I had bought a refrigerator worth 58,000-//- Model No GC-B217BPJV on 14th Jan, 2012. Since then i faced problems in the refrigerator i called customer service many times , many parts were changed too but still problem of ice forming in fridge still remains, now my 1 year of free service is to expire and additional i was told will be for 3500 PLus for a year. I want my Unit to be changed by the company and proper working of it should be guaranteed. Or company should send some senior person to see the problem in my unit and extend my warranty free of cost. Customer service refuses to give me contact no of senior officials & people they send somehow i believe not able to understand the problem in unit. LG has outsourced serivces to local vendors and they are tricking me to buy additional warranty.

    Hello sir,
    I have bought a LG 42'' TV from dahod.Gujarat. I am very unsatisfied with your customer support and haven't got a proper installation with a new product.Inspite of calling many times the problem is same and I have called customer care several times and complaint no is:-RNA[protected].but no one is there to help us. The service center person from godhra are talking very rudely and not responding to customers.and he is misbehaving with customers.
    Its our humble request to see at our problem and get is resolved as soon as possible.

      Hi,

      I have been trying to get a washing machine replaced, because it was delivered with a dent. But its been two weeks and all i get is:
      - Customer Care always say they will call back in 24 hour, they never do
      - Area Manager Pooja Mathur never picks up call? This is the worst manager I have ever came across
      - Other Executive's keep giving false promises, that problem will be solved in a day or two.

      The problem is still not resolved and problem number is : RNA[protected]..

      I purchased LG Top Loading Washing machine in month of June 2014. within a
      6 months Washing Machine Gearbox went under maintenance.


      By looking LG as a Multinational brand I selected LG washing machine and
      purchased it by shortlisting all other brand. but Now I really got surprise
      when such a multinational branded product went under maintenance within 6
      months. Gear box is a Heart of Washing machine and complete function depends on
      the same. I contacted service center but they are doing replacement of gearbox,
      for which I am not at all interested (Complaint no. - RNA[protected].


      I need complete machine replacement
      because of machine main part ( Gear Box) went under maintenance. there is vast
      difference in company fitting and repairing.


      I already logged complaint on LG Portal and mail ID ([protected]@lge.com). but there were no
      response on the same. Local Service center is not responding for machine
      replacement and telling me to get gearbox replacement.


      I pissed off with LG Service center. No buddy bothered to
      give reply / answer on mail.


      if this is the case then why LG Created this mail ID? from
      last 20 Days I am continuously chasing with Customer care / Service center to
      get replacement of my faulty Washing machine. but no one is responding
      properly, even not clarifying on the mail. My demand is genuine case.


      machine went under break down condition due to gear box
      within a six month is not a normal/ regular complain.


      If LG think this is the normal case then why they wont
      provide reply on mail with clarification? Why my mail is getting escalate to
      HO? Why Mr. Vaibhav is not able to answer my calls? Why escalation Team provide
      mail confirmation on behalf of LG on my replacement query? why it took more than
      12 days to resolve issue (still not received resolution on mail with
      clarification)?


      Is this much data is not enough to raise a complain in
      Consumer court, from 11th Dec. machine went under break down condition and
      still it is in same condition. LG is not bothered to resolve customers issues
      and with out any resolution / customer confirmation closing service calls?


      Customer care sending me to service center and service
      center not ready to listen anything and diverting us to customer care.

        I have already made a complaint in writing as there was no proper response vide my letter dated[protected] but I find no response to the same despite of the fact that there were complaints about defective working of my 42" LG LED TV - LG prior to the expiry of one year from purchase, so called warranty period. Now both [Vijay Sales and LG] are not selling any of the products of LG may be problem with their products or some ting else. But it is affecting customer like me. Numerous calls and complaints by mail have been sent but till to day there is no response. Due to the defective function and total failure of the TV I have asked for replacement of the TV.

        If necessary I can sent entire correspondence [through e-mail] to the forum to understand the issue.

          Sub : Defective W/Machine supplied after receiving full amount ( Rs 37,700/-)

          I purchased a LG FRONT LOADING washing machine vide order no BG 1032 dated 22.12.2012 of cost Rs 37,700/-( Sl no : 204PNYU61842 ).
          Unfortunately, the machine supplied was defective as was found during installation by LG personnel & the dealer 'LG Shoppe' situated at Syed Amir Ali Avenue in Kolkata immediately replied in favour of a 'RESUPPLY'. As the machine was not even installed hence the invoice agreement of 'supplying a new & workable machine on receiving full payment' does not hold good unless another new & healthy machine is re supplied. I need a re supply preferably by Saturday(29.12.2012). If that is not possible please give me further option of full money refund within a week.
          If re supplying needs more time because of lack of supply then you can give me a compatible machine for use till the re supply is not getting possible. However, that can not be continued beyond a fortnight.
          Remember, I paid full amount & you could not supply me a new & workable machine as per invoice contract which is direct violation of consumer right.
          I am waiting for your reply at the earliest.

          LG Washing Machine — Defective washing machine

          Dear Sirs/Madam,

          Complaint of LG WASHING MACHINE



          I had purchased LG washing machine few months back. Since last four months I have given complaint for lots of noise while drying. Two times they sent mechanic and they say that it is ok. 20 feet away at the entrance my neighbour can hear the noise of the machine but one foot near the washing machine this mechanic can not hear the noise and says it is ok.



          I have many times requested them to refund my Rs.15000, but they are not ready to cooperate.



          I request you to help me to get refund.

          Vedeocon Washing Washing Machine — Defective machine supplied

          I purchased a wahing machine of vidiocon (7 KG) Sr. no 5601 on 14.01.10 from M/S Uttaranchal Electronics, Mahalaxmi Garden Khora Colony, Gaziabad, Thekewali Gali.
          The machine supplied to me at my residence- 148-C, Pkt-6, was found to be defective and broken. i made a complaint immediately with complain no DEL- [protected] dated15-1-10 and another complaint no. DEL[protected] dated 23.1.10.
          But no action has been yet taken by the company to replace the defective machine .
          My earlier complaint regarding Videocon washing machine ppurchaed by me on the 14th jan.2010 at Khora colony, distt. Gaziabad (UP)
          My residencial address is- 148-C, Pkt-6, Mayur Vihar-III, Delhi-110096.
          I mentally depressed and dissapoointed. Please help me to get a new machine.

          Your Service Engineer came today ie 16.04.11 to my residence at Rajula, He says after this parts put also RAJULAPRESSOR SWITCH PENDING, , , 6600FA1704B, , , POA[protected] machine is not working.
          Service Engineer recommended to bring LG washing machine from Rajula to Bhav Nagar, ie around 140 kilo meter distance, how I will bring there. I think your service Engineer not properly checked by Washing machine.

          After Warranty period onwards My LG washing machine not working. My washing machine purchased on 01.12.2008 after warranty period just 20 days after My LG washing was breakdown.
          Your service enginner 1st repaired my washing on 18.12.2010,

          Now again 2nd time machine is repaired on 04.04.2011. Your representative came on 05.04.11 he says parts required I will bring again. He came by today he says bring LG washing at Bhav Nagar my residence to that place is around 140 km. I have to hire vehicle to bring to Bhav Nagar, transportation cost Rs. 7000/- I have to spend for washing machine repair.

          Sir, Kindly confirm whether you can repair it or not, I will take final decision because” Your LG washing machine made for only 2 years working condition after words machine may or may not work. This is for quality of LG. I can say present market condition LG is no.1 Product if customer goes against LG product, you can count your business, what will happen imagine.

          Kindly solve my LG washing machine as early as possible, because this is your Company Imagine & prestige issue.

            LG AMC Complaint:
            I bought LG Washing machine (Front load) with 10 years warrantee on motor. I am quite happy with the product, but during installation and demo time just after purchase, the service man convinced me to buy AMC for washing machine maintenance by telling all lies that after 6 months drum will get dirty and it would not wash. Now it is more than a year and i also verified from showroom, these were all big LIES. He told me that every 3 months customer care will call you and somebody will come for maintenance. More than 1 year gone, and they never called me for maintenance. As I paid around Rs. 5300 for 4+2 years AMC maintenance, I really regret my decision. I checked this from showroom, they told me that the service man gets FAT commission for these AMC so they try to convince. Also showroom guy told that there is not much required for these front load washing machine maintenance, I just need one liquid to clean drums.
            After this, I have outright rejected proposal from these service man for taking these kind of LG AMC for my Air Conditioner. So please never go for these AMC. For GOD shake. I hate it left right and center….Offcourse LG products are good. I have Fridge, MicroOven, AC all LG. BUT AMC SUCKs.

            LG — charged extra amount of amc

            dear sir,i have a lg lcd tv of26",i called service center for amc form. i complained on 24/05/2011 & request id is,rna[protected].a person of lg call me n asked that form is n't availavle.then 05/06/2011 a lg staff came to my house n fill a form of amc n take a cheq of 3310 rupees. after two days i called servicecenter about this matter,they asked me that amount of two yrs lcd26" is 2980.i shokked tht how it will be...plz solve it....when i called repeat on022,65790731,they hold on phone ....i think L.G is a very bad company.its logo s life good but when we buy product our life go bad.go bad.go bad.....i will nt suggest any person to buy a l.g .product..company never think about customer sevice,,,it think only sell . i was a foolish man that buy this lcd

                Hello Team..

                It was my worst mistake in the life that I have purchased the washing machine on 9 Jan 2012. I was out of country for 6 months, so I just used the machine for 4-6 months.

                I registered 10-15 complaints to customer care for the same issue and did not get resolved the issue till yet. The machine is in your service center as of now and they are not able to identify the correct reason for the issue and contiune to make me fool, so that I will get this machine back from service center.

                I just let you know that I will not take this machine back now, as I am totally fed up now and I just want the refund of this washing machine. I am not in a position now to suggest anyone to purchase any LG product.

                I am also going for consumer court as I am not getting any satisfactory response from service center side.

                Best part is:
                Even on one complaint (RNA[protected], your service enginer update the status that the product is not under warranty and customer denay to pay the fee. But the relaity is that the product is having the warranty one more year.

                  I was purchased washing machine model no F 8068 NDP on 20 12 2012, after repeated calls to the so called customer service nearly 10 times, the engineer visited for demo and informed that the PCB of this machine is faulty, hence it will not work. I request the company to exchange the machine at earliest, why i keep the repaired machine if i paid for a new.
                  I bought an LG washing machine 2 months ago. The door was found to be leaking water. I made a complaint to LG and thankfully they promised to refund the amount as they don't have another similar model. Now we'll have to again go through the same process of selecting a new machine and wasting at least half day. This is third instance when someone in our family has experienced problems with LG product (once with fridge and twice with different washine machines). Not only this but LG products don't even meet the promised features (like reduced noise etc).
                  I've also used a lot of Samsung product and must say they are far superior to LG in terms of technical superiority.

                    I had purchased LG refrigerator model GL-308VE4a under Invoice No.289 dated 13/12/2012 franchisee M/s Onkar Enterprises, Plot No. 33, Kirti Nagar, New Sanganer Road, Jaipur. Fridge is not cooling at all therefore I had lodged the complaint yesterday with Mr. Lucky and he assured me to get the complainted attended todayand gave me the mobile no. of Mr. Mahendra who is going to attend the same. I had talked with Mr. Mahendra as well as other staff of your franchise but no avail. Mr. Mahendra is not picking phone despite of lot many times I tried.

                    It shows deteriorate customer service which I never expect. If I would have come to know such deteriorate services, I would have never purchase from them.

                      This is further to below mail, it almost 1.5 months after complaints on LG brand Refrigerator- your service engineer?? has visited 4 times and changed some parts on payable (~Rs. 1700/-) basis for which he given bill of some items and some item not?????? But the ultimate result is that- Still my refrigerator is not working.

                      This is the height of 3rd class service from such reputed company. Unbelievable !!!!

                      Your toll free number does not have the curtsey to take the matter seriously.

                      So once again requesting you to please take the matter seriously and resolve the issue. If still the product is not by your company, some mutual understanding has to be done.
                      Other wise I don't have the option but to go with consumer forum. This mail you can consider as intimation for the same.

                        Replacement of broken door handle
                        The handle of my refrigerator Model GL 365 DMQ steel grey colour has broken.this refrigerator was purchased in 2007.the complaints were filed two months before.
                        Nothing has been done so far. The local service centre has told that the part is not available hence nothing can be done.Without replacement of handle my refrigerator which is only 5 years old has become useless.Kindly do the needful.

                          LG 21 inch CTV — rainbow video & bad service

                          In City like SHIMLA, very bad customer care after sales service. I
                          bought a LG Ctv more than one year back. Three week before there is rainbow colour apperance on screne and complaint has been lodged in local office. Till now its not solved and response from the LG has been very bad.
                          On calling LG customer service we have been given many complaint numbers and many names and numbers of their personnel in shimla and chandigarh but nothing is done.

                            Dear Sir,

                            Am yet to receive the diwali offer gifts of Blu Ray DVD Player and Three 3D movie titles against my purchase of 47-LED-LM6690 on 10th Nov 2012 from your authorised retailer S.C.Shah & Co. Pvt. Ltd, Mylaopore. TV was delivered to me on 14th Nov 2012.

                            When I had contacted your retailer on 28th Nov 2012, I was informed that am not entitled to Blu ray player since it got adjusted in the price and further arguing with retailer, they even told there is no blue ray player against this model. On 29th Nov 2012, I had visited your retailer again and asked them to give me in writing in their letter head stating that they had made price adjustment against the offer floated by LG, but they refused to.

                            This is to inform you that at the time of purchase, I did not involve in price negotiation with your retailer against the offer floated by LG.

                            Do your authorised retailers have right to adjust price in the offer floated by LG ? If they are adjusting, are they producing LG, a copy of form where we customers acknowledging the price deduction against the offer floated by LG ? How can dealer say No blue ray player against this model, when LG had put up an open advertisement in news papers?

                            I feel cheated with this LG offer by your authorised retailer.Humble request to LG to ensure that the customer gets what was promised of the offers floated.

                            As per your offer, I had received only 4 nos 3D glasses along with TV. We are yet to recieve "Three 3d MovieTitles" and the "3D Blu Ray player".

                            I had written mails and calls to LG customer care about this to help me out. Till date am not getting any positive update on the same.

                              This is Sanjeev choudhary from Delhi. I had bought a double door refrigerator from LG store here yamuna vihar on 2011 for my House.
                              suddenly in august 2012, it stopped working and after a 15 days of calling the service centre frequently, the service people came on sep 2012 and put some gas in it and charged me Rs, 1450, and said it will work in a couple of days… but nothing happened. I called the service people again and they asked me to the compressor is not working and compressor will change and give me quote for gas and compressor around Rs.5300.00.i have call to miss anju(custome Care manager) for repair of my refregetor but she conact me with local repair center and his rpresentative reply that you was filled gas out off LG Representative.so that Rs.5300 will charge. please help me.

                              LG Appliances — Compressor/Motor not working

                              Compressor/ Motor not working
                              Complaint No:- N9C5150864 dated 15/05/2009.

                              This AC is just 10 days old and the compressor works for 5-10 minutes and then stops for 30-45 minutes. After complaint was booked the service engineer visited and checked the cooling to say that all is fine.

                              Complaint No:- N9C51900624 dated 19/05/2009.

                              The AC did not start. The compressor and the motor was shut. The engineer visited and said that the Motor needs to be repaired.

                              As I was not in favour of repair called up the dealer, who refused to replace the Unit.
                              Another call to the Customer care and another complaint No:- N9C52003888, they still insisted for repair.


                              Such a reputed company and not reliable appliances.
                              Further the Customer care is pathetic. They dont understand the plight of the customers and they dont know the ABC of Customer service.
                              LG- SHOULD BE LIFE IS NO GOOD!, OUR LESS THAN 2 YEAR OLD DISHWASHER HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR ALMOST THREE WEEKS. WE HAVE CALLED THE REPAIR CENTER BUT THEY DON'T ANSWER NOR DO THEY CALL BACK. MACHINE DOES NOT DRAIN, CIRCUIT BOARD IS BAD AND THE REPAIR MAN INFORMED US THAT MOST OF THE SEALS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. SO MUCH FOR HIGH END APPLIANCE. HOME DEPOT SO FAR HAS FOUND THE SAME PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY CAN'T TALK TO ANYONE AT THE REPAIR CENTER. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER FOR LG IS NOTHING MORE THAN A REFERRAL SERVICE PLUS THEY ARE IN SOME FOREIGN COUNTRY WHERE ENGLISH IS NOT THEIR FIRST LANGUAGE! DON'T BUY LG AS WE DID ON THE ADVISE OF THE SALES PEOPLE WHO SAID THEY ARE GREAT A PRODUCTS!

                                i have bought an LG front load washing machine worth 33k 1 month back. The demo for the same is still pending. The height of annoyance is that i have been following up since last 15 days for registering the demo. And all the customer care guys do is "we'll send a reminder call". The technician never called me back for the demo. We have also registered 2 complaints...but all in .vain.

                                The service center that is Shree electronics never picks up the phone nor does the customer care manager.

                                There is no option left for me.

                                  I am using LG washing machine WP9256 from last 3 years, there was one small breakage in washing tub and i have logged the call with LG support center using support reference number rna[protected] dated 28/11/2012. After continuous followup with service team my washing machine delivered to my home on 10th of Dec'12. As my product have only body breakage problem , body of the LG machine got changed. For this change i have paid Rs 3711. I have checked the washing machine in next 30 minutes and find that there is lots of noise and its spin tub is not working . I have again talked to the LG service desk on same day in maximum 1 hr interval with call reference number rna[protected]. LG team has visited and saying that the motor of the washing machine faulty. It gave me big surprise , how come this part of body got faulty without any usage after repair. I am trying to convince LG service people but they are not ready to accept this gap and ask for new repair charge for this replacement .
                                  I need immediate attention from your and provide me necessary support on this resolution. All these delays is creating big trouble for me and service team is mentally harassed me on the support part.
                                  Looking for your kind suppot on this.

                                  LG Electronics — Cheating/Misguide

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I bought a LG LCD TV model no. 32LG80UR from your dealer M/s. Electronic Paradise (North), Pitam Pura Delhi on 1-2-2009 vide Invoice No. R030357 and the TV was delivered at 7pm and installed at 8pm at my residence.

                                  I have seen the advertisement in TIMES OF INDIA on 8-2-2009 and I am noticed that there is a scheme on this model to get a DVD player with 50 movies DVD free from 1st Feb to 14 Feb., 2009. When I enquire from the dealer about this, he is saying there is an extra payment required for DVD player. I am shocked that in the advertisement no where is mentioned that the customer has to pay extra for that more over at the time of purchase dealer does not inform us about the scheme. If the payment is extra then why the dealer gives me 50 movies DVD free.

                                  I have lodged a complaint over phone in your customer care they give me a complaint reference N[protected] Dated 8-2-2009 and they had given me a phone of Mr. Sunil Kumar Branch officer [protected]. I have called up so many times but he is not picking up the phone. With reference to my letter dated 14.3.09,

                                  After 15-20 days I received a call from Mr. Abhinav from LG office. He is saying the same word which was saying by the dealer, that if you want DVD PLAYER you have to pay Rs. 2800/- apart the TV payment which we have to pay at the time of delivery. I failed to understand no where in the advertisement is mentioned any price of the TV and DVD player, then why the dealer and LG staff is asking more money for DVD player.

                                  I can not understand that, at the time of purchase we can not bargain for any discount from the dealer and dealer also not informing us about the scheme, which ever price dealer demand we can pay the price. Even we ask the dealer that we don’t want this DVD pack, you can reduce the DVD pack price from our TV price but dealer refused and saying that this is a offer from the company then why he is not giving me a DVD Player this is also from company.

                                  I think the companies like LG are making a fool or want to cheat the customer by giving this type of advertisement in the news paper.

                                  Kindly suggest me what type of legal action I can take up against the company.

                                    I bought one LG refrigerator on 29th August, 2012 (Model GL-305VS4/2012).

                                    Recently I noticed one bump in the body which definitely is not man made. I am attaching the photo herewith. It seems the adhesive has come off due to difference in temperature with the arrival of winter. It is not a dent which is generally caused by hitting with something but its a bump which can not be created by us.

                                    I lodged a complaint with service desk on 27th Nov (RNA[protected]. The outcome was very disappointing. The representative was confused and his superiors we blatantly telling "customer is lying, don't bother".

                                    They even refused to provide the assessment in writing so that I can take it up with appropriate forum. However they refused to do anything about it.

                                    I am very disappointed with the service, attitude, behavior. Moreover I am disappointed that my new refrigerator is not looking good anymore with this bump.

                                    I urge you to do something about it urgently. I have packed my home with LG appliances with the assumption that your service is very good but now with this experience, I have to think twice before I buy any LG appliances.

                                      This is Rohit Prakash, working with a Govt. of India enterprise posted at Siliguri Dist. Darjeeling. I had purchased a LG 42 inch 3D Plasma TV “42PW450” on 30.07.2011 from E-Zone, Siliguri. On 28.09.2012 evening, this LG TV stuck in standby mode and it wont turn on. When I again plugged in after removing D2H HDMI cable, the same thing happened i.e. the red light is on, click the power button on the remote or on the tv, and there is a click, the red light goes off, and within a second, another click, and then the red light comes back on. Problem was reported in LG Support and then I came to know that my product is out of warranty. Anyway my Complain number is RNA[protected] and till date it is not get repaired. Service Engineer from LG came on 29.09.2012 and find that two Boards of this TV have some problem so they have to replace these two board estimating about Rs.3500/- approx. They order for the same and on 12.10.2012, he came with those board and replace the same but it wont work. Now, he said that I have to bring this TV to LG Siliguri Service Centre because it seems that Flat Panel or logic board has some problem which is too costly items. I am residing in a HIG Flat with proper earthing, no voltage fluctuation and also there was no thundering takes place in that period of time then how it was happen. On warranty, I did some reading and found that the law is actually vague in that it says the product should last a reasonable time and that is open to interpretation, so dont take no for an answer from the company because a reasonable time may be 10 years for a product like a TV. Now on 05.12.2012, I finally came to know that it is flat panel which is faulty without any reason and it cost around 17,857/- + service charges without AMC. In my view, It seems that TV has manufacturing defect, so my question is
                                      (1) Why was my TV panel last only 1yr 2 month whereas company claims in the advertisement that this type of panel last for 100,000 hrs?
                                      (2) Company like LG India has to take responsibility for high value electronics after warranty for reasonable time?
                                      It is highly time consuming thus harassing mentally as well. Considering above facts, Company policy, mental harassment, monetary loss etc I think that I had made biggest mistake of my life by choosing LG. Me and my family are very disturbed for such a big amount for repairing a TV. Since last 70 days I am continuously follow up the matter via phone and email. LG India Official did'nt take any responsibility at all. Therefore you are requested to pursue the matter at the earliest possible.

                                      lg care and service center people are not giving me any ans and i not recieved any feed back call from lg care.

                                        I bought LG Split AC 1.5 Ton 3 Star in Rathina Cools Pvt Ltd No.36/1, Rajabather Street, T.Nagar,chennai - 600017 last January 05/01/2012. Last week (18/11/2012) i called LG Customer Care ([protected]) for 2nd Free Service, they told me that they will send the Service Engineer within 48hrs, my Customer Complaint (RNA[protected] yet now i did not get any response from LG Customer Care, Once again i remind the Customer Care on 22/11/2012 regarding my Split AC service they did not responded properly. Worst Service from LG service centre. Please take back your worst product. i recommend everyone not to buy LG Split AC because of their Poor Response & Service.

                                        LG Split Air Conditioner — Poor service by the Local dealer

                                        Dear Sir

                                        Last year I purchased LG Split Air condition of your dealer in Tiruchirapplli. After purchase, they fail to do free service and come to check the air condition. Once when I am went overseas time, my father book the complaints to the local dealer for the checkup when switch on air con, water coming inside of the window. That time product have warranty period, This problem in air con is due to not properly instal the tube line out let. For complete the service the collect from my father 700/- . I cann't understand when it is warranty period is there. Why the local of your dealer is collection money for the customer. This is not nice do the service in this manner. Now I have problem in air con that filter to be immediately. After several phone to the local dealer in Tirucharappalli ALV Trader. I hope this complaint lodging to you take necessary step of action to take the concern dealer and give feedback what necessary action take for it. I need why there is service charges collect from customer during period of warranty. Provke this matter immediately
