We bought an LG 350 Litre refrigerator on 13/11/2011 from LG Shoppe (Shri Mangla Electronics) Janakpuri. For the past one month we have been registering our complaint at their call centre. But, such an appalling state of affairs at LG customer service that every time we lodge a complaint, LG people tell that our address in their records is one of Paschim Vihar, and they have already spoken to one Ms Promila, and have hence closed the complaint. Our Janakpuri address is very clearly written on the bill. There is no one by the name of Promila in our family or firends that I know of.

Everytime we request them to change the address and register a new complaint, the same above story repeats. We have already logged-in our complaint number of times in the past one month.

As if that was not enough, the following incident sums up the culture and value systems which exist at LG service centres. After getting frustrated on number of occasions, I once remarked to the LG service centre person that "Did I commit any mistake by choosing LG?" There came the reply from the LG personnel, "Do not commit that mistake again?"

Is anyone listening at LG Electronics?
Does anyone care about the culture and value systems that such large organization should be ashamed of?
Will my complaint be addressed, and systems improved for all customers, not only me, for the benefit of LG only?

    From July 2011 I used a LG-Washing Machine but they getting only one free service last year(2011).Why they not get any free service next without calling. I am highly obliged to this company but 100% upset to there free service.Please see the mater.

      Dear sir/madam,I had purchased a Lg refrigerator 250l 254 am5,imei no is r146316 on 4/7/2011 .but after the use of 2 months it has lost the coolong.I complaint again and again but there was not any response from Lg service centre.I had purchased new fridge during these days. And after one month of complaint my fridge was repaired.I left my repaired fridge as it is in my house without using.
      Now the problem begins when I I'm going to use this fridge after 1 year.it has the same problem .I have given complain on 25/10/2012 with complaint no rna[protected] .they spend 6 days n there is no any response.so please kindly help me in this matter.
      I purchased a LG fully automatic Washing machine, top loading, on 31-March. They asked for 24hours for the demo, After 4days, when nobody came for demo, I called the customer central, the guy told me the engineer will call me in 30mins and tell you when he will come, but nobody called me. After an hour when i called and asked for a supervisor, the suporvisor told me to wait and he will call me in 2hours. When nobody called me in 2 hours, i called back and asked the supervisor to come on call right away, Shirish came on call and asked me to call the Area Manager "Prashant Shah", as he was not knowing how to arrange for an engineer which is shameful. When i called Prashant, he was so rude and unproffessional. He blundly told me that as today is sunday, nobody can come to your place for the demo. If you can wait till Monday then well and good or else do watever you want, which is shamefull for such a big company like LG. Till today nobody came for the demo. WHICH IS PATHETIC AND I WANT TO GIVE THE MACHINE BACK.

      I have given my LG Air Conditioner for repair to authorized LG service center, they have taken the product to service center to get repaired by 3 days.. its already 10 days completed but they are not responding properly and making much more delay,
      in october 2011 my lg air-conditioner was given for service in sakchi, lg service center. its more than 4 MONTHS still the service center doesn't respond to the calls or messages properly. they have not repaired the appliance till now, and are not delivering it back.
      this kind of service is unacceptable, and only creates a bad image among your customers.

      I'm a regular user of LG home appliances for many years, I'm facing a display problem with my LCD Tv regarding the same i have complained to the customer care on first week of February 2012 (Complaint ID), one of LG Engineer visited my residence and informed that the panel needs to be replaced. After that, no one visited my residence for the change of the spare part, it's been almost 3 months now.

      I am taking up the matter with LG Customer Care and local service center (HIFI SOLUTION-ASC, Chennai) repeatedly. Both of them is always giving me one answer that the spare is out of stock and will reach you in two days, I am tired of hearing this repeated answer. All my efforts with the LG Customer Care Center are in vain.

      I shall be highly obliged if you could kindly look into the matter and direct your service center executive to repair immediately.

      Now, I feel sorry for buying LG Products.

      Worst service from unqualified technitions by lg. Technitions not respond well. Call center is fake. No proper care of customers.
      Hi, myself Shampa Chakravarty. I have registered a complaint on 12th July'14 regarding my LG LCD TV. However, till date no resolution.

      After I first logged my complain, the service center person visited my after 2-3 days and says some parts are damaged and it will take a weeks time to get those parts from Noida. However, as I mentioned till date no resolution. And followed my complaint multiple times only today the executive came that too the parts were still no with him.


      In this course as I tried to escalate my issue to various people but no one helped me. Customer care executive gave me a number of Sarika - [protected] but she just called me once in conference with the engineer who will help but after that nothing happened.

      After that when again I called the customer care they said my complain has been closed. However, as i mentioned earlier till date the dead box is hanging on my wall as a show piece.

      It was on

      lt today that the engineer (Mr. Rao) visited my place again with no resolution.

      Please look into this matter as the service center in Pune is spoiling LG's brand name and now
      I am scared to purchase any LG product or recommending to anyone.

      This complain also I am writing in vain that any one will do something about it.

      for ac installation i called lg customer care they said they will an engineer they said they will send an engineer within 24hrs but they didn't once again i called they said they will send an engineer asap i received a call he said that he is an engineer from lg i sent him my adress he came and made 2 to 3 holes on the wall and installed the AC its looks terrible on wall and he asked 2300rs and he didn't even give bill once again i called service centre and gave complaint about him they said they will send an new engineer to slove this problem but they didn't when i called they once again they said that u r complaint cancelled by a engineer due to following issue u r ac has been installed by third party

          Dear Concern,

          I purchased LG Optimus Black P970 on 18/02/2012 IMEI NO [protected] for 19,000/- INR and i am facing lot of hardware problems from 2 months back.
          Main Problem is charging is not working properly and power button is not working some times.


          Because i was not there in Bangalore for sometime i could not able to visit LG customer service from 2 months.
          When i visit yesterday to Direct LG Customer Service center , i had below conversation with them.
          Me: Sir i am facing these issues please check.
          Service person: Yes Sir,
          After checking the problem.

          Service person: He started telling "Some board track is gone need to replace the board it self .
          Me:OK replace the board and give me.
          Service person:Sir this problem will not cover in warranty you need to pay 9,500/- INR for this"
          Me: I asked why i need to pay , mobile is in Warranty period right.
          Service person: Warranty period is only for manufacturing defects from LG company.
          Me: Then how come it will go within 6 months.
          Service person:May be you used rashly
          Me: Sir no chance, For this mobile i paid 19000 on the spot. i was maintaining very safely even i did not take out the mobile cover also.
          Service person:No sir , while keeping mobile charging its damaged.
          Me:Next min , my question was
          1)then without keeping for charge how can i use mobile?? and
          2) If we keep for charging the whole Mobile hardware board will damage??
          Service person:Yes.
          Me: I asked if we keep for charging mobile whole mobile board will damage means then LG mobiles are not capable to use at least one year also??
          Service person: you need to ask LG company only.
          Me: I asked Then, What is the use of Warranty period of 1 year "while purchasing they will tell sir if anything happens it will cover in 1 year warranty period" like that.
          Service person: Sorry sir, You need to pay 9,500/- in order to rectify this. This problem will not cover in Warranty period.
          Me: I came out.

          Kindly help me out to solve this issue, i had invested 19,000/- INR (That is my one and half month salary) which is not even worth for 8 months.

            I had raised my issue with the LG customer Care on 11th of October (not sure about the date I called ) about my LG washing machine not working. Initially they were good and had sent a Technician on 15th of October and he was super fast in diagnosing the problem and asked me whether I had AMC the Insurance for the product. As I showed him, he said the drum of the washing machine is broken and it has to be sent to the Center for repair and it will take 10 days to get it fixed. So, I waited till last Friday the 19th and there was no response from him and from the Center. So again with my patience level in control I called the toll free number and the guy was fair enough to take down my complaint and gave the direct number of the Hyderabad Center and said the same day somebody would call me.

            Till today nobody turned up and lost control and had to call the local Center and had to explain as to how many times I had called the customer care toll free number. The kind lady, I should really appreciate here, asked me stay on hold and connected me to service Center and she being on the other end conversation goes on like this.....

            The supervisor spoke to me and asked me to begin right from the start. He checked all the particulars with my complaint number and said, the so called Technician is out to Orissa for a family reason and will send someone to pick up my washing machine.

            With my anger level building up I asked him 3 questions which were very reasonable one and he had to no answer.

            1. If that Technician had gone to Orissa should I need to wait until he comes back to work?

            2. Why is that no body else took care of the complaint and speed up the process?

            3. Why is that, when I call to check my complaint, you give me an answer, that you will send a person to pick up my machine?

            He has so smart in cutting the phone off, by saying "I'm in a meeting and will get back to u and we will send a person to pick up your washing machine."

                I have registered my complain(RNA[protected] regarding LG refrigerator on 21st Oct via customer care center. They said technician would reach after 24 hrs of lodging the complaint. After 24 hrs i again called them as i did not received any call from customer care office or technician, then again i called them they said they are putting the reminder for my request,after 32 hrs also i did not received any call and did not received any service. So again called them, lastly they gave me Pune LG customer care center number and also number of compliance officer but nobody is picking up the phone.Today it has been 4 day but i have not received any help from LG service center.

                  Dear Complaint Manager,

                  I had purchased LG Microwave Oven from your local dealer Ram Appliances, M G Road, Porbandar last year on 10.06.2011. Two days back, surprisingly the oven stopped working, reason unknown.. Immediately I called up on LG complaint centre and booked the complaint. Subsequently, LG representative (service mechanic) visited our home yesterday (23.10.2012) afternoon hours. LG mechanic put one glass of water in oven and advised us that there is problem in oven magnetrons which requires to be changed.

                  However, prior site visit I had called the mechanic over phone to find out the actual problem but he told it’s an electronic item and this type of problems are normal in such home appliances. I don’t agree with mechanics opinion I want to know the exact reason behind this mal-function. But unfortunately, he could not justify the reason to my satisfaction.

                  As per mechanic’s opinion we have to purchase (magnetrons) new parts and it carries only 30 days warranty.

                    We had a lg mobile in BIGC-ANANTAPUR within few days it started troubling by getting water bubbles sound while talking with anyone and we had send the mobile to HYDERABAD BIGC servie center and stil there is no change in the mobile.Hope that is not an original piece of LG company which the BIGC has sold-out.

                      I have purchase a TV (21") from Godrej Aadhar (Gohana), the company is Koryo.

                      After one months, i am facing problems and after so many requests / call - the engineer has came and repaired and but no engier not come.
                      sir,
                      i have buy the tv of your company.my tv is under waranty .it has some problem now .bt my calls are not responded when i call to samsung engineer so plz attend my calls...

                      TV — AKS TV not repaired

                      Dear Sir,
                      We have following complaint against A AKS 24x7 Authorized JSK, #45, 5th main, Azad Nagar, Chamrajpet Bangalore 560020

                      We booked our TV for repair from just dial service & Just dial refer us to A AKS. TV was having improper channel adjustment & unstablization of channels.
                      ( Ref. work order No TIQ 849 /869 / 870 ).
                      First Mr. Khan had come to see TV on 4/7/9 & charges of Rs. 150 was paid for visit. He budget charges of Rs. 1000 & we agreed
                      TV is pick up for repair on 25/7/9 receipt no 1595 ( TIQ 849 )
                      TV delivered on 27/7/9 ( invoice no 3249 ) TIQ870. & Amount of Rs. 1000 was total paid towards all charges.
                      After 2 days we reported same problem again but after lot of follow up it is picked up on 21/8/9 ( receipt no 18787 ) TIQ869 & delivered back on 28/8/9.
                      It worked improperly & reported again on 30/8/9. We followed up again & again for repair.
                      It was again picked on 3/10/9 ( Receipt no. 269 ) & delivered on 22/10/9.
                      It worked improperly & reported again.
                      After repeated follow up & verbal complain it is picked up again on 24/10/9.
                      On 31/10/ 9 they mention that TV is repaired & working ok & under observation & will be delivered on 2/11/09.
                      On follow up on 3/11/9 they are asking Rs. 1500 again to repair to replace another part & without that they mentioned they will not deliver same
                      Now a day they stop picking up our phone. There are few people who whom we spoke at AKS, Divya, Aswini , Archana, Jtothi, Radhakrishna, Khan, Nadnan,
                      It is almost more than 3 month that TV is not & not a single time TV work at our home for more than 2 days.
                      Pl. helps us in getting repair as soon as possible.

                        LGE400 (L3 optimus)Phone bought on 2nd Sept 2012 has following poblems :

                        a) Phone hangs and is very slow b) Message sending is very slow c) Application hangs d) Internet pages too long to load and do not load and finally I have to close the internet d) Camera is not clear. Pictures are very dark and hazy. Colurs are poor and not natural colours. The pics are like in cheap china phone. e) Camera is not 3 mega pixels as claimed and equal to ordinary VGA f) Claiming 1 GB of internal memory is of no use, since apps can only be loaded on system memory which is 137 mb totally LG has sold a bad product to me in the name of optimus mails g) any complaints to lg customer service has not helped h) Live wall papers are not getting saved

                          I purchased washing machine in year 2009 ,It is just out of warranty and has stopped working.On contacting LG customer care ,the service engineer visited once and assessed that a part costing Rs .4000 has to be replaced .My machine cost is Rs.12000 and within just 3 years ,it has come to repair that too a costly part .Is this the quality of LG products ? What is the gurantee that the other aprts of machine will work well .Why should I spend more than 1/3 of the cost in just 3 years of machine?I am not happy with LG washing machine and its services.I had Whirlpool and Godrej washing machines earlier and their span of working was minimum 6 years .LG has only good outer looks ,but it quality is 0 and it is unsatisfactry

                            I bought a 50 inch LG Plasma TV on 12 Dec2010 for my home theatre system from Ace Technomark Noida. Invoice no 3557 book no 72. It was just used to watch films. After about 1.5 years one fine day when we planned to watch a movie all of a sudden the screen went out. There was sound but a complete black out on screen. After contacting LG customer care they sent an engineer who said the screen needs to be replaced which will cost Rs 25,000. I would rather prefer to buy a new TV in that price. When we enquired the engineer further on how it happened with no reason he replied thats the life of the product. It works for 2 year At themax. The TV costed usRs 62000.. The TV was not even used extensively. I've searched on internet and found that many people have faced such issues on this model. My question is why LG dint rolled back the product . I will never buy any LG product in my life. Its a huge waste of money that I did which I am regretting now. Neither I had expected this from a reputed company like LG.

                            I registered a complaint 1810120 against Lg but to no vain. My question is do they use such inferior quality components which they can warranty upto 1 year only and after that one fine day you get a shock of your lifetime that the tv doesn't work and needs a repairment cost of 25k which is approx. half of your actual cost. A whole panel failed.. It's disgusting.

                                I am very much fed up with LG customer services at hyderabad.We brought a washing machine from LG in MAR2006 and was working fine till 2009,then in July 2009 htey said that we need to change the entire circuit then it will work fine and replaced electronic circuit by charging Rs.3500 then again in July2012 our mechine stopped working and we immediately called LG customer service they came and checked and said that the bearing or something issue with drum need to replace it and if replace u need not look till another 5 or 6 years then we said ok and they charged Rs.4500 and replaced that one with old parts and arguing with us that it is new part,and dropped the washing machine and when they dropped the machine the was no power and we didn't had a chance to test it.but when we thought o[censored]sing it there is no power pass into it is not working. No response and was calling them daily and they say we are coming but no one is showing,so I need the response as soon as possible

                                  I'd LG Service Engineer visit me 6-7 months back for a dead LCD TV complaint (Model Jazz 3280FR). without even checking the unit he point blank mentioned that the LCD Panel is dead & needs to be replaced (charge of 12k+ labour etc) which i did not agree to knowing how the units function - none of the buttons on the TV itself were working. with nothing done about the TV still had to pay the darn visiting charges of 700+

                                  In this 4-5 months i managed to find an honest service technician (not authorized by LG) to check the unit and he stated that the VSM Board is not functioning which needs to be replaced. Now, i'm trying to get the spare from the service center and replace it on my own and the LG service center community are refusing to provide it to me unless i lodge a complaint after which some other crooked service engineer will come give his comments that i need to change what not? & charge me irrespective for 700+ fees on his visit.

                                  I've talked to multiple folks right from the 1800 numbered folks to the following

                                  I was given the number of some Manager who could've helped me but, it came as switched off ([protected])

                                  Thanks for your response, received call from number[protected]Guy again named Balaji), could not attend to the call then because was busy. Now, have been trying to follow-up with him past one week to visit for checking up the unit and no response. I also, clearly mentioned him that will not be available for next week so, better for him to visit this week itself.

                                  In any case, am very patient since looking at the dead 45K+ LCD unit for last 5+ months, nothing bothers me now ;-)
                                  Guess no one cares anymore ...

                                    Wepurchased a microwave 8091 on 14.08,2012 from lg circuit mall, sector 8 ,chandigarh and when the engineer came for installation it was not working properly and he made some changes and even changed bulb of this said product. After that after every 2 months
                                    a major part of the appliance stopped working and had been replaced but when it was repalced 4th time I requested the company to be kind enough to replace this product as after warranty period we will not be able to bear the loss of inr 2000/- Every 2nd or 3rd month as that part costed almost this much( including labour charges) and after 3 days another part of the product got damaged and it had stopped working and then again I requested the same but no responsible answer from the company. Instead of helping us the company officials are trying to harrass us in one way or the other and now the branch mnager, karnal is bothered about the earthing in our house where we are using other lot of appliances. We want replacement of our product and the company should also bear the cost of mental agony and harrassment being given by the officials of karnal office.The product is lying dead since 30.07.2012
