        Shoe Quality

        I bought liberty Healers shoes (Article Name: GI-YFL-01) on 10/09/2021, but the sole and outer material are showing breaks and tear down within one month of medium use. I have also complained about this at the local shop (Liberty showroom at DD Mall, Gwalior) but have not received any response yet. I want the product to be exchanged with a new and good quality shoe or the respective amount refunded....

          On 22 nd august we bought shoes/slippers/bag worth approx 12, 000/- from libertypuram karnal.
          Of all items purchased, I started using healers and a cherry bag regularly. But to my dismay, soon the leather started to get torn from my purse and the slippers are also showing sign of damage.

          I have been a very loyal customer of liberty and with full confidence in quality, I convinced my husband to buy shoes for whole family at one go.
          I am not sure about the quality with other items as we haven't started using them as yet.
          I had been been always wondering that with superior quality and good designs why people prefer some other brands like bata, sparx, action... leave alone sketchers, puma, adidas...
          But this time I am sure that something has gone wrong with your quality check department.

            We had bought liberty product in beginning of April 2021 for Rs. 2, 499/- and it could survive just for 4 months.

            At the time of purchasing it, we had been informed by the showroom salesman that although the product is having guarantee of 6 (six) months only, we will be able to use it for years to come and shall feel boredom with the product as it shall be so long lasting.

            However, in the first week of August 2021, its sole had a major crack. You will appreciate that even a local product worth Rs. 500/- lasts more than 6 months. Whereas product of liberty, the brand, could not run even for six months.

            When the matter was brought to the attention of the concerned showroom, they told us to submit the complaint with the company on the customer care number and/or by email given on the box of the product. Accordingly, I submitted the complaint on customer care number as well as by email on 15.08.2021 sending copy of purchase bill as well as photograph of the product. Subsequently, reminder was sent on 24.08.2021 and on 30.08.2021. However, realizing the fact that the company is not responding despite various follow ups through phone call as well as emails, the matter was brought to the attention of Mr. Adesh Gupta, CEO of the Company on 04.09.2021 but again did not receive any response. Thereafter, reminder was sent to Mr. Adesh Gupta on 15.09.2021 informing that in case I do not receive any response I shall be left with no option but to submit a complaint with the consumer forum.

            In response, I received a phone call from the company on the very next day i.e. on 16.09.2021 stating that company can give two options in such cases- either the customer can get refund of 50% of product cost or credit voucher can be given for 66% of product cost which can be utilized for getting product of the company. With an intent to put the matter to an end, we gave our consent for 50% refund and shared paytm details with the company official, who promised that refund shall be credited by next morning.

            However, we did not receive the refund and we tried to contact the said company official but she did not take our call and did not reverted even thereafter. Finally, we send her a message on 19.09.2021 asking for the refund and she reverted on 21.09.2021 informing that the condition of the product revealed as if we have used it for many years. in response, we replied on 21.09.2021 stating that the product was bought the beginning of April 2021 only then how it can be used for many years. we also asked her to convey company's final decision for refunding the amount promised i.e. 50% but She did not respond.

            Finally, on 24.09.2021, we wrote to Mr. Adesh Gupta, informing him the situation as under:

            "Dear Mr. Adesh,

            With reference to my earlier mails, I regret to bring to your kind attention that despite commitment by your official on 16.09.2021 for refunding the money, neither I got the refund till now nor she felt the need to respond in reply to my reminder sent on 19.09.2021. Rather on 21.09.2021 an attempt was made by her to hold me responsible for using the product for many years although it was bought by me on 04.04.2021 only, which made it apparent that Liberty's product could not last even for 4 (four) months.

            The aforementioned clearly shows that the company does not have any goal to achieve customer satisfaction and is therefore not willing to discharge its responsibilities towards its customers despite specific commitment.

            I preferred to send this mail to you as I felt it is quite reasonable to bring the matter to your attention, you being the pilot of this Titanic. I once again express my deep regret for the same which is forcing me to move ahead towards the consumer forum."

            Hence, we have made all possible efforts over a period of last more than one and half month, but the company is not willing to resolve the matter despite commitment made by it.

              I have purchased a liberty shoes on dated 27.06.2021, today on dated 23.09.2021 I have found that sole of one shoes has been broken. After reached the liberty store the salesman told me the warrant of any sole in only two months. Please explain.

                    I purchased frm libertyshoes online store one kids sandal on 27August2021 for rs399.37 vide order no.[protected] and paid onlin vide recipt no.[protected] of CC AVENUE(collection agency for online payment)
                    No communication received till date, despite several reminderes on email, whatsaap SMS & phone(no answer on phone).
                    Either the online purchase order sent to me or refund the payment

                      After receiving the online order on 19AUG21, shoes were checked and found not fit in foot as well as stuff was not as expected. Soon RMA (RMA: #[protected]) was initiated on 19Aug21 exactly after getting the delivery.
                      Even after 11 days, request was not approved. No customer care executive responded after making 100 number of calls regularly. No reply was given on whatsapp. No reply could be received for consecutive emails.
                      I have already selected shoes in cart, which I will purchase in place of shoes received and ready to pay balance amout. But till time no reply from company side. Very sad experience from liberty as i have been a regular customer of liberty.
                      Sir its my request to please send the shoes which i have chosen in cart, i will pay excess amount after returning shoes received on 19Aug21, which are not fit.

                      I hope you will understand the problem of your regular customer and do needful.

                        I have ordered a shoe from liberty which I had to return as liberty has send the wrong size. ( I ordered 6 and the one that came was 6.5)

                        The reverse pickup was done by shadowfax but the refund is not yet processed. I have written numerous mails and tried reaching on all possible customer care numbers. Not a single number was picked up and no response to the email.

                        I have attached the reverse pickup slip as a proof of return. Please process my refund as soon as possible.

                          Hi, I purchased Clogs 4 days ago which I felt was very comfortable but as I worn them today, after 2 ours the shoes Pesting was open of it.
                          I am sharing picture for the same.

                            Bad communication and Shoes not Replaced from Liberty, 380052

                            I have bought Shoes from Liberty Gurukul Road, memnagar, 380052 on 07.08.2021. I have wear only one time on 08.08.2021. then I fount bottom of shoes was opend. I gave this pair on 10.08.2021 and ask to do needfully.but the shopkeeper has stich self with feviquick and give back to us. you find image feviquick spread in bottom. shopkeeper behavier is very very bad with my wife, when she complained about shoes....

                            I have ordered a pair of chappal online from liberty shoes .it was to tight for me and build quality is very cheap so I want to return the item and need my refund back. But the problem is that they do not reply my mail and calls .
                            This is the worst customer service ever

                              We are using Warrior Liberty Brand Safety shoes since 2011 (couple of years excluded 2013 & 2014). But last year the shoes quality provided to us by the supplier was of old stock. More than 150 employees replaced the safety shoes within the a period of 6 months to 8 months. We procured the additional pairs of safety shoes in between, to fulfil our requirement.

                              Safety department totally frustrated with quality issues as the shoes were getting damaged in stitches, in the toe areas, some of the complains in soles. So we had no option but to issue new pairs of shoes on replacement basis, for safety of the employees.

                              From this we came to a conclusion that the safety shoes provided by the supplier were of old stock or near to expiry date.

                              My humble request you to provide date/ month & year of manufacturing, printed on the safety shoes for easy traceability and tracking.
