My LG Split AC remote is not working. I called the toll free number they asked me to contact the local LG service centre to repair the remote or buy a new one. The person also advised me that I can visit the service centre to avoid the service charges and I need to pay only the cost of the remote. I called the LG service center in Sahid Nagar Bhubaneswar and went there with my defective remote. They accepted the defective remote for repair and promised to complete the job by next day. The next day, i went there again as per the promised time, but even after waiting for 30 mins, they could not advise me on the status of the repair...reason the person (Anand) who accepted the remote from me was not in. After that I have been calling them everyday and sometime 3 - 4 times a day to follow up on the repair status, but they just keep on promising next day. After I pushed very hard, Mr Anand agreed to send a new remote or the repaired remote on the 5th day. But even after that and after another 5 calls from me, finally the serviceman arrived with a remote. My goodness...he did not even check if that remote was working. that was a dead remote and the was asked by Mr Anand to collect Rs.643. Rs 202 for the remote and Rs 441 for the service charge. First of all, as advised by LG, I drove to the service centre to avoid the service charge...secondly; they sent the remote after 20 odd follow up calls from me and now Rs 441/- for delivering the remote???? Is this the way reputed company like LG want to make money??

LG AC — Non commencement of ECS

I have purchased LG AC unit from TMC Hyderabad with initial payment of Rs.2499/- on[protected] and one more payment of Rs.2499/- on[protected] but so far ECS has not commenced which is higly regretable on your part

      I bought an LG S5200 mobile handset spending Rs. 9000+ but after one year i found its battery not working. So I bought a battery by paying Rs. 700. After another year, the battery again failed. I searched a lot (Whole Kolkata & Durgapur of West Bengal) but couldn't find a battery. When complained to LG Customer Care through e-mail, they just washed off their hands by replying with that they stopped producing that handset/battery. Please help.

        i am anurag daga(complaint no.-C10A1217178). i had bought a computer a month back . two of my wires got fused due to loose connection in the power plug of the monitor. i had complained and the next day a representative had come too. He told that it would be repaired by the next day or so .ten days have passed i have been continuously been calling them they tell us that they do not have the parts.It has caused a lot of problems i want to get that repaired as soon as possible

            mobile GX300 dual sim purchased in first week of October 2010. battery gets drained within 24hrs without any usage. On first day of visiting service centre in Mumbai, they make a note of the problem, collect the handset, give you the receipt and ask you to come next day. During next day visit, they make you meet the technician and then he asks what is the problem and you are given assurance that we will check it thoroughly and let you know. So your two days are gone without mobile and that too a dual sim mobile. Plus your two days visit to the service centre and that too taking a leave from your office.
            Is this the way a world renowned company give service? do they keep any track on their service centres or they just appoint anyone who has 200sq.ft commercial space and ready to invest?
            i was told that the problem can be with the battery or with the motherboard. I have not collected the mobile yet and don't know what will be the answer.
            If it is battery problem i want battery replacement and if it is motherboard problem, I want handset replacement.
            I hope LG guys are reading complaints on these websites.
            Just by spending crores of rupees on advertisement is not going to help. I have many LG products at home and I was expecting a much better service from this company.
            I am just waiting for the solution to my mobile problem.

            Will update on my complaint after getting my handset back.

              I purachase a LG GD510 mobile handset from ahmedabad on 26th June-10. I have problem with the handset's touchpad on 15th July-10 and i went to ahmedabad to repair it.Than i got my handset back on 15th Aug-10. Then again same problem with my handset on 20th Oct-10 and i went to ahmedabad again.
              So I have a question I paid 6200/- rs. cash then my handset have problems whitin 3 months
              I want to replace my handset or my money back.

              lg / lg mobile GD 510 — problems in handset

              till i buy my lg mobile phone i am not satisfied by this phone .There r so much problems which i face like battery problem, offenly phone is hang up itself and there is one major issue that is phone is automatically dail up any number ,these r the major issues which i face offenly in day today and i when i go to there care centre they did not responced well they all ways said come in two three day
              please take some proper action against this issue

                i brought LG washing machine from Vandana Distributors nashik. it took 2 days to deliver the machine at my door step.
                i called customer care they told me one of the service engineers will contact me in 3 hours & in 24 hours the demo & installation will be done.an engineer named SAGAR (mob:[protected]) called me n said that he will be coming @5 pm at my house, then around 5:30 i had to call him so he said he'll come tomorrow around 11am. next day i called him around 1pm he said he is out of station he will send another man, he called me around 4:30 pm he said he will come around 11am next day.next day i called him i called directly customer care, a guy named SALMAN attented my called saying he is sorry on behalf for the late service, he said the installation will be done maximum till evening & he gave me nasik's head services a lady named mrs patil(mob:[protected]). i called her around 6pm, she said it will be done same day before 8pm but a person mr X(mob:[protected]) said he will come around 11am next day. next day i called mr X around 12noon he said that company is loads of customer to attend so it takes time, he will reach me around 1pm.
                after that i called again customer care n they gave my no. to service center in nasik {[protected]}. then a person named SANDEEP called me saying that service engineer will come at my place exactly @ 2pm.
                but once again it didnt happen, then i called at service center[protected] around 3 pm, I dont remember the persons name that picked up my call he said service engineer will come but i said that i want to speak to their service manager so he transfered call to service manager his name is BALERAO. he said that they have loads of customers to attain then there were some rude words exchanged and at the end he said "Tumne koi esaan nahi kiya LG ki machine leke" [censored]ing son of B****.
                After few i gotta call from earlier service engineer SAGAR ( mob:[protected]) he said he will be coming around 3:45 pm.
                he came at that time n while showing demo he said " we have loads of customer to attend" then i said " in todays competitive world nobody( read customers) waits for any company"
                then SAGAR replied " tumne LG ki machine kharidi hai LG company ko nahi"
                see the way talk to their customers [censored]ing son of B****.
                i would rather say purchase from samsung or some other non reputed company, they will give good service.
                LG means LOWER GRADE [censored]ing S**T company

                  Lg Microwave — no response

                  I have launched a complaint on 05 June 2011 against LG Micro Wave oven & the costumer care had given me the reference no-RMA[protected] & told me that within 24hrs are technical person will come at your place to resolve the problem but waiting more than 30hrs I had again called the costume care centre & I was surprised that there was no complaint launched after rectifying the issue they told me our technical person was not able to locate the address.
                  Boss I am surprised if the company if working like this without checking the availability of the client and just full filling the issues then its better company should give the extra money to some poor people’s at least they will be happy.....................
                  I just wanted to know whether I did a mistake buying a LG product because now I have a doughty at the time of purchasing the product company persons committed & given the many asureties but now they are not standing even on one.

                    KM335 LG Mobile Phone bought in January 2010 at Kolkata.

                    The phone worked for 10 months then the keyboard went unresponsive. LG service promised to repair it within Warranty in 2 days but still not received it even though 12 days passed from Promised date.
                    Service centre said please phone "tomorrow" for the 6th time......going on for last 6 days.
                    Should I take LG to Consumer court ???

                        Hi,

                        I am really disstisfied from the service proved by LG Elctronics. I wanted to speak with LG for repiaring of my Washing MAchine and after a lot of effort , finally after a fornight on 23rd Sept 2010, Mr. Parsuram from LG services [ Fair Deal Services ] came and picked up my faulty washing MAchine . Challan number was - 455. He confirmed that , they will provide a replacement till the time my machine gets rectified , but they never gave any replacement.

                        Now It's almost amonth & I don't have any clue as to what are they doing.

                        Now , we are totally clueless as to what to do. Finally after lot of efforts I called up Mr Sunil Wadhwa - [protected], & asked him about the status. he told me that he will call back in 10 minutes after checking the status. BUT As expected I didn't get any call. Then I called him after 2 hours & he again told me that he is yet to get the details & some mr. DILIP [ [protected] ] is calling me with the status . he put me on hold & then disconnected. Then my wife Ritu verma [ She was co-ordinating for this since very begining ' recd a call from Dilip & he told that they are not getting the spare part { Dreum }, hence the machine is still not rectified & is looking for this & will try getting this fix ASAP.

                        Then I called DILIp but he didn't pick up the call [ As expected ]. I am totally clueless as what to do. they are not reverting, not showing any repsonsibility. very careless & rude attitute of the employees. I have lodged a complaint on LG cenbtral customer care number as well [ BUT they dont even know how to communicate, so I don;t think anything gonna happen through them ]

                        Now, request you to please get this complaint registered & let me get my washing machine back from LG.

                          Bought a LG Lcd tv last year. It has konked out with no power supply reaching it. Despite calling up continuously everyday in the past week at their customer care number [protected], no technician has yet even cared to call. Each call to the customercare number is responded by a man/woman with an impersonal, machine accent who keeps repeating that my complaint would be attended to soon. Calls to the dealer -Ideal Agencies, Trivandrum- from whim I bought too has been of no use. I will never buy a LG product in future as for them customer is crap.

                          this is in regards with the person who had come to service my lg tv after my 3-4 times of calling the customer care the person finally attended the tv complain. he initially told us that his service charge wud be 1500/- where as company people told it would be 1100/- later he dint even check the tv as he said it is use less to repair the tv instead sell and go for a new one. without attending to my complain he just left the place. hence forth i request the concerned department to look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest.

                          I faced similar trouble. Both Customer care and Service guy mentioned different charges. 50% difference on their words. Wow!!

                          LG service department should be charged and to introduced in front of people that What it cost for poor and untrustworthy services.

                          Then I have purchased LG LED 42 inches from Vijay Sales, Pune - Satara Rd branchrecently. No demo person turned up yet. Secondly the salesmen gave me coupons of TATA sky saying pay only instillation charges and you will get 45 days free channels of your choice. I have enquired with tata people they said no such scheme is going on. It is simply cheating. No service at all. People at this centre are arrogant. I will circulate the mail to all my frienda in INDIA and abrod saying do not buy LG products.

                          LG 42 LCD — LG unresolved customer complaint prolonged

                          To CEO, COO, CFO, MD and all Top Executives,

                          Dear Sirs,

                          This is with the sheer disappointment w/ LG service and quality, I am compelled to write this email to you.Without
                          taking much of your time here, below is the quick summary of the harrassment I am facing from LG:

                          1) Bought a brand new LG LCD Television 42 inch 42LD460 on[protected].
                          2) TV had dead pixel issue and some of the files like MKV/VOB did not work.
                          3) Reported Pixel problem (Complaint# Reference: RNA[protected], RNA[protected]. After struggling
                          so much finally received replacement of TV 2 months back.
                          4) Observed another problem that some of the files like MKV/VOB does not work sometimes as specified in
                          Manual (Pg.43 under USB device section)
                          5) I purchased this TV from a top dealer in Hyderabad Adishwar. My requirement was simple before i purchase the tv
                          (i.e. My tv should play MKV/Blue ray movies and other movie formats). They promised me it is supported tested some
                          mkv files and finally i purchased this TV. However TV does not play as specified or promised.
                          6) Reported problem (complaint Ref#RNA[protected]
                          7) I was directed to local Hyd CCO to report my concern.
                          8) I was referred to Technical experts. Without goign through documentation i was told this feature is not supported
                          9) i was advised to talk to Area manager. Initially was good response as soon as this problem could not be solved.
                          He stepped back and keep pushing me to contact Adishwar, inspite me tellign this is LG product issue.
                          10) This complaint is raised on 3rd Sept and many many calls to call center, cco, area manager, escalted to floor supervisor,
                          I always hear from them talkign to Area manager again which has not solved my problems.
                          12) Today 16th Sept time just spent without no resoltuion.
                          13) No direction or next steps given to me inspite of requesting several times.
                          14) No escalation matrix inspite of requesting higher customer srvice office engagement.
                          15) Somebody should think out of the box and think to solve th eproblem rather traditional ways of say this TV does not
                          work with this feature. Also from customer service perspective someone has to think out of box considering sometime they are
                          consumers.
                          16) Raised voice of customer request, trust me i don't know if anything been considered seriously.

                          Since I have no direction and whom to report, I am attempting to raise the concern with this group.

                          Being LG customer and fan for last 10+ years now I am changing my view due to poor service and quality.

                          My questions:

                          * Why do you say Life's Good with LG...when it obviously is NOT!
                          * Who is responsible for LG product Quality...I as a consumer demand my right to speak to the person responsible for quality assurance
                          * I no longer desire any product from LG...will you offer me MY MONEY BACK...

                          Please take some time out to look into these issues...I know you might be getting lot of such complaints owing to bad quality products that are shipped to the customer, but it probably is high time when we start giving quality and customer service a serious thought.

                          Hope it will be in your powers to answer these questions and resolve my issues.

                              Hi,

                              I logged a complaint for my compressor and it got rectified on 29th Sept 2010. The repair centre is suppose to check the Coils for any leakage or probable leakage and fix those before filling gas and sending it back. But the gas leaked in next 8 - 10 days and I raised complaint again on 14th Oct and now they are asking the Gas filling charges. There is still gas in the AC as it is leaking slowly confirming the fault of Technical centre of not reparing the machine fully.

                              This is the fault at the Service centre Technician and they should be penalized for this but they are penalizing me (Customer).

                              Moreover, there is no channel of escalation or contact details of nodal officer given on website to raise the complaint at higher level. The Service head number provided by Customer care is of some IVR and no one picks the phone.

                              I believe that maintaining the Quality of Work is responsibility of LG and not the Service centre and Customer should not be penalized for this.

                              I have having an issue with my TV, I send a email to service center requesting to send a person at my place to repair. I haven’t got any response. Tried to call customer care many times, but waiting time too long. Bangalore service doesn’t bother to answer these calls.Can you let me know when can i expect a person to my home to repair my TV?

                              LG India is worst in terms of providing the service.. LG products are faulty and LG services are never going to help you instead they will simply ignore you without any kind of fear.

                              It’s Vibitha K, Me and my family had
                              purchased the automatic washing machine –model LG WM T 70 CPO 22P at rs.15, 700 from
                              the kannankadi, Door no: 08/2080 A TO H, K.K.B Complex, Calicut road, Manjeri,
                              PH:[protected] /2766789 on 18th Jan. 2014. We have 2 years warranty
                              for that the. At time we had purchased, one service man came and he provided
                              the service to fit the washing machine in our home. His name is “Ubaid”. The washing
                              machine was working properly.


                              After one year completed, the same service
                              man had come and he said that he need to provide the free services to us. It is
                              company order. At the time power cut was in my home, we said that there is no
                              complaint in our washing machine and now current was not here, but he didn’t
                              hear our words and tried to repair our washing machine. And after that, he
                              called from our land phone to someone and told us this is free call number. He told
                              us if anyone call to our land phone, tell them complaint is water leakage and he
                              left from here


                              Next day, we used washing machine for washing
                              dress. It was not working properly. Hence, we have complained this problem to
                              the kannankandi and they sent a service man to our home. He checked and took
                              the washing machine and went back to service center and we had given the auto
                              charge rs.200 for that and after 4 days, washing machine returned back and that
                              time we had given rs, 200 for the auto service charge also. Next day, we noted that
                              it was not working and returned back washing machine to kannakandi shop and
                              said it’s not working. The same day, 2 service men came and return that washing
                              machine to us and said problem was solved and we had given rs, 400 for auto
                              service charge. We understood that our problem was not solved. We tired because
                              of this problem. And we decided to call free no:[protected] and called to
                              there and told our problem. But we didn’t satisfied with that. She said to us
                              within 24hrs, they should contact with you .till now we didn’t get any call
                              from customer care. Its very shame to say that LG service was very bad. We have
                              faced loss rs.800 for the service. Till now the washing machine was not working
                              properly. Kindly register my complaint and replace my washing machine was
                              bought, otherwise please return our cash .Within 4 days, I need a best respond
                              from your side immediately other vice I go consumer court. If you didn’t take any action I know what to do.
                              I hope you will understand my mental agony and the problem I have been facing

                                I have bought your LG SXS Refrigerator

                                This is third time this year I had this problem.
                                I had requested and log a complaint on 5th October and Complaint no is C10A0411813 spoke to your Vadodara Service point. I was told that there is no part for this Refrigerator and will need to order and should be here in 4 to 5 days. Its 9 days and still nothing !! I had reminded your Service center but no positive reply.

                                I used to trust your product but now loosing faith in it. The product should not have any problem but in last year only I had to call your engineer three times.! What is wrong !!!

                                This is not good. I think you are losing good customer who use to trust your product
                                I hope you can do something to put this right .

                                Sir,

                                I am extremely disappointed to state that the service mechanism
                                of LG India is absolutely rubbish!! I would request you to take immediate action to stop the damage.

                                It all started with our family going for the double door, some 720+ litre refrigerator.

                                We planned to get it installed over the weekend however at the assigned
                                visit time the person did not come, so I gave a phone call.
                                I understand while taking care of so many product installations and deliveries, you may miss one.

                                But the attitude and disdainful approach followed by the incoming service
                                team needs to be changed.

                                My image of a korean company was of high quality products
                                backed with high quality after sales service. Its rather disgraceful and lets not even go there.

                                Now for some facts:

                                I have given multiple phone calls to your call center number- [protected]
                                ; but there has been NO HELP extended so far for the refrigerator.

                                The call center representatives do not let the supervisors speak
                                to the customers, let alone escalate the issue.
                                I have made several phone calls and spoken to many representatives, namely
                                ZAINAB, her supervisor CHINTAN MAKWANA. Chintan was especially rude
                                to me.
                                At first he did not come on phone when requested by me. Then after a lot of
                                persuation when he came also, he was absolutely ruthless. No courtesies
                                and remorse just arguements. When asked for escalation level, he said there
                                is noone I can speak to and that he only is the boss. Similar experience received today as well as a some Mr. RAJESH SHIVSAGAR spoke the same language, telling me off as if I am not his customer, he is mine. I have suffered tremendous mental stress due to the whole episode.

                                After getting totally exhausted I tried to go the website to put an online complaint. But even there, your service team has done a great job that they have put a blockage.

                                So I went online and have found some email IDs and am writing to you. There is no complaint redressal form or escalation email IDs I can write to.

                                I have similar experience with LG.
                                First of all my email had no response.After my call is registered (Sevice request C [protected]);service representative visited and made a note of all the parts to be replaced and then they closed the complaint stating customer will call again.
                                I called up again and registered a complaint( C [protected]).Then they closed it again stating customer will call again.I am searching for an escalation forum but none is available.
                                The call center as well as the local service centers are completely useless. There is no clear escalation path. The auto-defrost was not working and I raised a complaint on Jul 17 (ID # [protected]). The technician came and reported that the bi-metal switch/sensor was defective. He replaced it and asked to switch on the fridge after 1 hr as there was huge ice chunks. I asked for his mobile but he did not give and asked to report to the call center if there is any further issue. He could have phoned after 1 hr to verify if the mobile # could not be shared. He was eager to get the AMC done instead of the job. Anyway, the problem remained and I reported to the call center immediately. NO RESPONSE. After repeatedly calling the call center, I was told on Tuesday to register as a fresh complaint !!! Registered again with ID C[protected]..The technican came on Jul 21 and said he didn't have a clue and said he will ask the earlier mechanic to come and see the problem..Today (Jul 22) after repeatedly chasing the call center/ service center, mechanic Md. Kalam came and started opening the cabin light moulded switch. When asked why was he doing so, he said he had previous experience of replacing the switch. It seemed incredulous to me, when the fault appears to be in the motherboard, he is unnecessarily opening up the switch!!! This guy also wanted us to go for the AMC instead of solving the problem for which money was already paid!!! Seems like making profit and giving no service is the mandate from the management.. Anyway, he admitted that he didnot have the motherboard with him and will raise the request ASAP (there is no stock apparently).. Now I have to wait and see when my lucky angel smiles and the refrigerator gets back to normal..

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  Your Service Engineer came today ie 16.04.11 to my residence at Rajula, He says after this parts put also RAJULAPRESSOR SWITCH PENDING, , , 6600FA1704B, , , POA[protected] machine is not working.
                                  Service Engineer recommended to bring LG washing machine from Rajula to Bhav Nagar, ie around 140 kilo meter distance, how I will bring there. I think your service Engineer not properly checked by Washing machine.

                                  After Warranty period onwards My LG washing machine not working. My washing machine purchased on 01.12.2008 after warranty period just 20 days after My LG washing was breakdown.
                                  Your service enginner 1st repaired my washing on 18.12.2010,

                                  Now again 2nd time machine is repaired on 04.04.2011. Your representative came on 05.04.11 he says parts required I will bring again. He came by today he says bring LG washing at Bhav Nagar my residence to that place is around 140 km. I have to hire vehicle to bring to Bhav Nagar, transportation cost Rs. 7000/- I have to spend for washing machine repair.

                                  Sir, Kindly confirm whether you can repair it or not, I will take final decision because” Your LG washing machine made for only 2 years working condition after words machine may or may not work. This is for quality of LG. I can say present market condition LG is no.1 Product if customer goes against LG product, you can count your business, what will happen imagine.

                                  Kindly solve my LG washing machine as early as possible, because this is your Company Imagine & prestige issue.

                                    The above unit front panel is not working. Complaint no C10A1102984 was filled with LG call centre on 9 Oct 10. Despite daily reminder to call centre, no action or reply from LG Service Engineer. Call centre gave no of Customer Care Executive Ms Sanjini (Mumbai) [protected], who does not take up the call. Local Service Centre in Andheri East (tel[protected] gave no of Service Supervisor Mr Ramji ([protected]) who also refuses to take the call.

                                    Same instance was there last time(6 months ago) when their was a complaint. LG should disband their 2.1.1. service initiative as the same is a colossal failure

                                      LG/KP500 MOBILE PHONE — REQUEST FOR REPLACEMENT

                                      Sir, I have purchased a LG KP500 mobile phone on 25.04.2009 vide Invoice No-0631 (Dealer-Laxmi Mobiles and Services, Bhubaneswar, Orissa).

                                      From the time I have purchased I am facing issues with the touch screen and software problem, non deliver of sms, set unstable. I have visited customer care several times for repair. Now I am totally fed off with this set as i never use bluetooth or never connect it to computer.
                                      I want to get back by money from LG immediately. Please help inthis regard.

                                        I have bought LCD TV way back end of 2008 at Dehradun. Since this TV had wall mounting as well base mounting I initially opted for Base mounting by my own resorce. Now i am relocated to bangalore & looking installing my TV on wall. I have all the tools & necessary attachmnets available.The information provided is not at all sufficient in guidelines.If call up service centre I am being charged more than 700/800 Rs.
                                        When i pay morethan 70000/- I have every right of information to be provided which is my consumer right.
                                        Why cant i demand Rs 70000 as compensation towards mentally agonising to me apart from not providing the necessary information.
                                        I have registered complaint & in response i recieved email also from person called SUNOJ MATHEW & also rudely speaking person called chandrakant bearing the Mobile No [protected].

                                        My name is RAJU from Nizamabad, 1 year back we bought Plasma 50inch TV, we requested Installation and their is problem with some power supply, i was calling them almost 25 tI'mes as area inchrj and customer services TM, no one is response to help me, all of them just wasting tI'me and enjoying, I'm really upset with LG services other wise LG is the best product but Indian series is WAST not only me lot of people is suffering with LG serves and i Spock to one of the person call CHATAPALLY RAO is is the person incharge of A.P he is not right person to have that kid of responsebulity bcas he dos not know how to respect to customers
