Hi

I bought a LG Spilt AC (Model No: LSA5CW2VF1.AE43DR1) on Jan 1st, 2010. I called up the LG customer care (Toll Free number) for my 3rd free service and I got a issue with my ac in which it is getting operated via remote.I logged a call on 3rd, November 2010 (Request ID : C10B0343747).

A service engineer visited my home on 4th November 2010 and he said that there is an issue with my AC display and he needs...

Dear sir,
I Have purchased an LG microwave model No. M/O:3948 from Rupwani Appliances, Pondicherry on 15 Nov 08, on successfully completion of warranty period my micro wave got repaired on 12 Dec 09, the same day i went to the show room and lodged the complaint via No. S9CC1201170.
After intimating twice the engineer visited and Inspected the wave, on completion of inspection he came to the conclusion that starting Key pad is not working, while leaving he assured that the key pad is not available rite now the pad has to be brought from Chennai so it will take max 02 day. This was said on 15 or 16th Dec 09 am not sure. But till 22nd no response.
So on 22 Dec 09 i have lodged online complained via[protected] but no response till to date.
Due to this i have intimated the show room 02 days back then also no response.
therefore, please take aproperate action from your side.

microwave is not working from the 3 weeks, several time we dialed the consumer number but no body attend the phone, so now i m doing complain online.please you will visit our home and check the microwave.our microwave model number is MC-808WAR.my contact no. is[protected].
I bought a LG grill microwave from the e-zone of kankurgachi pantaloons,kolkata on 08/03/2008 . the model no. is MG-2381LE. I faced a problem with the microwave a month ago. it stopped suddenly while i was operating it.so i called the customer care to check out the problem. they told me that they will send somebody within 24 hrs. but nobody came to check it. I have to call them thrice , after that they sent somebody & he checked it & told me that the cerkit got cut up , so they have to repair or change it. but he could not do it on that day because he had nothing with him, also he didnot know the charge. the next day that a lady called me & told me that my product could not be repaired because this model is being discontinued now, so i have to buy a new one. but when i bought it i have been told that LG service centre will take responsibility for any kind of problem within it's warranty period. now if I buy anything which worth me above five thousand rupees & within it's warranty period I have to face this kind of problems then how a renouned company like LG can promise to their customers of a good service.please help me with this problem so that i can get proper service.

I am your customer from last so many years, but i regret to say that from last few days i am getting very problems in delivery of your newspaper. The local newspaper seller in our area is not ready to give us the bill for the newspaper delivered and when we asked him for the same he misbehaves with us.

      I will introduce my self as Ashish Bakshi head of service for a Swiss multinational called Mettler Toledo having office in Powai Mumbai. I am heading a service team of 120 service engineers doing service business of almost Rs 50 crores.



      I have purchased LG TV (32 LG 80 FR) in the month of July 2009.At the time of installation only there was a problem with sound quality. I took up this matter with top management of LG; they considered it as manufacturing defect & replaced it in one month time. For your ready reference all documents are attached.



      Now last month suddenly I observed that there is one horizontal line on display. I thought it will disappear after some time, but unfortunately for me after 2-3 days there was no display on screen.



      I called LG service centre on 6th Nov 2010.Same day your service engineer Mr. satish visited my place. By looking at the display only he concluded that panel is faulty & I have to pay Rs 12503 for getting TV repaired as this TV is not under warranty. He draw this conclusion in 30 seconds. He did not bother to open the TV set. From his conclusion it clearly indicates that this is a common problem with LG LCD.



      I have Samsung LCD (40 inches) & Sony (26 inches) at me residence for last four years without any problem. To have a taste of LG products I have purchased this product & unfortunately this turn out to be a bitter taste for me.



      For your information when this fault occurred voltage at my residence was within permissible limits (230V + - 5 %), voltage between Neutral & earth was less than 5 V AC.All other appliances were working fine. This TV was being used in dust free room with temp less than 25 deg cent for 30 minutes daily usage. I think life of LCD panel is almost 10,000 hours.



      These observations clearly show that there is some manufacturing defect with LCD panel of this TV.



      As this TV is just out of warranty (14 months from the date of installation) I request you consider this as a special case & replace panel free of cost. I am sure as a service head of LG products western region you will consider this request.



      If you don’t consider this request then I can assure you that I will not buy any LG products in my remaining life & will not recommend to any body also. I have purchased this TV from EZONE Powai who speaks always well about LG products. This case will be a black spot in their history & will think twice before displaying any LG products in their gallery.

      LG LCD TV 32 — Worst Ever Product

      I purchased LG LCD TV on Nov 12 2009 from CircuitMall Sector 8 Chandigarh.

      There are 2 serious issues with this product -
      1. The Zoom function is NOT saved on TV restart. Rest all of the given functions for tv do save, expect for 4:3 zoom.

      2. SRS when switched on makes cranky sound.

      LG service center is NOT ready to acknowledge these issues.

      LG TV 32" — installation not done

      I PURCHASED MY TV(32") FROM BAJAJ ELECTRONICS ON 11TH APRIL 2010. THEY (LG GODOWN) NOT DELIVERED BUT STARTED ASKING FROM 12th ONWARDS TO COME FOR INSTALLATION. BUT NOBODY DELIVERED MY TV (THEY GIVEN A COMPLAINT NO. C[protected] CANCELLED AND REVOKED THE SAME NO BUT DELIVERY NOT MADE). AT LAST I RECEIVED THE BOX ON 16TH APRIL. WHEN I CALLED THE CUS. CARE TOLD MY COMPLAINT NO. THEY PROMOTED MY COMPAINT NO. TO C[protected] ( ON 17TH APRIL) AND TOLD THE SERVICE ENGR. WILL COME WITHIN 24HRS BUT 60 HRS WERE PASSED NOBODY VISITED MY HOUSE. IT SHOWING THAT I MADE A MISTAKE BY PURCHASING TV . ACTUYALLY PREVIOUSLY I PURCHASED MICRO OVEN WITH SAME BRAND (FACED LITTLE PROBLEMS) NOW I REALISED THAT AS PER MY JUNE-JULY PLAN I AM NOT GOING TO PURCHASE ANY WASHING M/C,ETC. WITH YOUR BRAND.
      HOPE YOU WILL SOLVE MY PROBLEM WITHIN A DAY OTHER WISE I WILL RETURN MY TV TO BUYER

      LCD 42" TV LG — New Tv not working Panel defective

      Lodged the complaint on[protected] complaint number[protected] Technician from Neutron Service Centre, Prabhadevi visited on[protected] and analyzed that Panel is defective and needs to be changed.and promised that it will be done in 2-3 days time.

      till todate[protected] nothing has been done, no phone nothing. when I talk at Neutron am only assured that it will be done in 2-3 days time. what is 2-3 days time frame as per your yardstick?

      LG — LG 32" LCD TV : In 7 months not repaired or replaced

      Sir,

      I purchased an LG 32" LCD on[protected]from KAY DEE AUDIOVISIONS PVT. LTD. NOIDA, Sector-18 Invoice no. 4893) with a 1 year warranty and in next couple of months it started showing display problem.There was "no display" in lower part of the LCD (a inch size line).

      I registered a complaint on[protected]complaint no. C[protected]). LG guys responded back, checked the problem and went back assuring that in 1 week or so they will get back with the required part (LCD display panel/module, i am not sure). After that no one came back and no response was there on tonnes of call i made. One day i got a message on my cell from LG that request has been closed without mentioning any reason.

      I again tried my luck and for the same problem registered a new complaint on 12.11.2010 with a complaint no. C10B1216362/rnilabsc10b120107. LG visited my placed & this time they disclosed the issue about non-availability of the required part & said "a part needs to be replaced and we don't have that part right now as company had stop manufacturing this model, so we will be taking 15 days time and respond you back". On continuous calls/complaints after 2 months of registering the complaint they took my TV on 14.01.2011 to LG (Digital Service point, A-56, sector-6, Noida).

      My TV was there for 20 days and then only they figure out they can't able to repair it, in these 20 days i talked loads of times with concerned LG officials (Nikita-HR [protected], Manish Gupta-Service Manager [protected], Rajiv-Service center supervisor [protected]). The whole time they tried to convince me that they will get the matching display module (part which needed to be replace in TV) in some 2-3 days and so, and afterward they use to say that we haven't got the matching one from company, they will ask for a new one but matching this time. Repeated this for 20 odd days.

      Yesterday (01.02.2011) after a fierce conversation b/w me and 'LG supervisor' they returned me my old TV back at home but all dead. May be they are not even bothered to put back all the parts of the TV and returned it back in the same condition as it was. TV is not even working now, its all dead. When i asked to Rajiv- Supervisor about this he said that LG will replace your TV and collect your old TV from home that's why we send it to you.

      Now nobody is picking up my calls except customer-care, who don't have anything to say except "we have sent a reminder to higher officials, someone will respond", but no one did.

      A LG equipment of 36K failed in two months and against the 1 year warranty, in 7 months they haven't came with a part's replacement. Are these guys trying to spend next 2 months time in which my warranty will be over or what? If LG stopped manufacturing this model that is not my problem. I don't care if LG replaces the part or the whole TV but i am not gonna waste my hard earned money like this. I am looking forward to file a Fraudulent-mental harassment case against 'LG India' & 'KAY DEE AUDIOVISION NOIDA'. Please guide me in right direction.

      L.G. TV — Installation not done

      Purchase one L. G. TV on behalf of my son Saurav Maji from Home Town Kolkata. It is customary to install by their Engineers. They promised so to be next day. But it did not act. I lodged 5 complaints wef 5th instant. But got no result. My T.V. is lying.
      LG refunded me back with a cheque of INR 36, 000 on 24.02.2010.

          This step I am taking after sheer disappointment on service provided by LG.I have registered my complaint for replacement or fixing my broken door of LG Microwave MS-1947C on 17th October 2010.Its already a month , the LG dealers in Kolkata , are just procastinating things .We are not able to use the microwave for about a month.

          The LG Authorised dealers are not picking up complaints and are threatening not to call them again and again.Is this is what customer deserves while buying LG's products?

            My Name U. Nagaraj Padiyar a regular customer of LG household products. My washing Machine is not working and I visited the authorised service center in Mangalore ( Innovative Access Mannar Comples, New Balmatta Road, Joythi, Mangalore)on 13/11/2010 and the service center people denied to give me the spare part(Door Magnate) saying that they can't sell the spare parts directly to the customers & asked me to lodge a service complaint so that they can send their person to fix the same.

            Please clarify whether the service center can't sell the spare parts directly to the customers? if the customer doesn’t need the service of the company service people?

            If so please provide the supporting documentary evidence for the same.

            LG / Washing Machine — Pathetic Service Issue from LG. Minting Money and Making Fool of Customers

            Below attached is the mail complaint to LG Team and LG MD (Moon B Shin). But as of date no response from LG MD on this.

            This delay from LG service support costed/forced me to purchase a Samsung Semi Automatic machine worth Rs.6500/- (For a middle class person it matter’s a lot). For me the total cost of repair is Rs.6500/- (Towards purchase of new Semi Automatic Machine) + Rs 5645/- (Towards repair) = Rs. 12145/-. By spending this much amt I can very well purchase a new Fully Automatic Machine of any other good brand except LG.



            Dear Mr.Summit, I am still waiting for your reply for Rs.6500/-. As per telecom I requested you please don’t consider this as feedback for future instead do the justice for Rs.6500/-. Also requested you that if you are not the one who can handle this please advice the concerned to whom shd I speak with on this issue of Rs.6500/-.

              Im sorry to say that LGIndia is a big cheat and fraudulent company operating in India . 1 week back , I purchased a 8047 model microwave from Govinda Distributors , Boring Road Crossing , Patna , Bihar . To my utter shock , an old used microwave with burnt wires and used chassis came out of the brand new carton with 8047 label . Even this used microwave was of some other model .

              I suggest to all users on this forum to launch a mass campaign against these corrupt practices of a foreign multinational duping the Indian citizens . Being a IIM student , I won't tolerate this nonsense and am going to sue the company for the monetary damage and the time and mental peace lost in this purchase . I'll be sending a link on facebook soon . Please join .

              If the deaf company officials are listening ( coz I got no reply to my compliant on their official website ), please do the following immediately :-
              1. Get the model I paid for delivered immediately to me .
              2. Cancel the distributorship of thieves like " Govinda's"

                We bought LG refrigerator of 286 Liter capacity about 10 years back. Our refrigerator is working fine, but all its trays are broken. We have been calling LG customer care but they are telling that trays of that model is not available and we should discard the refrigerator.

                Kindly help us get the trays for the refrigerator as it makes no sense to discard the refrigerator just because the trays are broken.

                  M/S Mahaveer Distributors ([protected],[protected]), No.939, Basement, Kishan Complex, Behind Hotel Dasaprakash, KT Street Cross, Mysore - 570001 (Dealers in LG India / Double Door Refrigerator) has delivered a Damaged Double Door Refrigerator Model GL408YSQG4/2010 (Dent in the Door) on 3rd September 2010 at 10.30 PM at night to the residence of Mr.Denis D'souza, 27, 1st Stage, 3rd Cross, Gokulam, Mysore - 570002.

                  The said defect was identified by Mr.Denis D'souza in the morning on 4th September 2010 and was immediately reported to M/S Mahaveer Distributors. A representative of M/S Mahaveer Distributors promised to have the entire refrigerator replaced in 15 days time.

                  On no response being received from M/S Mahaveer Distributors reminders were given and ultimately the first complaint regarding the defective refrigerator was given to the Call Center of LG India on 28th September 2010 (C[protected]). Further there was no response by LG and another complaint (C10A3028922) was lodged for replacement of the entire Double Door Refrigerator Model GL408YSQG4/2010 with Call Center Executive Ms.Amrita on 30th October 2010. This was also unattended and finally a last complaint (C10B0234087) was registered for replacement of the entire Double Door Refrigerator Model GL408YSQG4/2010 with Call Center Executive Ms.Nidhi on 2nd November 2010.

                  Mr.Manoharan - [protected] (Service Unit Head of Mysore LG Division) sent the Engineer Mr.Pasha to the residence of Mr.Denis D'souza, 27, 1st Stage, 3rd Cross, Gokulam, Mysore - 570002. Post inspection, Mr.Pasha and Mr.Manoharan mentioned that we would be eligible only for a Door replacement and not replacement of the entire Double Door Refrigerator. This has shattered our minds w.r.t the service standards of LG India.

                  Hence we urge you to get us justice by replacement of the entire Double Door Refrigerator.

                    We bought one LG Refrigerator in Aug 2010 and even it has cooling problem from the first week itself. We brought into the notice of vendor and after so many request service engineer visited but without repairing the problem suggested place the refrigerator properly and it wont give any problem. But the same cooling problem continue and after requesting so many times no body came to check. Pl help us on this isssue.

                          We have a new LG washing machine (barely 7-8 months old) and it developed a problem. We called the LG customer care atleast 5-6 times each with a days gap, each time all we got was a complaint number but no one actually came around to fix it even though they said someone would come today. So we ended up wasting time waiting for the person to come. The machine is still under warranty. We even complained via the LG website, to the customer support head office, Vijay Sales (the place where we bought the machine from ) and yet there has been no response.

                          All their ads are such a sham. Life is definately not good after buying LG products

N8C8 2800931 DATED:-28/8/08, there was no response form your service people, as i have not very happy to say that i am loyal customer for LG India for last 10 years, and also permote the L.G product to my relative friends and coleuge, you can find or check your data base that on my name there is 3-4 window A.c 3 refrigerator and atleast 4 wachine machine in my brother and sister, only they believe becuse of my past experinces with you, and this is first time that i have complain for my washine machine and there was either very bad response or no response, i have called your cusotmer care department serveral time as well as to your service engineer as well as service manger south thier name is Mr. Sunil Kumar (Area Manger-Service ) and Mr. Sandeep ( Service- engineer) and attend the first time complin by Mr. Manjeet. still there is no response form your side, if you people cannot give the service then simply tell me you are not able then i will go the local service center this very bad experences i never had any company. you will loose only not one loyal costomer but you will loose various costomer as you no the marketing by mouth spared.

                          LG-Washing Machine — No response from customer care

                          Actually we buy a LG-washing machine at ten days back, but stil there is no person came for the Demonstration for the product,
                          we called for the customercare nearly 7-8 times but they didnt response well, so we discuss with the dealer he said "better you return the product and take the cash back, we are not responsible for the company person demo's" like this.

                          what we have to do, can i return due to this no responses.

                          LG- Washing Machine — customare care- repair delayed

                          I had contacted lg customer care on sunday17th may around 12 p.m. about my washing machine repair. The TAT is claimed to be 24 hours.
                          As 24 hours finished I reminded them on Monday at 4 p.m and they said it will be taken up immediately and same day service engineer would look into the problem at my residence.
                          Today it is 21st May and i have been calling them everyday and nothing has happened despite their promises to rectify the problem immediately.

                          This is consuming more time than required and also causing a lot of trouble to me wherein i have to repeat the same story to all the executives whenever i call and my work is not being attended to. This is also creating trouble because my washing machine is in repair and clothes have heaped up.

                          Above all i dont want the company to claim their TAT of 24 hrs.
                          As we are expecting the service engineer we cant attend on other important works. The company is liable to pay compensation for having wasted my time for the past 4 days which is very precious.

                          LG — No Response from customer care

                          I bought a LG microwave last month. When service engineer visited me for the purpose of demo, he found some manufacturing defect in it and suggested a replacement of the product. Since dat date, it took a month by the company to react and they even stopped reactng on my complaints with customer cre which claims to resolve your problem in 24 Hrs.....

                          Later on they told me that this model is nomore available in their stock so i have to choose another one, preferebly of higher range....When i have purchased a new one, dereafter also deres no response to my complaints regarding demonstration and installation of the product.....company's promises and claims are fake..

                          LG / Washing Machine — error in functioning/no dealer support

                          I bought a new Washing machine on 21st march, from Kalpana Enterprise Baroda, since then there is a problem in functioning, it has not functioned properly even once.                           The engineer visited my place on 18th June saying that the digital unit would have to be replaced.He said that if the part was available readily then it would be changed within a day else it would take 3-4 days. when no intimation was recd by him for the next 3 days I called him and he said that the part was still awaited. Post that his phone has been unreachble and I have placed 2-3 reminder calls with LG Customer care. Today when I happened yo call MS Services I was very casually informed that the part cannot be changed and an engineer would come and repair the same.
                          Well, Im really dissappointed at the extremely poor handling of the complaint by LG. It is shameful that a renowned company should make its customer's go through so much inconvinience.

                            My name is Sooraj and i had given my LG DVD player for repairs. The problem was the power board . They changed the SMPS and returned it back. But NOW THERE IS NO AUDIO NOR VIDEO OUTPUT. They tested it infront of me by JUST SWITCHING it ON with NO TV to check its AUDIO or VIDEO. When i called them regarding the same , they told that it is the T.V's fault , but when i told the T.V works fine , they told it may be the AV Cable's fault , i changed the AV cable and tried , still it's not working. So i lodged a complaint in their toll free no[protected] on 11th nov , still no response from their side . NAME OF THE SERVICE CENTRE IS " TECHNO CARE" , Calicut , Kerala.

                            LG india has been providing a very improper service regarding repairs of the microwaves sold by them.They don't respond to the complaints registered a week before at their service center.

                            Dear LG service team,

                            I am shekar living in Bangalore and I have a LG double door refrigerator; it was bought in the year 2004 and was working fine since then but since 3 days it is having problem and i had complained it to your service centre in Bangalore[protected]; Some lady pick the phone and i gave her all the details including my phone number[protected]. I asked her to transfer the call to her manager but she immediately disconnected the phone call abruptly (very careless on board); then another girl by pratima picked the call and confirmed that she would be sending me the complaint number because the systems were not working. It is almost half a day now since i complained and no complaint number received yet.
                            But before the above step, i had spoken to one Mr. Manju [protected] and asked him to send in the engineer but he too was so casual that he said he would be sending the technician only on monday. He also gave another number to do a follow up but that technician never picks the call, may be he is new to using mobile and doesn't know how to pick a call. With all these problems my refregirator is still under repair and nothing has been done yet. Dtd: 6th Dec 2010

                              We have taken a three year AMC from LG, now when we have a complaint, we are directed to a local vendor who send us the following email stating that you have to pay the following amount else we can't repair your machine, whats the point of taking an AMC specially for three years form a company who directs you to a local vendor and then ask for all kinds of charges mentioning the AMC clauses.

                              ( Its worth mentioning that we have a working machine and the complaint is for the noise the machine is making while spinning , Its also important to state that their engineer who visited us initially told that the machine only require a wash and needs to be taken to their office, hence we are in trap, in both the cases we have to pay even if we don't ask them to change the body parts they will charge us for the transportation etc.

                                3-11-10 AT A COST OF Rs.8500/-(Invoice No.CR10/32544) FROM M/S BAJAJ ELECTRONICS, PANJAGUTTA , HYDERABAD, AFTER SPENDING(WASTING) TWO DAYS AT THE SHOP.AFTER A FIRM ASSURANCE FROM CONCERNED PERSON(Mr.KISHORE) I HAVE DECIDED TO PURCHASE THE OVEN, AS I HAD TO GIFT THE ARTICLE TO A FRIEND ON DIWALI DAY.                                   I am Deepak Patra. I bought one 81 CM LCD TV from Reliance Digital on 16 May 2010 for Rs.38,500.00. On 19 Oct 2010, I had some problem with my LCD with regard to the switching it on. I lodged a complaint with the customer service department on 20 Nov 2010. My further follow ups are as follows.

                                  20/10/2010- Complain lodged, Request ID – C10A2037145
                                  21/10/2010- Got an SMS saying, your request ID C10A2037145 is closed without any communication with me. Reason: Customer will call again.

                                  21/10/2010- Complain lodged again for the second time, Request ID – C10A2229906
                                  22/10/2010- Got an SMS saying, your request ID C10A22229906 is closed without any communication with me. Reason: Customer will call again.

                                  22/10/2010- Complain lodged again for the third time, Request ID – C10A2410768
                                  23/10/2010- Got an SMS saying, your request ID C10A2410768 is closed without any communication with me. Reason: Customer will call again.

                                  23/10/2010- Complain lodged again for the fourth time, Request ID – C10A2318309
                                  25/10/2010- LG engineer (Mr. Gaikward) visited my place to check the LCD and confirmed that one part is faulty and is required to be replaced. He took that part for replacement and assured me that it will be replaced within 3 days.
                                  30/10/2010- Got an SMS saying, your request ID C10A2318309 is in process. Reason: Parts not available.
                                  10/11/2010- Got an SMS saying, your request ID C10A2318309 is closed without any communication with me. Reason: Customer will call again.

                                  10/11/2010- Complain lodged again for the fifth time, Request ID – C10B1029805
                                  12/11/2010- No response so far from LG.

                                  Every time I call the customer service department, I am given either a new complain number or an assurance that, it will be taken care within 24 hours. But that 24 hours has not yet come since last one month. Within four months when I bought the LCD, if parts are not available then what will happen after the expiry of one year of warranty period. Is this a use and throw item or what.

                                  Brand LG promises "Life's good " for customers by assured maintenance service. This has not been my experience till date and I urge LG to raise to the Brand promise printed on the catalogs.

                                  As a loyal customer I demand that the LCD TV be replaced with a new one / my money back asap. Otherwise I have no option left but to approach the consumer court regarding this.

                                  We would appreciate a response in return.

                                    I have recently shifted my base from Bangalore to Hyderabad. After settling down here i have contacted LG customer care for reinstalling my Washing machine. (Id C10B0613881). I got a call from one of the representatives after a day, asking about the issue. After which there is absolutely no response.
                                    I would have called the customer care atleast 7 times for the same and every time gets the same response ( will get back to you with in 24 hrs). I would describe this kind of service as pathetic, and would like to warn any prospective customers about this torturing process. The products might be good, but buy it only if you are staying next to a LG service center. Otherwise your life is going to be miserable.

                                    By voicing my issues here, i am not sure what actions they will take, but atleast 1 person will be able to benifit from this.
