    This is to put on record the absolutely hellish ordeal I have been put through by LG electronics.

    It's more than a week since I have been trying to get my LG split AC serviced by your so called service centre and LG 'CARE' teamand uptil now there has been NO solution.

    To put the matter in black and white - In June 2015, I had initiated an AMC agreement with LG electronics for my AC. The service personnel told me my main papers will be delivered via mail by company. Just a couple of months earlier in March, we had entered into a similar AMC for same amount (Rs. 2716) for another AC (same model) for my father, who lives in the same building as me. Anyway, I didnt receive the so called AMC paper from your company. Neither has there been a SINGLE service given since June 2015.

    Now, when my AC has been having cooling issues and I called the customer care number, they intimated that I have to have the AMC paper by company, which is yet to be delivered to me! The care team directed me to the local Service centre saying they would help but the service guys said they just began operations and that the CAre team should know who handled it before them! MEanwhile the Care team gave me the service office number - [protected] (ashwini ottari), who by the way never picks up the phone!!

    I was promised a call back TWICE and I have yet to receive it. The last I spoke, to a supervisor named Hemant, who said is trying to himself get the service centre on the line and coordinate. Although I believe his intentions seemed genuine, it is clearly the ineptitude of your process that has left this glaring loophole.

    This is my argument -

    You can find atached my sr.no, model no. image as well as my bank account statement which shows clearly that I have paid LG electronics the said amount.

    Now, if you are the ethical company you make yourself to be, would expect you to uphold your commitment and send me the service personnel right away along with my AMC papers. Or refund my money of Rs. 2, 716 if I have to pay for my service in spite of having paid you'll for a service I can't avail of!

    You have 24 hours to revert on this. If you fail to do so, I will not spare any platform available (social media, legal recourse, writing to your heads) about this fraud you are running.

    Mr. Hemant from LG Care helped in getting through the new service centre who sent over a technician to inspect the model no. of AC. It was confirmed that we had paid the AMC and I have been assured of free service and complete repair in next few days. The problem was that the old service centre (which was been very poorly run - another AC model's AMC came to us with lot of errors in address, name etc!) had been shut and this new service centre has just been set up. Hopefully they will streamline their processes in the future and also send AMC documents while updating it in a common system, so it is accessible to all concerned! While it was a hellish week, am glad it is done and that the LG care supervisor, Hemant, helped us reach this solution! Thanks!

      Dear Sir,
      My name is Chandrashekar S from Hyderabad. I have raised at least 3 service requests by calling the 800 number of LG to service my LG Split AC starting 15th March, 2016.
      1. Wrong service center Comfort Cool, W. Maredpally, Secunderabad have called me twice to provide the service but this is the same center who had spoiled my AC few years ago when they attended to my service request
      2. For the last 4-5 times the technician from Himayat Nagar, Hyderaabad service center have been doing the service but why not this time and no reason is given to this
      3. My AMC is getting over in 1 week and is it that LG wanted me to renew the AMC without providing the service and is this why it is trying to cheat/ play all these kinds of drama
      4. Whenever I take the option 2 (to speak in English), the rep. talks to me only in Hindi stating that they are asked to speak only in Hindi. This I feel is DISCRIMINATION or else why give option to speak in English
      5. Multiple times when I called the rep, have disconnected the phone on PURPOSE the moment I asked if they can speak in English and told them that I opted 2 to speak in English. Is this how LG cheats its customers?
      6. When I tried to send the complaint (Online Grievance) for the last 3 days, I have been receiving the error stating LG's server is down. Is this ON PURPOSE that LG doesn't want to listen to any of the grievance and if so, why do they have that option on their website that is if it doesn't even work.

      I called the 800 number on 19th March 2016 to get info. about the amount for extending the AMC on the Split AC as it was expiring on 25th March 2016 and initially I was told that for the next 3 years I need to pay Rs. 2800 times 3 (2800 X 3) with 20% discount plus tax. After checking the records I was told by the executive with whom I was talking that it was by mistake that she said the amount of Rs. 2800 was for 3 years but instead she said that it would be 2800 X 2 and not 3 and the discount would be 15% plus tax.
      On 21st March the local LG representative from Comfort Cool came and told me that it was 2800 for first year but from next year onwards it would be Rs. 3500. I called the 800 number again to confirm and the executive told me that she would listen to the voice recording which took place on 19th March and said that she would confirm the amount and even after 5 days there is no call from LG India regarding this confusion as each one of your executive give me different amount that I need to pay.
      The entire conservation that I had with both the executives on 19th and 21st March has been recorded on my PHONE which itself is a proof to file a case against LG India for cheating and indulging in FRAUD and per RTI act providing me with wrong info., which means that LG India has been discriminating and harassing me in this way.

      I think that this is like CHEATING and FRAUD kind of game being played by LG as I know that LG has not listened to the conversation that I had with one of their executives on 19th March and as LG India knows that my AMC is expiring on 25th March they wanted to wait so that I had to pay that extra amount to continue having my AMC.
      As I mentioned above, I think that THIS IS CHEATING AND FRAUD that is being played by LG India as it is providing wrong information to me and not ready to accept that it has provided wrong info. but instead wanted met to pay that extra amount.
      I will be posting this not only on Face Book and other medias the way LG India has cheated me by providing wrong info. per RTI act but also will send this info. to all the LG offices across the world stating as to how LG India has cheated and played a fraud kind of trick on me just to get few additional amount from me or denying AMC to me for no fault of me.
      Even after raising the first issue with LG India no one from the LG India Corporate office Manager has called and talked or tried to resolve my issue, which means that LG India has not only discriminated me but also I feel that I am being unnecessary harassed by LG India in this way.
      Also, I will send this to your corporate office/ CEO and to whoever possible from LG as well as filing a case with Indian Consumer Grievance/ Consumer Court Directly stating the entire episode as to how LG India have been indulging in first of all denying service to me even though I had the AMC and secondly, by providing wrong info. and now denying AMC to me.

          Very Bad experience with LG product support, Recently i have purchased a refrigerator from filpkart

          but now facing some issue in first installation. So i called LG support guys but they unable to help

          and
          told that any kind of support from our side will be chargeable. LG such a big company just want to

          make money for any kind services after product purchased and don't care about the consumer

          satisfaction. Many companies provide first installation free of cost but LG will not.
          Very worst experience i have after purchasing LG product. Now my believe over LG is lost today and i

          will never suggest any one to purchase any LG product.

            Since last two month I am facing browser / application crass issue in my smart TV, I raised complaint and LG technicians visited 3 times, every time they repaired, replaced mother board and run away, before check the issue get resolved or not.
            After escalated this issue with higher authority, LG picked my TV to their service center. There also I shown what exactly the issue is .
            Now they are saying, issue is not with the TV, issue is with network.
            I can understand issue may exist in some network, but not in all network.
            I shown the issue with wired connection, with WiFi router network, with my mobile data connection, with LG technician mobile network, with 3g datacard in LG service center. After verifying with all above network, if issue exist in tv mins something wrong in TV .LG is not accepting this fact. LG is making me full.
            Indirectly so called reputed brand in TV, now a days chatting customer by selling faulty product.

            After 15 day's of repair and quality testing. LG returned my TV saying, issue got resolved and no point in keeping TV in service center. I asked them to test scenario given by me, if everything is working fine then send the TV.
            LG guys said, they have tested all possible scenario, even Korea technician also tested the same thing, they also not got any issues.

            After installing TV, I just tried browsing gmail, browser get crashed.
            Immediately I call the concern person, and said the same thing, he contacted the person who verified the issue.

            I asked him, what you did in 15 days, still issue exist in TV.
            Pease tell me, have you verified the scenario what I asked to test.

            His answer is, we have tested this issue in our tv, not your TV .
            If issue get reproduced in our TV then only we will take action. And this is a procedure in LG. We can't do anything before we get same issue in our TV.

            I said, boss issue is with my TV not with your demo TV . I am getting this issue since last 2 month, I shown this issue to everyone with different network. Still you people are saying that issue is not with tv, we are not getting such issue in our TV.

            This is something same as direct cheating to the customer.

            Try to fix the issue from problematic product, what is the point in finding issue in good product.

            If customer is facing the problem, LG have to accept this fact and try to resolve such problem.

            For so called branded company, if you want to maintain same brand in future. If product is not working as per the specifications, then something wrong with the product. If you people are not able to fix the problem then, either replace the product or refund customer money. Don't cheat to customer

            I am fighting with same people from last two months, the above result I have mentioned is from these people and service center.

            Again you are doing the same thing, by assigning complaint to same people, then may be I need to go further with the legal action on you.

            If resolution is not given to me in couple of day, then may be I need to take legal action on you.

            This is a new status from LG

            Still problem exist, executive come to see the issue, and went back without solving the problem, saying I will inform this issue to my senior.

            After 3-4 days got call from customer care saying that, as per last update from executive TV is working fine so we are closing this ticket.

            Don't know without solving problem how you people are closing the tickets. what is the use of raising customer complements if you people are closing without solving the problem.

            Worst service, not satisfied with the service.
            I am planning to buy new TV. but as per the customer service and the LG recent activity ...better to buy good brand other than LG... I was positive hope from LG, but now a days LG also cheating to the customer, this is shameful and very bad for branded TV manufacturer

            I will not buy LG TV and in future I will not recommend my family & friends to go with this brand.

                  I bought one lg double door refrigerator 240lts f/free(Wire blossom), model:gl258ve5(Sl.No:106nrnk118743)in may 2012 from m/s gangotri electronics, haridwar-249401(Uttrakhand), india.
                  Regret to mention functioning of above piece showed very poor performance & harresed. After 30months in dec2014 stoped cooling.Lg service centre in haridwar repaired in jan.2015 & h/o me after 10days.
                  2nd time again just after 6months(Aug.15) it's working stoped (Cooling dead). 2nd time again neccessary repair done in service centre, haridwar. Both time fault found on co. Shoulder & refrigerator h/o to me assuring it will function well.But sir sorry to say 3rd time in march 2016(After 6 months period)stoped cooling again.I am dis-appointed too much at this stage with this lg refrigerator n sevices.In future i won't go for lg product.
                  Kindly look into matter and i finally would like it is better to replace refrigerator by new piece for maintaining co. Reputation & customer satisfaction. Refrigerator 3rd time in a year is with lg service centre haridwar & diagnosed compressor shortened.Sir very poor condition.
                  Hopefully will do best in favour of your customer n specially this case.

                    I had my LG Front Loading Washing Machine serviced a few days earlier.
                    It was realized, there was No Issue with the Machine.

                    I was asked to pay Rs 450/- visit charges and Rs 65.50 as Service Tax

                    When I asked for a receipt, I was told the Company does not give a receipt for the money collected.

                    Instead I received an SMS thanking me for the payment. Confused at this.

                      Lg led tv-42lb6200 – purchased jan, 2015.. Fault occurred feb 2016 (Exactly after one year-no warranty). Rna[protected] complaint registered. Rs. 4000 charged for main pcb board change- service person ([protected])—clarity of tv is not good. I asked to replace the board (Because i doubt the board’s originality). He refused and no proper response(No knowledge of fault) from him. So, i asked him if possible, just take the board and repay me. He assured of removing the board and giving the amount next day because he don’t have amount on 05.02.2016 (Rs. 300 deduction for that). But he cheated us and never came back again. Cn[protected] cn[protected] cn[protected] complaints registered but not yet resolved. I am posting here for getting a solution to this issue.

                        One month ago I bought a new LG 42LF6500 LED smart TV from the LG showroom. Now it has display problems. When contacted to LG services they told PCB has to be replaced and they gave reasons like not to use pendrive or hard disk or cabelled set-top box, which doesn't make any sense. Now we have warranty and it can be replaced. What if some other major problem persists after a year or so. How to trust the brand since it's giving such a major problem just after 1 month of buying. It seems to be a faulty or damage product. So I need the refund or replacement for a new TV. Please take it into serious consideration. If not the same complaint will be escalated further.

                        I also facing same problem with smart TV, no result after fighting more than 2 months, LG will make fun of you and enjoy there day.
                        LG will not solve your problem, they will frustrate you like anything, just wait, there next step is, ask you to purchase additional warranty.
                        Better go in Court, police station, file a fraud case on these so called branded company.

                          LG cheating customers by providing fake specification information on their website. After sales they removing the spec details. I purchased LG G4. At the time of purchase they told the phone support wireless charging and the same information was available in their website. Later I found this dual sim version doesn't support wireless charging. I raised complaint regarding the same. But the service people not at all care about customers and simply saying that we were given initially and later on we dropped the information. It is completely cheating. Please arrange to refund other wise I will file a consumer complaint

                            the 680 ltr (LG) refrigerator went of (due to compressor) on 5th March 2016 and is under warranty. till date (12 March 2016) it is not repaired and i have made not less than 25 calls and a dozen mails to various customer care (?) but nothing has happened.
                            i am staying in Pune City where the Company have large no of outlets and service centers but no one is serious of prompt action.
                            please, note that service provider in Pune is worst and there are many such incidences with this vendor.
                            i should have thought of this issue before buying but i would like to alert general buyer to think twice before buying any LG product.

                              I called the LG customer care and registered for simple service of my full working AC as I was going to use the AC after the monsoon. The service man came, checked and said everything OK and required cleaning the internal filters which could be done in their service station. I regularly clean the filters and maintain them properly. I have accepted his advice and arranged for this shop service. The service personel took the AC (both indoor and out door unit) to their service station and brought back after 2 days and fitted on 13th Feb2016 evening in my absence. when I came that night and switched on the system it was not working. I called the guys again and they came inspected the same and said the cable has to be renewed and asked me to purchase it. I gave them new cable and they changed it but found that the problem was some thing else. They went back saying that they will come with new board and check which is not happening till date and I am stuck with a defective unit in place of a working unit. It is clear that the service guys had no idea about servicing. They have not done any cleaning in their service station and it was evident when they took out lot of dirt from the out door unit when they visited the second time to attend the repair.

                              I need the AC in working condition as we are heading in to summer in Chennai.

                              This complaint remains unresolved. The AC that was in working condition has been spoiled by the LG service team that had no training. It remains a dead AC for the last one month. The Area Manager's phone remains unattended every time call is made. The complaint I have registered in the LG website shows as resolved.

                              AS I can see in this page, there are 3925 complaints made and only 24 were resolved. This goes to show that LG is treating India as a dumping ground for their products that have no quality. A fit case for recommending Anti dumping charges for all LG products being imported into India.

                              The 3925 complaints are only in the consumer complaints forum. The number must be exponentially high if all LG complaints are accounted for and remain unresolved. Their web page record hides this fact and shows the complain as resolved while the customer is left with a piece of junk at home.

                                Hi, I have been chasing my complaint RNA[protected] since past 2 months, not only I havent got any solution but also response from sigma services has been pathetic. They never give a call back, when I call them they are in no position to inform about status of solution. After two months o[censored]ncertainty they tell me to take the refund, its such a shame. I agreed even for that, yet they did not respond to take things ahead. I have suffered enough and may have to resort to consumer forum.
                                P.S I regret my association with LG.

                                  I have purchased this 42LF6500 TV on 1st Nov which free bluetooth (NP1540B/W) offer that time.
                                  pruchsed this from BAJAJ Electronics, Kondapur, Hyderabad showroom and they delivered very fastly on 25th Dec -2015 which 2 months after purchase and reason they said is no stock.

                                  During delivery they promised within 10days they will give free bluetooth speaker but as usual they did not given that free accessory till now. and i am keep on following up with them they are saying that LG is not provided that free accessory.

                                  I am not sure this problem with showroom people or from your side.
                                  Please have a look about this issue and show me some action on this.

                                      I am having a fatal issue with my device lg g4 h818n. I had bought the mobile from snapdeal on 10-Oct-2015, as such it is still in warranty. It was just on 3rd this month that my mobile powered off and got stuck on the lg logo and then i tried to pull the battery out and powered it on again, but nothing happened. I looked the issue up on internet and found that this was the issue with all lg g4 handsets and lg company has vowed to repair all the affected devices. I then went to lg service center in srinagar.They issued this as a motherboard problem and said that they are waiting for the motherboard to arrive. It has been a week nearly and still they are not repairing my phone. I want my phone desperately as it was the only smartphone i was having. I request you to please look into the matter. My imei no. is [protected]. Also i have called lg customer care 2, 3 times and it seems that they have no idea of this bootloop issue . Also i have sent emails to lg customer support and they are not replying me. I trusted lg for this product and i wish not to be let down by lg.

                                      My Lg G4 is having a boot loop issue again. This issue came before also in the phone and since it was under warranty, it was fixed. But now this issue has come up again. We went to the LG Service center and they said since it is not under warranty, they will not fix it free of cost.

                                      First of all I want to know when this issue previously came. At that time why phone was not replaced. Since you made a temporary fix to it. Now it has come up again. This is not user's fault and it is manufacturing fault.
                                      You can not make fool out of customers.

                                      I have come across many people and they have made it fix even after warranty. I want my phone to be fixed since it related to manufacturing and it was not replaced when it was under warranty. Had it been done that time, I would not have faced this issue now. Its been week my phone is not working.

                                      Kindly acknowledge this and revert as soon as possible.
