Sir,

I purchased an LG split A.C. in indore (M.P.) in 24 April 2011 and after few days my AC air swing flap stop the working rendomly.

I call the service engineer & he brought the defective flap with himself & there is no response given by customer officer or any engineer from last one month. After long time follow up my AC flap not recover till now & no body take any responsibilty from LG side. LG customer care not given any complaint no. due which I unable to follow the status

Please help to recover my loss of money & help to repair my new A.C. and take immidiate strict action against LG Air conditioner section because LG customer Care officer says that we are not fear to any body.Last few days LG customer officer not recieve my phone from last two days

    a complain for repair/replacement of switch board of my microwave oven,type mg607apr was lodged with lgindia call centre [protected] on 27jun2011 vide[protected].no repair was done and a repeat comlaint was registered on 4jul2011.there was no action and the call centre was contacted again on 8jul2011 . iwas told that comlaint dt 27 jun has been cancelled on advice of service centre.no firm date or surity of repair was given.on their advice contact with one mr sameer at[protected] did not ellicit any satisfactory responce.the repair has not been carried out till date.

    We are having a Micro-Oven Model no.MC-767W-ADXQEIL(IN)which became out of order.Accordingly
    we booked a call ID.RNA[protected] on 17th October, 2012.After vigorous persuation on
    1st, November, 2012 one technician from service centre Cool Care visted and replaced the PCB and
    made Micro-Oven workable.But again on 8th, November2012 it became nonfunctional an error "E10"
    was comming.We had no other way but contact your helpline and another ID.RNA[protected] was
    loged.On9th, NOvember, 2012 we received another ID.RNA[protected].Till 20th, November, 2012 no
    technician visted.When we contacted your help line we came to know that call has been closed
    as we were not available over phone.On 20thNovember another complain ID has been generated
    no.[protected].

    We are realy surprised to receive such a after sales service from reputable concern like
    LG.Your slogan Life Good has become Life Gone(misserable) to us.

        I had bought a LG-Scarlet 32 inches LCD TV (32LG60UR) from LG dealer Circuit Mall, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh on June 26,2008 for Rs 46,000 (Invoice NO. 21465 dt[protected]. Recently, the LCD TV stopped working. I made a complaint to your customer care number (Complaint No. RNA[protected] dated June 11, 2011). I was told that either the panel or the mother-board had stopped functioning. Later, the technician said that the Panel had stopped working. Since the TV was out of warranty, I was told that the new panel will cost over Rs 15,000. Since then, the company has not been able to replace the LCD panel. The technician also told me that the panels for my model of LCD TVs are no longer made by the company and that he will replace with some other panel after doing cutting of the panel and adjusting it. Once he even came with a LCD panel but then went back saying that the company has sent a broken panel.

        This incident has completely shaken my faith in all LG products. I not only have at least 6-7 LG products (including Refrigerator, LCD TV, DVD player, Microwave etc) but have recommended the products to so many friends and relatives. Even my LG microwave has never functioned properly. I feel that LG, which is doing very well in India, just CHEATS people with their sub-standard products and leave them to fend for themselves through outsourced service centres where no one listens.

        How can a LCD TV, which is supposed by have a life of one lakh (100,000) hours, not function even for three years? How can LG claim that it has a life of 100,000 hours when it cannot even last three years?

        In case of my LCD Scarlet TV, I am sure that LG stopped its production because the product must have been giving problems. The company first CHEATS people by selling high-priced products and later makes them pay for repair of the poor-quality products.

        The dealer, Circuit Mall-Chandigarh, and its propriter Varun Juneja are even more worthless. I contacted him for help for the poor quality LG products that he is selling. He refused to entertain my complaint.

          I had purchased a LG model No GL 263 DM semi frost free in 2006. Its handle has got broken, for which I have been trying to contact all the service centers in Ghaziabad but all my efforts have been in vain. Reason stated is the product is out of production and not available. On approaching the LG call center the problem is not addressed even, but rather exorbitant charges are being claimed. it is putting us in problem.

            Lg Customer Care,
            I lodged a complaint on 25th July in respect of washing machine. I was advised by the customer care to keep a photo copy of purchase documents and show the originals. Engeneer visited us next day. He checked the machine and informed us that some part was to be replaced. He promised us that it would be done next day. He saw the purchase docs and told us that a pohto copy would be required when the part is replaced.
            Since then I have been following with your customer care and service centre for rectification of the fault. It is very difficult to get service centre number even then I talked to them thrice. The last interaction was yesterday(4-7-11) on tel no [protected] at 2.39 pm. I was told that part has been requisioned and likely to be replaced tomorrow. Since it was not installed today[protected] also, I telephoned the customer care. To my utter surprise, I was informed that the case has been closed as the purchase docs has not been shown to the engineer. Since the time the engineer visited us, I have been interacting with both service center and customer care almost daily. I was never told that we have not shown purcase docs.
            It is crystal clear that story is being concocted to hide the grave lapses, inefficiency on your part. I have records of the conversation.
            Do you think any body would like to purchase your product if you harass your customers like this.
            I request you to take immediate action against the concerned officials and rectify the washing machine immediately.

              complaint regarding audio output is not there

THE SERVICE ENGINEER ATTENDED THE COMPLAIN HIM SELF SAID THAT THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND CAN NOT BE FIXED.               the company service engineer visited and could not settle the complain as it is a manufacturing defect please
              look into it and do the needful immediately.
              No solution is given by company till date making excuses and buying time. service center people contact me but giving no solution only delaying .
              your service engineer visited yester day but could not do any thing to resolve the issue .This morning he came back and gave me the number of Mr Naresh Kumar Sharma ([protected]) and asked me to talk to him. I am tring to contact him for last 3 hours but he did not respond to my call and nighter called back.
              Received a mail from Mr Naresh Kumar, branch service manager regarding my complain and alleging me of insisting on replacement of refrigerator which is not true but he is diverting from the problem I have waited for 10 days but no improvement in observed in the fridge waterleakage is intense in the fridge.I my observation this is a problem in this machine and is not due to monsoon as the weather is same for all models and companies . Please depute some senior and neutral person to take care of this .I again request to resolve the issue which is a genuine problem .This much is expected from a company like LG working in India for last many years in consumer goods.Do not try to avoid the complain and do the needful.

                Hi Team,
                I used LG KP500 Model Mobile for past one year. Unfortunately mobile fet down and mobile went to off state. i Gave to service centre on[protected] . They Told, we need to replace mother board and display. Mother -Board will be replaced under waranty, but for display i need to pay. I also agreed for that. They told, it will take Two buiseness days for servicing. But after a week also no respond from Service centre. Then i asked them, they told, they have no mother-board stock, it will take another week, i waited for a month.. today date is[protected]. still they didint gave my mobile back, Past one month i am suffering without mobile. My mobile warranty will expire on[protected]. I do know still how long they will take .

                  I BOUGHT 1 TON SPLIT AC ON 09.05.2011 from Saravana Store Tambaram in chennei.They installed the ac on 11.05.2011.AC repaired on 19.06.2011.I informed to installation people,contact no : [protected].Then I informed to LGcustomer care([protected]) Several times.Service people (M/s.Refimac) attended the work and took the compressor to service centre on :28.06.11.Then I talked to LGcustomer care([protected]),MS.DEVI :[protected] & Service people (M/s.Refimac :[protected]) more than 20 times.They did not give any responsible reply. So kindly arrange the needful to me at earliest.Because I have two children below 3.5 years old.

                    Why is that every time something goes wrong with my Front load fully automatic machine, I end up have the whole PCB changed.

                    This is the second time it has happened and the service engineer who dropped in glanced over the PCB for a while and declared it dead, and advised a bill of 5k for having it replaced all over again.

                    Is that how LG service works, can't they just swap the faulty component and get things going??? this requires some basic engineering skill to find voltage differences at different part of the PCB to find the faulty components, is LG trying to say that they or their engineer don't possess these basic skills??? or LG wants to make more money by selling the whole PCB for every fault occurring with every appliance.

                    ITS LIKE CHANGING THE ENTIRE WHEEL WHEN YOU HAVE A FLAT TYRE.

                    The reason I am putting this case on Consumer forum this time is because, recently I had some issues with my induction cooker (not LG brand, but a leading brand in the market) and when approached a service center, I was told the same thing (PCD has died) and I was billed Rs.1000/- for an appliance worth 3,000/- , I reluctantly paid and got the thing fixed. But the story doesn't end here, just two days after I got the cooker back home, I realized that a cockroach has entered into the appliance and sitting right over the LCD display making it hard for us to see the digits, I decided to open the cooker to clean it myself and to my surprise/shock I found that the PCB was never replaced and the same old PCB was repaired instead (Now I know why the service engineer was reluctant on giving me a service invoice) I decided to go back but then due to work timings etc, I decided to let go.

                    I Have not been given with any ref number in any/all of my communications with LG Customer service, I was advised that my concerns have been forwarded to department incharge, but I have never received anything back so far, I was asked to contact Customer Relationship Officer Ms. Nalini but she never answered my call, I also tried reaching Branch Service Manger Mr. Tummala J Kishore who then put me on to someone else but that didn't work either.

                    all that has already been numerous times...I wonder why need to do this repeatedly.
                    Hi,

                    I have had the same problem of PCB getting dead. It was declared faulty 2 years ago and today it again failed. The only difference is i have a top loaded model fuzzy active 5.5 KG. I agree that it seems like LG just want to make the money by replacing the entire PCB.

                    Totally frustrated and disappointed with the business strategy and the quality of LG product.

                        After a glimpse on the internet, I decided to buy LG GX200 handset. I needed a dual SIM Active handset with long battery life therefore I thought LG GX200 will be the best option. I wanted a phone with Dual SIM facility; i.e. if I am on line in SIM 1 and if someone calls on SIM 2 then the SIM 2 caller should not receive a switched off or out of reach response, rather a CALL Waiting.

                        To confirm this feature, I called LG customer care. They told me that LG GX200 handset is a DUAL SIM Active phone and works exactly the way I want to, i.e. if I am on line in Sim 1 and if someone calls on SIM 2 then the SIM 2 caller should not receive a switched off or out of reach response, rather a CALL Waiting.

                        I repeatedly asked them if the above feature worked and they confirmed the same. But
                        after buying the phone, I discovered that it was not a DUAL SIM Active phone, rather a DUAL SIM Stand by i.e.When I am on line on SIM 1 , SIM 2 gets a switched off or it is out of reach.

                        This is really frustrating. After repeated assurances from LG Customer Care, I went ahead and bought their product. Now I find, whatever conversation I had with LG Customer Care was all crap. Never expected such service from the Korean electronics giant. I swear, I will never buy a LG product again and will never recommend it to anyone. Misguiding customer to sell a product is a crime, LG should not carry out such mortifying sales techniques.

                          I'm Dhinesh Babu, bought LG Split AC on 15-June-2011 and it stopped working after 2 days of purchase. Every time i am calling to the customer care the reply is 'your complaint will be resolved in 24 hrs', and now it is almost 12days x 24 hours.

                          If they couldn't give a service to the customer, why they should have an option of customer care, service center and all. Can someone say how to make legal action against them. I am very much frustrated now.
                          And i don't want to leave this issue just like that.

                          It is been resolved. Thanks for everyone actually works on this issue. But the way customer services works in our country is really very bad. If they commits something they should stick on to that. A customer will be happy if even they commit after 3-4 days and comes on time to resolve the issue.

                            Hi,
                            My name is Atif, recently I have bought a fridege from LG Electronics Showroom, ToliChowki, Hyderabad.
                            When I had gone to the store I was promised that I will be getting the fridge from warehouse, I insisted that I do not want the fridge which was displayed in the showroom. I noted down the serial number of the fridge in the display. Inspite of repeted saying to the shopkeeper he sent me the fridge which was on display. The defrost knob does not work as someone has broken it previously when it was on display.
                            The second thing which was promised to me was fridge stand, salesman had told me its not available currently and shortly it will be sent to my home. It's been a month even after repeated going to the store I get the same excuse.
                            Please look into it, I am very dissatisfied with the service provided to me and repeated lies.

                              I bought front load washing machine three yrs back. I called for repair, they are giving request ID twice but there is no action after that.parts of its machine will take more time(customer care people only said).
                              i could not use almost a month. I am strongly recommend don't buy LG Products. service was/is/will be very Poor.

                              LG Washing Machine — Poor servicing done

                              Sir,
                              I got my LG Washing machine (6.5 Kg Capacity) Dreemaz from your authorized service station (Beeta Services Geejgarh Vihar Jaipur) and got delivery today i.e. 23.03.09. The Serial number is 31122IL 012154 and invoice number is H26693/A/3951 dated 23.03.09. On put to it on operation, it was noticed that all switches are fixed in reverse directions and the water from the drum is drained out during running period and without operation of the drain switch. I have logged my complaint again to your service centre, who had informed that due to non-availability of correct switches the switches have been fixed switches in reverse direction. The same will be replaced in due course i.e. as and when switches are available. The service centre has already charged for two switches in their bills.
                              The state of affair is highly disgraceful and undesirable from a reputed company like yours.
                              You have put big banners that for attending complaints 211 system is being followed. I got delivey after repair on 8th day and that too with such a poor services as detailed above.
                              Kindly ensure that the defects are rectified today only.

                              We have been using an LG front loading washing machine since last 3 years. Due to some problem we called the mechanic and a person called SOMEN DEB attended our complaint. It is amazing that he is himself telling that I cannot fit the inlet water pipe with the system supplied by the LG company and have to buy a socket from him. It is ridiculous that the mechanic himself says that the system supplied by the company is inferior then the system proposed by him. It is my humble suggestion that such people should be recruited in the RnD section of the company instead of sending them for servicing. In the meanwhile we would request the company to send a slightly junior mechanic who can repair the machine instead of changing the design of the machine.
                              My LG washing machine is around 3 years old.. The product was working fine but suddenly the clothes were partially washed and the even the washing powder stain was gettin stuck on the clothes..

                              We registered a complaint, the person dropped in and did not even open the machine.. We were told that there is dirt inside the machine and a chemical wash is required. He charged around Rs.125 for the visit and told he would be sending a person to take the machine to the service center for the wash..

                              They took the machine for a day, charged me around 1000 rupees for the wash.. I dont know what was done but we couldnt find anything better.. Now the drier is not working after the wash and we are again given a TAT of 24 hours and the call center person is referring me back to the local franchisee and asking me to interact directly with him..

                              Im literally unhappy now that the working product has gone bad after a service..
                              since 2 weeks we have been calling the customer care to send a mechanic to check the washing machine but no one has come up .Even the mechanic is not coming after repeated calls to them.

                              this is a great dissatisfaction from LG service for our washing machine which is due for atleast 20 days now. Till now 5-6 technicians have come here and they are actually illiterates who have no idea of the actual problem in the washing machine. They have wasted our time and money of Rs 2200 approx. Everytime a novice came in the uniform of LG and replaced the parts- magnet, shockers and P.C.B.and that was useless.the problem is persistent till date. And shockingly those mechanics were so sure about the problem and just acted oversmart. Till now...we have filed atleast 10 complaints with LG service centre agra.and it is miserable to let you know that this is a third grade company with 4th grade service.We will not refer any product of LG to anyone now. We are currently using around 10 products of LG and it is really a big irony and we are going to change them as soon as possible.The last fellow who came on 28th nov. told that PCB will be replaced which had been replaced within last 10 days...than how is it possible that a new PCB has a fault and if so...than why is it so.the last fellow who came told he will bring a new PCB and will replace it again and machine works ok than it is ok...this is a total guesswork..and the mechanics are hopeless.it is monday night and nobody has come to replace the P.C.B. as told by him.

                              LG/Washing machine — Poor Service

                              Sir, On 02.06.2010 I have made a Complaint that my LG Washing Machine is not working. My complaint No is C [protected]. Despite six reminders of phone no one approached me till today. DP Singh, 625/DI, Housefed Complex, New Amritsar.
                              I have registered a complaint with LG service regarding my washing machine on 2 or 3 November 2010. An engineer checked it and said the PCB Panel had to be changed. I was told it would be replaced post Diwali.
                              Phone calls were never answered. When nothing happened, I registered a second complaint - No[protected]. There was no acknowledgment even then.
                              I followed up and the engineer finally showed up on 15 November only to tell me that the PCB Panel as well as the water intake motor had to be changed. He changed the PCB panel, and informed me that the motor would be replaced within 2 days. It is 8 days now, and there is no response.
                              Their cell nos as well as landline are never reached. Even sms did not work.
                              Am disgusted with such apathy.

                              Your Service Engineer came today ie 16.04.11 to my residence at Rajula, He says after this parts put also RAJULAPRESSOR SWITCH PENDING, , , 6600FA1704B, , , POA[protected] machine is not working.
                              Service Engineer recommended to bring LG washing machine from Rajula to Bhav Nagar, ie around 140 kilo meter distance, how I will bring there. I think your service Engineer not properly checked by Washing machine.

                              After Warranty period onwards My LG washing machine not working. My washing machine purchased on 01.12.2008 after warranty period just 20 days after My LG washing was breakdown.
                              Your service enginner 1st repaired my washing on 18.12.2010,

                              Now again 2nd time machine is repaired on 04.04.2011. Your representative came on 05.04.11 he says parts required I will bring again. He came by today he says bring LG washing at Bhav Nagar my residence to that place is around 140 km. I have to hire vehicle to bring to Bhav Nagar, transportation cost Rs. 7000/- I have to spend for washing machine repair.

                              Sir, Kindly confirm whether you can repair it or not, I will take final decision because” Your LG washing machine made for only 2 years working condition after words machine may or may not work. This is for quality of LG. I can say present market condition LG is no.1 Product if customer goes against LG product, you can count your business, what will happen imagine.

                              Kindly solve my LG washing machine as early as possible, because this is your Company Imagine & prestige issue.

                              We have registered our compliant for above Washing Machine LG (WP9005) repair, which got serviced incomplete by one of your Service Engineer with Invoice # 12719 & TCR No. KHYD1/B/4719.

                              I just want to understand, what is the problem in the machine & why it is taking long time to resolve the issue and why there is no follow up / update by LG concerned team to customers..

                              Since, LG is an global & corporate company I was under perception there wouldn’t be any service issue at the time of requirement & had purchased this brand with my satisfaction .. Due to bad experience on the service engineers & poor customer service response, I am deciding myself to not procure any more LG brand applicance in future & also want to share this feedback to my friends network.

                              Kindly let me know whether we can have the response immediately to understand my above perception is wrong & need to correct it.

                              I am very much disappointed your worst service.Last week I have registrared complain, some one has taken complain, no one turned up, again I have registared another complain which complain number is RNA[protected] dated 26th May 2011, call center promissed me some one will call within 24 hrs but I have not yet received any call from LG.Such kind of worst service you are providing to your existing customer.

                              Had called to repair the microwave LG Model No MB 344AA, service guy said the model is outdated and the spare parts are not available and took 280 Rupees as service charge without doing anything.

                                I bought one LG P500 mobile phone from The mobile store Vaishali Sec.-4,Ghaziabad, on 5 March 2011. Its memory card is showing ERROR. In this regard, I brought my phone to service cntre of noida, sec 15 and they are saying that its hardware should be changed. Now its 2 weeks gone they have not arranged the hardware. I made 4 to 5 calls at different times but they are neglecting and delaying. What should I do? Can I have any complaint number?

                                    I had purchased a 1.5 tons - 5 star rated split a/c model no LSA 5P5VFI . The purchase was done in oct 25 2010 and it was serviced twice after the installation. After the second service which was done in the month of June 2011, I find that the cooling is ineffective. Even when the A/C is in jet cool mode, the room temperature is seldom less than 28C. I feel that there is some problem in the machine. Please arrange to attend the problem

                                      I have bought a LG 1.5T split A/C on 12th June of 2011 and I installed it on 15th June of the same. For the first 4 days there was no problem. But for the last 4 days its not working. I have filed a complaint on 25.06.2011 by morning 10. they assured me that some technician will come and attend within some hours. But no one has come till now. I made call for three times, but the response is the same. Ihave a kid of 3 years old and hope u all know the housing structure and the hot climate of chennai.

                                      I'm very much disappointed at LG customercare service. I feel very bad that my baby could not sleep peacefully eventhough we spent almost 36,000 for the A/C.

                                      LG Split Air Conditioner — The conditioner not working

                                      We had bought 3 split air conditioners from Kay Associates, Nagpur, Maharashatra India who represented through Mr. Nikhil Jain as authorised dealers and service centres for LG. All the conditioners are giving problem and not running properly. The instant case is about one of them which had its PC card damaged since last more than 1.5 months and the dealer is not in position to repair it for an undisclosed reason, even not picking up the phone call and the office also remains closed. The service of LG is very poor at this authorised dealer.

                                      LG Split AC — swing not working and closing

                                      I HAVE CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE ON 3RD, 6TH, 7TH AND 8TH OF MAY 2010. THE COMPLAIN NO. IS C [protected]. BUT NOBODY HAS ATTENDED MY COMPLAINT TILL TODAY. THE SERVICE IS VERY POOR.

                                      LG Split Air Conditioner — Not working in 1 month - Bad customer service

                                      I got a LG 1.5 ton Split Air Conditioner that costs me around 26,500 INR. The unit workked well for the first two weeks. Gradually, the room temperature started to increase above 35 and it would touch "High" finally. When i called the customer service, the technician was rude and was never co-operative. Such a poor care for a customer? How can such a big organization does not manage to get a good service department?

                                      After a month now, the unit won't switch on too. Called customer care three times and still there is no good response. I am still waiting for the unit to work paying the whole price in cash. I HAVE DECIDED NEVER TO GO FOR LG FOR ANY PRODUCT AND I WOULD NEITHER RECOMMEND MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO GO FOR LG.

                                      LG/Split Air Conditioner — Bad Customer Service

                                      I have purchased a split air conditioner from LG a couple of weeks back. The AC was not working for the last 4 days and i contacted the LG customer care center. They said the request is filed and a technician will attend the fault within 24 hrs. Almost 2 days have gone and no one till turned up to fix the issue. When i contacted the customer care center again I am given the same answer of 24 hrs again.

                                      I am very disappointed with the service and would like to bring this to the notice of the consumer compliants forum.
