We have bought a new LG TV Model No. 49UK6360 UHD/4K on 26.05.2019 thinking that LG product will bring happiness to their home. The invoice is enclosed as attachment.
But unfortunately, the TV has stopped working within 4 Months. We requested for service, since the product is well within the warranty period. The details are
Complaint reference No. RNP[protected].
But no service person has visited our home, and our complaint was got closed automatically. We got a message as follows.
"Your Service Request RNP[protected] is closed.( Reason : Customer Self Repair ) & charge collected Rs 0/-, for further assistance call LG on[protected]"
We are shocked by such a poor service from LG, a renowned organisation. Then we raised complaints repeatedly through Phone, emails, and at online portals. Then a service engineer has visited our home 10 days ago and said that Board and Display has to be replaced. But still, the problem is not resolved. I have attached all my emails and your reply as attachment for your kind perusal.
When contacted repeatedly, I received an email from LG stating that Please contact our Area service manager Mr. Subramanian, [protected]. But he is not all picking our calls. Fortunately if he picks our call, he replied without any responsibility and gave numbers of few higher officials. Unfortunately, the said higher officials also did not pick up our calls.
We are very completely frustrated with the worst service extended by your service team. We are thrown from corner to corner to get repair service for our newly bough TV. We wonder, whether LG service team is not capable for rectifying the defects in my TV or your service team is being lethargic to service after sales of your products.
As a last hope, we write here with a slight hope that you will solve our problem. I kindly request you to instruct your team to extend good support to your customers. We already lost hope on LG Products. Your quick action may help us to restore our faith in LG Products. If you also don’t take any action, you will lose a loyal customer and his circle. This may be a very very small loss for you. But, I am sure that your worst service team will work hard to destroy your market.

    The machine ie LG dishwasher i bought few months ago has defect that- after power failure, entire dish washer cycle starts from the beginning. This is utter loss of power & water, please do the needful for rectification on priority.Even cheap machines do have memory backup & starts cycle from where, there was power failure

    Its very clearly written on owners manual page no 24 that machine is having memory backup & cycle resumes on power failure.The local service team is not able to solve & mentioning it as a design flaw.Not expected from reputed brand like LG. I am not at all happy with such a high end product with a flaw.

    I need immediate resolution, else please accept the return of the faulty product & refund my money 100%. I can then opt for better brand machine which has this feature as a basic necessity.
    This issue is creating loss of water & power, which i feel should have been a basic design consideration in today's scenario.

    I have been following up since almost a month with no solution.Hope to get proper resolution without any further escalations.This is my second LG product after 4K TV & I have just started changing from Samsung, which i have most of my appliances. Please do not make me feel my decision being wrong to shift to LG.

      Dear team,
      I have purchased the lg water purifier on 23/03/2019 but after 1st candle has been changed by your service team.
      I'm facing the dirty water issues i. E. Tds issue. I have complained so many time regarding this but still i'm facing this issues. Due to drinking water through this water purifier my all family members are facing some medical issues. Tds parameter is only 8 to 10. We are using hot water for drinking instead o[censored]se of water through this purifier.
      I'm a loyal customer of lg. My all electronics items are of lg company. After lodging complain several times, the same engineer comes for resolving but unable to solve. I personally feel, this purifier service provided by your service center is worst.
      Request you to kindly check this issue and provide the solution.

        This is prathish kumar from chennai. I bought lg tv (43 lh 547) on[protected] at shahs show room chennai. But now the tv has been faulty with some issues. (Video is not coming). I raised a complaint at lg service center, the lg guy came and told me the issues and he told me that the motherboard of the tv has been faulty you need to replace that... The amount should be around rs 27000. Let me know one thing, the 43 inch lg led tv has only 2 years of guarantee? We never use that tv hardly. We used 3-4 hours a day only. We want exact solution for this issue, else we planning to go to the consumer court. We spoke to the lg customer, they also didn't respond properly. Pls reply with the perfect resolution.

          Dear Concern, I had purchased LG UM7300 55'' TV on 25th Oct 2019 from Patna (Bihar). There was a Jio Router free with the TV which a essential product for a smart TV . I was told by the LG salesman that the router will be given by installer at the time of installation but it was not provided at the time of installation. The Installer guys said that we don’t have stock. It was shocking for me. The company like LG giving some offer and denying the offer at the time of delivery. What is the use of buying smart TV without Wifi Router? Secondly when I called the Patna customer care, one person told me that the stock will come by 10th Nov 2019 and we will not deliver you but you have to come to my office. We don’t provide home service. Pl let me know that is this the way LG treat and provide service to their customer? I am really disappointed and will convey this case to your LG India head as well as to Korean team. I need my JIO Router ASAP at home. Hope you understood the issue and will resolve it fast.

            On dipawali i bought an tv set on installement and rebate on hdfc card and same tv was installed next day, when i returned home the next day found tv was cracked though we all were out n window n door was locked.
            It seems defective piece being sold on such occasion on discout rate
            I have complained the matter at different level but no redressal has occured. May i request u to replace the tv or returned it back

              Hi,

              I bought new lg tv on 29/06/19 under exchange program. Under exchange program lg issued paytm voucher codes of rs. 6000 on 26/10/2019. I have tried those codes for different options as mentioned by them but none of them worked. I have raised this query minimum 10 times to customer care as well as through escalation mail, but no response and no one is either bother to respond me back with solution. It's been more than a month's time since issue is pertaining and i am continuously chasing lg customer care through email / whatsapp /calls but of no use.

                I have gave the service complaint on 23rd of october 2019 at lg service centre ooty (Tamil nadu). One service person came and looked and told us the parts to be ordered it will be reaching here by 3 to 4 days. After two days i have contracted service centre we have serviced earlier with some local people. The parts is used by then not original. I remember we have serviced our refrigerator around 12 years ago when there is no service centre in ooty. After that we haven't had any problem until 23rd of october 2019. After frequent reminder the service centre send another service person mr. Arun on 31/10/2019 he will come and fix. Today i had try to contact mr. Arun he is not responding my call. I have contacted one mr. Rajesh who is sits in office. He told today he may receive the courier. If the time permits he will sent somebody. His tone was so arrogant. I don't know in future we should go to lg products. Let you people make up your mind.

                  My led tv is not opening and its main card is damaged. And the service operator is asking for 4200 rupees which is very high and not right amount.

                      Hi team,

                      I have registered a complaint for washing machine service and it was mishandled by the service engineer and he has taken 4100 inr for just changing a inlet valve circuit. When i asked for a bill he told if we go through directly it will charge you 4800 inr.

                      When no body was in home, only my sister was there and he has taken this for granted has i was on phone. Weekend when i came to home and checked he has changed only one part and over the phone he told me that he has changed two material.

                      I need clear investigation on the same.

                        Hope you all are doing well.

                        We believed lg brand, but unsatisfied and escalated.

                        We have purchased[protected] lg washing machine from mylapore vasanthandco branch. We have facing sound issue while machine running time so we have raised complaint on 01'oct. Then technician visit my home on 02'oct he checked and confirmed. It's a motor fault, they took our machine to ayanavaram branch service center on 04'oct and changed new motor and delivered on 11'oct. If i ask him incase if i face same issue on future. Technician assured me once motor changed you will never face this kind of issue in future. But again we have facing the same problem with in 15 days before. We totally out of mind to use this machine. Kindly request you to take a action and replace the new machine to customer satisfaction.

                          I purchased lg fully automatic washing machine (T8077nedlk) from ace electronics, great india mall, sector-38a, noida on 1st sept 2019. On 2nd sept machine was delivered and installed. At the time of installation, my wife pointed out that it has a big dent at the lower end which installation engineer (Neeraj –[protected] denied any such dent and installed it. I informed this defect and shared the pictures of the same with the showroom sales person. Showroom sales person offered me to get the body replaced instead of whole unit, which i denied. Since then i talked to several person from lg service dept. (Lg service engineer [protected], supervisor dharmender ([protected]), ms ritu singh, anuj ([protected]). However, everybody start from repairing the body and then assured me to get the replacement still no action has been taken yet.
                          Lastly, i was in a discussion with mr anuj and on his suggestion, i selected higher capacity (8 kg - 780sjbk1z) washing machine and paid the differential amount on 15 oct as lg does not have same model (7kg) available. However even after 1 week, i do not know the actual status. This is the height of lg customer satisfaction and service.
                          I called lg showroom manager – mr. Shaildera ([protected]) many times and visited the showroom also, every time he assured me that he is in discussion with service dept. And soon i will get the replacement. I don’t know when this discussion ends and action will be taken.
                          Looks like everybody is simply passing the ball in others court and doing nothing and nobody is really interested in resolving the issue.
                          • why everybody is emphasizes to get the washing machine body replaced instead of the unit when the fault is from the showroom/lg side.
                          • the packaging of the washing machine (Refer the pic) is broken which they tried to fix by tape, which indicates that the lg showroom personal knows that this piece is defective before the delivery. Why a defective unit be delivered to the customer?
                          • why installation engineer lied and installed the defective piece even when my wife pointed the dent at the time of installation. Looks like lg showroom get rid of the defective unit by pushing it to their customer with the help of installation engineer.
                          • why i have to call them and remind them the pending issue? It is the duty of lg to resolve the issue but nobody cares in lg once they sold out the product.
                          Now i need my money back as i do not want lg product anymore.

                            I had registered at lg service center for repair of my washing machine. The complaint no. Cn[protected] was registered and a technician fixed an appoint the next day. He came and after inspection he said that both drain motor and sensor need to be replaced which would cost around 5, 800/- thinking that the washing machine is imported, the cost specified would be genuine, i asked him to proceed. He got the parts fixed.

                            However, the next day when i checked the price of the spare parts, i was shocked that he had charged exorbitantly.in the evening i wanted to clarify the same at their given address. To my surprise there's no such repair and service center with the name of bird view in that place. I called the land line and it was out of service. I called the mobile and the gentleman who spoke said that any company makes profit and since you agreed to the price nothing can be done.

                            He is providing repair services to lg and many customers who believe that he would be genuine are getting cheated like i have been cheated. He has no office, no gst registration and is running a fraudulent business.

                            A copy of his invoice is attached herewith for your perusal. I would request that he refund the extra amount charged and he should be blacklisted for cheating the public.

                            After calling the LG Customer Care, I got an SMS with Complaint No.CN[protected] with code 4001. Thereafter, I received a call from a Technician by name Tousif from Bird View who had this complaint number. After verifying the number I was convinced that I'm dealing with a genuine professional from LG and hence proceeded.

                            If this dealer Bird View is not authorized by LG, how did the technician get the complaint number on his mobile. Bird View has registered with LG and hence he got a call for repairs and servicing.

                            How do I share my contact details as I cannot disclose here.
                            I have every item from LG at home as I trust and believe in LG. However, my above complaint is still pending and wonder if LG Support Team will eventually resolve it. I can be reached on [protected]@gmail.com

                              By the trust on the quality of lg, we have purchased washing machine, tv, and fridge from reliance retail, but it is miserable to see unprofessional and non-technical service team who doesn't know how to install the appliances,
                              They were rushing to complete their targets assigned for the day.
                              They installed washing machine without removing the packing bolts due to which there was a major noise and movement due to which we were not able to use the machine, after raising complaints, technical team unable to identify the issue, from past 2 months we are not able to use the machine due to the defective piece delivered to us.
                              I request to the lg management to take necessary action and to replace the defective material at the earliest.

                                I have brought lg split ac two years back & now having issues with ac compressor. Though lg is giving 10 years warranty for compressor, but when they came to know it's compressor fault they are not covering it. Instead of that, they are telling other parts are damaged & you need to pay extra money. Registered complaint 3-4 on their customer care number & online., but they are not escalating it to high level & after 1-2 days they are closing that compliant number without even contacting or informing the customer. I have been contacting them from past 15 days, but they aren't responding. Worst customer service from lg!!!

                                  Horrible experience with LG Product and LG
                                  I bought a new LG washing machine from Flipkart in August-2019, and within 20 days stopped working properly. Logged complaint on 08-Sep-2019 with LG Customer Care, ticket# RNP[protected]. LG Service men came 4 times, to repair the washing machine, but to no use. Finally concluded that it has to be replaced.
                                  Since then I have been constantly following up with LG. Everytime I call LG Customer care, they give a new contact number to call. And I keep of following up with the person. In last 48 days, I had contacted LG nearly 40 times through different mediums. But it is such a pathetic company that it has no interest in sovling customer problem. Neither the company is replacing the defected machine, nor it is refunding the amount.
                                  Behavior of LG is even worse than a road side shop. Even they has some level of honestly, but in LG, there is no such thing.

                                    I have 43 inch led tv, which has got back light issue i called to lg service center, lg engg came and ideentified the issue is black spot they have taken the tv they told 6400 and it will take 4 days after that i called them they not responded properly and they told so many reason for few days after 15 days i called to lg service head bangalore through him i connecte to service center
                                    They told today we will deliver, tomarrow we will delivery... This continues four days after that i told them i will go to consumer complaint they after three day they delivered the tv but the calirity is notsame as compare with before service i asked them regarding thei but the engg did not answered me and the remote is also not working all the options are changed i dont know what to do and they have not given the bill also they came and delivery the tv without giving bill and they have not answered for my query clarity issue i messaged them to give bill i will slove through consumer they have not responded what can i do my son and wife is not happy with the tv because of clarity is not good compare to before service.

                                      I purchased a Washing machine under exchange and they gave one promocode. While going to redeem in electricity bill, it says this offer is not applicable for this product. I want to know whether they are actually giving or cheating us. They taken my old machine also. While contacting the toll free they told to send feed back to PAYTM with the error message screen shot. But even for that there is no response from both side.

                                      I don't know why the company playing like this.

                                      Now the company collected the old machine without paying any amount to the customer and also they cheated us.

                                      Regarding this I need immediate solution

                                        This is a summary of my harrowed experience of having bought an lg refrigerator by putting in our hard earned monies! We have always had other brands of refrigerators but it was my mistake to think i should try lg because ultimately, i am the loser ie. Within hardly a few months of purchase, it is leaking water inside and outside with pools of water on the floor ; now it is rusted at hinges, the gasket has turned black in several places. This is going on since june & my contact with your team has been as below, and all relevant photos sent and taken by them as well :

                                        Date of purchase : 30 october, 2018 (Tax invoice no.[protected])

                                        Observation of leakage : june 2019

                                        Complaint lodged : rnp[protected] on july 30, 2019 (After being sent around in circles ie. Contact service centre and after speaking /interacting with several backoffice team members, another complaint no. Was registered ie. Rpn[protected]

                                        Visit to andheri service centre : october 4, 2019

                                        Escalated on your website for complaints not attended to : cn[protected]

                                        The absurd and ridiculous suggestion is to ask me to move the refrigerator from the location that the builders have provided for all flats! I am amazed at even been told this! As mentioned above, we personally visited the service centre at andheri and met your team and in fact, the service team have themselves accepted that this is an unfortunate situation that we are facing but are still awaiting for the internal approval from lg to get the refrigerator replaced.

                                        I am sure if any of the sr. Management / board of directors put themselves in our shoes, they will understand how frustrating it is to follow up continuously even when they know that this issue cannot be resolved and needs replacement of refrigerator. I have been forced to write on this forum as an escalation point to get the team to attend immediately and replace this defective piece. Not only have i been violated of my right to get a quality product but now, there is no response at all from lg - a company whose logo says 'life's good' - maybe for the employees but definitely not for me.in fact, as mentioned earlier, i regret having made this purchase and even tried out an lg product as this is the first time i have bought an lg refrigerator.

                                        Due to non resolution of the problem, as mentioned above, i have once again escalated this again on lg site cn[protected]. However, if it goes into the whatsapp mode of interacting with your back office team, it will be futile and i will be sent around in circles with different back office staff calling me - each not knowing what has transpired earlier, and i have to repeat the same story again and again and again till i am completely at my wits end.

                                        I am escalating this to you in the hope that you will help a very unhappy customer of lg and not allow me to pursue any further escalation / social media route to express my deep distress on this matter.
