mobile no. [protected] enquiring about the same. He told me that he will have to talk to lg office and let me know. However there was no call or any information from mr pranjal for several days. Later i called him again on 27th april; i was told that he will call up the lg main office and confirmation will be given on the next day. Even after waiting for more than a week i did not receive any call or any message from him. When i call him again on 3rd may he told me that he had already order the spare parts from new delhi and will be arriving within 3 (Three) day and will be fixing the same in few day. It’s been more than a week again there was no call or any information from mr pranjal. I never thought that i would be cheated by such a big company like lg. I was told by the vendors that lg has got a good service network in our area and that was the only reason i bought lg product. But from now onward i am never going to buy any of the lg product nor will i recommend to any of my friends or closed ones.

                            I have been cheated by LG electronics, by selling a LED TV which is defective on every aspects

                            On day one of purchase of LED TV we noticed the screen is damaged one and after continuous followup i got the monitor replaced after 6 months

                            After replacement of monitor now mother board is defective piece. to repalce this have been asked to wait another 1 month

                            After paying such hefty cost for the LED TV i am going through all these things

                            On being asked for replacing the TV, LG is not agreeing to it.

                              Old complaint no. Rna[protected].-generated on 10th of april
                              New complaint no. Rna[protected] - why this is generated today

                              Was loged the compliant on 10th of april and till date there is no action, i have got the new dated 4th time now new date is 22nd of april. For the replacement of tv screen panel but till date no action from lg
                              I have basic questions:
                              Why lg can't replace the panel?
                              Who is responsible to give dates? Service center?
                              Why they are liars - first date was 12th, than 18th april after that 28th april, than 13th may, and today they have given 22nd of may.

                              Who is responsible - customer care is saying service center. And service center is saying lg - how i can talk to an lg representative.

                              I am having an insurance of the product, which is going to expire on 20th of may, now who will bear the charges of repair. Just write here that lg can't repair the tv. Will go outside and get it repair. I have filed the case with bajaj allianz and approved for inr 10000/-

                              Now what i have to do instead of follow up i should start to damaging the image of lg in all social media account. If tv will not get repair before the 15th of may will file a case against lg as well service center for the committing false dates and forcing me to go for the replacement.

                              Why you don't writing or informing that we can't repair.

                              What i should do... Should i visit manufacturing plants with tv to get repair.

                                Guru Balaji cool systems provided a very poor service.This was my second interaction with their service engineer.Service engineer was trying to force us to get extra copper coils instead of fixing it on wall using angles just to save an extra effort.Finally he agreed to install it using angles but wanted to fix compressor just in front of window using angles at the height of around 2 ft.When we asked to fix it at a height of 4.5 ft, he completely denied(whereas most of the ACs in my society are fixed minimum at 5 ft-6 ft).I purchased LG ac from SHAH'S in chennai which included ac installation charges and gave a receipt for getting the service done.That service engineer, neither finished his task nor he was returning that receipt.Truly a very bad experience.After arguing for 45 mins and with intervention of SHAH's on phone, finally he returned the receipt.I really urge LG to give us alternative for authorized service centre.Request No. RNA[protected]

                                I purchase Lg ac in Vasanth And Co Sholinganallur Branch They Fix Installation from guru balaji cool system but No One came to installation. I Received one contact number but that number is switch off.. Still I Can't do Installation. Very Bad customer service in LG is very shame.

                                  Hi,

                                  I got my refregirator installed on 7th may 2016 where in the top and bottom doors of the fridge clash each other.. The service technician was trying to adjust it, it didn;t work. I already asked for replacement of the fridge. Yesterday (9th may) another technician came and tried to adjust the doors, it was better, but still the doors are not smooth. He is saying, this is how all the doors are, which i strongly disagree, since i have same model (310 litres) in my parents house...
                                  I cannot live with existing problem. Can you expedite this as soon as possible? I am not getting proper response from anybody. I have informed the customer care too.

                                    In 2014 we had purchased a refrigerator but due to some defect in the product within a year it stopped working and was beyond repair.
                                    Thankfully, it was changed and a new product was installed.
                                    Now the similar problem has occurred with the replaced product .After continious reminder and inquiry an employ showed up day before yesterday.When we asked what caused the problem he blamed us for not maintaining the product and said that several parts were out of commision and had to be changed.Within 2 years we've had to face almost similar problems because of the unrealibilty of your products and top of that your employs have blamed us for not maintaining the product properly without any validation.We are also being asked to pay for the parts even when the product is in its warranty period.
                                    All facts considered if your employ can vouch that the products can effictively work for atleast the next 2-3 years we will gladly pay the sum we are asked to or we request that you look into the matter and order a replacemnt.

While on delivery of product it was found that product was defective immedeiately we informed via delivery man
                                      Dealer insist to replace the door of freeze instead of repalace the new purchased product.
                                      We wish to repalace the product immedeiately or redress my problem resonably or refund my money.
                                      Till you have not responce now i have to approuch to consumer court for right justice

                                        I purchased lg 1.5ton ac from "vaibhav enterprises" at himayath nagar x road, hyderabad, telangana. At the time of purchase i was very specific on the time constraint. I wanted the product to be installed in 24hrs and if agreed only i will purchase it. I have my ailing parents at home for whom i wanted the ac. I was promised to have it delivered and installed in 24hrs. It’s been 3 days now the installation is still not done and when asked they give all odd reason like the stabilizer has to come from one place and the installation guy has to come from another place. If they had any challenges then they should have told me and i would have gone to some other competitor who could have delivered the product as per my requirement. Today when i have visited the office at 10 am in the morning i was told that the stabilizer will be coming in 2 hrs. I approached at 12:30 pm in the afternoon to check on the status and i was told the technician has already left with the stabilizer. I waited for 3 hrs at home waiting for them and no one turned up. I asked for mobile number of the technician and was told that the technicians are not allowed to carry mobiles. I went back to the showroom and asked for an explanation and the owner of the showroom (Mr mahesh) says it is not his fault. I told him that i don’t want to know at whose fault it is. All i wanted was my product for what i have paid and as you took the responsibility to deliver on time and install. Mr. Mahesh had no sympathy on me and was shouting at me saying to return the product i don’t want. After 3 days of my time i can’t return the product and asked him to deliver the stabilizer and install the ac today. Mr mahesh said will not do it and pushed me out of the showroom. I don’t this it is the right way of dealing with the customers. He has got his money does not mean that he can do anything.
                                        I sincerely request you to please take sincere action against the showroom vaibhav enterprises.
