I have a lg plasma tv 42 inches. Bought in 2011.
There were 2 issues for which i registered a service request-
1. Non-start from 18th oct
2. Sound fluctuation for the last 10/12 days.
Service request no – rnp[protected].
On 20th oct, a service engineer visited my place and suggested a device change which will cost rs 7500 approx.
Though i was not comfortable with the amount (I have shared a mail with you on the same), however, i gave a go-ahead.
Yesterday, the same service provider called me to state that the device named – y sus z sus is obsolete and lg stopped making the same.
Hence my tv is obsolete and it needs to be dumped.
My observations-
1. With daily change in technology, each device will be obsolete in the next 6 months. So, if a customer buys a device with hefty amount, will he be in a position to replace it so soon? Is it fair for a renowned company like lg to deprive loyal customers and force them to change the device?
2. I have seen all renowned companies like maruti, hyundai etc who may have stopped brands like alto, santo etc but there are no servicing issue. All parts are available in workshops. Why would lg take a different route?
These are some serious concerns which disturbs a brand loyal customer of lg like me (I have a 24 inch lg tv and also a 1.5 ton ac in my house).
If such is the outcome of servicing, neither will i buy lg products nor will i recommend. I will ensure that the negative word-of-mouth will reach far and wide.

    I bought an lg g4 smart phone about 3 years ago. I was completely satisfied with the product, but some days ago my phone suddenly froze and turned off. I took it to many repair shops and unfortunately i heard alotof of bad rumours about this phone. They all told me it couldn't be fixed and it was dead forever. They said it would happen to all g3 and g4 phones and i can only call lg costumer service for the issue. I bought my phone in iran and now i live in turkey. Therefore i called lg costumer service in turkey and they refused to help me and told me i must call iran's costumer service. Then i called that of iran and they were not helpful either!!! I have always been using many electronic products from lg company and i also recommended them to people, but now i am totally disappointed. I have to buy a new phone urgently and both iran and turkey are experiencing economical crises, and due to that the prices of the phones increased drastically.

      I am an owner of lg led 42lb527610# 31200 bought on may 27 2014 from bismi appliances kaloor kochi. On 8 october 2018, my tv set suddenly refused to get switched on. I changed the batteries of the tv remote as a first measure. I then registered on line and received rnp [protected] on my mobile. There was not much action taken on this complaint. I had spoken to lg tv service centre edapally who informed me that they had no stock of remote control for my model and promised to procure one for me. Meanwhile, i took the remote to an lg tv showroom and found that there was nothing wrong with the remote.
      However, sun direct cable connection guys came in to change the parts that had been damaged due to lightning on the previous day therefore by 9/10 the tv started working.
      Today ie. 19/10 the tv has switched off again. The remote control sensor and power indicator do not work. When the plug is switched on the red light glows temporarily. I request you to advise me on further action on my cell [protected].

        My self abhishek r singh contact no [protected]. It is my painful duty to inform that i baught one lg refrigerator from snehanjali mira road, it is very disgusting and highly irating to even mention that refrigerator delievered to me was stopped to cooling in same day
        It was noticed next day that refrigerator stoppped to cool then i immediately called their customer care and informed about this incident, they addressed my complain and send their engineer to detect the problem, and they informed us that the cooling machine is not working, then i insisted that pls replace it since it is delievered yesterday only and stoopped to work they told my it will take 7 to 10 days since they hve to follow certain process.
        I would like to ask this reputed company what kind of process is this where product get delievered in 2 days and replacement process takes 7 to 10 days and what process they are following before sending their products to customer that it stopped to work in one day, what ever food i kept inside the refrigerator got spoiled and i hve to manage for 7 to 10 days more without refrigerator since my older one was also taken by them. No body is ready to listen to me rather then listening to me it goes to counter argument to hide their mistake. Being a customer what is my fault? Where i m wondering here and there and no one is ready to take my request to deliever new one at the earliest. If it is not replaced today i will approach consumer forum and social media

        Above complaint registered on 10th of October 2018, since our refrigerator is down & the LG technician visited & informed the compressor has to be replaced. This refrigerator brought from Dubai hardly completed 1 year. it is 6 days now LG service couldn't complete the work. A marriage function held on 20th October will be effected. Please help.

          I Received delivery of LG double door refrigerator on 13 October 2018, on 14 installation guy came and found some issue, and same was reported to LG center, as such tech engineer or tech person was supposed to come on other or next day as mentioned by them, but without informing me they have cancelled the tech visit and this has happened twice and it has been more than 4 days still waiting for some one to come and rectify the issue made lots of call to customer care, but they seem to be clueless.
          please help me out with the issue.

            Hi sathya team,

            I have purchased ‘LG 55UK6360’ in Sathya agencies on[protected]. The product was delivered on[protected] and demo & installation was done on[protected]. Same day night I have noticed that their problem in a backlight, I see lost of light bleeding in the TV. The same day I have sent the video and screenshot to the LG technical Person and said that I’m seeing the problem, he said a tech will come and fix that. After 3 days I have called Sathya agencies guduvanchery and asked for a TV model change because I’m unsatisfied with the huge amount of tv. And I have visited Sathya and met the branch manager and explained my problem and the next day the person came to my home who sell this TV and he saw the problem. That on[protected].

            After some days I got a call from LG tech person and he visited and said yes there is the problem and I’ll update and let you know like that ... after a week he called and said that he will change the panel but I said no. I don’t want my new tv get repaired instead I want a new tv replacement.

            I contacted the Sathya guduvanchery and they said ‘sure sir we will push from our side to get you a replacement, I believed them. After one-week, same tech guy called and he said ‘sorry sir replacement not possible ‘ I said no. I spoke with the service manager mr.antony about my problem he tried to convince me but I said that I don’t want to get repaired. Then asked one week for a new tv replacement.

            After one week the manager said ‘ we can’t give you a replacement if you want we change panel which is the best solution otherwise we simply cancel the call’. I said ok .. let’s check.

            Last Saturday two tech guys came and changed the display. During the testing of the new display the problem remains and its irritating eyes. So I asked them to recharge it with my old panel and talk with the agencies like that.

            Sunday I have visited Sathya and explained the situation and the asked two daytime to solve.. till today I haven’t received any call so that I have packed my tv and return to the same Sathya.

            Now the manager saying that why you delayed three months ?? What is the meaning of the question..??? I thought you guys gonna give me a new tv last week then saying only display ?? Why you guys fooling people.. tell me where I have to go for this problem.. I have tried to return my tv today.

            Why they said that they gonna give replacement then they changed plan.. I have attached some screenshots for your reference below. Hope you do needful for me.

            I have visited Sathya by referral by my colleague. I’m sure I won’t recommend to anyone.

              I have requested for servicing and repair of my out of warranty washing machine on 8th october vide complaint number rmp[protected], escalation vide rnp[protected] and subsequently faced the following service glitches :
              A) untrained servicing
              B) irresponsible and inconsistent response to follow ups needed
              C) falsehood - service request closed as completed on system citing customer unwillingness to pay whereas service personnel called customer and cited ill health for not being able to service.
              D) multiple visits on complaint escalation (
              - however each visit starting again from start without any continuity of previous feedback.

              The LG Inverter AC Unit purchased thru Reliance Digital is not working/cooling. The LG TECHNICIAN has pointed out gas leaking as the reason.

                Dear Sir,
                We had bought a LG refrigerator 5 months back. This application is addressing the following issues.

                (1) The bill is attached herewith.
                (2) The piece is bought from Croma, Rajkot.
                (3) The compressor is faulty.
                (4) We had filed a complaint since 5 days but still not got any satisfactory answer from Croma or LG.
                (5) We want
                (A) Stand-by refrigerator by today only.
                (B) A complete new piece in place of this refrigerator. We want piece-to-piece replacement.
                (6) We want Croma to be on our part as we had bought this from Croma
                (7) LG is such a big brand and it is not expected to have fault in compressor within five months.

                  Now last some days ac start automatically after switch off through remote l have registered my complaint online through bhavnagar dealer m/s patel electronics yesterday michenic came from the service station i informed my problem he took remote and switch off the ac made some settings in remote within 90to120seconds & he demand rs 649/ service charges i didn't understand that he not done anything only set remote i ask him my problem solve or not but he demands chg. Then he call service station to a lady she demand chg with me before solve the problem she threaten me that if you will not pay i cancell the all your gaurentee warranty regarding ac mentime my problem was remain as it is so i request to you please do needful to the matter.

                    I have purchased lg 28 LTE convection microwave from dream electronic dehradun on 14 oct 18 . I got a call from [protected] that he will be coming in next one hour for demo sevice. But after one hour got call again from same person saying he will be coming tomorrow morning but till now no correspondence from lg and got one sms from lg which is shown below.

                    Your Service Request RNP[protected] is closed.( Reason : Customer Appointment over 5 days ) & charge collected Rs 0/-, for further assistance call LG on[protected]

                    Now please tell me on what basis my service request been closed. I tried calling dream electronic many times but no positive response, only stating that they will come within 24 hours.

                      On 1-sep -2018 fridge machanic came to my house repaired my fridge and he charged 6000 rs for only changing of thermostat wire in fridge. That time I am not averring knowledge of fridge internal part. later I came to notice that cost 0f the thermostat is around 200-500 rs only. he cheated me. After repair same problem come again. I approached L&t costumer care centre they are not respond .

                        We have a lg washing machine in which when we start the water inlet, water comes in the tank and directly passes out from the drain hose instead of staying in the tank. We checked the drain hose pipe from inside, the rubber and spring mechanism is okay then also the problem is occuring. The drain motor is also fine. We require a solution as soon as possible.

                          I have bought lg refrigerator from m/s. Madhu electronics, sharanpur road, nashik on 25 march 2018 (Bill attached).

                          This is to bring your kind attention that recently from last two month there is abnormal noise coming from refrigerator (Video attached), which was not the case earlier. I have contacted to customer care of lg regrading the problem, there was no positive response from lg limited.
                          Lg is not providing proper service & they are deliberately delaying to attain the my complaint. Even they couldn't diagnose the issue, they are doing their work on trial & error basis. By this way they are just delaying to resolve the issue so that refrigerator warranty period will expire and after expiry of warranty period, they wont bother about my problem.
                          Sir, please look in to this matter to resolve my issue at the earliest.

                            So i had purchased lg ac from croma which gave me extended warranty for five years.
                            But now as there are some issues with my ac they raised me a bill of 10000 rs. Is this justified. I paid 30, 000 for 22, 000 ac which is i paid 8, 000 rs extra in the name of extended warranty and this is what their after sale service is. Plus it has been 14 days to my complain stil the ac is issue is not been fixed

                              I had bought an lg mobile phone from vashi this year. The mobile battery drains within 2 hours and it becomes dangerously hot. When i went to the big boss shop from where i got the phone. I was referred to the lg service center at sanpada. Unable to contact there, when somehow i managed to reach the said address i found that the service center has shifted to airoli which is very far away from my place at belapur. I traced the phone numbers of the airoli service center and its employee sonali karanjker, me ram murti and mr vino, i found that either their numbers were not reachable or after trying for a long time, they wouldn't pick up the phone and occasionally when they did pick up the phone, they gave elusive replies and to call each other. For instance, if you call sonali, she would ask you to call ram murti, who would ask to call vinod and this goes on and on in circles. Not only the fact that the service centres are few and faraway with addresses not mentioned on just dial, google etc, but also that lg takes no responsibility for its defective dangerous phones but makes you run helter skelter. I would highly recommend that no one buy any lg mobile phone ever, as its products are very bad and dangerous but also its service is unreliable and dishonest.

                                This is my second time writing to lg.

                                Phone bought: 09 august 2018
                                Phone submitted: date 09 october 2018

                                My lg v30+ has a hifidac issue (Primary reason for buying the phone was the superior dac)

                                The volume of headphones gets reduced after turning the dac on.
                                Compared it with my friends v30+ and g7, on them the volume is increased when the dac is turned on.

                                Went to the service centre at pimpri. He told me to go to apk technology, saras baug centre
                                Went there, he refused to acknowledge the problem. Next day i went back and i demoed a couple of expensive headphones. He acknowledged the problem. Later he promised me he will change the motherboard and it was available with them.
                                The motherboard they had was also a faulty one so now he is claiming 5 days waiting for the motherboard
                                I had to visit 50 kms 2 times which cost me 5 hours of time and still the issue is not resolved i was not even given a spare phone.

                                Poor service, lack of technical know-how, lack of any respect for customers time and money,
                                Still my mobile is with the service centre

                                To top it all the receptionist tells me that you should be glad that you are getting service.

                                Please address the issue or issue a replacement. You have cost me a lot of money and time.

                                I had received a call from your end telling me that a technical person would get in contact with me when I expressed concern on the technical ability of the service personnel. Please get in touch with me. I am facing trouble because my v30 is my primary phone. And I have received no reply from the service centre as well.

                                  No 14, shanmugam rd, west tambaram, tambaram, chennai, tamil nadu 600045

                                  Product name : lg inverter ac juzd model
                                  Amount paid - rs.44, 500.
                                  Bill date : 05.05.2018

                                  Viveks dealer sales women said if i pay the amount through icici credit card i will receive 7.5% cash back (3000 rs) after 90 days.

                                  Accordingly, i have swiped the icici credit card and purchased the product, later after 90 days amount has not reflected in my account, i have contacted the viveks branch after 95 days and sent the account statement of credit card to dealer but still no proper response was received. They were asking for the bill i got during card swipe. I have asked viveks shop manager to give card slip statement of my purchased product. I have attached that also here. But they are still delaying on this. If i contact lg service they stats that this is not related to lg. If i reach viveks, they mentioned it was not from our side.

                                  I am just clueless what to do now. This is lg cashback only.

                                  Converted to 6 emi's, today[protected] all the emi's completed. I don't know what to do now.
                                  Please take necessary action as soon as possible. I have been personally suffered lot for this cashback.

                                  I have sent mail to lgservice. They are asking payment slip generation. I don't have that slip with me as it was 180 days past.

                                  Kindly look into the issue and do the needful at the earliest.

                                  Please call me/reach out to me for any additional info need. Hope i have given all the necessary details am able to give on this.

                                    Bought the range December 2017. Oven fans went out mid August 2018. Stove is still under 1 year warranty, so, seller can not replace stove till LG attempts to repair three times. First call to LG August 24, 2018. I was told I would receive a call or email within 1 day but to expect contact by end of day. No contact (NOTE: As of this writing, I have contacted LG 12 times and LG HAS NOT made any promised contacts, in return). As of the third contact (on September 10, 2018) LG stated that they did not have nor could find a service rep in my area and would replace the unit. On the next call, LG started the entire process all over again (this has happened three times = start from beginning, search and find no service in my area, promise a replacement, no contact, I call, start over from beginning). Lowes has been trying to assist, but, they are going through the same treatment. // * All information was given to rep on 08/24/2018 and then sent via LG web site 08/29/2018 and then given to Lowes on 09/18/2018 // * my phone number to ref LG version of contacts is[protected]

                                    10/11/2018: Repair technician came by. After removing old fan and parts, tech realized that not all repair parts had been sent. Tech called for remaining parts and was told they would be delivered within one week. // *** It was apparent the oven fan had been installed faulty when the stove was manufactured. "Liquid weld" had been used to repair the fan shaft and jam nut. To get the fan out of the unit, the shaft and nut had to be broken out.

                                    10/22/2018 Repair Technician received and installed parts that were missing from the first parts shipment. Oven was tested and appears to be working. // While inspecting the stove, it is noticed that the cook top is burning and the "glass" surface is forming "bubbles", as if the glass is melting. The technician and I agree that that should not happen because the range/stove is supposed to have heat sensors that keep the top from getting that hot. I am now in need of a cook surface replacement (since the one year warranty is still in effect).

                                      Sir i have purchase washing machine model no t1084wfes5a. Asspeil on 24/08/2018 from khoshla electronic kharagpur, it' s having problem of it's clutch assembly. Service engineer told me it is to be changed. Costomer care told me to report to from where you have purchase. As clutch assembly is the major part with in two month it gone bad. Now i want replacement of product what i have to do please guide me. Thanks

                                        Hello,

                                        I have this model purchased in 2012. Display stopped working. It seems that led screen is perfectly fine, the motherboard controlling display (Hdmi etc) had gone bad.

                                        (1) i raised complain on phone some time in june 2018. Lg service people came and said mother board is not available and charged 295 rs as visiting charges.
                                        (2) not being able to digest that 6 year old tv spares are not with lg, i raised another complain using email method on june 21st, 2018.
                                        (3) some people came, repaired the tv, charged 10000 rs. Receipt attached.
                                        (4) it went bad again in 2.5 months. Now those repair people are not picking up phone. The part warranty was for 3 months as per them, which was 28 sept 2018
                                        (5) contacting lg again, they say these people are unauthorised service people!
                                        (6) again i raised email complain but lg is not responding.
                                        (7) i will have to go ahead and somehow get the tv working because i can't just sit doing nothing - lg is not responding.

                                        Now there are multiple problems:
                                        (1) what kind of service level lg is maintaining? Why parts are not available in 6 years itself? This tv was bought for about 80000 rs at that time, which was not small money.
                                        (2) as per step (2) above, the people who came second time, were unauthorised as per lg. How was my email to lg leaked to unauthorised people? This is biggest problem.
                                        (3) for email complaints there is no case number raised by lg. There is no follow up possible. How pathetic this is!

                                        What do i expect:
                                        (1) at this point of time, i expect lg to somehow make my tv working again and respect the fact that i had paid 10000 rs for the same problem.
                                        (2) if lg can't make the tv working again, i expect to be compensated for the expense i will have to bear in such a short while.
                                        (3) i may buy another tv (No lg for sure) and will have to continue to fight this battle because lg has completely messed up this case my leaking my email to unauthorised people.

                                        And for more information, there is big racket with lg service:
                                        (1) their authorised service people have no clue of how to repair. They just come, give no solution, collect visiting charges (300 rs) and go away. It is good business for them just to collect money. This has happen to me with lg ac.
                                        (2) unethical connection with unauthorised people. You will never come to know till the same problem surfaces again.
