I had put in a complaint for my LG fridge on 24th February 2016 (fridge was within the 5 year warranty then) that my fridge is not cutting off and am getting high electricity bill. When your service personnel came on 25th February, I told him the compressor was faulty but he said it is not compressor problem. He cleaned the fridge sensor and said it will be OK within 2 weeks. The problem persisted and he came back and changed the thermostat and said it will be OK in 2 weeks. Again same problem persisted, so he came on 30th April and said there is not enough gas and gas refilling needs to be done. Another technician came on 1st May, cut the line, drained the gas and then on checking compressor with a meter, he said compressor is faulty. Now my fridge is not working and the LG authorized service center is telling me I will have to pay the entire cost of around 7000 for compressor replacement since fridge is out of warranty now. This is cheating by LG; the compressor costs need to be covered entirely by LG since at the time of complaint initiation and 1st visit by authorized service personnel in February, my fridge was within the 5 year warranty. My family is suffering since the fridge is not operational in this May summer heat. Please have this resolved immediately.

      Our journey with this particular ac started back in the year 2010 and since then it's been a downhill dive to the lowest form of customer service one can experience.

      First of all, this ac is a defective piece which has been giving us issues right since the beginning. Every year we book anywhere between 2 -3 complains which result in changing a part or repair of an essential part in the machine.

      Second of all, these issues only get worse due to the sheer incompetence the technicians bring in with them. The franchise these guys come from is run by an extremely rude and uncouth man called, mr.. R.K. Taawa.

      The current issue(S):

      About 2-3 weeks back we filed a complain for cooling issues like we do every year in the beginning of the season. The technician without even checking for any leakages simply fills in the gas and goes away. And like you've already guessed, after a few days all the gas leaks out. This new technician called arif along with satish paul come in yesterday and do a check to which they discover two major defects (Again this season) for which the parts need to be changed (Condenser coil and something else i don't remember). Arif also very confidently mentions that, it's the last technician's fault and he should have checked for leakages before filling in gas. Now due to their mistake (Which they've been making since the very beginning) i refused to sleep in this heat and asked him to fill in gas till the time the part is available, to which he asked me to call his boss mr.. R.K. Taawa. Once i told mr.. Taawa the issue and asked him to fill in gas so that at least we can get some amount of cooling from the ac, the big boss rudely replies "nahi, gas kya free me aati hai? Garmi me sow aap". Post this he hangs up on me. By far the rudest guy i've ever come across (And you have this guy as your partner lg? Really?). Anyway, this is just the beginning of what you're about to see.

      Just like the last technicians who showcased their incompetence by filling in gas without checking for any leakages (Who does that?), arif and satish paul were no exception to the trend. Arif spoke to his colleague over the phone and informed me that the parts will be available by monday, which is today. He said "yes, it will be available tomorrow". Anyway, so now these guys are about to leave and satish paul is in the last stretch refitting the front panel of the ac. I see him banging the panel very hard to fit it in. It was like watching a blacksmith trying to straighten an iron grill. And just as i assumed, with all that banging and manhandling, he had messed up the display of the ac, which was working just fine when they arrived.I started recording this video (Video link: https://jumpshare.com/v/fhhvgz2yciemf4oko4ab ) the moment arif got up on the ladder to fix the damage done by satish. This is something i have never done before but now i realize should have documented my every interaction with these technicians. This 8.06 minute long video is the perfect example of what i've been dealing with all these 6 years. This video not only shows their incompetence and general lack of basic knowledge of the product but also the rudeness and the lack of any sensibility on how to talk to the customer. At 4.17 mark in the video that loud noise is satish paul banging the remote on a plastic chair (These are the kind o[censored]ncivilized halfwitted loonies i've been dealing with).

      Now here's the thing. This isn't a public video, nor do i intend to make it so. This is only for your consideration. The ac you have given me is nothing short of junk and merely changing two more parts won't solve anything. This has become a trend for every season and honestly, i can't take this anymore. Hence, i would really appreciate if you would replace this ac with another one (A non defective piece), failing which i'd be compelled to make this video public. My youtube channel has some 300, 000 subscribers and i also know other youtubers who'd be happy to share this video on their channels too. Besides youtube, we have our good old facebook share too. I'm sure people will be interested in seeing some 'reality' after having seen your glamorous commercials on tv. Along with this i'll also take this to the consumer court for all the harassment i've been through all these years. But like i said, all this could be avoided if you replace this junk with a new ac (That is not a defective piece). Looking forward to hear back from you asap.

        I have bought lg home theater worth rs. 19, 000/- home theater still lying ideal & not instolled. Engineers visits home do nothing & only ask money. Same experience with 2 engineer. Got a assurance by sameer panchal - service manager but still same issue. Even his assurance turned up as 1 more lie. Made a big mistake of buying lg products. No one should buy lg product. Worst ever service.

          Dear sir,

          I made the most unfortunate decision of buying my first and last lg product on the 07/04/2016 a 1.5 m.Ton window ac model no. Lwa5cp3a which was installed on the 21/04/2016 and found defective on commissioning. We complaint on the 22/04/2016 and your representative visited on 23/04/2016 who found the compressor defective and informed our staff that he will come and fix the compressor tomorrow. When we opposed that we would not get the new ac repaired your mr. Lakhan agreed after much ado on the 24/04/2016. We sent him the ac serial no. & model no. On the 24/04/2016 and were promised that the complaint would be resolved within 2 - 3 days and ac would be replaced, after continuously following up for the replacement mr. Lakhan stopped answering our calls and after calling your customer care we were given the no. Of mr. Manoj chauhan who is your cco ( customer complaint officer ) on the 26/04/2016. From 26/04/2016 we have been trying to contact mr. Manoj who has not picked up our phone even once. The attitude of your staff resounds the attitude of your company which delivers defective products as new and then refuses to fix them. What we cannot understand is what kind of quality department does your company employ in which defective products are allowed to enter into the market, and the icing on the cake are your employees who turn a deaf ear towards the customer and then refuse to pick up the calls. You have the best cco who would not have a single complaint because he doesn't pick up his phone in this week we have placed more than 50 calls from different numbers not a single of which was picked up by mr. Manoj, what is nice is the fact that lg is not prejudiced against us lg's has trained its staff well to ignore all the customer.

          I have low hope that this email will do much to change you or your staffs attitude, but if it does then arrange to get this defective ac replaced immediately barring which i will initiate legal action and will publicise your defective product to the world.

              Hi,

              I had bought lg refrigerator before 8 months ago and i fell really embarrassing regarding services from lg care.

              My complain number was xxxxxxx. There were so many people came at my home and checked my refrigerator but still issue persist.

              There are several issue that are :

              1) cooling not working properly
              2) when temperature set at top that is one five then it also ice on thing which are kept inside.
              3) there were so many time milk was sour and other item are not in that condition to eat.

              So let me know that who will pay for this loss!!

              They had change cooling tower and checked temperature, but still issue is not resolved. It's new refrigerator and within 5 month they had done so many experiment on that.

              I would also like to escalates people who are not responding well.

              1) nisha - who wear not attain call of my father, when they called from other number after that they attain called. What staff doing i would like to escalate the thing which are done by your team. I don't know what is her position and i would also like to know that is she responsible to attain call or not?

              2) chandrakant (Senior technical lead)

              As far as i know he is senior technical lead. When i ask at very first time about his cell number then he has not given me his number, will he responsible to give number or not let me know ?

              He came at my home around 3-4 time and check my refrigerator temperature and told that everything is fine if it's fine then why the refrigerator cooling not working!!

              3) hardik desai(Branch manager)

              Today my father got call and he told that refrigerator is working fine not possible to change.So i request you that if it working fine take away that refrigerator and give me back my money which i have spent.

              I am really frustrate now.

              All senior executive come and check my refrigerator but still issue is not resolve. They all are saying that temperature is perfect.If temperature is perfect, then in lower are of fridge why ice in every item? i need answer on it.

              Senior executive come at home and told me that you should not set temperature to 5. if i can not set temperature to max temperature then why LG Company has given max temperature to 7?

              I have also given snap shot of all product in it ice has been happen.still your Executive says that it's not possible and told that you have taken ice and put it inside.

              I want to replace my product and the loss of amount which i have bare till date.

              If i will not get any answer then i will bring this issue to the court.because i am not satisfied with your product.

              I need answer of the above mention point as soon as possible.if i will not get any answer then i will take legal action further

                I have purchased a new inverter ac and installation is not done till date. I' m also experiencing the worst response from service center kukatpally.                   Lg refrigerator is not working properly and generating poisonous gas. In spite of many complaint lg is not responding and fixing problem. They superficially send technician who never comes back.

                  I am highly frustrated because of the way lg - service center/ dealer are treating me and addressing my problem.

                  Issues – refrigerator is not working properly. Probably releasing harmful gas because of which food items are getting spoiled within day to two instead of keeping them fresh. It’s already been repaired one time and the problem is still persisted.

                  Additional complain – it’s regarding your service engineering team in thane west area specially ram mourya ([protected]) who has been providing wrong information to his seniors and dealers that he has fixed the issues without our consent. We are feeling cheated and request you to take strong action against him for this behavior.
                  Please also speak and set sheel ([protected]) right for his un-professional behavior as a manager who has not been responding intentionally in spite of many frequent calls just to ignore the issue.

                    As per my phone call for repair of the 1.5 ton split ac, a technician from mehdipatnam center, hyderabad has attended to the ac. Instead of repairing the small issue(The ac was working, but not cooling intermittently), he meddled with ac, broke the gas pipe and entire gas leaked with big noise. Mentioning he would come back, he vanished and did not return.

                    Request you please depute urgently a senior technician who knows his job well (And preferably from another service center), resolve the issue and also compensate me for the loss of refrigerant.

                      Hi,
                      I am sheshagiri h s. I had purchased lg refrigerator on april-02-2015. I am facing cooling issue from past few months. Initially i used to increase the cooling limit & switch off the refrigerator for some time and switch on later, and this worked. This issue was noticed in feb-2016, and i was away from home till 25- april -2016.
                      But now the refrigerator is completely dead and i have lost all the delicious and costly food items in the refrigerator.
                      Despite of all this inconvenience caused, your representative says charges are applicable for the service/repairs and on the components. I am an esteemed customer of lg products since 2001. I purchase lg products with an intention of long life and service but not with an expectation of one year & 25 days of life. This refrigerator has recently crossed the warranty period but not more than 20 days.
                      Kindly i request you to get this issue solved at free of cost and deliver the value added service as soon as possible.
                      My trust continues with lg if the issue is resolved.

                        I have been using a LG 1 TON window AC (Model: LWA3PR5D) for the lat 3 years. On 13th April I call LG customer support for a Wet Servicing that I use to do before every summer. On 14th the mechanic came and said that the AC has a leak though there were no cooling problem. But somehow he convinced me saying that within few days it will stop working. He collected Rs.960/- from me (460/- Service Charge and 500/- for transport). On 19th they came to deliver the repaired AC. Here are the observations

                        1. For GAS charging they have charged 1717 where as it should be 1100/- as mentioned in the backside of the bill (500/- gas filling labor & 600 Gas price). Transportation charge of Rs. 500 has already been paid previously. (All Images attached)

                        2. Paint Liquid Varnish is 250/-. I have no idea how come that little amount of varnish on the copper pipe can cost 250/-. (Images Link https://goo.gl/photos/x2sKr1N9K4veg6C9A )

                        3. They have said that the they will do a wet service also after repairing but at the time of delivery the inside components was not washed. (Images Link https://goo.gl/photos/x2sKr1N9K4veg6C9A )

                        4. On delivery I notice some seriously damaged section in the cooling mesh.; Upon asking the mechanic answered in a very casual way that these things happen at the time of repair and delivery.(Images Link https://goo.gl/photos/x2sKr1N9K4veg6C9A ). What kind of professionalism is this that the workers of your company cant even handle the product with care.

                        So as you can see as a customer I am seriously very much displeased and I think LG, once a very reputed brand from Korea has lost its former glory of customer satisfaction and service quality. They have started to cheat there customers by every means.

                            I have purchased ac day before yesterday. I got a installation call yesterday afternoon. But till 6.30 pm no one turned up. I got a call by 6.40 stating that someone will reach my place soon. I wanted them not to send anyone after 7.

                            However today also even after so many calls someone called me that they could come to my place by 7 pm only.

                            This is ridiculous. I want to return my purchase.

                              I am writing this mail for the reference complaint no: rna[protected].

                              I have purchase the lg-double door fridge of lg retail shop on 26.04.2016.When i got my product at my home when i open and switch not working.

                              I have wait for this 24 hour but after this fridge not working then after i l log the complaint your toll free number after that i got reference no after that 3-4 hour your technical have to come and told me product is defective it can be replaced into 2-3 working days.

                              But till now i m suffer problem i m not getting any resolution of this.

                              With this case i have talk for mr. Mohseen hasan, mr.Dinesh yogi and mr.Ashutosh

                              But nobody can give me resolution for that.

                              I requested to you kindly resloved it problem as soon as possible becasuse i suffer last 3 summer days.

                                Hello,

                                This is gaurav kumar purchased lg g4 h818n on 29/9/2015 imei no. [protected]. Few weeks before i stared facing booting problem in my mobile whenever i switch on my phone it shows lg logo and again get restarts. It keeps happening in a continuous loop.

                                On 22rd april friday, i went to noida center, they said phone's motherboard needs to be changed which we don't have and suggested me to go to greater noida service center.

                                On 23th april saturday, i went to greater noida service center and met mr. Somesh. He said the phone's pcb needs to be changed which will be available on monday.

                                On 25th april monday, i again visited greater noida service center and still the part was not available .I asked him is there any other service center in whole ncr region where i can get it repaired .He made some calls, said no the pcb of lg g4 is not available anywhere. Then, i asked him after how many days i can get my phone repaired. He said in about 4 days the pcb will be available then you can get your phone repaired.

                                Now today is 29th april, and still the part is not available.

                                It has been weeks i am not able to use my phone and cannot access the data stored in my phone.This has been a terrible experience with lg. And i have no hopes that my phone will get repair in further few days due to the unavailability of part.So kindly i request you to either replace my phone with new one as its in warranty right now or give me assurance that it will be reapired within next few days.

                                  This is to inform you that, we bought your television product purchased on jan-2015 product tv cost is rs. 1.13lks product, high end model. Few days back my lg tv completed the warranty period immediately my television has create an issue like white patches appeared inside the screen, like a white shade light spreads inside the tv panel. So this is the way lg manufacturing unit manufactures the product and supply to the consumers, how pathetic customer care service as well as no responsive answers too from any one, even the senior level to the bottom level, one more major thing is lg technical team(Outsourced team- golden enterprise service engineers supports lg technical issues) such an irrespective people, this service engineers will not provide solutions, they will provide ideas to sell your tv. They gave a quotation of my tv cost is rs.8000/- when i purchased rs.1.13lks, what an idea between the lg asm and service engineers. They planned for creating the bad impression. Irresponsible answers, no ownership.
                                  Service engineer told that we have spend another rs.40000/ for changing ur tv panel.

                                  Great service engineers and customer support team working for lg products.. Kudos... I strongly not recommend any lg products to the future buyers..

                                  Pls dont buy lg products.

                                  Pls dont sell unworthy line products.

                                    This is to bring into your notice the pathetic service provided by your engineer mr . Sanjay.

                                    I had purchased lg refrigerator 190 ltr in jan 2015 with 2 yrs extended warranty . There was cooling problem in fridge, my father raised a complaint we got reference number after 29 hrs and engineer mr sanjay visited our residence on monday . He came without any equipment and tried to convince us that it is a frost free fridge, how come single door fridge be frost free . When my father explained our vegetables and food is getting rotten then he told he dnt have equipment to check temperature and will come on tuesday . Till thursday no one came, when i called again on thursday to toll free number and had word with reshma she informed the complaint was closed by engineer saying the issue is resolved . It's ridiculous of your team, how they can work like this .

                                      An split ac (BSN12IBE) was purchased from khosla electronics pvt ltd. Kolkata (invoice no. 3124/1617/00945) on dt. 15/04/2016 getting assurance to deliver it within 3 days & install it but unfortunately it was delivered on 22/04/2016 and not yet fitted despite repeated reminders to the seller & L G customer care service center as well. Though khosla promised it was 'free installation', service center charges Rs. 2000/- for install. The service thus appears most unacceptable rather inappreciable.
