Bought LG Optimus 4x HD 3 months back for 27500
after that phone have giver me hell a lot trouble
have visited service center 8 times in 3 months
first main board was heating up too much so hey replaced main board then battery backup was pathtic they replaced battery
charger was faulty whenever conneted hangs the phone
then ear piece got replaced that wasn't all
A mark appeared inside screen they replaced it but some dust mark was left within 2 days it became big that too in the center of screen i called service center they left me on wait for 40 day then replaced screen then phones right most touch button went out of frequnecy it too again 1 day to be repaired

    I have been using LG products for some time now and have been facing a lot of problem I bought very expensive electronic items from LG this dewali with 10 years warranty but the product was defective and had to be replaced it took LG nearly 4 months to replace it, now I have been using the LG wide screen Plasma TV for nearly 7and a half years now the video PCB has been damaged as per information from the LG service centre, I told them to replace the damaged part and will pay for it but the LG people gave me a shocking answer that the TV model is no more available hence the part cannot be replaced, they took my TV and now have sent it back saying it cannot be repaired what am I supposed to do with a TV that is not working do I keep it in my drawing room as a souvinier....I am a retired Air Force officer and have ample time to pursue this issue and am thinking of going legal with the matter if no action is taken this is ridiculous.

        I purchased an LG AC from RATHNA FAN HOUSE.The LG sales person says that the AC condenser is made of full copper tubes in the AC split unit,but it was found that the condenser is made of ONLY aluminium after it was installed at my home.LG is cheating the public by telling false information and selling their product.

        While in the showroom, the sales person shows the inside of compressor unit having full of copper pipe.But while delivering you will not find any copper tube. LG is cheating the public. Don't buy LG AC and that too don't buy from RATHNA FAN HOUSE.

        Also, the copper tube connecting the inside and outside units was found to be made of copper tubes ONLY at its ends. In-between the ends its has been joined by a long aluminium tube. This is again is cheating the consumer.

I want to bring problem that is four times when we start the instrument, We heard very loud sound likes any bomb exposure. Then we immediately switch off the Instrument.

          Microwave — Manufacturing defect & Service complaint

          Dear Sir

          This is in regard to the Electrolux 20EC80SS 20Ltr Micro oven which i had purchased from M/s. Great Eastern Trading Appliances Pvt Ltd. Kolkata on 20/02/2008 vide Memo No.DH/CB/03797/07-08. Ever since the machine has never worked properly. It was attended by your Kolkata service centre several times. Finally it stopped working from 22nd July 2008, and after several complain the same was collected from by M/s United Refrigerator Co (Service provider) on the 7th August vide collection memo no 334 from us for necessary repair of PCB.

          Since then several follow up were made to M/s.United Refrigerator but all proved to be in vain. The matter was also bought into the notice of Mr. Mullick ([protected]) and Mr. Niranjan Kumar ([protected]) with no results. As a result we had to purchase a new LG Microwave as we were facing acute problem by not having one.

          Under the circumstances it is requested to your good self to please instruct your Kolkata office to be kind enough to return the amount of Rs.6290/=(six thousand two hundred ninety only) being the amount of Electrolux Microwave as we do not want to have a product of a company whose service standard is so pathetic. Please also note that if I do not get the refund within 7 days from writing this mail to you I will have no other option but to initiate legal action in accordance to Law.

          Kindly treat this very urgent and please do the need full.

          LG - Microwave — Microwave does not works - censor is not working

          I had lodged my complaint with LG service centre on January 3, 2009 as the Microwave which I was using had no censor or a faulty censor. After following up with Sevice Centre and with Call Centre still there is no reply till date. My Model no. is MC808war and my complaint no. which is not yet responded is W9C10300205.

          I would request you to get in this matter and help me on this.

          Lg Microwave — defected piece

          LG - Microwave — Defective good delivered

          I had purchased a LG microwave from the “seconds” section with which I have faced some problems. I had visited the LG godown whereby the concerned person showed me the models available along with the defects each had and accordingly, I had consented to purchase model # 8089 TLR priced Rs 8292/-, after a 40% discount.
          I would like to mention here that the defects in the microwave as shown and mentioned by the concerned person at the time of selection of model at the godown were as follows :

          - PCB board was defective and had subsequently been replaced
          - A small scratch on the door

          However, on receiving the item the following defects were found on the microwave :

          - Two small scratches on the door
          - Broken body on the right side back corner
          - A badly dented back portion (netted) – looks as though it has been smashed
          - The rotisserie rod missing
          - The accessories inside the microwave (which were seen packed at the time of selection) were all unpacked

          Considering the discrepancies in what was selected and the item received, I thought it wise to bring it to your notice so that you may be able to take necessary action on the issue. I had made a call to LG and the call no. is C09B2713507. I would also like to mention that a copy of the Invoice has been collected by an LG personnel on 10 December’09 from my residence. The Invoice no. is 109/23073

          An LG personnel had been working on this and mentioned that it would be replaced. However, the person got transferred and therefore I had to contact LG service again. They then mentioned to contact a person in Marketing division. However, this person also refused any help.

          I now have the product at my place since November'09 unable to utilise it, or throw it out.

          Even if it is purchased from the seconds shop, I felt the staff should have been honest enough to send the correct product. I have also offered LG to take back the product and I would purchase a new one from LG itself providing the additional charges. Even that was not accepted.

          Please let me know how I can get out of this as I stand utterly disgusted. LG - a company of repute is only a myth.

          Lg Microwave — Defective Microwave

          On 31st October 2010 , i purchased a LG microwave from TGIP Mall , Noida UP.Since day one it was making a hell lot of noise to which after repeated follow up with the company LG electronics and then they replaced the same with another microwave but still after 15 days of operation it has again started making same noise again.
          I donot wish to keep this equipment at my home as it is absolutely ridiculous and cheap quality products which LG is making.

          I finally wish that they should refund me the total amount so that i can buy some other microwave of a good company.But these guys are not at all ready to do this.I want them to take away their stupid piece (microwave) and refund me my total money.

          Lg Microwave — Defective LG Microwave

          We purchased a LG Microwave top of the line model back in 2008, and have had only problems from day one. At the time of the purchase only we became suspicious for it took the dealer over one and a half hours to arrange for the delivery, and looks like he gave us a defective piece.

          From day one the bulb did not work in the microwave and there was no light inside the same while it was running, we did not realize the same for months till a guest pointed that out to us.
          We put a complaint and it was fixed.

          the quality of heating as compared to other low end versions from other brands is verse in our model and it either does not heat the food properly or takes too much time.
          We have now compared our microwave with several models and have come to the conclusion that it was initially faulty as we could never make out the difference till we compared it with other models
          Next in store was the noise that the microwave would generate will running. The amount of noise was so loud that my 8 month year daughter would start imitating the noise every time we switch on the microwave.
          This time around also we did not realize that it is not normal and took it for granted and paid no attention for long.

          Later on there months back when the sound became too much we complaint and had to shell out 1500 rupees for repair, only to find the sound still coming from the microwave.

          The experience at the service center in Vishkahapatnam was not great enough for us to go back to them, they did not know what they were charging for and kept giving us a different bill amount for days.

          I have now given up on LG products as I have had a very bad experience with host of LG products from Cellphone to Refrigerator and Microwave and would pursue this complaint further also.

            I had purchased washing machine model No. WF-T7519PR, Sl No. 104NWRJ023670 ON 06/05/11 For Rs.14800/-. Warranty for 2 years. After few days there was heavy noise. LG person came and replaced some parts. Later may be after 8 months of purchase again the noise started. Again LG person came and said he can't resolve this problem. This I recorded in their after service, Customer signature papers also. Than I complained again to LG company vide Id No. RNA[protected] on 28/06/12. Surprisingly without attending the problem I received SMS on 03/07/12, saying that thanks for giving opportunity for service and if you are not satisfied reply back. As there was only two options either satisfied or dissatisfied, I replied as dissatisfied and also called the toll free number and told them about this. They again said they will see that problem is solved. They were talking to me, but no body was coming to attend the problem. Again I complained to LG on 13/04/13. I am not satisfied with product and service.

              I agree that man makes mistakes, we need to give one more chance to rectify and learn a lesson not to repeat the episode again but A S Rao Nagar branch, Reliance digital making a nuisance in sending wrong model product and very aggressive in commanding that the product delivery is the same and taking much time to replacing the ordered one. On 11the April'13(ugadi) we ordered a new LG refrigeration, showroom team send the wrong delivery, with the info their commanding that we have order thee same, on explaining and proving that one which is delivery is not there in the display show. sales (Abdul) apologies mistake has been done by the stores and their incharge Karthik, Das promised to replacing the product with a false assurance today night at before 2200hrs. Till now the product is not replaced,WORST, WORST SERVICE.

              Well, most of the people attracted towards the reliance digital, but there problem starts as soon as you bought the product, Because of their service? everyone will BECOME regular customer to the branch not for buying purpose, just to get the response from thee management team it gonna take some more time to finish the work.

              And Sales guy(Abdul), customer care(mounika) Incharge(Karthik) and DAS and very unethical people and ensure the false promise and cheating the customer, Karthik is very arrogant and worst, behaviour is very bad, Das committed false promise in replacing the product, I don't know how much time their gonna take. customer care ensured that the delivery has been started at 1500hrs but till now 1200am(from upl to safilguda) no response.
              Simply careless playing with the customer feelings.worst service, manner less incharge

              fOR THEIR MISTAKEN, MAKING US REGULAR WALK TO THE SHOWROOM.

              staff will crack joke on the complaint people.

              LG — Bad customer care

              Hi,

              I own a LG 29 inch TV. For the past two days the TV is not working, when switched on, a line in the center of the screen appears.
              I had called the customer care yesterday (20th June 2011) in the morning to file a complaint, the person at the customer care center told me that I would get a call from service center within 2 hours and the it would be taken care from there on. I had waited for the call till evening and called the customer care back to find out about the delay, another person at the customer care told me that someone from the service center will call within 24 hours for the problem and also apologized for the wrong information given by his colleague.
              Till now I have not received any call from LG service center. Today in the afternoon I called the customer care again in the afternoon, was told that someone would call soon but in vain, after a long wait I called them back again in the evening to find out and the representative gives me the number of the service center[protected]. I called the service center and nobody responded.
              I own a lot of home appliances of LG, their after sales service seem to be very bad.

              I am also facing the same issue with LG customer support as I logged the complaint few days before and I am yet to get call back.

                  I am Sreejith Nair from Chennai, who lodged a request on 07th Apr for uninstalling and reinstalling the LG AC clearly mentioning as the requirement will be on 12 or 13 Apr.

                  An engineer called me on 9th Apr, to who I explained that the requirement is on 12th Morning, who provided a Supervisor number. I called the supervisor and updated on 10th Apr, 11th Apr and 12the Apr morning about the requirement.

                  I took half day leave which costs me around 3000 Rs and held back at home. Following up with the supervisor every 30 min starting from 09 AM. By 11.50 AM, the supervisor came back to me stating that my service request was cancelled which is more than Atrocious.

                  I called and escalated the issue is customer care and found no avail. This is the second time its happening with me. First LG deceived me by selling a bad AC, now again.
                  ***THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR VALUING THE CUSTOMERS TIME** WE ARE REAL DUMP ***S AND ONLY LG AGENTS ARE SMART***
                  Hope I have to wait for the entire day to get a technician sacrificing my whole days' salary or Find a better retailer who can do this on time and value the customer...

                      me cyril thomas ,buy a washing meshine (w/m lg f 8068ldp ) bw from sg&co . (H O ST GEORGE ROAD&CO TCR). Fathima bulding. SA road .Kadavanthra Ernakulam on 6th april 2013 and they take my(working) washing meshine from my home. today is 12th april morning 9 am the service provider not come yet and they are not taking my phones aswell.i am not beliving on your service i want to refund my product. if you didnt take immediate action i will go to consumer court.

                        Your product has installed to my address on 02nd May’2012.
                        At the time of purchase, Dealer has mentioned about 3 free periodic services for your product but no one has attended after purchase. This is my first disappointment.

                        We registered complaint regarding A/c was nor properly working at 1st Week of March’13 then your technician has attended the fault & stated the reason as “ Gas Leakage in Indoor unit” same has taken to your service station & reinstalled in a few weeks.

                        After the next day of reinstall, we felt the same problem and again we register the complaint on 25th Mar’13 (Complaint ID: RNA[protected] then your technician examine the fault & stated the reason as “Problem exists in both Indoor & Outdoor unit. Again the both unit has taken to your service station & same got installed last week.

                        Please be informed that still we are facing the same problem in your product where I lost reliability on your product and totally disappointed since it is very hot summer.

                        Also note that all my home appliances in office & house are from LG & this is the first time I am facing this issue with your product.

                        Your service department is always focusing on AMC rather than attending the repair properly.

                        Request you to take back your product by replacing with new one since repeated service / complaint is totally worthless in this

                          have bought a LG split air conditioner last march ,after one year getting water leakage in the inner unit . which needs to be rectified

                          i m purchased a LG Split AC of 1.5 ton on 28th April 2009. Lg has provide 3 free services on it. but till date i have not availed any services from the LG.
                          On 7th August 2009 i lodged a complain regarding the likeage of water from the AC, request id is "N9C80703100". they said that the engineer will reach at your home within 48hrs. but till date they have not solved my problem of likeage of water from AC.

                            There is no service center or dealer ready to repair or provide the part and accessories.I have called the customer care center 10 times for booking the Window AC Remote. Each time they assures me of calling back in 24 hours; but no response in even 10 days. each time they assure me of furthering my service request on high priority to their superior. Just promises and nothing else. Such a reputed company with no service. No option to make complain also against LG India on their website. No contact person available.

                              1. my father had puchased one 1.5 ton split AC from ASHIRWAD ELECT. Tilak maidan road, muzaffarpur.
                              2. after pur chase no company rep turned up for a week for installation, purforce we got it installed by local vendor.
                              3. AC in not functioning correctly till date. even complaint lodge to local service centre and also to customer care mumbai. cus care mumbai assured guarnteed service, but still no rep has turned up till date.
                              4. we spoke to LG service center area manager Mr RK Shukla and also given reference and complaint number but he refused to carry out any service and inturn misbehaved also.
                              5. My father is a old aged person(69yrs) and he went to the service centre lot many times but no action has been taken so far.
                              6. even it has been told by the area maneger" do what ever u want to do, I won't provide service. no one can do to me".
                              7. May I once again request you to kindly look into the matter and resolve it. It is to inform you that The LG dealer is just defaming the brand name and reputation o[censored]r company. and i can assure u we will never recommend any one to buy ur product since service o[censored]r company is pathetic.
                              8. My old aged father is being mentally, financially and physically harassed by the LG company and its dealer & service centre staffs.

                              LG SPLIT UNIT — CLOSE UR SERVICE CENTER

                              this is very bad to complaint you for little little problem's.acctualy b4 yesterday my office unit not giving proper cooling.so i file complaint.today a person came and fill some Gas and i pay them.after half en hour the AC not give's such a proper cooling.then i again ask to costumer care(GWALIOR) on this number 2430919.there are some Muslim name guy pic the phone>>> NO GAURANTEE OF COOLING AFTER FILLING THE GAS.I MEAN TO SAY HE ANSWER SO ROUDLY.>>>NOW U TOLD ME WHAT I DO.I DONT KNOW HOW UR COMPANY GIVE'S SERVICE CENTRE'S TO THESE TYPE OF ILLITRATED PEOPLE'S.SHAME O[censored]R SERVICE CENTRE'S.

                              LG Split AC — Unnecessary harassement-

                              The service men from LG Company came twice to our place and on the first visit said the stabalizer is not working properly. we got it fixed up and he took Rs 450/- just to touch the AC. On the second visit the Service men did cleaning and said it will work now. irritated of the situation we called a local person to fix the AC. he checked and said the compresser is not working properly. we called the service men and told him to fix the problem. And he started using abusive language and said he will not be fixxing the AC as it is tampered.the Ac was not tampered but was checked. we use a lot of products of LG but have never faced such an issue. I personally believe being loyal to LG is costing me unnecessary harrasement. I will not recomend LG to anyone.
                              i comletely agree. after sales service is poor because it is taken care by franchisees. even registering complaints in their web sites did not receive any attention.

                                My name is Pramod Gubbi. I have purchased LG 55 inch 3D television from "My electronics" shop in Mysore on 25/01/2013. I was promised that the gift (LG home theatre system 806) would be delivered to me within 20-25 days as a part of the Republic Day offer. To this day I have not received it. I have made numerous calls to the My Electronics shop manager in kuvempunagar in Mysore. He keeps on promising a new date, blaming on non- availability of the gift.

                                  Bought a 1 ton split AC from LG showroom, CityCenter 1, SaltLake, kolkata on Mar 29th. They delivered the package the next day. Then service men came the next day and were not able to install. They mentioned to replace it with Window AC. Contacted the shop and they said since financial year end, cant do anything till Apr 3rd. so, I visited the shop on Apr 4th and asked, they said they don't have that model. They will contact me when they get it in-stock. Later, I decided to install that split AC and asked the shop to send the Servicemen.
                                  The shop did not do anything.. I waited 2 days and then made a call to LG customercare. They gave me a RNA number and later a different Servicemen came, They opened the package and then said they have to get some bamboo support . They did not come again. After 10 days I contacted a local Technician and paid Rs. 5500/- and getting it installed.

                                  Can I file a claim for negligence and not providing service for a brandnew product ?

                                  LG Split AC — Not Providing Service

                                  I have purchased LG Split AC 2 weeks back. Installation was done on 23 April 2010. Now I have called 5 times LG cutome Care for free Demo. They are promising everytime for 24 hours but service is not yet provided.
                                  I dont have any option now. My communication Id with LG is C[protected].
                                  If I ask customer care executive to transfer my call to Manager or any other high level officer they refuse everytime.

                                  I dn't know what do do now. I want to register a complain against LG.

                                  LG — Service not done

                                  I have got a LG Microwave which was not working, then I contacted the distributor and got a service person number. When I called the service person for attending the call itself and coming to my home he took one week's time. When he came he didnt even had proper tools to open the microwave. After inspecting the microwave he told me that the Magnetron need to be replaced and it will cost more than Rs.2300. So I told him I have to discuss this with family and will let him know about this. He just left the microwave even without closing it with the nuts he removed. I called him again and informed him to replace the old Magnetron with new one. For the past 4 months I am calling him again and again and always his reply will be Magnetron stock is not there or he is busy today so he will come tomorrow and fix it. But the tomorrow never came. Since I am a working women me and my children depend lot on microwave for cooking. I have explained it so many times to him, but he doesnt bother. I could not get any other contact for LG services also. I need this to be fixed immediately. The service person name is : Chidanand and his contact no. is: [protected].

                                  LG — Installation of ac

                                  I brought an LG ac from E zone NOIDA. Even after five days no one came to install the AC.
                                  I am fed up with calling LG customer care number.

                                  Now it has been 5 days, calling the customer care of LG and no results. Now every day
                                  I am calling them at least 2 times. I have tried all means , writing mails , registering online
                                  on their so called "online complain system" and of course calling their zonal office at Ghaziabad.

                                  I purchased LG, as friends told that their service is good. The complain no is : rna[protected]

                                  God knows when will these companies stop harassing customers !!

                                  LG Electronics — AC Service Not Being Done

                                  I had Purchased a 1.5 Ton Split AC of from LG Electronics and on 29th April 11 i had request for a service issue where my AC was not cooling and also there was water dripping from the AC Unit the complaint number was Service Request No RNA[protected]. With the constant follow up with the LG Customer Care and through mails i have following them up for past 8 days and i just keep getting assurance after assurance that i would be taken care of within 24 hrs and yet my problem remains unsolved.This is quality of after sales service that we as customers have to recieve once the product has been sold to us. If required i have all the mails in regard to issue that i have marked to LG, if required i can furnish all that also.
                                  Thanks a lot for writing such apologizes. I have heard it 5-6 times from your customer care and
                                  at least 3 mails which I got from LG service department.

                                  After so much of frustration, On the 7th day, I called a local guy, gave him 600 bucks and
                                  got the AC installed. The time between calling the guy and installation was less than 1 hour.

                                  It would be great if instead of putting so many people in customer care for writing such apologizes,
                                  LG would put some more people in service department and STOP harassing its customers.

                                  I will definitely think twice before buying LG products.

Also who will compensate for the 8 days of harassment i had to face while dealing with u people. and finally i had not choice left but to get a local mechanic to repair the AC and he also overcharged me seeing my plight, and all thanks to your inability to do an after sales service. Just to inform u that we are your corporate clients also and i will make sure that i pass on the words to our head office in the regards to the pathetic quality of after sales service that u deliver. And also going forward i will also will not be recommend LG products to anyone in the future.

                                    My refrigerator fan was making sound in month of february 2013 so i lodged first compliant against LG on 3 march & the company engineer visited & replaced the timer. but the problem didinot solve hence i again lodged complaint & the next time another engineer visited & replaced another part on the back side of freezer..again the problem of defrost persists. then the engineer visited again & said that the timer which they have changed on 3 march 2013 was defected piece so he gain changed the timer ...the problem still is unsolved..and now my wellcooling refrigerator has completely stopped cooling & after the third complaint the engineer visited & said that the compressor needs to be replaced and gas need to be filled,now it is ten days that the service engineer has disconnected the compressor form the fridge & it is completely shut. Today on 8 april i have filled compalint no RNA[protected] for immediate replacement of compressor(which comes under warranty period) I want my refrigerator compressor to be replaced immediately since it is over & above my patience....I am very much disappointed with the LG repairs service....

                                    LG Refrigerator — Clarification

                                    IN your model no368ymqg4, it is mentioned in the spec that "No stabiliser working" not applicable.Pl.clarfy the need of a stab.

                                    LG Refrigerator — no cooling, gas and compressor replaced still no effect

                                    My refrigritor was not cooling, complaint was launched, first gas was replaced, later on there was no effect hence compressor as changed .

                                    When enver i call up customer care . i have been told to wait and call is put on hold by upen and meena three times today.

                                    This complaint is pending since 18th april and is still usolved, we cannot get it repared as compressor warrenty will go off.
