Myself Dhiraj, had purchased a Refrigerator model no: GL-278VA4 on 08th July, 2010 from Big Bazaar, Netaji Subhash Palace, Delhi. We got, Refrigerator was faulty and it can’t able to cool. I had informed Mr. Manish at Big Bazaar and he suggested me to call LG customer care, I have done and registered a complain at[protected] on 09th july, 2010.

A technician was sent from the company who visited my place and filled gas. He assured me that my refrigerator will work fine. But this was a fake commitment.

Please note that Refrigerator stop cooling anytime for 2-3 hrs.

I have got fully non-cooling problem on 17th Sep, 2012. I had registered a complain next day. A technician Mr. Saukat (m: [protected]) was sent from “We Care” who visited and found there was some problem with gas flow. He has charged INR 1350/= for gas filling. A gas filler Mr. Sunil (m: [protected]) came to my place after 2 days. He finished his job and assured me that my refrigerator will work fine. But with in 2 Days.. my problem still alive.

I had complained again. They visited after 3-4 days and filled gas again. But all this go in vein. I am still suffering with same problem. Mr. Saukat told me that their is some internal manufacturing problem with refrigerator.

I have got a call from Mr. Jitesh (mob: [protected]), who had told me that he is calling from LG, had informed me that I have a option of replacement this refrigerator but I have to pay 40% of total cost and also that gas filling charges which he had charged was non-refundable.

I had already mailed/called so many times customer care[protected], We-Care and Mrs. Pandey. But they have no answer.

Some registered complaint numbers are: RNA[protected], RNA[protected], RNA[protected].

If my refrigerator was faulty with manufacturing defect then why I should pay for it. Also if gas filling was not the solution than why I have to pay for same. They had already charged me but nothing to solve my problem. I have a faulty/stopped refrigerator with a very bad odour in my house.
Please note that, I am a asthmatic patient.

LG — Irresponsible Srvice

I have a complaint registered on 25th May (ID : W9C[protected]. regardin TV malfunction.
Unfortunately i, nspite of calling customer care a number of times, there has been no response from LG service.
I would like to know if this is the level of service i can expect from LG in future also, forcing me not to buy or recommend LG products.
My washing is front door loading one. For small problem yuor service engineer came & suggested to cange the bearing &servicing. they got it done at their servicing center after that machines viberation and noise is un berable.now no body is comming to see after giving phone call. kindly look into the matter.
I fully agree with Mr sinha. I too am in same soup having been wrongly advised to take AMC. I lodged a complaint with service centre on22 sep 09 for a washing machine fault, I have been ringing therafter and speaking to all & sundry including hi fi pr managers, but they just dont move. they need to be accountable as They give false assurance of reverting within 24 hrs. poor customer wonders whom are they servicing?

LG Electronics — Irresponsible customer Service

Dear Sir/ Madam
I bought an LG LCD 32" TV 3 months back, and recently around 10 days back something went wrong with the TV. The LG technician who came to inspect the TV had no idea what was the issue. He later consulted with the service center and told that there was somethning wrong with the control panel and that the whole part needs to be changed. For the part to arrive from Noida it would take 10 working days (I am wondering why it should take 10 days for a part to be couriered while we know know that international shipment takes only over 3 to 4 days). Anyways the service center offerd to give a stand by TV until my TV was repaired. Now, when this standby TV that arrived was a 1942 model, was broken with no remote and the technician didnt even know how to fix it. I was given the reference no as : RNA[protected].

Request you to take due action for the inconvenience that was caused to me and my family

We have purchased LG Single Door Refrigerator (215 ltr ) in May 2012. Within this 7th days its started foul smelling badly like and now it became totally inoperative.We have registered the complaint and the technicians came. Again we contacted the service centre The technician came and reported that this problem is due to the non-functioning .We need replacement , Till date not received any response from the service centre. If they don't have enough stock, we suggest to replace the same or another model . Request you to kindly do the needful at the earliest.

LG India refund department has informed me that there is only 2 years of warranty on their refrigerator's compressor. I have the refrigerator's manual and terms & condition booklet provided by LG at the time of purchase showing "5 years warranty on Compressor". But LG refund department refuses this document.. LOLz.. :D
I have a faulty refrigerator from day one and they are doing bargaining in replacement like "Kabaadi wala".
I am going to consumer court today against LG Home Appliances (India). Now, LG India PVT LTD. have to reply against their own documents.

According to our previous telephonic discussions, mails and complaints, I have understood that LG knows its company's product quality more than me. So, please proceed my refund as soon as possible. Now, it is more than 45 days of my complaints regarding LG refrigerator. Some registered complaint numbers are: RNA[protected], RNA[protected].

I have already posted my complaints in LG Facebook page, twitter but nothing went better. I have got several complaints from other LG users after posting my complaints. I have decided that it is better to replace all LG products and discontinue any relation with LG for better health as soon as possible.

I am reminding you once again that I have a manufacturing defected LG refrigerator from day one. I have raised several complaints regarding this. I have also paid gas charges in advance as per your technician's demand. But no thing happened.

I have already forwarded all my documents to LG India so many times through their service men. I am totally fade-up with LG product, customer care, services and so called fast replacement/refund process. Now, I am mailing all my documents required to LG. I hope it will help to do this process fast. LG product and services has already sucked my blood from the day after owned this. I don't want any LG Dracula in my house.

Never buy an LG product, they have the worst customer service. I bought a LG ac early 2012 within an year it stopped working, The service team has taken almost a week and haven't fixed it. The support engineers don't have much knowledge and experience. The LG customer service is poorly managed. I have made at least 20 calls to them and escalated to the highest point possible, but still the service is same and waste of time. My since advice is to not buy any LG product.

    Flat Television — Not working

      I PURCHASED A LG REFRIGERATOR MODEL LG GL 195 SL 4 IN KOZHIKODE (KERALA) FROM ONE OF THE REPUTED DEALER M/S NANDILATH G MART VIDE INVOICE NO CLT 4272 DATED 23/7/12. THIS WAS FOR THE USE OF MY AGED MOTHER WHO LIVES THERE.
      ON 7TH OCTOBER MY MOTHER NOTICED THAT THE SAID PRODUCT IS NOT COOLING. SHE MADE A COMPLAINT TO THE DEALER ON MONDAY 8TH OCTOBER 12. I ALSO MADE A COMPLAINT THOUGH THE TOLL FREE NO OF LG. INSPITE OF CONTINOUS FOLLOW UP WITH THE DEALER AND LG CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE IN KOZHIKODE, EVEN AFTER EXPLAINING THAT THE PRODUCT IS USED BY A SENIOR CITIZEN NO ONE TURNED UP FOR 2 DAYS. FINALLY TECHNICIAN TURNED UP AT 645 PM ON TUE 9TH OCT. AFTER INPSECTION HE SAID THERE IS SOME PROBLEM WITH THE GAS PIPE (IT IS CHOKED) AND HAVE TO TAKE THE PRODUCT TO THEIR LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE FOR REPAIR. ON ENQUIRY THAT THE PRODUCT IS LESS THAN 3 MONTHS OLD, AND IS THIS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT, HE COULD NOT GIVE ANY SATISFACTORY ANSWERS. HE SAID THE PRODUCT CAN BE TAKEN OUT OF THE HOUSE ONLY THE NEXT DAY AND CAN BE RETURNED ONLY AFTER 4-5 DAYS. I DID REQUEST HIM TO SPEED UP THE DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT AS GAS CHARGING SHOULD NOT TAKE MORE THAN A DAY. HOWEVER HE SAID THEY HAVE LOTS OF COMPLAINTS PENDING AND CANNOT HELP. ON 10TH OCTOBER, WED THEY HAVE TAKEN THE PRODUCTS FOR RECTIFICATION, THAT TOO WITHOUT GIVING ANY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SLIP. THOUGH THEY PROMISED THAT THEY WILL RETURN THE PRODUCT ON FRI OR SAT(12TH OR 13TH OCT) WE STILL HAVE NOT RECIVED ANY COMMUNICATION OR THE PRODUCT. MY MOTHER HAS BEEN TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM BUT NO RESPONSE AS NO ONE WAS PICKING UP THE TELEPHONE. AS YOU WILL NOTICE IT IS A WEEK THAT THE POOR LADY IS WITHOUT FRIDGE AND THINGS LIKE MILK ETC ARE GETTING SPOILED IN HOUSE. WE WOULD LIKE TO HIGHLIGHT THE FOLLOWING COMPLAINTS--- POOR RESPONSE FROM DEALER AND SERVICE CENTRE, NOT UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFICULTY OF THE USER WHO IS A SENIOR CITIZEN, YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE TENSION AND AGONY SHE IS GOING THROUGH OVER THE LAST ONE WEEK, NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR PRODUCT TAKEN AND NO FOLLOW UP CALLS AND KEEPING THE CUSTOMER IN DARK.         LG — LG Microwave failed to work in 20 days

        Hi,

        We have bought a LG microwave on 14th MAY, and that stopped functioning within 20 days. We raised a complaint with the service center at [protected] and the complaint # is W8C60100335.

        Customer repersentative who attainted the call has given us time of 24 hrs but but the engg. has not turned up till now that is 3 days passed.

        We have made n number of calls at the center each time they give us some fake number to contact that does not even exist. As per them they have called up at[protected] / [protected] etc as per them this is direct service numbers and the engg. will reach our residence with 24 hrs.


        The numbers of brach office printed on Owner's Manual for Pune city are not working.

        This is realy frustating and we think we need to seek help from cunsumer court now.

I have been complaining to the lg callcenter /local branch /lgservice india id but no body listen laslty after i wrote in the facebook they call me and assured me they will rectify within 3 days but again 10 days have passed but no one is bothered .

              Pathetic service .

              LG/ MICRO OVEN — micro oven are not working

              I have purchased one microoven (LG) from your anandamala show room.This appliances has good and satisfactory service, there is no dout. But problem is that last 7 days this appliances does not working, when the power supplying is normal.I would request you either to send your service engineer to chek the defective or faulty section.

                I Had purchased LG Micro Wave Oven during Aug 2010 with 2 Year extended warranty from Croma (Offered by Croma). Product stop working in july 2012. I made complain for the same with Croma extended warranty (complain no: 49664). Till date nothing happen when call center is contacted on number [protected] except the system (computer and server) is down and they can not able to provide correct status and left with promise to of call back but I never get call from Corma.

                  i am j.shiva kalyan varma from chennai working in Indian Navy. I had purchased an window ac about 2 and half years or three years back. one month back,when we used to switch on the AC the whole power of the house used to get dropped and the AC was not to able to switch on its compressor. for the same i hav called LG Customer care and made a complaint and obtained a complaint no(RNA[protected] and they said that i will get a call from nearest service centre in 24 hours and they will fix an appointment.but it didnt happened for next 4 days. so, i again called LG Customer care and inquired about it. They said they will make my complaint as o[censored]rgent nature. but after two days only technician from service center visited and checked the AC. He said there is no problem in AC,it is the problem of house wiring. called an electrician in front of him and he declared that there is no problem in wiring. then the technician said it is the problem of compressor and the AC need to be serviced. for that he said AC will be taken to service centre. they hav charged me Rs. 300 for transport and Rs. 350 for servicing. After many calls they have brought my AC back and fitted the AC back. when i used to switch on the AC it sounded like a 10 year old AC. Again after 15 days the AC had the same problem. i have called the LG customer care again and booked a complaint for the same problem and the sound coming from AC vide my complaint no. RNA[protected]. Customer care promised me that they woudn't charge anything and senior technician will be visiting my place for check up. A technician has come and checked the AC. He said there is problem in compressor and has to be taken to service center. They took the AC on 28th Sep 2012. After 10 days am worried, why my AC is not being brought back. Started contacting service center and got to hear different problems each time. A lady calld Bhanu, who attends the calls started avoiding my calls and no response from them. Finally i managed to get the some senior's number called Mr. bhaskharan and asked him about my AC. first he said he will inquire about the problem and let me know. but slowly,he also started avoiding calls.

                  so, i dnt know where to complaint about those people and i dnt understand how to get my AC compressor which is having warranty. somebody please guide me. my Contact No. [protected], chennai. Such a worst experience of buying LG products and their service. very sorry to say,will neither buy an LG product nor recommend the same.

                      LG India/ Refrigerator — Service

                      Hello Sir/Madam,
                      I booked a complaint with LG regarding my Refrigerator on 14 July & it was said to me that with in 24 hours I would have call from Service Engineer & with in a 2-3 minute a sms with service booking no will be sent to me. I kept on waiting till 16 July & when I called LG customer care they told me that there were no complaint lodged in system, it can be drawn from my phone record that call was around 25 minutes long. I left all the argue & asked them to booked a complaint again on 16 July & I asked the service no right away on call, they gave me that. I had requested them to instruct their service engineer to give me a call before visitng my home so that I can make sure to be at home. But after chasing them yesterday when I was in office around 1:00 PM I got the call from their service Engineer that he is in-front of my home & when i asked him why did not he gave me a call he did not answer me, I requested him to come in evening at 6:00 PM & I will be there he told me that another engineer will come tomorrow be at home. I booked a complaint on 16 July & now sitting on 20 July & chasing & requesting their service guy for service.

                      Please look in to this & do the needful as in this scorching summer you can understand the need of refrigerator.

                      Most of the Current Refrigerator manufactures are fools and they don't manufacture with Indian needs.. They think India is US...

                      I hope your Refrigerator is under warranty. Better go directly to the showroom from you bought the product or to the LG Service center, meet the GM and drop a complaint to him and demand for repair ASAP or if it is beyond repair, demand the replacement for new Refrigerator.

                      It will take a day or two, But you will get it done.. All you need is your best conversation ability...

                        LG/LCD TV 22" — Not Functioning

                        I have bought LG 22" LCD TV in the mth of Oct09 - a mth back and the television is no more in the operative mode in span of mth.
                        Several complains have been lodged but in vain there is hardly any action on it. Every I call center referring to the complain - they relodge the complain with the fresh complain id. Again the service executive visits guages the complain and returns back without any traction on the result - referring that there is issue with panel board and the same thing gets repeated with new service executive .

                        The first complain was lodged on 15Nov09 and subsequent complains referrring non resolution of the said issue on 23rd, 26th and so on.

                        Its been really a pain as I am neither able to use the TV from almost past fortnight and above it need to run off from office to attend the service executive.
                        The television needs to be replaced as many executives have already tried various resolutions
                        Kindly get quick traction on the said issue without any further delay and avoid further harassment.

                          18th july of 2012 so i complained to lg service centre. He checked and said that we will repair it in 10-15 days.nd take
                          my monitor to thie service center. till 3 weeks they did'nt give me any
                          response.then I had make call to service center and ask what is exact
                          condition they said we waiting for your monitor part which is fault.till
                          then I am calling them regular but they are not pick up phone.when they pick
                          up phone said we are very busy and don't call us when we have free time your
                          monitor have been repaired .
                          When i have called to customer care regarding this. they don't give me any
                          response.
                          Now i thought why i purchased of lg product. In future i will never
                          purchase lg product

                            i bought a mobile hand set ( lg touch screen worth Rs.4790/-) now i want to exchange it but the store person is not listening, he didn't informed me that he is not going to exchange it and didn't even took my sign on the terms and condition part of the bill, as on 2 Oct 2012 it was a holiday so i went today i.e., 3 Oct 2012, but now he is showing me the attitude and says it cannot be exchanged.If it is in the terms and condition part then he should have informed me at the time of purchase.

                              We have renewed the service contract of our AC. The renewed contract was to be delivered within 45 days. But even after 2 months or so, the contract was not delivered to us. Finally, my son Vivek Kesarkar called over telephone and was told that the contract will be e-mailed to him. The contract was e-mailed to us (in the form of an invoice). There was no signature on the e-mailed document. Then we received another copy of the same invoice (without anybody's signature) on October 1, 2012. How can we consider this unsigned document as the real contract? Further, the contract we received on October 1, 2012 also has something printed on it which is not meant for us. Hope the needful will be done immediately as we have to get the servicing of our AC done shortly. I am thinking of approaching the Consumer Court for my rights.

                                LG - Refrigerators — Poor LG service

                                I had bought an LG refrigerator (model no. - 245TTG4) on 20.07.2008. Now I wanted an AMC. Call centre people (on 18.03.10) told me that 1yr AMC would cost Rs.750/- + service tax and if I take for more than 1 yr (2 or 3 years), it would come at a 20% discount (ref no. - R[protected]). When the service engineer visited me on 19.03.10, he informed that no discounts are available. On my trying to recheck with the call center (that no discounts are available), your call center executive told me to talk to the service engineer himself or his ASC head as he himself would not be able to help out and give correct information. This essentially means that the call center is either redundant or its executives are hand in glove with the service center people and charge extra (withdrawing discounts at their own will).
                                Despite my repeated efforts, I was unable to get to the right source for the desired information. Kindly help me out.
                                Recently we faced problem of cooling in our lg refrigerator. My refrigerator was out of warranty so a compressor was replaced on 11/11/2009 and we paid amount of Rs5000. In summer we noticed that the cooling was not the same as it was before.We made our first complaint on 25TH MARCH .The company's executive visited and told us that the compressor which was earlier installed had a capacity of 6200 whereas the compressor that the company recently installed had a capacity of 5700.This new compressor is under warranty of 1 year.Because of this problem we have suffered a lot as it is very hot outside. We made many complaint but lg company's executive did'nt turned up.I request you to take immediate action against this company.

                                I am Niranjan an user of LG Refrigerator which I bought a year back, stopped working suddenly ...I logged a complaint against it and got a call from the customer service telling that an engineer will visit and fix the problem...he did come and said that it needs to be replaced.....since it is under the warranty period so we called up the no. given by the customer service for the replacement...it has been over 2 months and the only responce that I get is that the Model is out of stock...I am facing such an inconvinience which is now becoming untoreable for me because of the pathetic service of LG....This is the first time that I have purchased a LG product and the experience is so awful that it is the last time as well for me to purchase any LG product....I am highly dissatisfied with the service and will never recommend anyone to buy LG product.

                                dear sir,i jitendra p chhadva frm matunga(mumbai) had complain regarding my refrigerator.a technician from aditya services vikhroli west who is authorised service provider of LG.a technician came thrice to repair my product.and it got spoilt within hour of his repairing.he changed the timer part.again it got spoilt he installed new timer.again it got spoilt twice.after contacting the technician.he is not replying.sumhow i got the number of aditya service and he told part which he installed was temporary and he doesnt have the exact part of the product.then y did he installed that temporary part and he didnt informed us about the part.his name was junaid from aditya services.and when i called aditya services to send the technician again.they said complain again at our main center.i complained there and he sent complain to neutron services.neutron services called me and said we dont do service for low products.then y do your service center gives them service.and told me to again call at main center and tell them to transfer complain to other service center.it seems i am worker to do all this work.its such bad service from LG INDIA.SHAME ON YOU.
                                I purchased an LG refrigerator from Subham Electronic Jorhat in 26-05-10 and in 11-05-12 a problem was detected in the fridge that it does not gets cold and on 14-05-12 i lodged a complaint in the Jorhat LG service centre throgh telephone in the number [protected] and the operator gave me a blunt and vague reply that they have have many complaints pending service and could not give me any expected date when they can attend me. Whereas they noted down my complaint, landmark and phone details but no one turned up. I did not receive a single call from the service centre but on the contrary i repeatedly called the service centre. I also called up the Manager/ In charge and sensitized him about the whole matter but he also gave me the same reply and failed to attend me. At last on 21-05-12 a person came to me and refilled the gas and I paid him Rs 862/- for all the charges. to my surprise the problem persisted and i called up the service centre yesrterday i.e on 29-05-12 and narrated the case but till now no phone calls no attendant. I again called up the service centre and got a blunt reply that the person who mends has not turned up. I called the Manager/ In charge and he replied the person / mechanic met with an accident. My complaint is I did not receive any phone call from the service centre and also did not receive any feed back calls and their sevice is too poor and slow and the persons are irresponsible and are not fit to work in a service provider office. please take note of my complaint and take necessary action against the team in Jorhat LG service centre.

                                  I had bought an LG TV from CROMA shop in East of Kailash on 21st sep.`12.the person sent by LG one Mr Irshaad tel [protected]
                                  was not only rude but did not install the TV at the correct level.When I told him the its too high he refused to correct it and said that nothing can be done now and if i wanted it fixed then i`ll have to pay 550 rupees- which i refused to do.when i asked for the contact number of someone senior in LG he flatly refused to do so and told me to find the person and contact number myself.He did not connect the DVD player and the Pop up ads (the set was a demo TV) kept coming up and spoiled the viewing.I had to call the people from Croma to rectify it.
                                  Im a senior citizen living with my 71 yrs old husband and found this incident very unpalatable and and felt helpless and mentally harassed.

                                    I have logged complaint with RNA[protected], resembling problem with poor video quality for TV. The LG technician came home and repaired the said part by charging 7.5 K and service charges extra. this part came after one month, an now we were not able to get Intelligent Sensor option after this part change. The senior Technician came in and did something with the part. The next day we came to know LCD panel is dead.

                                    Technician are responding that they are not at fault, they tested it and it was working fine before. Can yu let me know where can I escalate my concern and try to take this on priority ?

                                      I had purchased a LG washing machine aboutthree years ago and recently had a problem and lodged a complaint to their Cutsomer helpdesk and I was told that a person from Sree Electornics from Navi Mumbai ( thier authorised service centre ) will visit my place. They never did and despite repeated complaints nithing happened and then finally on calling customer help desk and eqnuiring on the status they say that the complaint was rejected ! and that too by Sree Electronics

                                      Now I wonder what the Service Manager of LG is doing - imagine allowing complaiints to be cancelled by the team who was asked to attened to the problem without any resolution !. This is the state of LG repair centre then God Help all those who purchase the white goods from them. The company may have good intention of making "Life Good" but this experience makes me wonder does the comapny have what it takes to "walk their talk"

                                      After four days when I call the Help dek they say I cant give the service managers number as systems are down!. Dont they have a list in front of them indepndent of servers ? If the servers are down we dont get updates ..well they really need to revamp the entire system of taking complaints and resolving it

                                      My complaint re registered today had a ticket number RNA[protected]

                                      I can only pray they dont cancel the complaint again without resolution . Having service centre like Sree Electronics , Vashi New Mumbai - who are least bothered about the LG company image and dont bother to live up to the promises of good customer care as promisd by LG can be a great undoing for even a giant like LG.

                                        Me and my family used to be a patron of LG Products, starting from Washing machine, microwave, refrigerator ..and our new 42 inch LCD Flat screen TV, but recently we are really facing great issues with the companies after sales service..
                                        Our front loader Washing machine was giving some trouble for which we logged a complaint its been 3 months and following up regularly - but the service section seem to be too reluctant to listen to our problem. Things are getting out of patience after all we spend our hard earned money - I am thinking to going for the Consumers Affairs Court. Does any one know the nodal officer for LG Consumer Electronics, or what shall I do to get at least the bare minimum service from the company....I just cannot dispose off my Washing machine and get another one.
