Sir,

For the past 2 weeks my AC display sensor is not working and I have been complaining to the Toll Free No.of LG for the 10 days. One technician came to our home and said the sensor to our model would be available in a couple of days and would replace it. But even after calling the local office and giving the complaints again and again to the central toll free number are of no avail. Even the Chennai office supervisor is not attending to it properly. Only I have waste my calls in this sweltering heat.

The customer service has become worst in the LG.

I have decided to cancel my order for buying LG TV.

    last time am visited Ernakulam, North janatha customer care and no solution.
    please give a solution
    yes this is perfectly correct ...my phone is working for 3 months only... DONT GO WITH LG...

      Claim ' id' No. DSNHP[protected] dt 24.3.11
      Got new on my mobile [protected] that Form 19 and 10C submitted for withdrawal are rejected. and Letter sent to my address at Bhandup West Mumbai. But so far not received. Enquiry with my office
      i.e. LG Electronics at Gurgaon reveals that there was signature 'mis-match' and that they have already
      certified that the signature is correct and the claimant is genuine which they have sent to PPF office at
      Delhi South and My office said I should receive the credit in about 15 days. But so far, I have not received the amount in my account. No news so far. But my enquiry at Internet 'Employees Provident Fund Claim Status' it shows the same old news of rejection even today.
      But no news so far. I am worried. Kindly advise me the correct position. Also, why the rejection letter has not been received by me so far at my address: 1004/1005 Sunrise Point, Neptune Complex,

        I BOUGHT LG REFRIGERATOR FROM AMIT ENTERPRISED, SAROJINI NAGAR ON 19TH MAY. SAME DAY I SUBMITTED A REQUEST FOR DEMO AND INSTALLATION. ALTHOUGHT I WAS PROMISED THAT WITHIN 24 HOURS SOMEONE WILL CALL AND CAME. I RESUBMITTED THE REQUEST 4 TIMES. IT HAS BEEN A WEEK NO ONE HAS COME OR CALLED. VERY POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE PROVIDED BY LG !!! EXTREAMLY DISAPPOINTED !! IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO BUY LG PRODUCTS SPECIALLY IN DELHI !!!

          Have been complaining to Gurgaon service centre since two weeks and no response and finally when they took my refrigerator it's been 5 days, they haven't returned when according to them it's working fine now. Complain number : RNA[protected].

          I ensure I shall never buy LG products henceforth and also not recommend others too.

          I expect nothing out of complain still putting it down.

          LG in India should shut down if they cant manage customer complains well in time.
          I belong from media community and have the capacity to put down a negative story in Delhi media soon.

            Dear Sir,
            I purchased 42" LCD TV Model No. 42LK430 along with 2.0 Ton Split AC and a Home Theatre from LG dealer in Agra M/s Anil Electronics, Opp. Kargil Petrol Pump, Sikandra Bodla Road, Agra, vide Challan No. 328 Book No. 07 dated 18/05/2011. The Goods were part financed by Bajaj Finance. After realizing full payment on 18/05/2011 the Dealer is not able to provide the LCD & Split AC till date. I went thrice to his shop all the way from Mathura Refinery Township, Mathura, to collect Goods but he couldn’t provide all the goods.
            At first, on 18/05/2011, after waiting whole day long, the Dealer called me to his shop and tried to make fool of me by offering a Demo Piece. And the set being offered was in old & used condition and very clumsily packed which I out rightly rejected as he was supposed to provide the LCD in Factory sealed condition.
            On 19/05/2011 he tried to convince me to receive the same Demo Set or else another model 42LK450 but I didn’t. He then told me that the Brand new set is lying in his Go-down so I would have to wait for 2-3 Hours. I waited whole day long, but he didn’t bother to arrange the set. Finally, I came back to Mathura without receiving any goods. I planned to send all the goods in one mini Truck or a Van costing around Rs.500/- so I dropped the idea to pick up the Split AC separately though Split AC was available at the shop. I told the Dealer that it was his fault so he should arrange to send the material at his cost.
            Once again, on 21/05/2011 at 11.00 Hrs, the Dealer promised me to provide Brand new LCD (Model 42LK430) in Factory sealed condition and told me to come from Mathura and collect the Goods from his Shop. When I arrived at his Shop, I couldn’t find my ordered LCD. The Dealer told me that LCD is on the way and the Bearer has stuck up somewhere in traffic jam. I waited for hours but nobody turned up. The Dealer, it seems, was telling a lie. I could read the faces of other salespersons who were present there, too Then I left his Shop telling the Dealer to call me if the set arrives. I received no calls from him. Finally I talked to him at 19:00 Hrs and the Dealer showed his inability to provide the LCD Set that I purchased from him citing the reason that the 42LK430 LCD is in short supply from LG Company but he will, somehow, arrange the Set in day or two. I could not pick up the Split AC on that day too. But the Dealer confirmed that he would send the materials at his cost.
            By far, it was evident that the Dealer was taking me for a ride and had committed a breach of trust by selling and receiving payment against the LCD Set that he was actually not having in his stock. How can he sell and receive full payment against something that he cannot provide. It is a cash market. He tried many times to influence me to receive the Demo Piece. In fact, now, when I recall, the Dealer has a history of selling those Demo pieces. Just one month back, I purchased a 32” LCD (Model: 32LD460) which he told was in Factory sealed condition. But when I took it to my home, I found that it was opened from the bottom and packed with cello tape in such a manner that I couldn’t judge the condition of the set immediately trusting the Dealer. Considering it my mistake, I only informed the Dealer about the open condition of the set and asked him to curb this practice. In late Nineties also, I purchased an AIWA Music system (Cost: Rs. 27000/- at that time) to give as a gift to my brother, from the same Dealer. That piece was also a Demo piece that the Dealer realized later when the matter was referred to Consumer Court. I still have those documents with me.
            After waiting for 2-3 days of the purchase, I registered a complaint with Customer Care (Ref. No.RNA[protected] and they advised me to talk to Mr. Rakesh - Area Sales Manager. He assured me to resolve the matter at the earliest. Upon enquiry he found that he would not be able to arrange the Set before Friday, 27/05/2011. On 23/05/2011 when I asked Mr. Rakesh to instruct the Dealer to at least send the Split AC which is readily available, he assured me that he would look into the matter. I have received only plain assurances, by far, but no concrete action is being taken against the Dealer who is cheating innocent customers in broad day light. On 24/05/2011 I brought this matter to the Ms. Ratika Bhardwaj, CCO, LG Electronics India and she assured me that at least Split AC will be delivered by the Dealer on 25/05/2011 obviously at Dealer’s cost.
            I request Consumer Complaints Forum People to resolve this issue and take strict action against the erring Dealer who is cheating innocent customer and causing loss of reputation to such a good company.

            LG MONITOR LCD — ABSENCE OF ASSURED GIFT+DTH CONNECTION

            i had purchased a monitor...under the STARS OF INDIA festival on 26july09.with PRAGATI ELECTRONICS KATNI. with asured gift of MOBILE PHONE+ TATASKY INSTALLATION & CONNECTION.for which i repetedly talk to them without proper reply, even after 1 month, so should i consider it as a FALSE advertisement by LG INDIA OR I SHOULD MOVE TO THE ..CONSUMER COURT AGAINST YOU, becuse local dealer say that he is not responsible for any of the above things...AND I SHOULD NOT TALK TO HIM
            IN LAST 02 MONTHS I HAD PURCHASED 2LCD & 1TV OF LG, OUT OF WHICH ONE IS 42INCH.IF THE THINGS LIKE THE FOLLOWING HAPPEN TO THE CUSTMER BY LOCAL DEALER WE HAVE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE THE PURCHASE.

              I had made complaint of LG Air conditioner on 19th May and today is
              24/5/08 still my complaint of Air conditioner not resolved. Your customer representative came on 21st after checking the Air conditioner they said Gas is not there so it needs to fill the gas and for that they need to take away the AC to the service center as they don't had the transport that day to take the AC they said they will come tomorrow and take the AC but nobody came back till date to take the AC. I am calling in the service center to check the status but your phone nos are continuously coming busy.

              LG (Air Conditioned) — very irresponsible customer service

              I have purchased a window AC from suri, West Bengal.From the day of of puchase it continues to perform badly.During warranty period fan motor has been replaced.Sevaral time your representative comes to attained noise & cooling problem.NOW AFTER COMPLETION OF ONE YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD MY AC FACED STARTING PROBLEM-YOUR LG REPRESENTATIVE FOUND THAT ELECTRONIC CERCUIT BOARD TO BE REPLACED & THE COST OF IT ABOUT RS. 1000.00.ALTHOUGH I AGREED BUT ONE MONTH IS GOING TO PASSED YOU ARE DONT BOTHERD ABOUT MY WINDOW AC.AS A RESULT I AM GOING LOSSING THE THRUST FROM YOU.

              LG — poor service(urgent attention)

              Today 16/07/12 still my complaint of lg air conditioner not resoved. I've called on 06/07/12 for the same. till date it is not resolved and my compliant NO. RNA[protected].They have come on 12/07/12 and took my a.c. for repairment but after that they have not looked back. Now i am calling to their authorised service centre (COOL ENGINEERS, Ghaziabad), they are not attending my calls.just shame on lg service and i hate lg.

                  I have purchased an Tower Air conditioner Model No. LP-K3685QC in the name of Sri Ganesh Sweets & Bakery, Vizianagaram,Andhra Pradesh at Yedukondala Electronics, Vizianagaram in the month of May, 2008.
                  For 1 year during the warranty period there was no problem with the AC and it was working fine and once the warranty period was finished then we had a problem with the AC and the Service Engineer named Mr. D. Srinath came from Srikakulam and noticed a PCB Board Complaint and changed the board and adviced us to take an AMC for 1 year so that in case of repairs within a call he could come and rectify the future problems arised if any, and he had charged Rs. 3400/- for the PCB Board and for AMC Rs. 4000/- with the Bill No. 562 with the name of Master Electronic Services, D. No. 7-6-42/6, Burravari Thota, New Colony, Srikakulam-535001 and the AMC started from 23/5/2009 to 22/5/2010. After replacing the Board the AC worked without any complaints for 9 months and then the AC stopped working and we have lodged many complaints to the Call Centres with the below complaint numbers and dates:

                  The AC being in the AMC Contract was of no use after several calls and follow ups to the customer care, and at this point of time we thought “Was this a punishment to purchase the AC of LG Company” because, till now we have used several products of LG and I did not face any such sort of complaints. Then Mr. G. Srihari M: [protected] and Mr. D. Satyam M: [protected] came into contact and they have visited our shop several times and said that there is a problem with the Board and said that they’ll come back and didn’t turn up. We waited for a couple of months time very patiently then one fine day they called up and given the number of the Local Service Center person named Mr. Kishore M: [protected] and when he also failed in helping us he gave his higher authority Mr.Bhaskar Reddy’s number [protected].We called him up as well, he listened to the complaint and said we will see to that and from then onwards whenever we have called up he never lifted the call.
                  Now in this senario we have totally lost our patience and there is an impact on our Business as well and I have suffered a lot for 1 long year mentally and physically that too for an AC without any solution. So, I request your kindself to look into this within week days failing which I would be left with no other option than to proceed legally and meet you people in the Court of Law.
                  Hope you would understand my current situation and the loss I have met and act favourably within the 7 days of the stipulated time.

                    Hi,


                    I am writing this mail to request you to kindly forward this to the concerned department and to escalate this issue to the senior management of the LG Customer care division,on 26th March 2011 I had requested for the repair of my Window AC ( Model : LWA18FSDT1) and it was told to me from the LG customer care people ( Ideal Services) that there is a gas leakage in my window AC and they took the AC for 2 days for repair later on when they installed back the AC after repair then I realized that they have not done anything and have charged me 1500 rupees for doing Nothing ( Complaint No : RNA[protected] and from that day my AC is giving ZERO cooling effect and I complained this to the Ideal Services people ([protected], [protected], [protected] etc) but from all of them I have got the reply that they can’t help me in this and it’s not their problem.

                    Afterwards I complained to the LG customer care on 22nd April-2011 complaint No RNA[protected] and I was told that I will receive a call with 24 hour but 23 days have passed and I have not received any call from anyone.

                    If you check the call logs in this complaint then you will find that I have called LG customer care people for more than 11-12 times to look into my request but again and again I got the same reply that I will get a revert in 24 hour and they refused to connect me to their manager.

                    Somehow I got the No of LG Area officer in Noida from the customer care department and they told that I can share my grievances to the area officer, but in vain I found that the Mobile No given by the customer care of the Area Manager is always switched off ( LG Area officer Noida Mob : [protected])

                    Later I also contacted Ms. Akansha Verma from the Greater Noida division to listen and address my complaint but even then I have not got any revert except a system generated thanks mail.

                    Very frankly I have found that LG customer service is pathetic and I don’t know how to get my AC repaired even after paying the cost. Nobody in the department is ready to revert to the queries its now close to 1 month and I am still waiting for the call from LG which was supposed to come in 24 hour.

                    I am going to file a case in the consumer court against LG and IDEAL service but before that I am requesting you to kindly take this matter to the senior management of LG Customer care division and I expect that they will look into this matter on highest priority and will take appropriate action.

                      Dear Sir, I purchased LG 1.5 Ton Airconditioner on 06/10/2010. In the month of March 2011 when the AC was run, its cooling capacity was zero. The outer unit which is supposed to hold required gas for cooling was not at all there. I lodged complaint three times during march. The service engineer visited my place once in March 2011 but they checked the outer unit and confirmed it had no gas. In the month of April also I kept on lodging requests to the customer care LG and after several requests a team of LG engineers visited my place once but they did not fill the required gas in the unit and went back saying they would return in two days with equipment and gas cylinders. Thereafter no body turned up in the whole month of April. I lodged complaints again during this month and the latest complaint registration number has been given to me by the customer care executive LG is RNA[protected] dated 13/05/2011. I have been continuously reminding the LG authority on phone to do the needful but in vain.
                      Due to this very poor after sale service of this LG India, I am fed up and would like to approach appropriate authority to initiate action against the CO and also I would like to know how do I get a refund of my money by returning them this non functional LG product. The dealer through which I purchased this LG product is Mangla Electronics (LG Shoppe) Near Ramphal Chowk, Sector 7, DWARKA, New Delhi-75.                             Split AC purchased from local NEXT RETAIL SHOP Pali on 07.07.2010. In
                            year 2010 the AC was used for two months. But when it was switch on in
                            this season, there was no cooling.Complaint was lodged. I received SMS
                            on 14.04.11 confirming my complaint.
                            Mechanic/Engg. came and attended unit. There was no gas in the system.
                            He took out the thermostat covering of tubes connecting indoor and
                            outdoor units. But he could not find any leakage. He filled gas and
                            the pressure was 60. I mentioned in service report that the pressure
                            may be checked after 7 days. Because I was not satisfied.

                            Again gradually cooling went low. I lodged complaint and SMS was
                            received on 6.5.11. The person came from service center and checked
                            indoor as well as outer door unit. On requesting he
                            checked gas pressure.It was considerably low but he told me that on
                            working o[censored]nit the filled pressure is changed and he has checked and
                            did needful the cooling will be normal now. I did not sign the service
                            report and asked him to observe unit for 7 days.

                            Ultimately cooling went off completely. Again complaint is lodged on
                            20.05.11. I am very much perturbed and repent on my decision to
                            purchase LG Product. I have other brands installed earlier to this one
                            and are working trouble free. I personally contacted also service
                            center but regret to write that response was not encouraging.

                            Please take note to this complaint and the problem may kindly be
                            solved with full remedial
                            solutions. The mechanic/engg. who is going to attend this complaint is
                            expected not to device any more.

                              We are one of the leading FMCG Company in India called M/s Argus Cosmetics Ltd., manufacturing and marketing men's cosmetics in the brand name "Z". We have ordered the following items from M/s LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd., thru their Area Manager - Business Solution, Mr. S Venkataramanan on 09.02.2011 and we have paid Rs.5,75,645/- towards the cost of the items in advance alongwith the Purchase Order. Mr.Venkataramanan committed that all the items will be delivered to the respective parties within 21 days.

                                On 3/4/2009, I bought one 2 Ton LG split room Air conditioner. My AC Compressure is not working.

                                I had registered a complaint against my AC Daily at customer care number[protected] daily. First hold was put on a long hold many time then despite of many reminders (atleast 10 times and also after waiting for 5-10 minutes every time)finally they visited and conveyanced me that he will send a macanic but till today I am still waiting despite of calling them 12-15 times. They give me a complain no - RNA[protected] but no one came and reapired the AC. They either dont pick-up phone or say we are sending the same in next 2-3 hours. I am still waiting.

                                Now I shall not give any person to touch it, I want to get it repaired.

                                Hope you people will hurry up with your activities.

                                  initially it was not freezing ice for last 2 months but otherwise was cooling.
                                  MY refrigertor is not cooling anymore
                                  there is this HISSING sound in the freezer compartment..

                                  My refrigerator was replaced in its warranty within 6 months of purchase.
                                  now out of warranty have given the problems for so long...

                                  Life is good , but LG mobiles are not .In fact they are the worst .
                                  I'll recommend my friends not to buy any LG products .
                                  I have bought a handset (KG195) from Readyphone,Alkapuri,Vadodara,Gujarat in 2009-Deepabali .But there are are some problems noted in my mobile . My mobile was in warranty period .I'd gone to the LG service center in Alkapuri,Vadodara .But They did not respond properly .Shame , they were unable to detect the problem .In that period , the warranty period was expired .

                                  Now I am using that mobile as paper weight .And rightly so .
                                  I am frustrated .Please do something if possible .

LG GM 200 Black customer ID[protected] on dated 12.07.2010, since purchase this is not working properly, i went to cutomer service centra at Krishna mall near laxmi mandir Jaipur many times for get repairing of my mobile phone but even repairing they lost my 2GB memory card also and my mobile speech transmission is not commercial. I also saidd to cutomer support for get repairing of my mobile but in these days they are not lodging my comlaint. it is very disappointed for me to having a LG mobile. please do needful for repairing of my mobile immediately.

                                    I have 4 LG Airconditioners, 2 Split and 2 Window Acs...
                                    Out of these, one split AC has not been working for nearly 2 weeks now. I purchased this on 21/3/2009 from LG Life Style Shop, Electronic Palace, 90 Ambedkar Road,, Ghaziabad. We lodged a complaint with LG Electronics Noida of the same on Thursday.Complaint no. RNA[protected].
                                    After reminding them for two days, the mechanic came on monday. There was a problem with the compressor of the AC while the mechanic said it was not so. Nevertheless, we were told that they would return the next day for repairing the problem. Not only has no one returned but no one is picking the call. The person who visited us when contacted said that it was the LG Electronics Noida centre that would be able to help us. The service centre is not taking our calls for the last two days and the customer service no.[protected] is not reachable.
                                    This is a very sad state of affairs of after sales services.

Never Buy LG products in life. 90days AC is not working and every day one complaint number is given and no one attended the job and almost summer is coming to an end. If Aparichitudu is really alive the CEO of LG will be given Kumbhipakam punishment

                                    I made the mistake of buying LG Split Air Conditioner from Croma Pune. Its been a couple of weeks since installation. The installation has been done in a faulty manner resulting in water splurgin from the wall into my bedroom whenever it rains. there was a flood situation in my house, leaving the furniture submerged in water while we were at office. After atleast 10 phone calls and complaints o[censored]rgent nature, the service team came home and plugged the hole with white cement and paper(!!!!! unbeliveable).....this was just the beginning. everyday it rains we have been thru the same cycle and even today as it rains in Pune, my bed room and furniture remain soaked in water. The sevice team's response , attitude and skill is nightmarish. the wall of my bedroom is getting spoiled and weak due to continuous seepage of water thru the drain hole. my wooden furniture has gone for a toss. will LG bear the cost of getting it all back in shape and payin for the damage!!!!!?????? it was an absolute mistake to buy an LG product!!

                                    I am sure there will be no response to this complain also, as the LG staff has made big money enough to sit back and anjoy people grieving the mistake of buying an LG product. I intentd to sue LG for putting me thru this mental haressment and the damage caused to my property. will some one wake up and look into the issue????

                                    I am Abhiram Jha from Patna. I bought a LG Split Air Conditioner last year in mid-April from Aditya Vision, Khajpura showroom. Right from the time I bought the AC, I had many problems with it but due to lack of time I lived with it but recently it developed many new problems. The problems were -

                                    1. No Cooling at all
                                    2. The swing flap not working
                                    3. Unresponsive remote
                                    4. Unpleasant Sound

                                    Initially when II complained I was promised the solution within 24 hrs but even after 2-3 visits of the mechanic he could not repair it. Then the company people totally disappeared and did not turn up even after repeated complains. Then one day they called to tell that they can fix it but it will cost me(my AC is still in warranty, and for compressor it is 5 years). I rushed to dealer to find some solution but the dealer too seemed to be in cohorts with the company people and both made me shuttle between each other so that finally I would get tired and pay for the services even when the product is in warranty. I have complained repeatedly for the same and my next step will be to lodge a formal case in court against the company for mental and physical harassment and also financial losses.                                     I have two window ac and one split ac of india. All three are under AMC. NOw at the start of season in April all three got serviced. NOw one window AC is making a lot of noise. The split AC remote is not working. I have complained many times but to no avail. Plz help me.

                                      I have a window AC of LG. I have taken an AMC from LG itself. I had requested for the Service of the AC on[protected]. The customer Service provided me a Service Request Number - RNA[protected].

                                      When there was no action for some 7 days, I again called up the Customer Service. They feigned ignorance and gave me a new Complaint Number - RNA[protected]. Since[protected], I've been following up with the Customer Service on phone and on mail, but so far there has been no solution.

                                      I'm unable to operate the AC despite the fact that temperature in Delhi have soared up to 44.1 degrees.

                                      Now 24 days have lapsed. The reply that you have given to me is the reply which I had got on the 10th day as well. It's a standard phrase that you use. I'm still not sure if you are even interested in resolving the issue.

                                      There is no use following up with LG electronics. They are the worst in customer service. I would suggest that you:

                                      1. Get the Servicing done from some local vendor
                                      2. Buy a new AC from some other company.
                                      3. Never buy any product from LG.
