I had registered a complaint before at least 4 months and was committed to get an exchange of the Refrigerator. The complaint number is RNA[protected]. I was promised to get a new refrigerator with the same capacity.Service center person had provided me the new model number of the refrigerator which I had confirmed to get. After few days from my confirmation the service center team is replying that the same model is not available. Instead you can take your money back and purchase another refrigerator of LG or other company of your choice. I had purchased refrigerator for 30, 000 INR while same capacity new LG refrigerator costs 37, 000 INR. My problem is I am not getting current market value for the refrigerator. Due to this, I need to add another 7000 INR to purchase new refrigerator ( Same capacity LG Product). I understand - it is company's responsibility to handle such kind of issue rather than completing the relationship with existing customer. I want either market value as refund or I need new refrigerator of the same capacity.

    Dear LG Customer Service Representatives, I had bought a 479 GSXD4 LG Refrigerator (Serial Number : 304PRZZ059093) on 13-June-2013 from S K Mall Dealers in Aligarh, U.P, at a cost of 50, 000 Rupees. Immediately after the purchase the refrigerator was found to have cooling problems within first week. I had brought into the notice of customer service of LG. There was no response after registering the complaint and after continuous follow up for 15 days the technicians arrived. The visiting technicians had diagnosed that the capillaries were blocked. It took more time as they said the required part was not available and later they changed the capillaries and assured that this will not happen again. The dealership had conveyed that this may happen due to mis-handling in transportation but now that it has been repaired it should throw any problems to us. While we were very skeptical of the fact that we are using an appliance which is problematic being new. We had also requested the dealership on changing the product immediately as we do not expect a 50, 000 costing product to be delivered with cooling fault. They somehow kept dodging our request and we accepted to use the appliance after assurances of proper functioning in future. But the same problem had started to show up again and is on extreme now. The product is under warranty and may again require repairs. My serious concern is on the fact that the product should have been changed the very time it was developing problems in the first week of purchase itself, and now that it is developing the same problems over again what is the assurance that we will not be bothered again in future. We did not spend our hard earned money (50, 000 Rupees) for a product which starts to give you problems from day one and the problem keeps recurring. It is highly UN-ETHICAL and UNACCEPTABLE. Why should I accept product which is technically not fit from the very purchase time and will continue to throw problems and expense leave alone the time and efforts inconvenience caused in follow-ups with customer service. The warranty will end in a month and then we will be bearing the burden of repair expenses as well along with the pain of owning a 50, 000 Rs. product which was delivered to us with an existing fault. The ideal way should be to change our appliance with new appliance of same model and maintain the standards of customer service image that led us to buy an LG product. We are highly di-satisfied with the way the dealer has push-sold a faulty product to us just for his benefit. I have lost faith in LG products due to this bad and painful experience after spending a premium cost. My last hope is from LG directly and this is the very reason that I am approaching LG with a hope that my complaint will be resonated in a JUST and FAIR manner with IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION by Replacing the appliance failing which I will be forced to take the matter to Customer and Public Forums. I am not at all prepared to accept this state of mal-practice and victimization of customer. This is a clear befooling of customer and misleading of customer to drive him towards bearing a faulty product at a premium cost. I request the LG customer service to please consider my request and process the replacing of my Refrigerator with another one of same model. I would look forward to an expedited processing of my complaint and resolution of the same. Why should a customer be VICTIMIZED after spending their hard earned money and be TAKEN FOR GRANTED.       This is to inform that on lodging a complaint against my washing machine Lg electronics customer care had sent a Service Executive who did nothing to resolve the problem which i was facing except damaging it all the more.My complaint no is RNA[protected] .i am shocked and disguisted with such negligence on his part and hate having had the faith in this organization.

        I had delivered out door Air Conditioner bearing serial number LSA6NR3F on date 12/05/2014 to M/s. Pareekh Refregeration, South Malaka, Ram Bagh, Allahabad for repair & maintenace. This Conditioner is under Warranty period. Procurement date was 22/07/2014. Condensor of this conditioner is to be replaced. M/s. Pareekh Refregeration, Allahabad says that condensor had been ordered to LG electronics, but it did came till date. Pl. look into the matter and resolve the problem at the earliest.

            I am using an LG L5 phone since August 2013 and am facing multiple problems since the very beginning, when i visited the service centre the tech guy just formatted the phone, updated it and returned it back. This thing happened thrice, but on requesting further the authorised person kept my phone under supervision for about two weeks and angain returned it back after that but this too didn't solve the problem . On complaining again the service centre tells me that they can't help with the situation and nothing can be done with the phone.

Solution by LG:- Problem not solved and I invested 1500 rs. On gas charging and piper changing+ my time I invested skipping my office schedules.+ food itmes getting spoiling since last 3 months. N020492/A/1748 PRODUCT GL-305-VV5, SERIAL NO. 108NTH012625 NEXT COMPLAINT NO.RNA[protected] RAISED ON 29/04/2013, TILL NOW NO SOLUTION AS I AM MONITORING YOUR FRIDGE AS IF I AM AQUALITY PERSON OF YOUR COMPANY. ATTACHEMENT:- REPAIR RECIEPT This is with reference to my LG double door refrigerator cooling issues. I purchased this refrigerator in April 2012, in December 2013 cooling issues aroused and in January 2014 LG service guy told that gas is leaking and need to be refilled and gas pipe need to be changed. Just after 15 days from this event again cooling issues aroused, service guy is asking me to monitor and call when it is not cooling. Now the refrigerator stops cooling every now and then and I need not give you proof of that. I have already invested almost more than 15% of money I invested in buying refrigerator within 1.5 years of purchase. And I am sure the way you are approaching the problem within 6 months I will invest more than 50% of the amount. Better take away refrigerator from my home and give me replacement or my money back. Your LG personnel has advised to change all the parts cooling coil, compressor, but the service guy came with the parts and didn’t changed saying there may be some other problems. and advice me to monitor and hopefully nothing will happen without checking and repairing anything. I am asking you, why you people are not able to solve the problem, I am not going to invest any more amount in this. Since last three months you are not able to solve a single problem I.e. of cooling, you don’t which part is problematic. Refrigerator comprises of five basic parts, 1)compressor 2)cooling fans 3)thermostat 4)timer 5)may be cooling gas. Please replace my refrigerator, I will not allow you to do any more field trials at my home or monitoring the refrigerator. I am sure this must be established product in the market. I am afraid I just purchased LG washing machine. I don’t know what will happen. I afraid to recommend LG products to anybody althout I had good impression about this before I had this bitter experience. I had a talk with Ms kadambari patil /Mr. gaurav and they assured me that if this time problem is not solved we will do something. I am waiting for your something. I am struggling in this summer season with refrigerator since last 3 months. Advice to LG:- Please appoint qualified personnel for service. Presently the person is not experienced enough to solve the problem. I am from manufacturing domain too, I can understand failure of the products but you should solve the problem or replace it with new system.                 We purchased a microwave on 18/05/14 and was delivered on 19/05/14. Today 20/05/14 the LG person was supposed to come by 7.PM and we rushed from office and reached home by 7 PM. LG person arrived by 7.30 PM and without doing the demo he just went back. and we got a message that "as per customer request it is rescheduled". We did not ask for any reschedule. We called up at LG customer care and got a reply that they will take up with higher authority. Now again we need to make adjustments to be at home for ur persons demo. Just because of LG person's irresponsibility we are facing problem and not able to use the oven which we bought to save time on working days.

As per your TAT which is 72 hours i did not received any communication from your side even your call center is not giving proper answer regarding this. I request to you please look into this matter as soon as possible otherwise i will take appropriate action regarding your services through consumer forum due to i was deprived of[censored]ses my fridge in this very hot summer.                     Please do not ask me to again email on your [protected]@lge.com because I have done that several times and I only get a response sating that some one will look into it and resolve in 48 hrs. No one calls nor resolves. The local area service center officers are more to the pain. Please some one call from a complaints addressal board or HO after looking at this complaint. Hello Team, This is in regards to my ticket numbers; RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] My name is Pratik I am a very happy LG user, be it a phone or a TV. This issue, which is now I am raising as a complaint is for a 42” LCD TV which I bought late in the year 2008. Original invoice scanned copy attached. After the extended warranty got over after 2 years of purchase I bought another one year LG promise warranty for some 4600/- (approximately) I don’t remember the exact amount now. I bought this warrantee last year in the month of Aug, I believe. So now my LCD TV is covered under manufacturers warrantee. In the month of Dec 2013 I complained that my TV’s display screen have developed some black patches over all the four sides and at times a horizontal line flashes after continuous use of 4-5 hours. So to report this issue I called the customer services and they assigned this case to your service center. The Service center guys came home, checked the TV and conformed that there is a problem. He promised to get the display replaced. I gave him a photo copy of my warrantee so he could place the part order. After waiting for 15 days as committed, the ticket was cancelled. Don’t know what reason. I again called your call center and raised a new ticket. This time the service center guy did not come at all and the ticket was cancelled stating that there was no one at home. In the month of Feb I raised a new ticket., your service center guy visited and took down the complaint and asked for warrantee copy to place the part order. He asked me to wait for the part to arrive in 10-15 days. In about 15 days my ticket again got cancelled stating that the part is discontinued. (Not my fault, and not my problem) When I asked the service center guys he said that the part is discontinued and he can’t get my TV fixed y changing the display. But as a work around he said that LG will pay me the cost of the display which costs around[protected], so I can use that money to buy any other LG TV. I denied to take that offer because I had paid for the warrantee and as per LG promise it is LG’s commitment to resolve and make sure that my 42”LG LCD TV is in fantastic working condition. To this he said this is the only option, I take it or leave it. After thinking for couple of days I told him that I am okay to go with the only option I am left with. After my confirmation this guys enthusiastically asked me to handover my original invoice copy of my TV purchase. He said that it is necessary to raise this claim with LG. I told him that the device and the original invoice are purely customers property and hence I found it inappropriate to hand over this copy to him. I called customer service to complain about it and they said that I should not be handing over the original copy, a customer only has 100% rights as that is the only evidence to prove the ownership. Next day the service center guy agreed to proceed with my case with a photo copy of invoice. The real drama starts here… Now the service center guy asks me to go to a LG store and choose a new TV and tell him the model number. Which I did. I told him that I would be interested in a 28 inch LED TV (28LN5155) costing 21900/- NLC and 24000/- DP. He made his calculation and asked me to wait so he can check with LG head office. After a day he came back to me with the amount LG will compensate. He asked me to make a DD or an online payment of 14000/- against the dealer price (DP) for the above model. He said that once I make the payment of 14000/- LG will add another 10000/- and deliver the 28 inch LED TV (28LN5155) at my home address. I had a debate with him that why are you guys charging me with the dealer price when it should be the NLC, but he told me that I should take it or leave it. (as if I made a mistake by buying LG tv and on top of that buying warrantee) This guys was making me pay on top of the warrantee I paid, but I was still satisfied that I will have a new TV as LG was passing on the display cost to me so I can but another TV. And then I was shocked when this person said that when the new TV will be delivered the OLD TV will be takes away. This was a real shocker to me. I bought the 42” LCD for 60000/- plus warrantee for some 4600/- after paying so much, instead of repairing my TV, he asked me to pay another 14000/- for a 28” and take away my old TV?????????? This is outrageous. How can one take away my OLD TV when you have done anything to resolve the issue with the OLD one. If LG would have carried out the repair the cost of part was anyways [protected], so instead of LG spending on the part you gyts are passing on that to me on new TV purchase, so why would one touch my old TV. I have asked this guy that I will be making this complaint official and will take this to all the higher levels. IF not resolved I will take it to fair trades as well. I want some senior to look into this matter as a matter o[censored]rgency and importance, because this entire episode is going on since December 2014 and the way I was treated all this while was worse than dirt. For a company like LG our entire family never expected this kind of treatment for their customers. As a resolution I am clearly requesting the below, I will be happy and content if one of the below is worked out as a resolution; 1) Replace the faulty display 2) If the display is discontinued and you cannot repair the old TV. Replace it with a new 42” LCD/LED TV. (my TV is a 42” LCD TV). You can take the old TV at the time of new delivery. But this has to be a 42” only. 3) If you do not agree with point number 2 then provide me with a new 28” LED TV free of cost. In this case my old TV will still be my property. This is not a replacement, but a compensation for all the trouble you guys caused and failure to adhere to the LG warrantee promise. Regards, Pratik [protected]

                      We had already lodged the complaint i.e RNA[protected]. And the complaint was lodged on 12.05.2014. The LG technician replaced the compressor unit on 13.05.2014 as there was no cooling. After then there was no improvement in cooling. Then it was found it is due to excess of Refrgerant gas. So they released the excess gas. Now it is about two days there is no effective cooling. So i just want to replace the unit by a new one. As the product is only 2 months old.

                          This is about 7 years old product. The compressor was replaced just 6 months back by LG only, but it has malfunctioned again. When the issue was escalated to branch manager, Noida/ Ghaziabad, they simply closed the complaint by stating that it was a old product, hence can't be repaired. When I asked them to provide me the parts nos. which have malfunctioned so that I can raise it to LG Global whether those parts are available or not, they didn't bother to even respond to my mails. This is extreme example of highhandedness. LG India doesn't seem to have a redressal mechanism, whom this issue can be escalated. That's why branch manager, Mr. O P Pandya didn't bother to give me the part no.. Apparenty they haven't really diagnosed the problem properly, hence are hesitant in giving the part no. which has malfunctioned. I have been purchasing all my home appliances (ACs/LEDs/Washing machine/ Micro-waves etc) of LG only for last 15 years but this incident has shaken my trust badly, forcing me to reconsider whether I should buy or recommend LG products ever.                           The latest complaint no. is RNA[protected] which was closed by LG Noida service centre on May 13, 2014 again citing the reason " discontinued part". But they consistently refuse to give the part name and no. to me. I had lodged the similar complaint on March 22, 2014 (=/- one day as I don't remember the exact date now) for the same problem which was similarly closed by your LG Noida service centre citing the same reason.

                          Now when this issue got escalated to branch manager of LG Ghaziabad branch, Mr. O.P. Pandya, he also didn't respond on my mails asking for the part name and no. which as per them is "discontinued"

                          I've been hearing these assurances for long, for about 2 months now but without any action on the ground. I would like to raise my concern to the higher authorities at LG India so that it can be addressed asap.

                          Well I am in the same boat and the same LG refrigerator. Mr. Pandya and the entire LG crew says they cannot diagnose what is wrong. The only issue with my refrigerator is that it looses its cooling intermittently in the freezer. Not good for LG!
                          I can understand your plight. Have gone through it and find that its almost impossible to escalate the issue to higher ups in LG as apparently they don't have any grievance redressal mechanism in LG. Because nothing of that kind appears on their website. I even tried LG global website but didn't find any way to reach higher authorities even there. I am at a loss as to what to do next!!! But won't leave it there. I have to escalate this issue to higher ups in LG whether in India or at LG Global so that they appreciate the customer's plight.

                            Dear Team, I want to bring to your notice that i purchased LG optimus L90 last friday i.e. on 8th May 2014. After few hours o[censored]sing it i started to see a very visible flickering/ fluctuation in the display. Please note that the phone does'nt come with a auto brightness sensor, moreover it was a contineous flickering. The very next day i contacted the mobile dealer, personally visited him and showed him the contineous flickering thing. He also felt so that there is some issue with the phone's hardware. He asked me to visit the service center first and get the mobile checked. Also he told me about LG's policy of replacing the handset. The dealer from where i purchased the phone told me about some "DOA letter" that the service center guys will give me post seeing the problem, and my current handset will be replaced with a new one. It was yesterday i.e. 11th May 2014(Sunday) that i called up LG customer care to tell them about the issue and also to get the address and other details of the service center. As Sunday is the weekly off for the LG Mobile service center, i made a visit today. Talking about my experience, it was kind of a very bad one. I showed them the flickering thing, and they agreed that the issue is there and the problem is genuine, though no action was taken to get the problem rectified. According to the technical staff there this is a common problem with all handsets. And finally they asked me to live with it. Now after spending around Rs. 16, 500 on LG optimus L90 i am very well seeing the contineous screen flicker issue. Please help me with the situation as the phone is only 4 days old and as per LG's policy a defective phone can be replaced within a week's time of its purchase. After coming back from the service center, i again called up LG customer care to register the complaint for both the mobile handset as well as LG service center. The did not register the complaint, but have provided me with the contact of their Area Sales Manager, Mr. Amit Rathore. Hence called him many times and the person is not responding.                             i bought a LG L90 DUAL on 11th of this month (11/06/2014) and it has been giving me problems. I went to the service center in secunderabad and that guy tells me "WHY DID YOU BUY AN LG PHONE".

                            i went to the head service center at panjagutta and told them they are not willing to give me a DOA letter. I HAVE 6 VIDEOS TO PROVE THAT MY TOUCH IS NOT WORKING AND THERE ARE DEAD PIXELS ON MY SCREEN, the service people are not listening to me and saying give the phone for service. IT IS LG'S POLICY TO CHANGE THE PHONE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE. I have videos I SHOWED THEM TO THE MANAGER BUT AGAIN THEY DONT LISTEN.

                            IF THIS IS THE SERVICE OF YOUR LG SERVICE CENTER THEN I REGRET BUYING A LG PHONE AND WILL PASS ON THIS MESSAGE TO MY FRIENDS ALSO.

                                Hi, I purchased LG 3d LED TV on 28-Mar-2014 from LG best shop, the TV is a clear FLOP for displaying 3D content. There is doubleness in the images that the TV produce. Having a dynamic MCI of 100 Hz for a 3D tv is a FLOP. Time and again I have raised my concern to LG customer care but of no use (RNA[protected] and RNA[protected] they have clearly accepted that, it is no issue with the TV and the TV can only produce ghosty 3D images or 3D images with crosstalk (we can see a transparent 3D image after the original image), if such is the case why such a 3D tv is being sold to customers, atleast the customers should have been educated about this before buying. You are trying to sell OLD GENERATION 3D tv's to the customers and thinking that customers are dumb.

                                I went to LG best shop and saw the difference between 400hz TV and 100Hz TV the difference was significant and the problem did not occur in the 400hz TV. Our eye is getting strain when constantly seeing these doubled 3D images.

                                Worst part is that the customer care executive said that the problem will not occur when we see from 3D blue ray player and problem will occur only when seeing from USB content. So do need to spend another 10000 for buying blue ray player ? and if I had bought that and still it existed (which obviously will exist since it is a 100HZ TV) will he refund the amount ? The 400HZ had absolutely no problem when displaying 3D from usb content. His number is [protected] (hope his name is Vishnu).

                                All I would require is to pay that extra money in exchange of my TV and get the model that has 400HZ. I had bought products from LG previously worth rupees 2Lakhs in LG brand shop in last 3 months, now if this is how the support given to customers from LG service, I would prefer not to buy any product from LG in future and see to that everyone is educated in social networking before buying a product from LG.

                                LATER A SENIOR EXECUTIVE CAME AND CHECKED THE TV AND FOUND THE SAME ISSUE THAT CANNOT BE CORRECTED. HE SAID HE WILL SEND A MAIL AND KEEP UPDATED. NOW HE IS NOT PICKING UP THE CALL AND NO UPDATES FOR LAST ONE WEEK.

                                  This is with reference to Service Request No. RNA[protected] opened by me on 2nd May 2014. On 9th May 2014 your Uttam Nagar region Delhi Service center (Sharp Services) fradulently closed my complaint by giving the remark - Customer not contactable despite both my numbers available with the service center being switched on all the time and working. This is sheer cheating by Lg's service team as they are aware that my AMC for the said product expires on 10th May 2014 and they simply want to delay the complaint to take it out of AMC period. I have reopened the same complaint today i.e. 9th May 2014 again itself vide service request no. RNA[protected]. Kindly ensure that same is attended to within my AMC.

                                      at the date 29th april lg technicain visited at my house and just seen the problem, not resolved...
                                      Every day i follow up about my problem at LG customer care as well as Local service center... every day they all promise me to resolve my call at the same day but no one is visited at my house...
                                      LG customer care also provide me Mrs Bhavana Patel number who is the customer support head for my region.. but she is also not pick up my phone AND not giving me a response...

                                        this is regarding my lcd tv model no 42LM6690-TC which has a display problem and i have given the complaint for the same on[protected] vide complaint no.[protected] for which the technician came to our house and told we will order the part from the company and than we will collect the TV, on 29-4-14 they took the TV to their service station and told that it will be delivered to us within 2 days, but till now i have not received my TV back, i didn't expected such type of service from such a big and esteemed company. my children have holiday in their school so i have activated kids channel on my tata sky setup box but all in vain, i even requested the technician to deliver the TV at the earliest as children have no other mode of entertainment. i have spent so much money on the TV to get the best to my children but i think i have made a great mistake by taking your product, better if i had gone for another brand. though my complaint is nor resolved than too they have closed this complaint and gave me a new complaint no which is[protected]. made many complaints but no one is able to solve this. the only hope left is that i have to lodge a complaint to consumer court. before doing so i want to give a last try. you can contact me on my no.
