Dear sir,
This is to inform you that i have a double door LG refrigerator model no.GL-B217BTJ- which suddenly stopped working. After i complained in the company, a technician came to check it on 7th of September, 2012. He said that the circuit was not working and he will come the next day to change it. Since he did not come back and gave no feedback , i called again in the company to find out that was when i was informed that it will take another 3 to 4 days as the parts were not available at that moment.
After ten days another technician came and said the compressor is not working, High Ampere and will have to fill in the gas.
After two more days the third technician came and said that the cooling coil is not working along with the compressor.
On 25th of September,2012, i got a call in the morning from LG company saying that since their technicians have been sent many times and have not been able to solve the problem so he would send a van to get the machine collected from my house and get repaired at their workshop to which i agreed immediately.
Since no one came the whole day,i called them up at 5 pm, i was told that their pick up man refused to come to my house to collect the machine due to which they did not send anyone.
After lot of discussion with the person in charge at the service center, he admitted this particular refrigerator might be defective. I am totally convinced by now that have been given a defective piece or the model of this kind is defective. If this is the way they are handling my problem when my fridge is new ,i wonder what will happen later. I request you to kindly replace my defective refrigerator with a new one.
I am very unhappy and disappointed with the service of such a reputed company. I do not get any feedbacks. Everytime a new technician comes with a new problem and does not even solve it. One of the so called technicians also had the audacity to ask me if he should fit in all the parts of the fridge back that he has opened or he should leave it all uninstalled. All my perishable stuff that i had stored in the defreezer has obviously become rotten. I am truely unsatisfied and have made a big mistake in trusting in your company and buying such an expensive product.
I request you to look into the matter as soon as possible as it has already been 20days, my problem is unsolved.

LG India/ Refrigerator — Service
Hello Sir/Madam,I booked a complaint with LG regarding my Refrigerator on 14 July & it was said to me that with in 24 hours I would have call from Service Engineer & with in a 2-3 minute a sms with service booking no will be sent to me. I kept on waiting till 16 July & when I called LG customer care they told me that there were no complaint lodged in system, it can be drawn from my phone record that call was around 25 minutes long. I left all the argue & asked them to booked a complaint again on 16 July & I asked the service no right away on call, they gave me that. I had requested them to instruct their service engineer to give me a call before visitng my home so that I can make sure to be at home. But after chasing them yesterday when I was in office around 1:00 PM I got the call from their service Engineer that he is in-front of my home & when i asked him why did not he gave me a call he did not answer me, I requested him to come in evening at 6:00 PM & I will be there he told me that another engineer will come tomorrow be at home. I booked a complaint on 16 July & now sitting on 20 July & chasing & requesting their service guy for service.
Please look in to this & do the needful as in this scorching summer you can understand the need of refrigerator.
