Bought an LG TV 4-5 years back , 29” 100hz for appx 30,000.
The set broke down in may2010 , wherein it was repaired by LG service on chargeable basis and also put under AMC against advance payment.
The set again had same problem in Dec 2010 , where after 25-30 calls the same engineers visited and rectified.
However , the problem persisted and again it has been almost 1-2 calls everyday , but the set has not been repaired. The same engineers visited and informed that some components need to be replaced .
On escalating the issue , i have been informed that currently LG has made these components obsolete and the set will need to be replaced with the matter having been escalated internally by them .

It is regrettable that after over 50 calls , i still do not get any firm confirmation from any LG senior officer .
I wonder why LG has taken an AMC if they cd not maintain their own product!
It only reflects on a culture of making a quick buck at the expense of customers.
I have decided not to buy any LG product in future considering the pathetic service levels, and will not hesitate to put this experience across relevant blogs if the company continues to make me run after them .

Hope someone senior and responsible in LG will appreciate this callous attitude of the company and rectify this matter without further reminders.

    Purchased LG Washing machine front loader on 26 jan

    They told theyl do home delivery on 29 jan, but till today i.e. 13 feb 2011 we dint got our product, i[censored] call them say some or the other reason.

    please help with this problem

    LG/Washing machine — Bad Service for Delivery

    I purchased a LG washing machine from shop Name "NEXT". At the time of booking the washing machine the Manager told me that the machine will be delivered within 2 days, however it has been more than 4 days and till now they have not delivered the washing machine to me. When I call for inquiry they provide pathetic reasons and tell me that it will be delivered within a day and that never happens.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I have purchased LG make refrigerator model no. GL 478YTQG4 (as mentioned in Delivery Challan & Invoice) on Date : 13.11.2010 from M/s. Mother Electronics, 1-2,Aditya Chambers, Opp. Kalyanbaug Petrol Pump, Station Road,Valsad.396001 vide their delivery Challan No. RC 8634 Dt. 13.11.2010 and Invoice no. 1011 699 Dt. 13.11.2010.I am attaching scan copy of above documents for your record and ready reference.

      After your representative installed refrigerator at my home after fixing accessories they checked every needful aspect for smooth running your supplied refrigerator. After few days my wife observed that fridge giving not that much cooling so she first of called to M/s. Mother Electronics but they told her that you have to give your complain to LG customer care help line[protected] so she called and give complain to your help line and complain No. was[protected]. Against our complain your representative came to my house and checked your refrigerator and set temperature controller normal to summer condition(what he said to my wife) and he asked to my wife that fridge was ok but problem in your electric supply so as he suggest I purchase Voltage stabilizer – Capri Make to resolved the an issue. That time I was also talking to your service engineer (I do not know his designation) Mr. Irfan Sheikh Mob No. [protected] and Mr. Irfan also talk to your service man. This is for information.

      After another few days same problem observed and my wife give complain to customer care. Complain No.[protected] they said service man will visit to your home within 24 hours but they come to next day and checked refrigerator and they said that it may be problem of gas so we have take it to our service center and this time we will checked everything so you will not find any problem in future so we give approval to take it for checking and said gas recharging. They give us old refrigerator as stand by (we are appreciate for that help.) Few days passed they come with refrigerator they set all controls and installed and said now onwards you will not find any problem.

      Yesterday we found fridge not giving cooling so my wife called again to customer care and complain No.[protected]. Today your service man checked and said due to over heating in compressor this will happed so you close it and start after few hours. What will happen I do not know I am writing this after your service man just gone.

      I am very much upset with your products and your service man. We want to replace this refrigerator with new one. My self and my wife also call to your customer care for replacement and they give us mobile no. [protected] and said talk with him/her. (Mr./Ms Verma ??) I have tried six times for contact but first three times he/she not lifting the phone and then switch off.??.. I am very much upset..

      I can not handle this type of issues in future and I want new same model refrigerator as replacement. I hope your company will help us.

      I have not found Model No. GL478YTQG4 in your catalogue and website which is another an issue.

      Hoping for your favorable quick action and reply.

        i gave my lg gs290 mobile phone to a authorised mobile repairing center of lg the said we have to change the pcb kit and still they are doing so but yesterday when i went to recieve my mobile they said that it will take almost 5 days more to be get repaired by i gave my mobile a month ago and since they are telling that it will take 5 to 6 days to repair at while doing it a month have passed i am really upset and hope lg will help me getting back my cell or take a serious action against the service provider.

          yesterday i ranjit panda resident of raipur asddu had written about my complaint about Lg service being very poor and not paying attention to customers.My washing machine demo was not being carried out since i purchased my machine on 4th of this month.i am thankful to you all as today my problem has been sorted out .My warrenty card has been signed by my dealer and the demo for the washing machine was carried out today.i take my complaint back thankyou once again.

            my name is Ranjit panda staying in LIG-818, housing board colony,sector-5,saddu.
            I have purchased a washing machine from Shriram electronics of LG brand model no-WP-95162D on Friday the 4th of February 2011.I have been waiting for a service person to come and give the demo and finish the paper work of the above said machine since that day, as my warranty card has also not been signed and stamped by the dealer saying that it would be done only after the service person comes and installs or gives the demo of the machine.I took the the ID of the call which had been logged by the dealer at the service center for the demo and been continuously calling the service center for the demo till at last they stopped picking up my phone yesterday in the evening.I feel very sorry for my self and repent for the mistake i have done by purchasing the machine of this brand with such pathetic customer service .please do some thing about this and help me out.

              This is Kishore GL from kakinada, Andhra Pradesh Unemployed seeing paper ad in eenadu of AP (Earn 25K-50K PM setup CFL tube, Paper plate. We provide R/M Buyback Agr. [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] L.G. Light Regd ) This is the paper ad they have given seeing this i called them and they said to send SMS of my address i did and they sent brochure regarding packages of different costs depending upon quantity of raw material. I had taken 10,000 Rs DD in bank SBI, Kakinada, AP on L.G. LIGHT (Regd) on the date 14/09/2009 according to their rules in brochure through proffesional courier and sent to them ( DD no : 477960 ) and after two days they called me and said that they recieved my DD and they said that I will receive material in 10 days and they said that their technical engineer will come to my house and he will train me how to essemble CFL tube. After 10 days I tried to call to their phone numbers that they have given but no response after 6 months they sent material of cost 4000 rs to savani transport with 50% damage material, from that day their all phone numbers are in out of service Pls see that like me so many unemployed person will not be cheated by that . 10,000 Rs is big money to me so pls see that they must be punished and recovery of my money THANKING YOU

                Hello Team,

                Im facing Hand Set Memory full issue. I could not able to add any contacts to phone and the memory is struck at 298/1000. If i try to delete any contact, it is saying SIM Intializing please wait and it is continuesly being like that.

                If we add any contact to Sim memory, then it is giving SIM Intializing alert.

                I have tried bellow options and could not able to get succeed.
                1. 1809#*500# not working.
                2. Setting -> Phone settings -> Headset reserved memory -> clear All.
                3. Contacts -> settings -> clear contacts -> Headset (count is not raising)
                4. Open contacts list -> delete -> Select all -> delete (delete failed).

                  its true..the lg is telling lie to sell its products..i am depressed.
                  its vry true...no support...i downloaded apk file frm pc n tried to install in mob it dint wrkd n even wen i tried installin frm google market it doesnt work...market says file not available...dis is real cheatin wid us...frst tym i switchd from sony to lg n see :X...hope i hv to go bck to sony again...des lg guys r jst...
                  Its really a bad experience buyin a smart phone which does not support flash ... I hate this thing ..can u please refund my money??? or give me a patch for flash??
                  i am searching for flash player v 10.1 in google marketplace but no results for the same.
                  can you tell me what should i search for in android google market to downlaod FLASH PLAYER
                  I do find it difficult to get flash player from android market. LG people do something asap otherwise face legal action.
                  I have sent my complaint regarding the flash player is advertised and not provided on phone, its kind of cheating from the company. But the response from LG is not positive, they are simply saying its a hardware problem. LG cannot answer like this, I called LG personnels so many times. But the answer is not satisfying. This is a kind of cheating, how can they sell a product without testing it inhouse and without making people aware. LG is saying its mistakenly printed on the box, which is not acceptable. If you look from company side, they just wanted to sell their product by advertising and saying their product have all the services and features your require. This is a international company and we cant expect them to do so...I need answers and so all...
                  On the comment on user "drsree78", I completely agree and we should take a legal action against the company and their negative/very neutral responses. As i stated above we are being ceated/misguided to buy the product seeing the box. Its a 3G product, but without flash its not. You cant view online videos, online TV. Indian people are cricket fans and so I, I brought the phone so I could watch the matches on move. But i am not able to after spending 12+ thousand rupees...Need LG to take action on this...or the matter will be escalated...
                  Yes, i also facing the same issue with Adobe Flash player not installled with the LG optimus P500.
                  I tried to search in the Market but was not use.

                  Can any 1 help me to get flash player from any link which is working or from where i can download.

                  LG/P-500 — Product Complaint

                  I have bought LG-P500 set 2 months back. Before this set, I have used Motorolla, Nokia and Samsung sets and found this set worst among others. There are so many issues comming out in just two months of handling is ridiculas.
                  Issues are listed as below:
                  1) Battery is not working even for a day (This is my personal phone, not business one.)
                  2) Automatically turn off irrespective of battery power.
                  3) Incoming call alart when set is busy with another call, is inconsistant. Sometime viabrate and sometime doesnt. Wondoring..
                  4) Even if application are not being used, they consume memory.

                  This happens just by clicking on Menu Icon... Ridiculas... I am really frustrated with this phone and wont suggest anybody to go for LG ever.

                    I bought a LG LED 42 inch tv and with in 10 days some lines started cropping up. I called the technician and he promised me to replace the TV, But after 2 more days more lines started coming up and slowly it creeped to half screen. Now I don;'t have a tv to watch and I am not sure when the replacement will come. Its really frustrating after paying 70k for the tv and having a problem with in 10 days.

                      LG LCD 26 INCHES

                      Poor customer service is always with LG anyway this is seconday problem,
                      Main problem is LG selling dead tvs and second hand LCD TVs, this type of LCD tvs will work only the first day after that dead(not working at all), they are selling for first hand sale price by putting LG dealer show rooms,
                      if we give complaint on this - it is horrible, no response, no solution, more over they will torture by asking so many details to the customer and by telling so much of procedure to the customer,
                      Once after the given a complaint then no response from their side, customer only needs to be followed up,.
                      See how bad with LG, if this thing happens after 1 year o[censored]sing LG TV is fine, but in mycase very early - Below is my problem (Status is no solution simply lost money by buying LG products):

                      but it delivered at 9pm on the sameday, for wall fixing service enginerrs came on 3-Feb-2011 at 11.30am after i given so many calls to shop and callcentre complaints(3 days taken after i purchased TV from the shop), then only one day (3-feb-2011) worked fine, from 4th day onwards not working, it means it dead completely,
                      I given a call to shop where i purchased, he told lots of procedure and finally he said he cannot replace,
                      I complained to call centre they given complaint number - RNA[protected] to shop, but no solution, finally service engineers came to my house to take report from me at 5-Feb-2011 at 7pm, i given a report but no response - nothing, I am not all happy - just 1 day i could watch my TV, then dead - lost 22000/- all beacuse of LG LCD cheating with customers, I want a justice on that,
                      Now I don't want LCD TV back, beacuse i am unhappy with all about.. i don't want to see any of LG Products in my home...
                      Now, I want my money back with compensation(Why compensation: I lost my happy in buying this TV) till today,
                      I would strongly like to convey my displeasure and dissatisfaction the LG products,
                      it has caused me a lot of inconvenience over the period.
                      So i kindly request you to immediately look into the matter and do the needful.

                      12/1/2011, 1130 HRS CALLED MS SANJEEVANI, COO, REPLIED WILL CALL IN 10 MINUTES, NO ANSWER TILL DATE.

                      13/1/2011, AFTER N NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS GOT THRU TO MR. SWAPNIL, SERVICE MANAGER, ASKED TO CONTACT MR. ANKUR DOSHI.

                      13/1/2011, MR. DOSHI CALL 000/ NOT KEEN TO RESPOND, NO INTERESTED IN WORKING.

                      14/1/2011 CALLED MR. SWAPNIL, INFORMED IS UNDER TRNG, WILL GET BACK, NO LUCK SO FAR.

                      OBSERVATIONS: ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH CO., PRODUCT, SERVICE/CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONNEL.

                        Purchased a L.G slimT.V of 21SB2RG on[protected] and immediately lodged a complaint. The complaint number was C10B2233145, the complaint was attended and the undersigned was informed that the color variation in the TV was on account of magnets available in the speakers of audio system. The engineer from the company demonstrated a device which caused color variation due to magnets, the undersigned removed the speakers and noticed color disfiguration still existed on the left side of TV screen and fresh complaint was lodged on[protected] and the complaint was registered as RNA[protected] by the representative of the company named Anju who promised that the engineer from the company would be visiting within 24hrs and as promised the engineer from the company named Mr Mukesh having mobile no [protected] visited the undersigned and was pointed out the disfiguration on the TV set, the said Mr Mukesh said that there was no disfiguration, the undersigned specifically mentioned not satisfied in the coloumn of signature of the owner however Mr Mukesh stated that the Tv set is in order and went away, thereafter the undersigned again informed the said Mr Mukesh at 5:53 evening about the color disfigration he promised to visit but has not visited till date.
                        Really disappointed by the aftersales service of L.G electronics and plan to buy new Tv by other reputed company

                        LG is worst
                        This has reference to my complaint number RNA[protected]. In response to this complaint i received a message from Mr Mukesh on[protected] that he has received the picture tube and shall be replacing the same. Thereafter he visited the undersigned and changed the picture tube. However after changing the picture tube he realized that this picture tube was for slim model and not for ultraslim model and than he talked to the company person and reinstalled the original picture tube with a promise to change the picture tube soon. He again visited today i.e[protected] and changed the picture tube but found that the same is not working properly and told me to take the set to the service center near Sham Nagar, they kept the set and promised to deliver the same by evening however when in the evening the undersigned contacted the service center the manager Mr Ashok Kumar expressed his inability to deliver the same as the technician doing the job could not arrange the settings of the tv. On being asked if he could provide a standby he said he doesn't have any standby.
                        It is surprising to note that company claiming itself to be an international company does not care to provide for standby product. It is also surprising to note that technicians claimed by the company to be company trained could not make the correct setting in the span of 6 hours. It is equally doubtful if they will be able to give the Tv set by tommorow as claimed by them. If tv set is not provided by tomorrow and the standby is also not provided by the company and undersigned is compelled to buy a new tv set of any other company the LG Electronics will be responsible to bear the expenses of new tv set and this may be treated as a legal notice to the company M/s LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd. Also the behaviour of the service center staff is highly deplorable and condemnable with no sense of talking to a consumer much senior in age.

                          LG Washing Machinge 7 KG model WD 1050 F is got rusted and is in very bad shape. What type of Product company is manufactiring? risky of life.
                          This type of poor manufacuring product, person can get electic current also, becauseWashing machine required water.?
                          LG has to look in to the matter ,before we exslate the issue with higher authority of GOVT. of India- with photograph of Washing Machine. Jago Garhak Jago.

                            These is a complaint Regarding LG Desktop Branded PC. Model No. L7047. CFG No. C9341 BCI03IN. S/N 808NLBU00453(IN). Purchased Date :Oct 08. Warranty : 3 Yrs.

                            The problem in my PC was not shut downing. I have given a complaint in the 2nd week of Dec 10. Complaint No. RNA[protected]. The engineer visited my place and told the Mother-Board is to be replaced. Till 26th Jan 2011, No body visited my place inspite of repeated calling.

                            On 26th Jan 2011, I made a fresh complaint for it( New Complaint No. RNA[protected] and my Mother-Board was replaced on 1st Feb 2011, But the Mother board was of different Model, that too i seam is of very old model.

                            I should have got the same model Mother Board which I haven't got. I am very much facing a great trouble from last 3 months with my PC and using LG services.

                            I therefore request you to look after the matter as early as possible and arrange me a new Mother-Board of my previous Model so that i can enjoy LG products in my future life too.

                              Dear sir,
                              In the year 2009 we have purchased LG LCD 4 40K being a middle class family this was a huge amount jus after one year we are facing problem in the LCD. We have many times called LG representative everytime they cum they dont provide us a solution instead suggest us to increase the warranty by giving 8k which we thing is not needed coz they didnt even daignose the problem.
                              The just want to make money
                              Is this the quality LG provides after giving 40k i think they just want to make money by saying increase the warranty and v had to pay bcoz we are unknown to the problem. Ple help sir as we cannot invést this amt.

                                I am santosh Dube,
                                I have LG cookie Plus (GS500).. i have a full network while i am using my NOKIA phone at same place
                                with same Airtel number..& when using LG Phone for same Airtel number at same place then there is no
                                network in LG Phone,Sometimes its showing the full network & sometime its showing that "emergency calls only" or "No service" ......

                                so it is a big issue of LG phone...i just wanted to make a request to all LG Team members that please rectify the same.........

                                My LG Mobile KP 110 as its IMEI SV[protected] but reliance comm. says this is not valid IMEI nos. so what I have to do?

                                  I had purchased this LG Washing Machine in August 2008, fully automatic. Off recently from last 10 days i have been having some problem with the machine. My first complaint to the LG people was on 24th January 2011 the call centre people gave me the docket number[protected] and they informed us that the technician will come withing 24 hours to repair. He came did something and took the service charges, as a lay man it was difficult for us to know the fault.

                                  Next day early morning when we had to wash clothes the same problem occured. Again we called and they said they will attend us in 24 hours, but no one turned up.

                                  Phone calls were done on 31st and 1st they gave the service centres number and after two struggling hours i got through their number, they said that the old docket number will not be eligible so i was wrongly guided by the call centre people about the technician coming and doing up the machine.

                                  Now they are not paying any attention to the complaint that we are trying to do.

                                  Please do take some action at the earliest.
                                  I am sunil babu, I complaint about My washing Machine on1/2/11 and after every day I contacted the call center about the mater and every day they assure it will attended within 24 hr.till to date no body contacted.

                                    I purchased LG double door refrigerater (model GL338VE5) in September, 2010. One week after the purchase, we notice that gaskets get detatched from the door while opening the door. So doors doesn't fix properly and icing is formed in vegetables tray. Moreover, compressor makes a 'thud' sound when put on and off.
                                    Whenever we made a complaint or follow up, they give us new complaint number every time. We never knew what happened to all the open complaints whether somebody close them without attending the job.

                                    One should think hundred times before buying LG refrigerator. After sales service is the poorest of all.

                                      All the while i had Nokia mobile, but I purchased the handset GD510 just been 6 months ago since then problems are endless not just with mob but with Service centre too! After 2 months my mob started restarting automatically. I took it to Rajajinagar sevice centre, they just formatted the mob and asked me use it without examining the exact problem. Problem still persited, took it again, that time they said there is problem with motherboard and it should be replaced. They did not have a spare handset and they expected me to leave the mobile with them for indefinite time as they did not have stock of new motherboard. my visits to that place became regular asking for updates of new motherboard. Finally i handed them my mob for motherboard replacement without a spare mobile! they got it done after 2 weeks! and they claim with posters saying best customer service offered in short time! really very disheartening service! The battery life has decreased considerably after their service, so again went there to get it replaced day before yesterday, but looks the current one is also the same! i've changed my earphone twice already. i'm really fed up of this mob and the service centre people! i wish i had stuck to Nokia mobile,had used it without much problem for 4 years! i regret this so badly!!!

                                        I have purchased LCD Refrigerator 260 liters ( Model Mentioned above)

                                        The model which I opted is Red in colour. The fridge was delivered on
                                        [protected] at 12.30 pm , your delivery person has opened the pack and
                                        shown the Fridge. To my astonishment , it was Baby pink instead of Red
                                        , which I opted. I refused to take delivery of the Fridge , but your
                                        delivery person insisted to take the delivery and requested to report
                                        the same to you.

                                        I, immediately called your despatch section and informed the matter ,
                                        later on I called your Adyar branch , one Mr Guna. I was informed by
                                        your personnel that the Fridge will be replaced by red one and the
                                        pink fridge will be taken back at the time of delivery.

                                        Even after 20 days, the Fridge was not replaced.

                                        Kindly , deliver the Fridge( red) immediately and take back the Pink
                                        Fridge, because we cannot keep the unused/unpacked Refrigerator in our
                                        Home for long time.

                                        Please note that if you are not delivering the Fridge(Red) within one
                                        week, I will be restrained to make stop payment of EMI pertaining to
                                        Bajaj Finance.
