Dear sir,
i m using Lg mobile LG510 with s/n 108IPAT0047408 .
The mobile is having continuous problem with this model.
also this model are rare in use & whoever have this model are having problem.
the mobile hangs up in the middle itself, sometimes the touch screen does not operate, etc...U may be aware of the same.
kindly suggest better option as we have repaired the mobile 4 times in last 10 months.
The mobile is expensive one & does not have customer to buy back it as nobody wants this model of LG.

    We live in Mira Road Thane Dist, Maharashtra.
    In January 2013 we had registered a complaint with LG customer care here twice.
    It was regarding repair of our LG Microwave bought in 2009/ Model no: MC8083
    1st complaint no:[protected]
    2nd Complaint no:[protected]

    After the 1st visit we were told a part worth Rs.1,200 had to be replaced and the technician did come and replace it and we paid him Rs.1,200+ Rs. 281 (service charge)
    But even after that the microwave was not working.
    then after the 2nd complaint another person was sent and he said the front panel had a problem and that had to be changed.

    After a day the technician called to say, that the panel was not available as LG no longer makes this model.

    Now we end up loosing Rs. 1481 but our problem still not sorted out. Our MW was purchased just 3 and 1/2 years back. Now what do we do?

      FRAUD and CHEATING by LG India and it's MEHSANA service centre.
      My fridge was out of order since 20 Nov. 2012
      The problem is the upper portion i.e. ice making portion is working but the lower portion become hot
      I have call LG service for paid repairing on[protected] they promise me for in 24 hour engineer’s call and 48 hours engineer’s visit to my place but the engineer report me on
      [protected] i.e. on 5th day of the complaint.
      The engineer report me that two sparse are out of order
      1. Bimetal 2. Timer
      I have granted his report and told him to change the parts.
      But he told that he hasn’t the sparse.
      On[protected] he comes with the sparse.
      After repairing he ask for Rs.1210/- but refuse to give receipt for the same.
      When I insist hard for the receipt, after two days they produce the same.
      Meanwhile my fridge was in same position as before repairing.
      When I draw attention of the LG engineer he instruct me that it will take some day to set the problem.
      But even after a week the problem sustain.
      So I have call again to LG service they promise me again the same that in 24 hour call of engineer and 48 hour visit of Eng. To my place.
      But LG doesn’t respond for two months
      After two months on[protected] LG Eng. Come to my place and again replace the same part called bimetal.
      But even after that the problem remains the same.
      I have made so many call for that to [protected] the LG service call centre ,I have e mail also to
      [protected]@lge.com but the LG doesn’t respond.

        We purchased a LG microwave ( Model number LG M/W 8091 ) on 14.08,2012 from lg circuit mall, sector 8, Chandigarh (Invoice number 34190 , and when the engineer came for installation it was not
        working properly and he made some changes and even changed bulb of this said product. After that after every 2 months a major part of the appliance stopped working and had been replaced but when
        it was replaced for the 4th time I requested the company to be kind enough to replace this product as after warranty period we will not be able to bear the loss of INR 2000/- Every 2nd or 3rd month as
        that part costed almost this much( including labor charges) and after 3 days another part of the product got damaged and it had stopped working and then again I requested the same but no responsible
        answer from the company. Instead of helping us the company officials are trying to harass us in one way or the other and now the branch manager, Karnal is bothered about the earthing in our house
        where we are using other lot of appliances. We want replacement of our product and the company should also bear the cost of mental agony and harassment being given by the officials of Karnal office.
        The product is lying dead since 30.07.2012. I want them to replace the product at the earliest.
        Reason for Complaint
        Defect in the product during warranty / maintenance contract
        period; Product caused inconveniences; As the product was
        even faulty at the time of installation and inspite of a same part
        being repaired and replaced 4 or 5 times during warranty period
        and how one can afford repair of the product at the very regular
        intervels.
        Why is this Complaint Being Filed?

        L.G. microwave — faulty product delivered

        i bought a microvave from a dealer of L.G. and within a month it started malfunctioning and some smoke came out of it with sparks i was scared and called there help line no they took my complaint and which was on date 13th of may and till today no one addressed me sir i am reminding them every alternate day but still no budy from L.G. responded sir am seriously harrased by L.G.

          I brought one double door fridge on 28-aug 2012.Butiam disappointed with this lg product.Within this time 3 times iam facing the same problem of no cooling.
          Respected Consumer Complaint Forums,

          I have purchased a LG 1 Ton Split AC on 05.03.2010,Model No:LSA 3NF5VF1 Serial No.0548/0312 from Sales Emporium (South) 226,Diamond Harbour Road,Kolkata-700060 with Ph No-[protected]/[protected].After 3 months,when the 1st Service came to our house from LG Care Service Centre,they broke the horizontal swing of which I was not aware o[censored]ntil a few days when I lodged a complain to service my AC once again.When the 2nd Service Came to our home the LG Service Engineer decreased the performance of our AC by unscrewing the knobs of the Outdoor Unit which led to escaping of cooling gas, and now even if the AC is set at 18C the AC doesnt cool the room beyond 26C even when it is set at Jet Cool or 18C.The AC doesnot cool and sounds abnormally.I have lodged complains to LG Service Centre rerpeatedly bt no service made my AC work perfectly.
          Now I have lost the faith in LG Service and I m complaining to you since you are the highest form of giving justice to consumers who are exploited.
          I would be highly obliged if you can replace my LG AC with a similar or same AC.I hope you would soon receive my complaint and take action against it.

            This is pertaining to a lg washing machine that I have. It developed some fault and I informed the call center. The complaint number being: RNA [protected]. This was during the last week of December, 2012. An engineer from the team visited and left saying that he'd come back the next day with a part replacement required in the machine. He never came back or called! I again contacted the call center. They promised that this will get resolved. In a couple of days another engineer came with a wrong part. He left saying that he'd come with the right part. Even he didn't come back. It's been over a month of cleaning our clothes and waiting for someone from LG to attend to our call. As a consumer I'm feeling cheated and taken for a ride. Also, every time the call center gives us some phone numbers which no one answers. Please guide and help me. If I need to throw away this machine and buy a new one... So be it, but at least such companies should be stopped from doing business if they treat their own customers with such irresponsibility.

            LG Electronics / Washing Machine — Noise in the drum

            We had purchsedF8068 NDP on[protected] from Jayam & Co Chennai .It was unused from then as the engineer who came to give the demo found Noise in the drum and we were assured a replacement and since then it has been a long wait and still the machine is not replaced. It has been about a month now and the household is suffering and has given us a feeling that this is not a successful model and we want to buy a better model so requested LG to take this machine back and either give us a better model or refund us the money.

            Now we are no more interested in replacement also because this model is out of stock since then.

            We want our money back because we have lost our patience with LG and also lost faith in the brand (when you buy an LG then "Life will never ever be good". We are not happy with the current model and would definitely like for LG to take back the machine and instruct the dealer to refund our money and if the company wants to give a replacement let the company give it to the dealer.

            We are no more interested in any LG product. And think the company has made money only by cheating consumers and pocketing their money by selling them sub-standard products.

            Request you to help by notifying LG of this complaint. We have already made to LG Customer service which by the way sucks big time.

              My LG fridge was sent for gas filling maintenance and taken by the LG electronics India Pvt.Ltd., direct service center, old No.14, New No.9A, Kasturibai Street, Sathiyamangalam Road, Ramakrishna Puram, Opp. Ramakrishna Mills Bus Stand, Ganapathy, Coimbatore 641006 (No telephone number is given) Coimbatore on 11/12/2012 and delivered 0n 22/12/2012 (delivery chalan No.0429 /Dated 22/12/2012) which was delivered beyond the due date and caused as humiliation to me and my stress level is highked due to the reasons.
              I am using the fridge for keeping stocks of regular and life saving medicines for me as I am a surgical patient for heart ailment and suffering besides with number of other old age ailments.
              Necessary Service charge and transport charges have been collected in cash and I was told that the official receipt will be sent by Currier from the office within 7 days. It is more than a month and we have not received the official receipt for the amount Rs.1343/- Rupees one thousand three hundred and forty three only) and till date as on 27th of January, 2013 the cash bill has not been sent to us by the said company and the caused delay humiliates me in making my claims with the insurance company and the acute stress caused me a health crisis also.
              There was no proper answer at the side of the Direct service centre at Coimbatore and I want a legal action for not sending the cash receipt on time treating the case as cheating with criminal intimidation on me and paying a compensation for the cause of delay, negligent behavior and irresponsible acts and attitude of a senior citizen and an ailing person.
              I want an immediate action for getting the Cash bill for the amount paid and a heavy compensation for the stress and humiliations caused on account of their negligence and attitude towards me .

                LG is a bad name to the Koreans. It's Customer Service ethics, failures in complying to environmental protection norms and consistently was penalized for doing that.

                Cutting it short, in the Indian paraphernalia and with a good technical knowledge, here's what to go for.

                AC - Buy a Voltas. Best - Hitachi.
                TV - Buy a Samsung. Best - Sony.
                Refrigerator - Whirlpool. No other choice is required here.
                Microwave - IFB, IFB, IFB - Nothing else
                Washing Machine - Fully Automatic - Panasonic/ Semi Automatic - Whirlpool. Best - Fully Automatic - IFB, you don't need a best Semi anyways.

                  This is with regards to the complaint no. RNA[protected] that i logged on Tuesday 8th Jan 2013.
                  I have a brand new LG Smart LED TV 5700 series which was bought around 3 months ago but as i was out of station is only used from last 1-1.5 months. I have a very less usage around 2 - 3 hours daily maybe. On Tuesday the TV started Switching on and Off automatically. I logged the complaint and LG Engineer Anil visited my place. After checking he finally found out that the complete motherboard is faulty and has to be replaced .


                  I am not willing to get the TV serviced as it is a new TV and has started showing big problems within first 2 months o[censored]sage. I would like to have a replacement of this TV set with a new one. I have been a loyal customer to LG from a long time which includes several products that i am currently using of LG like AC, Washing Machine Refrigerator , another TV , Home theater and Blue ray player. All of them are LG and i have never faced any issue with them and that is the reason that i am sure that this TV Set itself is faulty and might again show up issues after sometime.

                  I have tried contacting the branch i was referred too with email [protected]@lgindia.com but they have been ignoring all my communication from last 15 days.

                  Please let me know if i made a mistake in trusting LG based on my previous experience. This issue is becoming an eye opener for me.

                      There is no support from the service team for a newly bought product. They are not picking the call. The issue is open for a long time and no update from the repair team but they are just saying that they have sent mail for approval, this is frustrating and making the customer mad.

                      This was a new model purchased year back and product got faulty so soon.

                      LG is making life bad

                      Below are the complaint details, mails were sent after the service team visit several times but no response.

                      '''''''''''''&#... is regarding the LG plasma TV issue, I bought this LG 42PT35OR at Girias (Anna Nagar East,Near Chintamani Junction) on AUG 2011.

                      Recently the TV display was affected and unable to see any picture, a complaint was locked 2 weeks back. The service man told that the display board got short and became faulty naturally and not because of any environmental conditions or power fluctuations.

                      For more than 2 weeks the issue is still open and my problem is not solved, this is a new model and bought recently but so soon a major fault has occurred in the main board. Please treat this call on propriety and rectify my issue on free of cost, I am ready to pay fee for servicing but not for the components, you need to provide replacement for the faulty components on free of charge because the TV was bought a year back and it is a newly launched model.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,
                        I am an aggrieved customer of your LG product. I purchased an LG LED TVset, 107 cm (Model No:42LS4600 – TA, product code: 42LS4600 – TA.ATRWLJ2, Serial No:208PLJK095708) on 16/09/2012 from Croma Electronics Mega Store, Unit No: F-25, Oberoi Moll, Goregaon Mumbai. I have one year warrenty plus two years extended warranty for the product.
                        Shortly after I purchased the above TV set it started giving trouble. The problem was that TV set started having sudden black out, whenever it was run for a little while. A complaint was lodged by me for repairing the TV, vide complaint No: RNA –[protected]. A TV repair team was sent by your service centre on 08/11/2012. They changed two parts of the TV and went away. But despite this change of parts the problem continued.
                        A second complaint was lodged by me vide complaint No: RNA [protected] on 23/11/2012. The call centre which took my call, thereafter informed me that a replacement request was being sent by them as LG Company was unable to repair the TV Set.
                        A mail was thereafter sent by me to Mr Satish, and Mr Prashant Patil, the Branch Manager of your Service Centre on 28/11/2012, along with scanned copy of my pan card, product invoice and picture label, as asked for by them. Nothing happened thereafter.
                        When I contacted the call centre after two weeks I was informed that Mr Satish and Mr Prashant Patil had given the feedback that “Customer is not interested in replacement”, which is totally a false statement, as at no stage did I say that I did not want a replacement. I informed the call centre that this was a false feedback.
                        On 15/01/2013 I received a call from Mr Sudhir, a service centre employee, Mobile No: [protected], (he did not give his full name despite my asking). He made a false claim that he had rung me up many times earlier during the day and that I did not respond to his call and further asked me to furnish a photocopy of the LG TV Purchase bill. I told him that his claim was not true and that if he still wanted to standby his claim he should give a proof of this by showing me the missed calls made to me in his cell phone. I also informed him that I will keep the photo copy of the purchase bill ready and he could let me know when he would be coming to collect them as also show me the above stated proof of making many calls to me. When he heard this he disconnected the call. When I tried to speak to him again he again disconnected the call.
                        I then tried a number of times to call Mr Prashant Patil the branch manager LG Service Centre ( mobile No: [protected]) but found each time that he was not responding to my call.
                        The above details clearly show that your Service Centre staff members are attempting to cheat me by not replacing the defective TV set sold to me. They are giving false feedback and then in order to prove their false feedback was correct they are making a false claim that they called me up many times but I did not respond to their call.
                        Please be assured that such tricks will not work with me. Please ask your Service Centre staff to arrange immediate replacement of the defective set sold to me by your company. If no action is taken within the next 7 days then I shall be constrained to lodge a complaint against your company in the consumer court, where I will not only ask for the replacement of the defective TV set but also claim compensation for the breach of trust and harassment caused to me by your Service Centre staff.

                          Hi!

                          I Bought Microve of LG on[protected] (Model Code MW03281bpg Item Description LG MWO MJ3281BPG).
                          I have registered the call at the call center on 20th My complaint no. is RNA[protected]

                          After many reminders on call and mail, till date I have not got the Demo arranged by the company.

                          If for Demo I have to do so many follow ups not sure what will happen when there is some problem reported with Microwave.

                          If someone can get this arranged will be of great help.

                            I am facing this problem with LG handset E612 which i purchased about 5 month ago. I am speaking with LG customer service team from a long time. After several visits they are telling me that the handset you have purchase is not a good handset. The Manager(Mr Vishal Sharma) himself admit that the processing speed of this handset is not that good. We already have tried what what we could but we cant help you any more that person is so adamant that he didn't allowed me to speak and directly informed me that do what you can do. you want to go to the next level you can but we cant do any thing for you.

                            I feel like a fool that i am dealing with such a company who doesn't even care about there customer and make them realize that they have done a big mistake buying there product.

                            I spend 45000 buying 2 LG phones know i am getting this customer service from them. Really a shame on such a big name.

                                I had purchased a microwave oven Model 2149n BB from your showroom-LG Shoppee at Meerut against a quotation issued jointly in my name and my employer's name jointly as" N.K.MITTAL, AGM, PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK" whereas the Bill was issued by your repv. Mr. V.K.Sharma, in my name-against the Cheque issued from Bank's account at PNB. When he was pointed out his mistake-he tried to tell me "Generally it is not so"-when I told him to follow instructions strictly, he misbehaved with me and told me "not to get hyper" My driver was sent to delivedr the cheque and get the bill issued alongwith the product. I strongly object to the usage of the words by your salesman. Does one expect this type of behaviour from your salesman. I could not find any icon on which I should send my complaint against your salesman/sales representative at Mewerut.                                   We have taken AMC for LG airconditioner last year, valid from 11/09/07-10/09/08.AMC No 500748.
                                  Inspite of repeated request to repair the AC, NO one has attended the complaint.

                                  LG Electronics — Non replacement in warranty period

                                  Window ac falling within 3 years, complaint lodged on 12 April 2012, first visit after 4 days after which I was told the compressor has to be changed.
                                  The mechanic came to pick the ac on 22 April after a gap of 10 days.
                                  The AC was returned in the same condition after about a further week, and after complaint was picked up again after about 3-4 days.
                                  I have called more than 10 times to check up the status, I have not recieved any call from any personnel of LG.
                                  I understand that products can sometimes malfunction, but the absolute lack of service and customer support of LG over the last one month reflects the attitude of the company, irrespective of the products they offer.

                                    I purchased a new LG LCD TV model 32CS560 for Rs 30,000 at the LG Shoppe in Pondicherry on 1 October 2012. On 31 December 2012, less than 3 months after it was purchased, the TV died.

                                    I registered a complaint with LG's Customer Support service on 1 January 2013.

                                    On 3 January, a technician from LG came and diagnosed the problem: a circuit board had failed inside the TV.

                                    Two weeks later, the TV still has not been repaired or replaced.

                                    Now I've discovered that LG's Customer Support service is really just a Customer Sympathy and Excuse service. When I call them, they apologize for my dead TV and then tell me that the replacement part is not in stock and they have absolutely no idea when the part will become available.

                                      I’ve bought LG smart cinema 3d tv on august 16 2012. it was working good but one day suddenly the display went off. The LG engr visited (on 15.12.2012) and inspected the TV. He found that the display is not working and told that the display needs to be changed. He had put up the request but there has been no progress since last 25 days. I've put various reminders with the call center but in vain. I've also sent various emails with my product details but have not received any satisfactory answer. The details provided in email to LG are as follows

If not, then have you contacted your dealer? Though they don’t have to do anything but still many times it happens these dealers have a direct relation with company customer care centers or they may provide you some relevant contact person details.

                                        I had bought an LG LE4610 LED TV in April 2011. I had some issue, where I was able to see some horizontal lines on the screen.I called up the customer care and raised a service request(RNA[protected] and Mr. Naveen ([protected]) from LG support turned up on 25-Jul-2012.The person then opened up the TV and tried adjusting the Display stips inside the TV. Once he did this , Display was seen only on the left side of the screen. There were bright lines coming up on the right side. When I had asked them to set it right, he said he will bring in an expert and brought Mr.Mayilraj ([protected]). He checks the TV and tells me the panel is gone and the stips are also gone.Mr. Mayilraj says that the Circuit inside the TV is gone and may be that also has to be changed.Inspite of repeated followups, the technicians were not ready to check the Television and asked me to change the panel. I was forced to take an AMC for 2 years by paying Rs.11000 and was asked to wait for the AMC to get activated to replace the panel.

                                        Once the AMC has been activated a new request was again raised (RNA[protected]to fix the panel. They informed me that a new panel has been ordered and once it has come, they will come and change the panel. The LG technicians came up with a panel after a couple of weeks and tried installing the same. when I checked the Panel, the panel was already used with lots of scratch all around. I refused to accept the panel and the technicians informed that they will get a new panel for replacement. Again after a couple of weeks the technicians took my TV to LG service center for replacing the panel and then delivered the TV on 3-Jan-2013. I was busy over the weekend and checked the TV on monday[protected] and found that the replaced panel is defective and have again raised a new request for fixing it (RNA[protected]. Inspite of repeated followups, no technician has still visited my house to check the Television.

                                        I have been struggling from Jul 2012 to Jan 2013 to get my panel replaced. For a company like LG, does it take 7 months to replace a panel? They have cheated me twice with used/damaged panel. I am looking for an effective resolution and if the issue is not resolved soon, I am planning to book a case in consumer court against LG and its service center for Deficiency in services, cheating and mental agony.

                                        LG — Deficiency in service

                                        I had registered a complaint of my faulty Monitor on 30/ July, 09. Complaint RefWC[protected].
                                        the service engineer attended to it the very next day but said that the power supply unit needs to be replaced and he shall be back with rethe replacement. Its almost three weeks now and there is still no sign of the replacement promised. Several calls to the call center and their service representatives M/s Hybrid have yielded no results. As as self employed professional most my business is conducted on my computer . And being unable to use the same as affected by business as well as reputation as I have not been able to deliver assignments on time. This has lead to severe monetary losses. I have no option but to seek legal recourse.

                                        Subject;Unexpected Disregard to customer's problems, respect and non-professional attitude by PEL and LG companies

                                        I am a senior doctor and medical teacher with a fair amount of service in globally recognized institutions in pakistan and abroad. I have got split air conditioners (A/C) of LG company installed in my home. For remedial measures of some technical problems of A/Cs, I was directed by the LG company to contact PEL company due to some agreement of cooperation (merger ?) between the two companies. I was’ optimistically’ delighted to have full cooperation and ‘customer care’( with respect) from two big companies of international fame.
                                        .
                                        The summary of sequence of events, mentioned below, would clearly indicate noon-cooperation, non-professional attitude, total disregard to customers problems based upon excuses, disinformation and negligence; I contacted PEL (PAK ELEKTRON LIMITED; G.P.O Box 1614;Lahore – Pakistan; Tel[protected]; Fax;[protected], 5810156;Dir CSD Tel/ Fax:5822 853) for my problem in last summer ie September 9, 2009.Mr.shoaib, representative of the company(cell-[protected]), checked A/C, charged Rs. 400 and issued a receipt (no;042583 ; date; September 9, 2009; WORK ORDER Ref. 04107) and promised to replace ‘Blowing motor plus kit’ and’ Moving motor’within few days.

                                        After sometime PEL staff started blaming LG for non-cooperation in terms of supply of items/gadgets etc. It is a long story of 'broken promises', false statements/excuses etc. which has created tremendous amount of mental and physical torture, inconvenience, disturbance etc to me and my family. I have spent a lot of time and money in making innumerable 'request' phone calls but all in vain. For instance;[protected], ext;3228/[protected] mr.nazim saeed-incharge/ mr.Anwar/ mr.shabir Haider).I requested mr.Imran(manager-[protected]) who seemed little concerned on phone.After about two weeks persuation, mr. shoaib visited my house and has taken the moters and kit away with him, probably for repair (not replacement).Once again, there is no response .

                                        In this harsh summer of scorching heat, two of my A/Cs are non-functional leading to terrible disturbance of my family and it is only because of ruthless attitude, carelessness of local staff members of PEL and probably LG..
                                        .Keeping in view the good-will of both the companies, I do not intend to bring this whole issue before media, court of law etc. Please show positive concern Prompt, positive response is expected and requested to avoid 'unpleasant' situation in future.
