I have joined Life Gym Life Fitness Center / Life Power world/ Talwalkars Healthclubs Limited (Ulsoor Road Branch) on March 2019, paying Rs.7000/- (for one year subscription from Mar, 2019 to Mar, 2020) as Women's Day offer week.
The gym was operational till April 2019, until they announced the closure of the gym on 3rd May effective 15th May 2019. They had promised the return of balance amount for the remaining months (mail attached) initiated from 1st of July 2019. Till now they have not returned the balance amount.
They gave offers till the last moment and made sure people join before they shut down stating the gym is on loss. It is a clear cut case of scamming people. Since the members grouped together they kept the facility open but stopped providing water and electricity eventually. Owners are not reachable and the management team is absconding. They were forcing us to join their small associated gyms which doesn't have any facilities given in this gym. This is a scam by Talwalkars and issues like this have occurred with them before as well.
There are more than 200 members affected including me. Some of them will file similar complaints.
I have attached my membership form and gym closure letter.
Kindly help me and all the other grieving members get the balance amount.
