Dear Sir,

Am yet to receive the diwali offer gifts of Blu Ray DVD Player and Three 3D movie titles against my purchase of 47-LED-LM6690 on 10th Nov 2012 from your authorised retailer S.C.Shah & Co. Pvt. Ltd, Mylaopore. TV was delivered to me on 14th Nov 2012.

When I had contacted your retailer on 28th Nov 2012, I was informed that am not entitled to Blu ray player since it got adjusted in the price and further arguing with retailer, they even told there is no blue ray player against this model. On 29th Nov 2012, I had visited your retailer again and asked them to give me in writing in their letter head stating that they had made price adjustment against the offer floated by LG, but they refused to.

This is to inform you that at the time of purchase, I did not involve in price negotiation with your retailer against the offer floated by LG.

Do your authorised retailers have right to adjust price in the offer floated by LG ? If they are adjusting, are they producing LG, a copy of form where we customers acknowledging the price deduction against the offer floated by LG ? How can dealer say No blue ray player against this model, when LG had put up an open advertisement in news papers?

I feel cheated with this LG offer by your authorised retailer.Humble request to LG to ensure that the customer gets what was promised of the offers floated.

As per your offer, I had received only 4 nos 3D glasses along with TV. We are yet to recieve "Three 3d MovieTitles" and the "3D Blu Ray player".

I had written mails and calls to LG customer care about this to help me out. Till date am not getting any positive update on the same.

    This is Sanjeev choudhary from Delhi. I had bought a double door refrigerator from LG store here yamuna vihar on 2011 for my House.
    suddenly in august 2012, it stopped working and after a 15 days of calling the service centre frequently, the service people came on sep 2012 and put some gas in it and charged me Rs, 1450, and said it will work in a couple of days… but nothing happened. I called the service people again and they asked me to the compressor is not working and compressor will change and give me quote for gas and compressor around Rs.5300.00.i have call to miss anju(custome Care manager) for repair of my refregetor but she conact me with local repair center and his rpresentative reply that you was filled gas out off LG Representative.so that Rs.5300 will charge. please help me.

    LG Appliances — Compressor/Motor not working

    Compressor/ Motor not working
    Complaint No:- N9C5150864 dated 15/05/2009.

    This AC is just 10 days old and the compressor works for 5-10 minutes and then stops for 30-45 minutes. After complaint was booked the service engineer visited and checked the cooling to say that all is fine.

    Complaint No:- N9C51900624 dated 19/05/2009.

    The AC did not start. The compressor and the motor was shut. The engineer visited and said that the Motor needs to be repaired.

    As I was not in favour of repair called up the dealer, who refused to replace the Unit.
    Another call to the Customer care and another complaint No:- N9C52003888, they still insisted for repair.


    Such a reputed company and not reliable appliances.
    Further the Customer care is pathetic. They dont understand the plight of the customers and they dont know the ABC of Customer service.
    LG- SHOULD BE LIFE IS NO GOOD!, OUR LESS THAN 2 YEAR OLD DISHWASHER HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR ALMOST THREE WEEKS. WE HAVE CALLED THE REPAIR CENTER BUT THEY DON'T ANSWER NOR DO THEY CALL BACK. MACHINE DOES NOT DRAIN, CIRCUIT BOARD IS BAD AND THE REPAIR MAN INFORMED US THAT MOST OF THE SEALS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. SO MUCH FOR HIGH END APPLIANCE. HOME DEPOT SO FAR HAS FOUND THE SAME PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY CAN'T TALK TO ANYONE AT THE REPAIR CENTER. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER FOR LG IS NOTHING MORE THAN A REFERRAL SERVICE PLUS THEY ARE IN SOME FOREIGN COUNTRY WHERE ENGLISH IS NOT THEIR FIRST LANGUAGE! DON'T BUY LG AS WE DID ON THE ADVISE OF THE SALES PEOPLE WHO SAID THEY ARE GREAT A PRODUCTS!

      i have bought an LG front load washing machine worth 33k 1 month back. The demo for the same is still pending. The height of annoyance is that i have been following up since last 15 days for registering the demo. And all the customer care guys do is "we'll send a reminder call". The technician never called me back for the demo. We have also registered 2 complaints...but all in .vain.

      The service center that is Shree electronics never picks up the phone nor does the customer care manager.

      There is no option left for me.

        Hi

        I am using LG washing machine WP9256 from last 3 years, there was one small breakage in washing tub and i have logged the call with LG support center using support reference number rna[protected] dated 28/11/2012. After continuous followup with service team my washing machine delivered to my home on 10th of Dec'12. As my product have only body breakage problem , body of the LG machine got changed. For this change i have paid Rs 3711. I have checked the washing machine in next 30 minutes and find that there is lots of noise and its spin tub is not working . I have again talked to the LG service desk on same day in maximum 1 hr interval with call reference number rna[protected]. LG team has visited and saying that the motor of the washing machine faulty. It gave me big surprise , how come this part of body got faulty without any usage after repair. I am trying to convince LG service people but they are not ready to accept this gap and ask for new repair charge for this replacement .
        I need immediate attention from your and provide me necessary support on this resolution. All these delays is creating big trouble for me and service team is mentally harassed me on the support part.
        Looking for your kind suppot on this.

        LG Electronics — Cheating/Misguide

        Dear Sir,

        I bought a LG LCD TV model no. 32LG80UR from your dealer M/s. Electronic Paradise (North), Pitam Pura Delhi on 1-2-2009 vide Invoice No. R030357 and the TV was delivered at 7pm and installed at 8pm at my residence.

        I have seen the advertisement in TIMES OF INDIA on 8-2-2009 and I am noticed that there is a scheme on this model to get a DVD player with 50 movies DVD free from 1st Feb to 14 Feb., 2009. When I enquire from the dealer about this, he is saying there is an extra payment required for DVD player. I am shocked that in the advertisement no where is mentioned that the customer has to pay extra for that more over at the time of purchase dealer does not inform us about the scheme. If the payment is extra then why the dealer gives me 50 movies DVD free.

        I have lodged a complaint over phone in your customer care they give me a complaint reference N[protected] Dated 8-2-2009 and they had given me a phone of Mr. Sunil Kumar Branch officer [protected]. I have called up so many times but he is not picking up the phone. With reference to my letter dated 14.3.09,

        After 15-20 days I received a call from Mr. Abhinav from LG office. He is saying the same word which was saying by the dealer, that if you want DVD PLAYER you have to pay Rs. 2800/- apart the TV payment which we have to pay at the time of delivery. I failed to understand no where in the advertisement is mentioned any price of the TV and DVD player, then why the dealer and LG staff is asking more money for DVD player.

        I can not understand that, at the time of purchase we can not bargain for any discount from the dealer and dealer also not informing us about the scheme, which ever price dealer demand we can pay the price. Even we ask the dealer that we don’t want this DVD pack, you can reduce the DVD pack price from our TV price but dealer refused and saying that this is a offer from the company then why he is not giving me a DVD Player this is also from company.

        I think the companies like LG are making a fool or want to cheat the customer by giving this type of advertisement in the news paper.

        Kindly suggest me what type of legal action I can take up against the company.

          I bought one LG refrigerator on 29th August, 2012 (Model GL-305VS4/2012).

          Recently I noticed one bump in the body which definitely is not man made. I am attaching the photo herewith. It seems the adhesive has come off due to difference in temperature with the arrival of winter. It is not a dent which is generally caused by hitting with something but its a bump which can not be created by us.

          I lodged a complaint with service desk on 27th Nov (RNA[protected]. The outcome was very disappointing. The representative was confused and his superiors we blatantly telling "customer is lying, don't bother".

          They even refused to provide the assessment in writing so that I can take it up with appropriate forum. However they refused to do anything about it.

          I am very disappointed with the service, attitude, behavior. Moreover I am disappointed that my new refrigerator is not looking good anymore with this bump.

          I urge you to do something about it urgently. I have packed my home with LG appliances with the assumption that your service is very good but now with this experience, I have to think twice before I buy any LG appliances.

            This is Rohit Prakash, working with a Govt. of India enterprise posted at Siliguri Dist. Darjeeling. I had purchased a LG 42 inch 3D Plasma TV “42PW450” on 30.07.2011 from E-Zone, Siliguri. On 28.09.2012 evening, this LG TV stuck in standby mode and it wont turn on. When I again plugged in after removing D2H HDMI cable, the same thing happened i.e. the red light is on, click the power button on the remote or on the tv, and there is a click, the red light goes off, and within a second, another click, and then the red light comes back on. Problem was reported in LG Support and then I came to know that my product is out of warranty. Anyway my Complain number is RNA[protected] and till date it is not get repaired. Service Engineer from LG came on 29.09.2012 and find that two Boards of this TV have some problem so they have to replace these two board estimating about Rs.3500/- approx. They order for the same and on 12.10.2012, he came with those board and replace the same but it wont work. Now, he said that I have to bring this TV to LG Siliguri Service Centre because it seems that Flat Panel or logic board has some problem which is too costly items. I am residing in a HIG Flat with proper earthing, no voltage fluctuation and also there was no thundering takes place in that period of time then how it was happen. On warranty, I did some reading and found that the law is actually vague in that it says the product should last a reasonable time and that is open to interpretation, so dont take no for an answer from the company because a reasonable time may be 10 years for a product like a TV. Now on 05.12.2012, I finally came to know that it is flat panel which is faulty without any reason and it cost around 17,857/- + service charges without AMC. In my view, It seems that TV has manufacturing defect, so my question is
            (1) Why was my TV panel last only 1yr 2 month whereas company claims in the advertisement that this type of panel last for 100,000 hrs?
            (2) Company like LG India has to take responsibility for high value electronics after warranty for reasonable time?
            It is highly time consuming thus harassing mentally as well. Considering above facts, Company policy, mental harassment, monetary loss etc I think that I had made biggest mistake of my life by choosing LG. Me and my family are very disturbed for such a big amount for repairing a TV. Since last 70 days I am continuously follow up the matter via phone and email. LG India Official did'nt take any responsibility at all. Therefore you are requested to pursue the matter at the earliest possible.

              I bought LG Split AC 1.5 Ton 3 Star in Rathina Cools Pvt Ltd No.36/1, Rajabather Street, T.Nagar,chennai - 600017 last January 05/01/2012. Last week (18/11/2012) i called LG Customer Care ([protected]) for 2nd Free Service, they told me that they will send the Service Engineer within 48hrs, my Customer Complaint (RNA[protected] yet now i did not get any response from LG Customer Care, Once again i remind the Customer Care on 22/11/2012 regarding my Split AC service they did not responded properly. Worst Service from LG service centre. Please take back your worst product. i recommend everyone not to buy LG Split AC because of their Poor Response & Service.

              LG Split Air Conditioner — Poor service by the Local dealer

              Dear Sir

              Last year I purchased LG Split Air condition of your dealer in Tiruchirapplli. After purchase, they fail to do free service and come to check the air condition. Once when I am went overseas time, my father book the complaints to the local dealer for the checkup when switch on air con, water coming inside of the window. That time product have warranty period, This problem in air con is due to not properly instal the tube line out let. For complete the service the collect from my father 700/- . I cann't understand when it is warranty period is there. Why the local of your dealer is collection money for the customer. This is not nice do the service in this manner. Now I have problem in air con that filter to be immediately. After several phone to the local dealer in Tirucharappalli ALV Trader. I hope this complaint lodging to you take necessary step of action to take the concern dealer and give feedback what necessary action take for it. I need why there is service charges collect from customer during period of warranty. Provke this matter immediately

                I am Dr V Garg.
                I had bought a 32 inch LG LED TV LM6410 from their authorised showroom at MEERUT on 07 Nov 2012 wherein a discount was on and I paid Rs 55500/- whereas the MRP was Rs 62000/-.
                I was shocked that later on 10 Nov 2012 the company further reduced the price of only this model to Rs 51990/-.
                I feel that the company should have treated their early bird customers with sensitivity and should have offered matching discount on their own but that has not happened and when I tried to contact them they are are evasive in their replies.
                They did not even follow the concept of price protection.
                I request you to please help me in getting justice from the company.
                An early action would be appreciated.

                  We have given 5 Air conditioners for AMC for the last 3 years (renewed every year.) This year LG had sent a new agency to collect the AMC cheque. Now when ever we call for service all the complaints are closed saying "AMC RENEWED BY OTHER AGENCY" Call closed. I do not understand why this is happening, I have not issued AMC cheques to care of foothpath company or agencies, Given it to LG, now if LG's sub agencies are fighting internally we cannot suffer for the same. The air-con have not been serviced by efficient staff and every time we fight with the Area Service Manager he send the executive who claim to have re-paried the A/C's but they never work for more than couple of hours. Now I am tired and have decided to file a case in consumer court for deficiency of service and mental agony. Sad part is there is no address even in the AMC forms where we should send the legal notice to. Does any one have LG's coporate office address?

                  I had called there 1800 number a few days back and teh executive clamly says that all the calls are closed.
                  If you have faced similar problems with the we can file jointly. Please contact and help me in the same.

                  Honestly feel cheated by there advertisements claiming 24hours guaranteed service resolution. Its been now almost 9 months and no resolution at all to the service requests...

                  LG — Deficiency in service,hiding of information

                  Dear Sir
                  I purchased LG Dishwasher from Croma Phoenix Mall out let on 4th Dec 2010 with following commitments
                  1. It will be delivered within 48 hrs and installation cum demo in 48 hrs sfter delivery
                  2. The salt and detergent is available with the LG
                  It was not installed inspite of my repeated pleas to both croma and LG. Today on 19th the LG person came and installed charging me another Rs750 for detergent and salt without giving receipt or showing the labels,on my insistence and talk with customer care man Shri Triptikant, Shri Triptikant just behaved arrogantly threatening me in clear words that he would see how your any complaint in future would be resolved and would make warranty of the machine functionally irrelevant.Height of things is company doesn't have salt and detergent they removed wrappers because they used material of IFB. My Complaint is Delay in installation,Hiding information that salt and detergent is not made by company and its availability, arrogance on the part of staff threatening not to provide service. Croma may also be asked about hiding of information.

                  I feel these AMC are of not much use generally unless your luck is very bad. I have a similar experience:
                  LG AMC Complaint:
                  I bought LG Washing machine (Front load) with 10 years warrantee on motor. I am quite happy with the product, but during installation and demo time just after purchase, the service man convinced me to buy AMC for washing machine maintenance by telling all lies that after 6 months drum will get dirty and it would not wash. Now it is more than a year and i also verified from showroom, these were all big LIES. He told me that every 3 months customer care will call you and somebody will come for maintenance. More than 1 year gone, and they never called me for maintenance. As I paid around Rs. 5300 for 4+2 years AMC maintenance, I really regret my decision. I checked this from showroom, they told me that the service man gets FAT commission for these AMC so they try to convince. Also showroom guy told that there is not much required for these front load washing machine maintenance, I just need one liquid to clean drums.
                  After this, I have outright rejected proposal from these service man for taking these kind of LG AMC for my Air Conditioner. So please never go for these AMC. For GOD shake. I hate it left right and center….Offcourse LG products are good. I have Fridge, MicroOven, AC all LG. BUT AMC sucks.

                    I have been complaining to the service centre of the LG products for a non functioning of a newly purchased Home thatre system
                    Every time i call , the service centre has been intimating us that the local; service centre will attend in 24 hours . I have now called them for over 7 times and have not recived any call form thier technicians. During one fo the first few calls to the national helpline no they gave me a complaint ID as RNA[protected] . After repeated calls to this no they also gave me another service centre no [protected]. this no I have tried over 50 times, either the line is busy and when it rings no one picks up.
                    I hope this forum takes up with LG appropriately and sorts out the matter.

                      My LG microwave still under warranty is non functional since 4th of Nov'2012. I lodged a complaint with LG customer care (Complaint No. RNA[protected] on the 5th of Nov'2012. A technician visited on 7th Nov and said that the diode & heating coil needs replacement and will do the same in a day or two. When there was no response till the 14th of Nov'2012, I again lodged a complaint (Complain No. RNA[protected]) on the 15th of Nov'2012. Till date the problem remains unresolved and the worst is that the customer care also is not responding to our call. I want to be known to the head India operation LG electronics to know about this and expect some action from him.

                        We have purchased one LG 3D 32LM 6200 Smart TV by Local Vendor ( Guman Jhotwara, Kalwar Road, Near Kanta-pankha, Jaipur ) Which we didnot get the remote and 3D glasses in the packed box , we have contact to Vendor he said to complain in LG but also there is no response so Please Look into the same.

                          I bought LG Tv on[protected] in Shah’s shop in T.Nagar. Attached the bill for your reference.
                          It seems TV started flickering and picture is not showing clearly. Ie. I raised a ticket RNA[protected] on[protected]. The problem has been restored itself. Ie. The ticket is closed.
                          Then, the same problem occurred again. I raised another ticket with LG Customer care RNA[protected] on[protected]. Customer care informed me that I will get a call from Technician in 24 hours.
                          But, It is not happening for the 4 days. I happened to call again and again to prioritize. Ie, Technical person came and check and see the board problem.
                          Technician says he will request for board and wait for a week. After I waited for one week and another technician came with board and checked that it is not related with Board problem. It seems it is Panel problem.
                          Ie. I called out his Technical manager to sort out the probem. Technical manager says various reason to rectify the problem.
                          It seems the ticket is closed as the part is not available.
                          So far, It is not resolved. I am totally unhappy with LG TV and the support provided me.
                          I bought the TV for my family and watched around one month only. Because of the TV problem, I am getting lot of problem with my wife and children as the TV is not working.

                          Now, I have reopened a ticket RNA[protected].
                          I want to insist again that I am unhappy with LG TV and the support provided me. I request LG Team to return my money 23,100 Rs back.

                          I HAD COMPLAINT ABOUT MY LG JOYMAX 99 21" COLOUR TV WHICH WENT BLANK SCREEN SUDDENLY BUT 5 DAYS HAVE PASSED AND I HAVE TO RUN POOL TO POST JUST TO GET THE SERVICE, MY TV FRIDGE WASHING MACHINE COMPUTER ALL ARE OF LG BUT IF THIS IS THE SERVICE I GET FROM THEM THAN I M SORRY TO SAY.I HAVE STARTED HATING LG FROM NOW ON.

                            I purchased LG Hausys Bathroom Couter Top and Sink from their Authorised dealer Bansal Sales Corporation, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. They took lot of time to deliver product and when it was deleivered it was of poor quality and completelty wrong specifications. It will not even fit the frame. After that they promised to rectify the same in 2-3 days. However even after 2 months they have not rectified. They had taken full advance.
                            Every time I contacted, they gave an excuse that they are busy. earlier they said it is because of Shradh, then it is because of Dhushehara, then it wa sbecause of Diwali, then it was because of Chhat puja. Now they are saying that it is because of an exhibition they are participating at Pragati Maidan.
                            I contacted LG Hausys officials also, but they are also protecting their dealer and are not taking any step to rectify the problem. It is putting me to great inconvenience. Will any senior LG Hausys official listen to this and help small customers like me??

                              i bought a 32'' LCD TV from silligiri in 2009 but from past 2 months there has been no display on the screen. i gave repeated complaints but invein. from past 1 month the service executives are claming to repair it within every 24 hrs but till today nobody has appeared for repair. You are requested to look into the matter and send your rep as soon as possible. otherwise i have to go to consumer forum against you and your company.

                                  I have purchased a LCD 32” Model No.32LS3400 on dt. 27/10/2012 From Kashika Enterprises, Mahmoorganj, Varanasi. I have shocked by the behaviour of dealer while he refused me to provide declared scheme (Airtel Settop box) with the LCD purchased after getting the payment on delivery of LCD. He also mention that scheme in my Payment Slip. When I enquire the dealer about non delivery of Airtel Set topbox with my LCD he said he will install yesterday through the company. But when I enquire second day he asked me to deposite Rs.690/- for Activation of Connection. I told him you have not inform me about the Activation Charge before purchase of LCD and you hav'nt deliver/install the Airtel Settopbox at my home yet how can I deposite the Activation Charge. Now he told me that he cannot deliver the Airtel Settop Box because I did not deposite the charges and "You can do what u can" I feel myself as cheated by the dealer. Pl do needful .

                                  LCD - 32 — Cheating with customer

                                  I purchased LG latest LCD 32" with Bluetooth, USB and Motion free from EZONE, Chembur on 20-12-09, eventhough everybody was favouring Sony LCD.

                                  The said LCD was fitted by LG representative on 23.12.09. At the time of fitting, he told me that LG company is not providing USB cable and he is providing USB extention cable which is required as after fitting on wall, it is difficult to use USB. He charged Rs. 250 from me for providing siad USB cable.

                                  On sunday[protected] when I was reading LG LCD Instruction Manual, said cable is part of accessories on page 4.

                                  The cable which was provided by LG representative was provided by LG but he had charged me wrongly. I contacted him / LG customer care centre/ EZONE on phone/ email, but I have not received satisfactory reply from any one of them.

                                  In view of above, request to look into the matter in the interest of large customers.

                                    My TV got damaged in lightning in the second week of October 2012. I called the service center no [protected] and they directed me to contact Michro Tech Palakkad on phone number[protected]. I contacted them and a service engineer was sent to my residence and he could not diagnose the problem and told that he is taking the board for repair. I contacted the service center after two weeks and they promised to set things right within a couple of days. I contacted them after a month and they told that thw part is out of stock. The gave me another number of Mr. LIJIN mob :[protected]. He told me that the company had stopped production of the spare.I told him to send back the board immediately, he didnt obliged.

                                    My name is sethu Madhavan, My land phone[protected] and mobile is [protected]. Can you do something to sort this type of arrogancy.

                                      I am Sabyasachi Haldar staying in A-80, Sector-30, Noida, UP (Mobile No. [protected]). I have purchased an LG Refrigerator on 07/07/2011 (Model No. 308VE5- 290 Liter) from Pankaj Electronics of Mayur Vihar Phase-I, New Delhi. Immediately after purchasing there was a problem of cooling and I have registered a complaint on 17/07/2011 (Complaint No. RNA[protected]. Service Engineer came and adjusted the cooling knob only but there was no improvement. Again I launched a complaint on 19th Sept 2011(complain No. RNA[protected] and at the same time sent a mail to your LG Service regarding the same (please refer the trailing mails). They advised me to be in touch with Branch Service Manger Mr Atul Wadhwa on his mobile number 0- [protected]. I called him and Mr. Babu/Shivendra has come and again adjusted the knob but there was no improvement. I have not launched any fresh complaint afterwards and was in touch with Branch Service Manager as per advice of LG Service and service engineer came several times but there was no significant improvement of cooling and they were just killing the time. I requested for replacement of the refrigerator but not possible as informed by Branch Service Manager. Afterwards I lost interest of pursuing the same and that time the problem was moderate and during this process warranty period of one year got expired. The same problem persists and it is actuate now with no cooling at all and I again launched a complaint (RNA[protected] on 16/11/2012. The Service Engineer from LG came on 16th Nov. and told that gas needs to be refilled and due to late time not possible and will be done on next day (17th Nov.) and I have to pay all charges including service charge (approx Rs. 1100/-) which they could do in the warranty period at free of cost. On 17th Nov. service engineer tried to fill the gas but failed and told that gas cooling pipe need to be replaced and I have to pay for all, which cost me around Rs. 2200/-.

                                      My question is that why these same replacements not had been done during the warranty period? Immediately after expiry of warranty period how all these parts get non-functional?

                                      Please do needful and refund the money I need to pay for replacement of all parts, otherwise I will go to Consumer Forum because you people don’t care at all for your customer and this must be my last product of LG.

                                        I don't know whether you take this issue seriously or not but for me this is extremely serious. I bought a LG double door fridge on 32st july 2011 and now it is not working. I launched a complain RNA[protected] and
                                        engineer came and told the fridge had leak and it has corrupted all the parts and it needs to be taken to workshop. Since my warrenty period of 1 yr is over there will be charges on each item.


                                        I just wanted to know do u honestly believe LG fridge lifespan is 1 year ? If that is so I don't have any things to say if not please take this from my home so that I can make some space for another fridge.

                                        I am so delighted to your product and the quality of "CUSTOMER CARE" I shall henceforth make sure I don't buy ANY LG product in future.
