Assurance of Genuine OR Duplicate Product sold
Purchased a Micro oven model MC 2149BB, from L.G. SHOPPE , 70,G.T. Rd,Bhanga Pachil, ASANSOL,on 24.10.2011.After attending the cooking classes organized by LG my wife started the oven.
The oven worked fine for a month. On 25th. Dec. she prepared the mixture for a cake the oven did not operate. Service center was ( via the Shoppe) informed & attended it after 2 days. They came and said fuse had was loose in the holder & fixed it.
Again on 1st. Jan.12, there was body short problem (this was detected when she by mistake touched the oven she received an electrical shock). Service center was informed through dealer, they came after a week, but unfortunately there was transformer fault their there was no supply, when my wife told them that the oven had body current they simply told that there is an Earthling Problem—ok.They went back. I called my electrician to check the faulty earthing system—after through check up no fault was seen .We had installed good earthing as use heavy AC in home. The was not operated for some time.
After all check up’s, oven was started to prepare a cake on my father’s birthday who is 90 years, she received a severe electrical shock & had a injury. Now she had a fear o[censored]sing the oven.
A complain was launched through mail (RRA[protected].The very next my complain was attended by a Technician of LG & I was informed that the Magnetron was defective was to be replaced.( Oven fuse blown off replaced by a thick wire).
Right from the purchase the oven was having one after one problem. I immediately took the oven to dealer for replacement as the product sold was not genuine because LG being a reputed Company cannot have so defective product sold in market, as I have heard that LG has a good Quality Checks facility. I dropped the Oven in their Shoppe, & I told them I will take it after getting assurance from LG that it is totally fault free & save to use & it is also genuine (as I have heard that is shoppe sell duplicate item).
After a month on 24.09.12, from service center of LG,Hutton Rd, delivered the oven at my home.
At first my wife refused to take delivery of the oven. She rang up the Shoppe the salesman said to take delivery of the oven & he will arrange to take up the oven within 2 days from my home. Since then they never tried to contact me but I contacted them they told me that we sending our representative to collect the oven. However this was not till date.
More ever it makes me feel sure the product which I purchased was not genuine, as lack of response from the Shoppe or service center.
When my wife asked the technician about demonstration that the oven fault free from electrical shocks, they simply denied it and left the oven in my veranda, she fears about the oven is fault free.
Service center at ASANSOL, is of no good, as they do not have good technician (I think) or parts (ex. fuse that was supplied by the oven was replaced by a thick wire as they were tripping my line), as such a fault cannot be rectified----why?
Now my is fear o[censored]sing the oven as it might not serviced properly—then why did not give demonstration.
So I request you from your side to indicative steps to solve my problem or make them to refund they money &as i have no faith in this product.

    I request you to kindly look into this issue for an early solution.

    I have purchased a LCD TV 42 " Jazz on 27the Nov 2008 model no 42LG80 FR from Fundamental Electronics Pvt Ltd south city Kolkata.
    Recently I had witnessed a problem ,my set was automatically getting off. But on 5the Nov thee screen of my TV set became totally blank and thee LED lamp on thee panel stopped glowing.
    We made a complaint to LG customer care and thee Complaint ID is RNA[protected] on 8the Nov. but I am sorry to say thee thee problem is not resolved till date. I have called LG customer care twice and few times to LG franchisee at Kolkata but they are saying that thee spares are not available withe us or withe thee company. Under the circumstances I am surprised to understand how a company like LG functions. This organisation is behaving like a local electronic manufacturer. Do they want to punish people who have trusted LG brand.??????????
    ( More over I have made a subscription for HD dish TV and I am unable to enjoy it without my TV, I am loosing money. )

      I have purchased your Home Theater Blu-ray HB806TM (from Reliance Digital, Shipra Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, U.P.-201009) on 11-Nov-2012. And I have already conveyed the message to your sales

      Executive Mr. Prashant (Mob No: [protected]) that please install it on Monday, 12-Nov-2012 (any time). Because 13th-Nov is Diwali and we are going to our Native place (for next 3-4 weeks) on 14-Nov-

      2012 morning. Your dealer has said that it will be definitely install on 12-Nov-2012. But still we were waiting for your confirmation call and engineer till night. And still didn't get any Installation call and engineer.

      So that I had called to LG Customer care on 13-Nov and launched the complaint then got a phone number of Swastik Service center ghaziabad (Mob No: [protected] / [protected]) and he said that he is not

      able to install today on 13-Nov-2012. He can only give demo of Home Theater, Installation will happen after Diwali. So my question is that if he can come here for demo then what is the problem with

      Installation?

      We got your product yesterday at 9:00AM and still we are waiting for installation??? It just ridiculous and irresponsible behavior of LG. I really frustrated at the beginning of buying a product of LG then What

      would be your service in future?

      Now, what should I do?
      I am going to my Native place for next 3-4 weeks.
      So, please return and bring back your product (Home Theater Blu-ray HB806TM) and give my money back ASAP.

        With reference to the above subject.

        We bought LG 3D LED TV on 10/10/2011. Within six months there was
        problem in display and it was rectified by LG service engineer.Which
        was under warranty. Now again the same problem persist on
        09/11/2011.Now LG service engineer is asking for Rs.35000/- to
        rectify the problem. Which is very painful.

        Request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful by
        replacing the product.

            I purchased a 42 inches scarlet LCD TV from authorized LG showroom about 2 years back after 1 year there was a black line that appeared on the TV screen on one side later on some shadows of picture started developing on the screen i reported the matter twice to LG customer support they visited my home and said that this is very rare defect that occurs one in a lakh and they will have to change the screen panel and as the warranty was only for 1 year i will have to pay 19000 Rs ...for that...This is a big question on the quality of product sold by LG..as my LCD has never been moved neither misused still this defect occured,....

              RNA[protected] Dated 01/8/2012 .I purchased a microwave oven ,and the machine lost functions one by one.Though I have made complaints ,the company is not providing after sales service.Now the repairing authority is telling that since the spare is not produced by the company,I should get it repaired by some local people.But there is nobody available who can repair it without a spair.How can the company be so irresponsible? After spending Rs.10000/- I could use it only for six months.How can I get the machine replaced?

                I had taken an extended warranty from LG for my Split AC on 2nd June 2012. Despite calling up their call center multiple times, no one has turned up for service even once. I escalated this to the senior officer customer care - Mr. Shaji Sayeed @ [protected]. The attitude of this officer was pathetic, and he asked me to go back to the call center and register a compliant.

                I have demanded a complete refund of my AMC amount with damages, but there is no response from their end

                Wonder what LG is upto in India ???

                      My complain number RNA[protected] made on 16th Oct 2012 at LG customer care for my Microwave oven is not attended till today (06/11/2012).

                      When I called the customer care toll free for the third time, the person who attended my call agreed that over 600 customers are facing such issue in South India.

                      I called local service center so many times, they returned my calls couple times stating that they would come in 24 hrs. Several 24 hours have gone now.

                      I also made another complaint through their website:

                      There is no answer to this too. I do not know how to handle this other than going legal, since their customer care is totally shut down. The product is 5 months old, Under warranty- and LG India advertises it heavily as a higher end Charcoal model. Anyone can advice how to go about this?

                      lg / lg microwave oven — update my profile

                      SIR,
                      I already purchase a samsung washing machine dated 13/04/2010 this loan is closed and then i have purchase a microwave oven dated 26/01/2011 this loan is running still now, but my profile is not updated.i want to know my loan statement

                      L.G — requesting to repair your microwave oven

                      i have given complaint on my microwave oven .there is no response from one month. there is no immediate action is taken. they have given a code last month RNA[protected]. so take an immediate action.

                      lg india microwave oven — spare support not available

                      i had purchased an lg microwave oven in 2006. it was put to only occasional use.
                      last year the machine went dead.
                      i complained to the local service centre: A-Z service centre, hubli.
                      the service engineer visited twice and told that the PCB is damaged.
                      but the same was not replaced.
                      because the spare support is not available from the factory for appliances older than 5 years.

                      so, how does it suit lg-india to sell appliances with a limited life of 5 years?
                      i still hope that these people have something in stock which can be made available to me.
                      i think they can make some efforts in this direction. these will surely yield fruit.

                        Hi,
                        It gives me immense displeasure to lodge this complaint. I, MAJOR JITENDRA CHATURVEDI, had purchased a new fridge ( LG Refrigerator Model No- GL285FEG5/2011) in DEC 2011. Since January 2012, I am Continuously Complaining for very less cooling due to which food and other products getting spoiled. After numerous Complaints the SO CALLED SERVICE CENTRE o[censored]rs was kind enough to send the technician. He checked and told to close the fridge overnight and start in the morning. Next Morning when we restarted the fridge, the problem remained the same. I told Service Centre that if there is a Problem in the set, you please change it. But there approach to the problem seems as if they want that the warranty period should get expired so that they can charge heavily thereafter.
                        During month of Oct 2012, when I told Service centre that u please look into the issue else I have to report to ur higher ups, to which they replied that they will give on last chance and still the problem persist, they will replace the fridge.
                        Yesterday, i.e. 05 Nov 2012, one of the technician came to visit. Being in army, it took me five min to reach the Security gate to get him but by that time he left and when I Spoke to hi on mobile to come back as I m waiting at the gate... his reply was very roud ( stating that can't u understand hindi, I will not come now).
                        I will request you to kindly change the fridge or get my problem solved. the warranty is getting over in DEC 2012.

                        LG — change of refrigerator

                        we bought new LG fridge on 28 april from LG shoppee janakpuri bt its not working properly.we have called several times to LG company as well dealer but they showing such a casual attitude .

                        It Seems that LG COMPLAINT CELL only works when somebody writes very negative about LG SERVICES... it has almost been a week when I had Filed this complaint, and is still waiting for a response... I had also called the SO CALLED NATIONAL CUSTOMER CARE OF LG ELECTRONICS... and was disappointed with replies like our seniors are busy, they will call in next TWO HOURS (WHICH ACTUALLY HAS TURNED UP TO NEVER ENDING 2 HOURS). my food stuff is getting spoiled.

                        It gives me immense displeasure to lodge this complaint. I, UTTAM ANCHALIA, HOWRAH, WEST BENGAL had purchased a new fridge ( LG Refrigerator Model No- GL-314 PMG4) in MARCH 2013. SinceJUNE 2013, I am Continuously Complaining for very high cooling due to which food and other products getting spoiled. After numerous Complaints the SO CALLED SERVICE CENTRE o[censored]rs was kind enough to send the technician on every call. we have done all the guidence whatever the engineer told us to resolve the problem.still the problem persists even after on the last visit of lg service engineer changed the thermostat on 14.1.2013 . I told Service Centre that if there is a Problem in the set, you please change it. But there approach to the problem seems as if they want that the warranty period should get expired so that they can charge heavily thereafter.
                        Today 22.1.2014 lg service center replied that they will give on last chance and still the problem persist, they will replace the fridge.

                        I will request you to kindly change the fridge or get my problem solved. the warranty is getting over in MARCH 2014.

                            This is with reference to an LG airconditioner which I bought on[protected], I am writing this mail as the last option left with me to resolve a problem that I have been facing for almost1.5 years.

                            Product Details:

                            The AC has been making noise since the very early days of its purchase and in past 1.5yrs there have been:

                            1. 4 services without solution to the noise issue, the engineers who would come, would clean the AC, adjust here and there or put some newspaper, which would reduce the noise for a while but would start again in sometime.

                            2. several visits by engineers and other LG staff to find the problem- one would say compressor, other would say 'regular window ac noise', 3rd one would say installation problem. As if some training session was going on.

                            3. Ac underwent 1 repair at service centre, again with no solution, I wasted some money in this process.

                            4. Ac underwent 1 change of compressor, yet again without solving the problem

                            5. The service centre manager (Mr. Imran) and senior engineer (Mr. Hussain) have sent a recording of the noise to LG regional sales manager (Mr. Vivek) on[protected].

                            6. 3 reminders through phone call and sms have been sent to the LG regional sales manager (Mr. Vivek), but no response.

                            7. N number of calls and follow ups in the entire 1.5 years.

                            8. 1.5 years of mental agony

                            I have hardly used the AC, as the noise gets so loud in couple of hours time, that the whole house vibrates. It actually gives headache.

                            I am extremely dissapointed by the product and service quality of LG, never expected such substandards.

                              I Manish kumar wish to state that i want to buy an LG LED TV on EMI as per advertisement given in the paper dated 31st oct,2012 in HINDUSTAN newspaper of Bihar.But the dealer in my town i.e D.C.LAL & SONS ,tower chowk, Darbhanga, Bihar has denied the EMI services.He is not accepting the advertisement given by LG Electronics.I had already filed this complaint earlier also but i don't recieve any information regarding this.so please once again i wish to say that take some action.

                                i HAD PURCHASED LG REFRIGERATOR ON 15/11/2011 BUT WAS UNDER BREAKDOWN ON 1/10/2012, THE SAME WAS CONVEYED TO SERVICE CENTRE AND HAD ASSURED TO REPLACE IT BY NEW ONE, WHEN WE WERE ASKED TO CHECKED THE REPLACE NEW PIECE WE FOUND THAT SOME ACCESSORIES WERE MISSING CHILLING UNIT AND CONNECTION PIPES OF THE COMPRESSOR WERE TEMPERED THIS WAS CONVEYED TO THE HEAD OF THE SERVICE CENTRE HE SAID THAT IF YOU WANT YOU TAKE THIS PIECE IT WOULD NOT BE REPLACED BY ANOTHER ONE, HOW CAN WE TAKE SUCH PIECE AFTER PAYING FULL MONEY HOPE TO RESOLVE THIS EARLIEST AND PROVIDE US WITH NEW BRAND PIECE

                                    I registered a complaint on 28th October regarding my inability to start the TV.I had to push the on/off button 20 times to get the TV ON.Service Engineer came on Monday 29th and said that he has to chabge PC Board.Despite several calls on a daily basis he was unable to service my TV.He has left the back panel open with no screws to hold the screen.
                                    Despite repeated calls to LG Customer service nothing has been done.
                                    This is to request potential TV buyers not to buy LG in Chennai as the service support is pathetic and indifferent.

                                        I purchased LG 32 Inch LCD TV in 2008 and it developed a snag in 2012 July. LG executive repaired it and worked well and at the same time he asked me to take AMC which will be useful by LG under the plan HApply Living . I gave a cheque in the name of LG customer care of RS 5000 for 3 yrs AMC. The cheque was processed and so far has'nt received any receipt/document related to my AMC. I called customer care repeatedly, but they are asking me to contact local service centre who collected cheque ie. VAdapalani Customer care. When i called them, they are not esponding. No body is responding and now i had a problem with my TV and gave complaint on 13th Oct 2012, request no:RNA[protected]. LG CC executive came and said there needs to be a spare replacement and it will be done in 2-3 days. but so far no body came and when i called LG CC back on 30th OCt, they told my request has been cancelled. Infact i called thrice in between to LG Cc and i was told that my request is kept in pending for spare receival. Now again on 31.oct 2012 once again i lodged complaint, request no:RNA[protected]. But so far nobody attended.

                                        This is really worst customer care service from LG and infact it can be considered as a fraud. They collected 5000Rs but not providing any service not even a receipt. I am thinking of putting a criminal case for collecting money from public with wrong intentions.

                                        Pls guide me in this problem.

                                        LG Electronics — Complaint not processed

                                        I purchased a LG microwave oven form LG. When I checked after delivery I found it to be dented. I made complaint with LG service center. They sent a service engineer who inspected and few days later brought a body cover.
                                        While fixing he realized that its of different color. He took it back and never came back with right one. I made several repeated complaints but of no use.

                                        LG after sales service is really poor.
                                        I have nothing but problems with LG Appliances. Within the first two months in my new home, I had 3 microwaves, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators. All with manufacturing defects. Now after one year I noticed the bottom of the Range cracking and chipping. I already cut my finger on it when washing it after dinner. This was noticed when cooking dinner for guests one evening. When I checked on my dinner I noticed the circular lines all over the oven floor. Pieces were coming up and I immediately did the best in this emergency to protect my guests and food. In doing so I put foil on the bottom. When I called LG they had me get a serviceman. The serviceman came and contacted LG that the oven is unrepairable. When I called to find out about the response, LG told me that the oven was defected and would be replaced. Then a couple of weeks went by and I decided to call LG AGAIN. This time I was told because I put the foil in the warranty would not apply and they would not replace the oven. In my original complaint I did tell them about the foil being an after effect of the cracking. Now they keep telling me that since I put the foil they will not cover the Range. The primary issue is the cracking and chipping not the foil. I am writting to every complaint board on-line. In addition my issue is on facebook and I have been told by a consumer lawyer that I have a good case. When will I be heard, when will LG OWN UP TO ITS RESPONSIBILITY?

                                        Well thank you for the prompt response from LG service team. yesterday LG service team brought a spare and then service engineer came to install. But the service engineer said that the spare is not matching my TV configuration. It seems as if the local service team want to calm down the customer for time being and supplied an irrelevant spare. LG service engineer informed me that he will confirm about this issue by today morning. But so far no call and when i am calling them, they are not lifting my calls.

                                        Anyway Kudos for the wonderful service and response by LG Service team.
