Hi Team, I'd purchased LG Nexus 5 (IMEI: [protected]) on 10th February 2014 from a Retail store (OnTrack Mobiles, BTM 2nd Stage) of Rs. 33, 999. After one month, I started facing multiple issues and I contacted Google support Team for the same. They were very prompt to help and helped me trying some troubleshooting steps. After all, they came to a conclusion that phone needs to be replaced. They asked me for the OrderId, but I told them that I have not purchased the mobile from Google website. So, they asked me to contact manufacture (LG) for further help. I contacted LG for the same, but they are saying that even if the phone is faulty, they won't be doing the replacement as it is under the LG Policies in India. But, again checked with Google, and they told that they do replacement in India if the phone is faulty. I have been following up with LG Support team for move than two weeks, but they are not responding properly and now they are not even responding. Let me put down all the issues which I'm facing and all the troubleshooting performed: 1. Unable to copy files/folder from phone to computer (windows OS). After connecting the phone, when I try to copy a file or folder, I gets "Processing" dialog box, and it gets stuck there for forever. When I click on that, it says "Not Responding" and gets closed. It's happening all the time. Troubleshooting Performed: Reset the Mobile phone and formatted everything. But the issue is still there. Also, tried with 3 computers, out of which 1 was laptop, but the issue was same in all. 2. Call getting dropped even when the network signal shows full strength. Troubleshooting Performed: Disabled Location and all other addition services, but the issue remains same. Tried different carrier's SIM, and issue was still there. Tried my SIM card in my friend's phone (Samsung Note 3) and kept for 2 days.. Didn't face any call dropping issue. 3. The main issue, which is the "SIM Card added" message and asking for restart the phone now and then. This one is really annoying and it keeps me busy checking phone periodically to check if I need to restart the mobile, because until and unless I restart the mobile, the network won't be there and I would be missing all the calls at that period of time. Troubleshooting Performed: The same troubleshooting which was performed for 2nd point. And even with my friend's SIM card, I was getting that error message. Also, after resetting the phone, cleaning and re-inserting SIM card, the issue is still there. It happens couple of times in a day or sometimes in 2-3 days. And sometimes, it happens repeatedly in the interval of few hours. Please help me out to get the issue resolved. Thanks and kind regards, Pawan Kumar

    I believed LG manufactured quality products, it was only a year and 3 months (12 months is a short warranty provided by them- strategy), that my 42 in plasma TV (A2PA4520.ATR) purchased from Snehanjali (Kandivli) gave way, i heard but never believed that LG products are made not to last, moreover the technician who visited said that the Display is gone and that i need to pay Rs 18K, as good as the price of the TV.
    Life isnt good like this?
    Please ensure that you (LG) take responsibility and get the display repaired at your own cost considering the fact that i just missed the warranty period...

        after purchasing lg led tv on 31st March till date i.e 4/4/2014 no one has come to for installation amd demos. even after fixing an appointment well in advance with continous reminder on a daily basis we r recieving false promises the same false promises are given frim the dealers end and not fulfilled. they are not ready to answer any calls and eventually have switched off their phones. we r waiting till date..this has left a horrible impression about lg. and next time we will not consider this brand. and will not recommend it to anyone

          I have raised a request (the request number is: Rna[protected] a long ago. The request was to replace a start membrane for our LG microwave oven. It was assigned to LG service center, K.R road, near Brigade MM, Banashankri, Banaglore, Karnataka, India. A representative by name Chandrakanth said he will do it before Feb 2014. But when I call him or his colleagues, they don't pick up the call. I visited many times the service center, but these people escape from the place every time. Also, a person by name Pavan has collected our LG oven invoice and he is refusing to return the bill even after requesting many times. It is very very very ... frustrating and I have not seen such hopeless treatment by any other vendor till date. Why you market the products in India when you can't handle customer requests and provide maintenance I hope someone from customer rep team will get back to me. My conatct number is [protected]

            l purchased a lcd 32ld650 and since then the lcd is giving problem of switching on off automatically now presently it is not getting on power comes and goes off in panel. lg has taken repair several times, lcd worked also for month or two but gain same prblem. now the lcd is out of warranty and lg is not taking care of their product since it was having problem in starting itself. pl guide me or take up case with lg since no of time i have complaint to lg regarding this .

              I filed a complaint that my LG refrigerator is not working on March 31, 2014..but still i didn't get the problem resolved...means none has attended to it...i do get calls asking for address but then they switch off their phones when we call back to ask when they will com...I have never come across such an irresponsible customer service. Shame on u people and i regret buying things from LG...

                This is to inform that i am really hurt that a brand like LG treats it's customers so shabbily. I am Col Arun Yadav and i had made payment of Rs 20, 453 on 14 mar 2014 vide CSD Chennai Area Depot, Chennai Cantt, official receipt no 163514 .Till date the dealer JAIHIND ASSOCIATE has not supplied the Television, nor do they bother to inform the customer. i have contacted them 4 times and every time they say will be able to supply by next week. Today again when i contacted they have given a reply they will be able to provide it by 12 march 2014, that would be almost one month since the payment had been done, i am surprised that in today's time LG is not able to deliver a small thing like a 32 inch LED.
                It is quite disturbing and is leading to harassment.
                The Management needs to take note of this and take remedial action at the earliest.

                  We had purchased a LG LCD on 16/03/2009 Chasis no. 812LF005674 for Rs 34658.from VIJAY SALES Borivali. Lately for last 1 month we were facing a problem with the TV it would switch off on its own or suddenly the volume would be very loud. We had not expected the problem to be major as it was happening rarely. Later when it started occurring more frequently I called the customer care and lodged a complaint for the engineer to visit. He later informed the Motherboard had to be replaced with the cost for which we agreed. next day he came and changed the motherboard but still the problem was not resolved, so he again replaced the old motherboard and said will let us know later if it can be repaired. Today i got a call from the [protected] stating that the part is not available and the TV can not be repaired.and it wont be considered for revaluation as it is over 5 yrs. I later spoke to the Area Service Manager Mr. Vaibhav Vartak who also told the same reason and was also very least interested in answering my query he just had 1 reply for all my queries " the TV is more than 5 yrs and he cant do anything. " Now my concern is if the company has stopped making the Model why is the customer made to suffer. I anyways have to purchase a new TV but the company is not even thinking to consider any revaluation. Its as though my existing Rs. 34658 worth LCD is equal to any "bangar" at home with no value at all. The amount may be very small for a company like LG but for us it does make a difference. Why should I as a customer bear the additional cost of purchasing a new TV without the company even thinking to consider of any revaluation. While purchasing the product we had chosen LG because of the Brand name, reliability and durability. Now we feel cheated and helpless. From a brand like LG the LCD works only for 5 yrs, Had I known this earlier I would have brought cheaper set so that I wouldn't feel the pain after 5 yrs.

                      Hi, I had purchased a LG frost free refrigerator around 4 years back and from last one year I am facing the problem of frost deposition inside the freezer compartment of my refrigerator. I have registered a series of complaints with LG Customer Care for this and everytime their service personnel visits me he tells me different reasons for deposition of frost. Here I am quoting the different reasons as quoted by service personnel: Incident 1: The service personnel told me that you are not closing the gate of your freezer properly hence the frost is being deposited. My solution: I started closing the gate properly and also keeps a watch on it and close the gate properly everytime. But still same deposition of frost. Incident 2: The service personnel told me that you are keeping temperature very low, hence frost is being deposited. My Solution: I set the temperature as prescribed by him, but still the frost deposition is same as previous. Incident 3: The service personnel told me that you some sensors of your refrigerator are not working properly, you need to replace them. My Solution: I told him that please go ahead and replace the sensors. He replaced the sensors and handed over the bill to me. But still nothing could help as frost deposition is still the same. Incident 4: The service personnel told me that the gasket of your freezer door is not in good condition and you must replace it. My Solution: I told him that go ahead and replace the gasket of my freezer door, but when he got new gasket I just compared it with old gasket and to my surprise they were in same condition, but as per service personnel, the older gasket had become very tight, hence door was not closing properly and hence the frost deposition. Then he replaced the gasket and charged me around Rs1300. But the still the same problem exists. Incident 5: The service personnel told me that you are keeping huge amount of stuff in your refrigerator hence the frost deposition, so he told me that either I should reduce the stuff in refrigerator. He also told me that I should stop keeping the stuff in freezer for some days so that frost deposition would end. My Solution: I immediately reduced the amount of stuff in freezer but still the same problem. So, here I would like to question LG Electronics that is it so difficult to accept their mistake whatever it may be in the refrigerator and resolve it. Even I had paid some amount two times but still they were not able to resolve the problem. And in the last incident the service personnel told me to remove everything and stop keeping stuff in my freezer to check whether frost deposition is reduced or not, so its like if I have a vehicle and there is some sound in engine, so company-man will told me to stop using the vehicle so there will be no voice. I expect LG to resolve my problem at the earliest and they should also answer to the hassles I have faced and why my problem was not resolved even after paying hefty amount in name of service and spare parts.                       Further to my complaint which was registered on 2nd April, 2014. I received a call from LG Electronics and a service man visited to have a look for my freezer issue. And as expected he also told to change the rubber gasket of freezer, when we replied him that the rubber gasket for door has been changed a month ago, then he took the pain to actually investigate the cause behind problem and noticed that gasket was not installed properly on the door of freezer and hence there was frost deposition. This helped us subsiding the frost deposition to some extent but its still not as per the expectation because there was no frost deposition in my freezer around an year or some months ago. I am still expecting a quick resolution to my problem. And the solution should be full proof and not the interim one.

                        Hi i had given the phone for service at kh road lg service center Bangalore. Complain RNA[protected], i had provided all the information about the issues i was facing. I had also informed that if the issue is not resolved i will not accept the detected piece. But the advisor told the issue is resolved after keeping the phone under observation for 2 days. The initial issue of the wi fi direct is still not resolved. When i select a file to send it doesnt give me wi fi direct option... i didn't pay so much for a defective piece of phone????... i don't care what u do and how u will resolve this but i don't want a defective piece... because of this phone i have faced lot of issues. On top of that 2 days without a phone,

                        After service i got is the same old phone with the same issue...i am not sure how many times i have expressed my dissatisfaction against LG... I need a replacement of the phone or i will take tgis further... :(I am not sure if the 3 issue is even addressed...

                          With great disappointment i would like to bring to your notice that i had lanched a complain with your customer care regarding my micro wave oven problem ( ref no: ran[protected]. The next day a service representive came and checked the problem and said will check with his manager and get back to me. They asked for the bill copy which also we have handed it over to them in person at their office. After 4 days i received a call from the manager, salem, tamil nadu. He enquired the problem and said will get back to us. But it is 3 week now. I have not received any communication from any of your representatives. We are unable to use the oven for the past 1 month. Is this the reward for buying your oven.

                            When we complained that our LG refrigerator was not working in the first week of Dec 2013, after several calls, one service engineer Saravanan came, inspected the fridge, said that someone called Raju will come and left. Raju came on 8 Dec 2013, replaced some parts and filled the gas. He said that if the fridge didn't work after this, the compressor might have to be replaced. The invoice amount came to Rs. 1305. The fridge still didn't work. We called again and complained. By March-end, Saravanan came and inspected the fridge again. He said that he didn't know what was wrong and Raju had to come. He spoke to Raju from my house and said that Raju would come on Sat 29 March. When I spoke to Raju on Sat morn, he said he would come at 4 pm. NOTHING has happened till now. When I called this morning, Raju claims that we wouldn't have waited for him as he didn't get a call from us at 4 pm on Sat!! As Raju is on leave, he gave us Samraj's number who is not picking up our calls. The food in the fridge has got spoilt on 3 occasions and there has been so much wastage. What do we do?

                              Dear sirs I wish to make a complaint of LG Tv which I purchased on 12th Feb 2014 from Dubai. I made a complaint of the same on 13th Feb 2014 and the complaint no. is RNA[protected]. The TV is still in LG service centre with no response and no information about it. I WAS GIVEN A DEFECTIVE TV AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PANEL WAS NOT WORKING AND THEY DO NOT HAVE ONE. I AM BEING HARASSED FOR NO FAULT OF MINE. IS THIS A PRODUCT SALE OR DAYLIGHT ROBBERY ? With a company of LG repute, it is very depressing and surprising. I strongly wish to report that the company does not seem to be interested in their own reputation.                                 1. I bought a LG 3D LED 42 TV Model 42LW5700 Sr. No. 107PLPM036512 on 13/9/2012 for Rs 85, 000/- and within 11/2 year on 12.3.2014 the Panel of the TV crashed and TV became non functional and useless and the TV is BLACKENED. 2. The LG Repair man told us at first that it would cost Rs 10, 000. 3. He later offered to use a trick: we buy the Service guarantee for Rs15, 000 and wait for 1 or 2 months and then claim that TV has stopped working and use the guarantee to get a new panel. 4. Then again LG service people changed their stance and said that the new panel will cost Rs 34, 000/- and the above trick will not work. They also wanted us to get a Service guarantee for Rs 15, 000 to cover future disfunctionalities. 5. What I fail to understand is: How is it that a TV manufactured by LG world’s NO 2 brand of TVs has a panel that goes “Kaput” in 2 years and less and costs consumer more than 1/3 rd the original price? 6. How is it thet LG manufactures and sells TVs at exorbitant prices and then tells customers to buy a service guarantee immediately to ensure that if the product fails to function the repairs will be done within the guatantee period free of cost i.e. only Rs 15, 000 to be paid for comprehensive cover. 7. Is then the LG product and my TV manufactured of so low quality that it will immediately stop working and only a Service guarantee will save my from being set on fire by LG by charging me exhuberant rates for non performing bodyparts? 8. Is this the South Korean LG strategy to loot Indian consumers and how is it that VIDEOCON and SAMSUNG TVs bought by my friends even before 2012 are working fault free and that is no pressure to sign and pay for a service guarantee?” 5. Is it part of the strategy of LG to double sales by 2015 as observed by Mr. Yasho Verdhan Verma, COO, India Operations, LG Inc, who said in an interview: (WWW.Livemint.com ) 28 MARCH 2014 IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE WALL STREET JOURNAL ”The Indian unit of South Korea’s LG Electronics expects to double its revenue to $9 billion by 2015 as rising incomes and growing urban households expand the consumer durables market in Asia’s third largest economy. “Last year this industry grew by about 12 to 13%, this year we are expecting it will grow by about 14% and next year around that figure.” Does the strategy involve manufacture of substandard products and then multiplying the income by selling service policies to protect from defects.Is this what has come out from LG Twin Towers in Korea? Well let me remind you of the consumer protection law in India which states that substandard and defective products should not only ne NOT manufactured but also be fully reimbursed by manufacturers to protect the consumer.Let me also draw your attention to a Court case C.C.No.641of2007 BETWEEN: Chereddy.Janardhana.Rao.and LG Electronics in which the Court ruled against LG and directed replacement of the product plus damages. There are numerous such instances when LG has to bear the blunt of Indian Consumer Protection Laws. To make a long story short> A. I want immediate replacement of the damaged part(Panel) which has made my TV useless- with the cost being borne by LG India. B. I also want suitable compensation for the trials and tribulationspain and suffering I have gone through to set right my investment in an LG product and that investment is of no mean amount at almost Rs 100, 000 and also the pain, suffering of listening to all the LG about service guarantee and hogwash to make more money- all going on and on for the past 15 days. C. If the above is not done within 48 hours of the receipt of this Mail, My lawyer will not only proceed to file a suit against LG Managers described above in The Consumer court including the MD in Seoul, Korea but also lodge an FIR for criminal conspiracy to cheat at the Dhantoli police station, Nagpur. Should the police refuse to file an FIR I shall be constrained to approach the High Court of judicatureof Bombay( Nagpur Bench) with a criminal writ for a direction. I am sure the Court and the Police will be pleasd to note the many brushed with the law that LG has had all over the world in its attempt to seek to make more money by hook or crook some of which are listed below in the foot note and which I intend to highlight most suitably before the authorities). Hence I await your response for an amicable settlement of this issue. On December 5, 2012, the antitrust regulators of European Union fined LG Electronics and several other major companies for fixing prices of TV cathode-ray tubes in two cartels lasting nearly a decade ("Philips, LG Electronics, 4 others fined 1.47 billion Euros for EU cartel". The Economic Times. 5 DEC, 2012. ) 2. The company was penalised for failing to meet its commitment to make products free of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic and brominated flame retardants (BFRs) by the end of 2010. 3. LG is listed in Greenpeace’s Guide to Greener Electronics where it ranked 13th (jointly with Toshiba) out of 15 leading electronics makers in November 2011, scoring 2.8 out of 10.Here the company scored badly on the Energy criteria, being criticized for setting a weak target for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and not making renewable energy part of its low carbon strategy. 4. "Guide to Greener Electronics - Greenpeace International". Greenpeace International. warned that LG risks incurring a penalty point in future editions as it was still being listed as a client of Asia Pulp and Paper (APP) who have been linked to illegal logging and deforestation in Indonesia 5. Choice magazine, in independent tests of popular LG fridge models in 2010, found the energy consumption in two models was higher than claimed by LG. LG was aware of the problem and had offered compensation to affected customers. 6. In November 2013, it was discovered that some of LG's smart TVs silently collect filenames from attached USB storage devices and attempt to send them back to LG's own servers, although as of this writing the web application does not exist and the purpose of this is unknown. The same television was also found to send program viewing data to another LG-affiliated server which is in operation. Shortly after this blog entry went live, LG disabled playback on its site of the video explaining how their viewer analytics work and closed the Brightcove account the video was hosted on(DoctorBeet's Blog: LG Smart TVs logging USB filenames and viewing info to LG servers. LG had offered compensation to affected customers 8. In 2006, LG overstated energy efficiency on five of its air conditioner models and was again required to offer consumers rebates to cover the extra energy cost. LG Electronics’ environmentally friendly North American headquarters in borough of Englewood Cliffs in Bergen County, New Jersey, having received a favorable legal decision subsequently being appealed based upon building height issues.

                                  for the past two weeks a red line has been appearing vertically across the led tv( specifications--26LV3000, Lg Led Tv) brought from Biswajit Furniture, Prop--Ashok Kumar Sinha, South Birnagar, Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur, on 1st Jan, 2013. Kindly send your mechanic soon to solve the problem within this week.

                                    Dear Sir, I have purchased a LG LED in the month of Nov. 2013 under the ongoing Deepawali schemes from Reliance store at Sector 10 Dwarka, New Delhi. After few days I raised a complaint regarding the performance of TV to your customer care. The executive visited my place has offered me a cable to connect with home thearator (Got under sale scheme of TV). After few days I have again made a complaint to your customer care regarding installation of wall mount supplied by LG. The executive visited my place has did the wall mounting work and informed me that the cable supplied by your executive is faulty. I again complaint to your customer care, but I have not got any solution till date. Almost every day I am getting a call from your executives regarding my complaint but no one is giving me any solution. I have written a on line complaint in this regard on 24th March, 2014 but still not received any reply from their end. You are kindly requested to do the needful to replace the faulty cable ASAP.                                     No rating because it would be zero. No actually, negative to infinity. I was charging my LG G3 in my vehicle when I began smelling something burning, hot. I blamed it on the semi trucks I was following until I picked up my phone and it burned my hand! It was the cell phone burning up!!! I quickly unplugged it from the vehicle and good thing I did as the back cover was melting! Long story short: LG offered NOTHING. All I got was multiple sorries. No compassion, no nothing. Had I not pulled that plug I could have been killed by a blown up vehicle. LG doesn't care. The only compensation I asked for was free phone replacement. Answer was no. Said LG fixes phones not replace them. I understand policy, which is what they were quoting, but I could have been killed!!! Didn't care. No exceptions. UGH!!!

                                      to whomsoever it may concern. We live in mumbai and We have got a split AC of LG. recently we observed some problem in the functions of cooling in our AC so we registered a complain on the toll free number of LG from where our complaint was passed to the local agency which handles this service work. A technician visited our place and said there was a gas leakage so some another technician needed to come who wil come the very next day. He took the service charges plus taxes from us. Now it's three days since that day no technician showed up again and on calling up that local agency the staff talked to very rudely with us. To the extent that they said the technician came your house was locked. Liers we have ensured to be at home since last two days and waiting for that guy. Inspire of repeated requests that it's summer so please make the request progress fast they are least cared. It's shameful for a reputed company to work so carelessly after taking service money from the customers. At least give the technical work to responsible local agencies.

                                      Hi

                                      Complaint number is RNA[protected]. Today after posting the above complaint we had one technician visiting our home as damage control exercise by company, but he refused to arrange for needed rope or ladder and went away without any conclusion. So we also have decided that we are not going to get this repaired by your appointed agency as their level of service quality and staff is so pathetic. We have asked for Rs 300 back out of Rs 450 already paid after deducting visiting charges of Rs 150. But we doubt if this will be paid by cheats that your service agency people are. This incidence has now led us to decide FOREVER to shun LG products henceforth. We are using this split AC and also refrigerator of LG. Luckily both are nearing it's useful life and therefore we have decided to go for other company's products where after-sales service is given as much importance as pre-sale stage. Just for your information, we also got our other AC serviced. Thankfully it was not an LG product and so the servicing went quite smoothly and it's functioning is quite proper.
