One fine evening (11th july 2019) my fridge stopped working as the gas has leaked from a hole in the freezer. The technician from lg services took the fridge to their workshop saying that during monsoon gas filling can't be done at home. The freezer door was also to be changed
When i received my fridge after the day i found they've changed the compressor though i've asked them not to do so. The freezer door was of some other model so to make it fit they broke the locking system of the freezer frame. The freezer door was still not operating properly. When i complaint for this they started arguing. And then promised to again change the freezer door. But till date thwy haven't turned up.. Im still wondering is this the way how reputed companies work
It was a disgusting experience with lg services

    We have purchased double door refrigerator from Vijay sales Ghatkopar on 29th May 2019( which has Model No GL – N292DDSY). Our complaint No. is RNP[protected].
    Within very few days we came to know that it’s not in good working condition because of which vegetables are getting spoiled and it contains water (over cooling) on it .
    Customer care executive insisted us to wipe out the refrigerator and set the temperature but still problem was remains same.
    After raising same complaint 2nd time, technician visited and he set the temp . and according to him it was happened due to humidity.
    But still the same problem we found, so on 3rd time again technician visited and set the temperature and promised that if same problem persist we will send our Sr. Technician for visit and again he advised to wait for result for 5-6 days.

    Still problem was remains same, so again we called up to Customer Executive for Sr. technician visit, who visited on 13th July and checked from inside and clicked some video of refrigerator … according to him there was gap in duck…. Because of that outer part (main door of refrigerator ) is getting water contain.

    Now we are fed up with all this …. Either you replace the refrigerator (Hope which should not be faulty, or any technical problem contain) or refund our money back…

    Today when we called up to senior level manager we said that we will replace that duck from refrigerator…which is not acceptable at all ..
    As per our knowledge at the time of delivery of new product technical team test all the part of refrigerator, which was not done in our case…
    I am not ready to change any part of fridge because it is not a second-hand refrigerator .. I am paying installment for that 20000/-

      Fridge bought in jan 2019.. Compressor conked off in july 2019! Within six months.. And over and above pathetic service from lg.. It takes them over 24 hrs fir a technician to visit!!

      5 days without a fridge and it is so difficult to reach out to them. Number of followup and goofups!! I've called up at least 5-6 numbers and numerous follow-up on whatsaap.. My whole day went in trying to reach out to them.
      Finally reached an engineer and he is yet to turn up.. 9;00 pm at. Night! Took a day off from work to service the fridge and criminal waste of time!

      Hope at least tomm my fridge will be set right!

          I have bought one tv from lg and during my purchase they have given me surity on two things one it's having a aux port and second you will get a dongle from jio which you will get from the engineer which is going to visit your place. But when he comes to my place he refused for the same and when i approached them no one is there to respond to my quert.

          Don't buy lg mobiles ...they are not providing support after purchasing.

          Im using lg stylus3. I'm facing battery issue, its charging time about 8 hours, itbattery parcent reduce speedily.

          I have registered on lgindia...there no response.

            This is not a query. It is a complain. It has been two weeks now since my fridge worked. Ibought this fridge in sep 2018. And from the very next month there were complaints. Every time a technitian comes and repairs it. Two weeks back it stopped working completely, as usual a tech came ans this time he said he has to check the motherboard and took it. Since then there is no news from him. He does not even pic our calls. We approached the shop and they advised to contact the area manager. He advised he will call back immediately, after which he just disappeared. He will also not pick up our calls. Where do we go now. We are two senior citizens staying alone and no fridge for the past two weeks. Should we go to the consumer court? I think we should.

              Hi,

              I bought new LG TV on 29/06/19 under exchange program. Under exchange program LG issued Paytm voucher codes of Rs. 4400 on 2/07/19. I have tried those codes for different options as mentioned by them but none of them worked. I have raised this query minimum 10 times to customer care as well as through Escalation mail, but no response and no one is either bother to respond me back with solution. It's been more than a month's time since issue is pertaining and I am continuously chasing LG customer care through email / whatsapp /calls but of no use.

                Lg is selling washing machines and it has to provide the spare parts rather then forcing customers to go for exchange and buy new one.

                I've bought lg washing machine and it's condition is excellent except the motor belt has got weaken over time. I think it's more than 7years old.

                My request no is RNP[protected] to replace the belt but lg customer service team says the spare parts are not available and please go for exchange and buy new machine.

                You must be able to get all the details from the request number RNP[protected]
                I purchased LG TV 4 days back. Till today it was not installed.
                My LG front load washing machine is 10 years old and well maintained as I use descaling powder in regualr intervals . Now the pump and pcb issue has occurred and lg repair engineers are saying parts are not available anywhere, it needs to be replaced . Why does LG not say this while selling teh machine, Phone no [protected] . Email [protected]@gmail.com

                  This post is reagrding the misbehaviour and disappointing service by lg company and their engineers.

                  Concerned lg engineers

                  - karan dhingra ji (Manager at lg) - [protected]

                  - ajit singh ji (Service engineer) - [protected]
                  - kapil ji (Service engineer)- [protected]
                  - abhishek ji (Service engineer)- [protected]

                  I had a demo of my lg fridge on 31st may 2019
                  For the next 48 there was no cooling in the fridge. I called up on customer care and an engineer visited and reported that the pcb is not working properly.
                  But the follow up was not taken. I again registered a complaint and again an engineer came and said compressor is not working. Then thankfully the compressor was changed.
                  I started using my fridge normally.
                  A day later the issue of 'no cooling' still remained and now another problem popped up - the ice in the freezer was melting after few hours of freezing. I again called up on customer care and again the engineer came. This time they said the gas is choked. He refilled the gas.
                  But both the problems still remained same.

                  This time i talked to lg manager mr. Karan dhingra reagrding my problem and he promised that he will settle my problem completely this time and i don't have to call for help again and again.

                  Thankfully
                  The engineers came, did their procedures to check if the product is ok or not.

                  Now here comes the twist.. 3 engineers came in a period of 5 days and sat for around 3 hours straight to check the temperature reading.
                  All 3 of them accepted infront o[censored]s that 'there is a problem with the product and that the product is not getting its right temperature i. E minimum of -14 degree celcius '. The 3 temperatures came out to be -4.9, -5.7 and -6.0 respectively.
                  Inspite of accepting the fault infront o[censored]s, they were not reporting the same to the company and were not accepting infront of them.

                  Strange right?
                  We felt the same.
                  Note - just because we asked for replacement of a faulty brand new product, the engineers (Mr. Pradeep and mr. Gulab) misguided the whole actual report and were not accepting and conveying the truth about the product.

                  On considering their reports, mr. Karan (Lg manager) gave his verdict that "the product is fine and we 'the consumer' is in hallucination of the product being faulty."
                  Adding to this the service engineers mr. Pradeep and mr. Gulab, on being called up by 'us' (The consumers), to request to speak for the right situation of the product, commented in a ruthless manner "humara time mat kharab kijiye, humare paas aur bhi bhot kaam hai".

                  To bring to your notice people, we as a consumer did our best to be a good consumer. We patiently waited for good 1 month and in this one month we complained for 7-8 times, attended engineers 7-8 times with the hope that this time we will get our problem solved, sent them the live videos and images of water leaking and ice melting from freezer.
                  But sadly, we did all this just to hear (From lg manager mr. Karan and engineers mr. Pradeep and mr. Gulab) that "we dont believe customers, we believe what our engineers report to us. And as per the reports of our engineers, the product is fine and there is no problem in the fridge."

                  I being a consumer asked them a very small question - "if everything is fine in the product then why did your meter did not show the required temperature of -14 degree celcius and why the water is still leaking from the fridge and why the fridge is not cooling - for the damn sole purpose for which a consumer purcheses a high end fridge.???"

                  At this point i wolud like to bring head of paschim vihar branch mr. Dharampal ji
                  From where i purchased my fridge. On explaining eveything to him he said "ki sir ye aap aur company valo k beech ka matter hai. Hum isme kuch nahi kar sakte. Humari karan sir se baat hui hai and unhone kaha hai ki fridge thik hai. Apko jahan case karna hai ap kar lijiye" because
                  The only option we had now was to go to consumer court.

                  Again to bring to your notice people, to file a case, we asked them for a written statement by the company stating that "our product is 100% fine and we will not do the necessary". But we never recieved such statement.

                  Upon discussing my problem with my friends, i got same complaints from them as well. And at this point i made a final decision. Fed up of lg and its highly arrogant staff. The way they talked, it got on my nerves and i am definately going to do the necessary about this matter..

                  We have images and proofs of not getting required temperature by their engineers and we captured images of water leaking and ice melting everyday. And all follow up phone recordings of mr. Karan and their ill mannered engineers mr. Gulab and mr. Pradeep and their bad language. We are definately filing a case against lg and its staff in consumer court.

                  I hope by this incidence of mine i made my point clear - quit lg

                    Dear sir/mam i bought the this led on date 05/062015 from future retail worth rs, 55580 and product was delivered on 06/06/2015 and led installed by lg on 11/06/2015 second day i saw a spot on display then i visited future retail and i complained there for that error so they said to register complaint to lg then i registered complaint to lg customer care so a technician visit my place technician name was janrdan mishra (Mobile no.[protected]) he visited and checked the led and found that is technical error company fault was found by him delivered damage product make report to his senior and gave them snap shot also after i received call from his senior vijay mishra (Mobile no. [protected]) he said to me i have received the approval your led will be replaced after long time a called to mr vijay mishra and asked for my replacement so he delayed by saying that product is not available still i did not get it my complaints - rna[protected] on11/06/2015, - rna[protected] on 24/06/2015 now case is that lg was ready to replace my product and the y delivered on my last address even i already given new address to update bt the asked me re send on my new address but having more than 2 year they did not deliver and replace my product and even they are not giving any response from long time

                      Your jaipur (Rajasthan, india) service center are not supporting and service for my lg ro, this product is in warranty period. After march 2019, your service engineer is not visiting my home for lg ro repair and service. Many time complaints in customer care but they are closed automatic my complaint without confirmation. So please help me.

Ltd. से खरीदा था जो अभी कंपनी के अनुसार वारंटी अवधि में है, इस प्रोडक्ट कि मैंने आपको कई बार टोल फ्री नंबर पर Tds and Minerals से सम्बंधित शिकायत दर्ज करा चूका हूँ लेकिन आपकी कंपनी के द्वारा ना तो कोई इंजिनियर आया अब तक ना कोई मुझे संतोषजनक जवाब प्राप्त हुआ, मेरा पहला शिकायत नंबर RNP[protected]March 2019 कि है, दूसरा शिकायत नंबर RNP[protected]March 2019 कि है, तीसरा शिकायत नंबर RNP[protected] 8May 2019 कि है, आपकी कंपनी के एक भी कर्मचारी द्वारा इस प्रोडक्ट को एक बार भी चेक नहीं किया गया है आज दिनांक 11/07/2019 तक ! ना ही मेरे को टेलीफोन के द्वारा कोई संतोषजनक जवाब प्राप्त हुआ

                        Hi, i registered one request regarding my ac was not doing proper cooling.

                        Once enginer visted at my place and filled the gas again it was not doing proper colling so i again raised issue even drop an email to kavita pundir but nothign worked.
                        Same eng visted again and nothing.

                        I feel eng is worng word fot them they are mere support staff which lg send and charge a lot of many for those incompetent people.

                        I am still facing issue and nothing work out.

                        I feel either lg should fix it with in seven working days else i iwll take legal action.

                        I also suffering finacial and mental loss due to it so please take necessary action asap

                          We've bought a new waching machine in egypt from about ten days, in the second use within just a week from the date of purchasing it gave us "de" error, we've tried every possible solution with the customer service, then they sent a technician who said that the "new washing machine" needs a spare part. Since that time nothing happened, we call them every day and all we get is promises of fixing it and nothing happened till now (A whole week passed in vain). We are so upset, and sorry for buying such a disappointing machine.

Atr serial no 807plnb117007 and i have also buy amc[protected] of this product on 14/08/2018 some issue occur on display from last two month i am in touch with lg customer care and service centre as product is in warranty they say display is broken and it not cover in warranty i said it's ok but i want my amc money back because its my harden money as my amc start on 14 aug 2020

                              I purchased a lg split unit in 2017. Early 2019, the indoor unit developed water leak. Water started flowing down along the wall. On complaint to lg, one person from their service contractor came and did some cleaning of the water drain tube. I asked him whether the job was properly done. He said the drain tube has been cleaned, but the main reason for leak was due to bees getting in through the opening in the wall which was not properly sealed. I asked to seal the hole. But he did not do anything saying that was an installation mistake. Hardly two months after this, the water leak resumed.
                              The service contractor’s people who came opened up the entire unit and found that bees had established massive hive within the ac unit. They did some cleaning and re-assembled it. Water leak got aggravated. The service contractor asked for payment. I declined on the ground that payment could be made only after the defect was rectified. Probably their feeling that the defect could not be rectified prompted them to get the money. The leak persisted. The service persons came few times afterwards, meddled with the unit with no success.
                              I was forced to conclude that these persons were not competent to do the work and also that the service centre had no business ethics claiming payment for work which they knew could not be carried out by them. The whole process started from 16 june 2019.
                              The damage to the ac unit has obviously occurred due to wrong installation by lg. Their not properly sealing the opening in the wall allowed the bees to enter the ac unit and make a mess on the inside of the unit. The fault is clearly with lg. Therefore, i have requested them to repair the defect at their cost and responsibility. I do not have to pay for it.
                              Since last two days the service contractor has been trying to take the unit away to their workshop. I have informed lg that i can allow this only if they agree to take the entire responsibility and carry out the work free of cost to me.
                              Lg is responsible for the work and conduct of the service people they send to service the equipment in my premises. Their attitude is, you deal with them – we are not in the picture. I have a lot of equipment at home and i have never faced such arrogant and high-handed behaviour from any company other than lg in the matter of service. It is unbelievable that a company of this stature behaves in this manner to its customers.
                              I have to get the ac repaired/replaced free of cost because the reason for the defect is purely wrong installation.

                                Complaint register 3 days ago. One technical person came after following up. He said there is a gas issue. He will send send person with gas. No one called up. We are continuesly following up with Naitik engency who his service provider for lg. But they are not all responding. Staff is very unprofessional. Not attending call. Giving excuses like today he will come before 7. Again we are waiting for 2 days. Very much dis appointed by service. Not expected with brand like lg. Still the issue is not resolved.
                                And within 2 years this is the condition of Fridge.

                                Henceforth I will not recommend lg brand to anyone.

                                    I have been using LG products since years...Recently my refrigerator model number GL-275VS5/2011 was not in working order, and I called customer care of LG via my registered mobile number :- +91-[protected], they helped me to get the service guy, his name was GYAN Roy his contact number +91-[protected], he told initially that he will take 4700 and then next day he came and dumped us in his sweet words and said I will take 3500, we said ok and after he repaired we asked for bill he said I will give 2mrw, so that in case if any problem, I can also chk and will come to give the bill as well... and we asked him which parts is this he said it's of Asalpha place and we had little knowledge about it and chkd those were duplicate parts. And original parts in market was available in 250 for which he charged us 3500...Next day, We again called him for bill and told him refrigerator is still same and not working...He said I will come and chk, he neither came to chk nor he gave the bill...Since last 5 days I am complaining in customer care for not receiving the bill and cheat case...No single person from TL named Arjun, Shivendra verma and etc in gurgaon branch in India..Nobody is helping me out...
                                    This is one kind of fraudulent case behind LG happening...I have been cheated by that guy on behalf of LG, who is responsible for this ?? Such malpractice should be stopped rather then being encouraged...
                                    I guess I need to take this case to consumer forum...
                                    Please tell me how shall I move forward...

                                      I had bought an lg 2 ton invertor ac with extended warranty from croma a year back and the sales man never told me that i am supposed to myself contact the lg company for servicing.in fact it was portrayed to me as if all will be taken care of once i purchase the product.
                                      It has barely been 20 days since one year has got over so can you please be reasonable enough to cover my servicing!?? Further, you need to train your call center representatives. I have never spoken to more illogical and ill-mannered persons before who firstly spoke so rudely and then just hung up the call on me.
                                      Call centre rep had the audacity to say that if i have so many issues i should talk to croma only and not to lg.
                                      Croma is the authorised dealer of lg acs so your rep cannot just brush away the responsibility of misrepresentation made by the croma salesmen. Please owe up and resolve logically rather than finding new ways to fleece customers

                                      Lg Electronics — 32LG80FR MOTHERBOARD - Spare Parts not available, my TV is getting switched ON, customer care suggested motherboard damaged but they don't have replacement asked to throw and get new TV. It's painful to buy new TV as motherboard replacement is not available. Please suggest.

                                        I registered a complaint for my refrigerator on 8th of june. Technician visited next day, who checked and left saying i will send another technician. Next day second technician came and after checking the fridge said fan motor not working, asked to change. We agreed. He took two days as the part was not available. After changing the part he asked us to check after 3-4 hours. But still error was showing and fridge was not working. Called him again and he said will visit by evening. He came next day and after checking fridge he said there might be a problem in motherboard. Next day he changed the mother board. But fridge was still showing error and not working. I called up the technician again.
                                        Technician doesn't visit after giving time everytime. Even don't pick up phone. So i took the number of supervisor mr jagdish ([protected]) from customer care no. Mr jagdish now sent that technician along with third technician, who said there was wiring problem... Which he has repaired. They put back the old motherboard back in fridge. But problem was not solved. I called mr jagdish again for technician. They visited yesterday and asked me to switch off the fridge as they will come today morning and change the heter now. No one visited till afternoon. I called mr jagdish again as no one visited, he said mam switch on the fridge. If it works after 3-4 hours... Its fine otherwise you will have to change your fridge. And for this fridge (Purchased two years back) depreciation policy will apply.
                                        Highly disappointed with the customer service. Feeling helpless for taking lg product. How can a fridge just stop working within two years of purchase. Please help. If this is the attitude people will stop purchasing lg products
