    Dear Sir/Madam

    I am Aruna from Hyderabad, my dad (Mr V Raghupathi Naik) has applied a Renovation loan nearly 2 months ago i.e., on October first week, file No is 108849, i received sanction letter on November first week 2009, as we have a home loan in south Indian bank, the closing amt of south Indian bank is sum 2,60,000, so the agent of LIC his name Mr Madhukar Reddy (Mob no.[protected]) said that part payment will be realeased prior and after we get the property papers and submit in LIC then we will get the balance amt, so first cheque released on nov 7th 09 and we got the papers and submitted in LIC on 13th nov 09, he said the balance amt will be released within 4-5days but its almost 20 days now i have not yet received my loan balance amount cheque. The agent Mr Madhukar Reddy postponing the dates and we called to the head office at ameerpet they are saying they have sum systems online problems which i wouldn’t understand their problem what they are saying. My dad really in trouble and in bad time only due to LIC 's bad processing and idling in procedures...

    kindly requesting give a good response and action at earliest..

      I have a lic policy no[protected] from LIC VIDISHA BR.This policy is salary saving policy and monthly premium regulary deducted from my salary, there is no default in policy.
      I have received the survival benefit after deducting four monthly prem instalment Rs1404.00.as on 14.11.2009.I have wrote many times to BM and requesting on the phone but branch not responded.I request you please return this amount with interest unless i will go to consumer forum.

        I am having fully paid Market plus LIC police vide No.[protected] already due. In this matter I have given letter for detail o[censored]nit and due amount as on date but not received any reply from Branch No. 92 . Due date is 15 Dec 2011 no letter of claim or intimation received from LIC office.Please in this matter and intimate the detail of due amount as on date with your advice this policy will get benefit if I have withdraw after one year.

          I am Miss Chandra N.Patel I have lic endowment policy table 14/16to25 i have paid six premium as from March 28 2004 to March 28 2009. But now i want to discontinue this policy and switch to lic Money Back Policy.

          Dear sir,
          I m C.A. hemlata Sharma I went to LIC D.O. Mr. Subodh Kothari for taking LIC Policy he explained me the policy and I in his good faith took the policy. But after some time I asked him for some querry to solve and that time he told me that I have no time for that and do contect to your agent (who was unknown for me). I was shoked because I didn't know that I have any agent. any way when I contect to the said agent he told me that sorry mam I m not such agent. Know tell me to whom i should Faith. On the time of policy no such kind of charecter of Agent was appeared that time and he created suddenly.
          After knowing the such hidden thing I went to the branch manager for cancellation of such policy but he didn't nothing till date.

            Complaint against LIC agent

            Indian Consumer Complaints Forum

            I am been cheated by my LIC agent. My last premium payment date was May 2009, when I gave Rs. 10000/- to my agent assuming him trust worthy. But he cheated me by not paying my premium and my policy lapsed. I requested him a lot of time to pay my premium and revive my policy but there is no response from him.

              Contacted LIC Office at Ambernath and Boisar, Thane Diostrict Maharastra . I am told it has been paid, but till date I have not receied it. I request your assistance for my dues with interest.

When I stopped to work due to domestic reason & my agency was terminated. I requested to give GRATUITY to me. The Branch Manager than refused to pay Gratuity by saying that I am not competent because my age is below 60 years. I requested several time verbal & written but never I got satisfactory answer from the authority & I was misguided by the authority in this regard.
                Gratuity is payable after 15 years of service or you can opt after the age of 60 or 65 years.
                I have written to Lic Bhiwani TO PAY ME GRATUITY AS ON TERMINATION OF AGENCY i.e IN 2005 WITH INTEREST THERE ON UP TO NOW but no reply so far.

                  Applied Loan vide application no.440400 in the name of Shalini Bhatia W/o. Puneet Bhatia against Property on September 22, 2009 and assured by the LIC officials that you will get your loan within 21 days but till date waiting for my loan. Each and every required paper had been submitted. Earlier had taken loan from HDFC Bank, no problem from them. Sorry to state from LIC Housing, we had a very bad exprience, every week they demand one paper and still there is no response. Kindly return my prosessing fees amount taken.
                  I am D.Venkateshwer Rao and my wife D. Laxmi applied for housing from LIC of Inda from Spanalok complex Secundrabad Branch on 27.01.2011. Personal verification has also done. And every time they asked some paper and we submitted at an earliest through Sumumit Capital finance consultant. Always I received the same message that I am goint to get check Fridays but so far it has not turned up. Even after the completion of 4 months time I have not received check. Now my seller is going to Singapore on Monday at 00.20 am flight and she will not come back up to 10th July, 2011. There is only one day left over to receive check.

                  The pity and shamefulness of LICHFL is that every time they get the problem of computers which will not repaire for some days, some times server downs, recently transfers made which troubled the customers. Now the Regional Manager went to Dharshan of Lord Balajee at Tirumala and he will return on Monday. So LICHFL putting the care of costomers on the will and wish of the officers working in housing department.

                  We both are Govt. Employees and having Rs. 60000/- and above completed 23 yrs of service and yet to complete 12 yrs are facing this much problem, than about others will be too pity.

                  Kindly say the reasons for not giving me the check after giving the sanction letter on Dt: 09.03.2011.

                  I have already paid advance amount to the party and
                  1% amount to LICHFL. What will be the status mine in this time.

                  HDFC Bank called number of time to submitt the documents. Kindly guide for further action. I dont think LICHFL torture the minds of customers with giving insurance to life on other side.

                    My Name is Mr. Vinod Dalvi & I had got sanction of housing loan from LICHF for Raheja Reflections project in Kandivali (East).This sanction letter was received by me on 3-Oct 2009.Immediately after that I am following up with LHF office in Jogeshwari ( East) for disbursement of loan asked by builder.

                    All documents are being already submitted to LIC since last 2 months since that & their official also inform me that all documents are ok however I have still not received disbursement for the same.

                    My application no. is 207827.

                    I do not except such a big delay from LICHF otherwise I would have gone with other institutions which are able to close the process in flat 2 weeks.

                    Request you to please look into the matter immediately as otherwise builder will levy interest on me.
                    Dear Vinod, I have also booked house in Raheja reflection want to apply for loan. can you pls let me know why LICHF is deleying. can you pls share your mail/phone?

                        My following two policies were matured in the month of March and June 2009.

                        Accordingly claim form duly filled in alongwith original policy bond were sent to Hardwar Office in the month of March 2009 and June 2009.
                        But despite of letters, telephonic contacts, i have not received the payment of these policies so far.
                        Mr Saxena, Branch Manager and Mr Sharma, the concerning officer were also contacted by me but to no avail. Even Mr Sharma told me" hame aur bhi bahut se kam hai so dekhenge". Not only this he also spoken loudly," Aap jore se nahi bolenge, dekhta hoo aapko kaise payment milta hai"
                        now I have left no alternate but to approach you.
                        I hope you will take up the matter with LIC Of India, Hardwar BO I and help me in getting the payment.

                          My mother had taken a pension policy no[protected]principle investment of Rs 99000) from LIC in 2002 and was assured a pension of over Rs 700/month, post 2 years of investment. The pension started 10 months late and with an amount of approx 375. My mother decided to surrender the policy in[protected] but was rejected by LIC, however due to her age and health; we reapproached LIC in 2009 and were assured surrender with a Surrender Value of Rs 108000 confirmed by Ms Chandrakumari of LIC. At a later date LIC unilaterally changed the Surrender Value to Rs 74547 and has not given clarifications as required.

                          LIC has taken back the Original Policy Papers and has also stopped the pension amount.

                          I have written to the Chairman of LIC India many times, but there is no response.

                          Pls advice.

                          It is also to be recorded that the said branch is now harassing to me before my submission.

                          LIC seems to just sell its policies and thereafter forget the customers. The officers don't even bother to reply. While LIC claims to be customer friendly through TV adds. Are they misleading the public?
                          LIC of India is not customer friendly and they never bother to reply to Customer's grievances.After the maturity of the policy, they often Cheat the policy holders by giving lame excuses.They remember abt terms and conditions and rules/ regulations at that time only.

                          Dear Sir, Sub: Maturity claim cheque is due from 29.08.2008 and harassed from the branch under policy no.[protected].
                          City branch no. 3 situated at 14 Madan Street, Kolkata-72 who are harassing for my maturity cheque. I have complaint against the said branch for maturity cheque excess deposit of premium and for penalty interest but the said branch is yet unable to send my maturity cheque but in their computer record one cheque issued for the maturity vide cheque no. 0212148 of Rs. 21, 728/-which I not yet received from the branch.
                          The branch has sent me a cheque of Rs. 4096 vide cheque no. 195850 dated 25.04.2011but the maturity cheque of Rs. 21728/- is yet due from that branch.
                          The said branch is careless and harassing to me intentionally.
                          Please acknowledge it and take necessary action against my harassment.

                            Myself Rashmi Borkar have applied for home loan from LIC HFL in Oct 2009 for Rs 30,00,000. I have received sanction letter from LIC on 31st Oct 2009. File No 409035.
                            I wanted certain clarification on the letter hence I visited LIC HFL Thane (W) office on 7th November 2009. Howvere I was suprised to know that the asst manager whom I was interacting was not aware of any matter mentioned in the sanction letter. She asked me to write a letter and then they would revert.

                            I wrote a letter on 9th November and submitted to LIC HFL thane office. Following queries were mentioned in the letter

                            1. Clause 7 : Balance upfront fee of Rs 24000/- is mentioned in the letter.
                            LIC executive Mr Subhash informed us that processing fee is just Rs. 6000/- Later on he changed his stand that for you the processing fee will be 0.5%. However what is mentioned in the letter is 1% processing fee . i.e Rs 6000/- which is already paid and Rs 24000/- Balance to be paid.


                            2. Clause 8 and 9 : Commitment fees and secrity fees mentioned are not elaborated in the letter at all. I would like to know what this means.
                            Letter state Commitment fees : As applicable from time to time
                            Security fees : As may be decided by LICHFL at its sole discretion.

                            3. Fees on prepayment : 2% of the loan amount was mentioned in the letter.

                            LIC executive Mr Subhash informed us that there is no charges for prepayment . Later when I question him about the clause mentioned in the letter he told that there are no pre payment penalty for first six months after disbursement. Howevr no such thing is mentined in the sanction letter.
                            When I asked Ms Smita she said penalty is applicable as mentioned in the letter.

                            4. Rate of interest : I have applied for Fixed + floating scheme in which the fixed rate of interet was 8.9%. However Floating rate of interest applicable after 3 years was not mention. I would like to the the Floating rate of interest after 3 years with respect to LHPLR prevailing then.

                            i.e LHPLR minus ________ bps??

                            This is mentioned in all banks sanction letter but not in LIC HFL letter.

                            Till 21st November 21, 2009 I didn’t get any reply from LIC HFL. I tries to contact the Manager but his mobile no was never available.

                            Such kind of replies and ignorance on the company polices and terms from LIC HFL employees has baffled me. I am not able to understand how can a government organization function with such kind of employees . The sales executives mis led the customers and even the managers are not responsive enough to address customer queries in time.

                            I faced the same issues as mentioned. Only thing is that when I applied for the loan, I should have been told about all these things. However I was not informed. This seems to be very highly unregulated market - where possibly interfacing executives and agents are taking advantage of the customer.
                            Yes. You are very much right. I faced the issue. I got the information from agent that it was because of technical problem [currently they are migrating systems to online].

                            Myself Madan Singh have applied for LIC home loan file no:[protected] for 10, 00, 000 in the month of June 11th 2011 at Dilsukhnagar branch got a sanction letter in the month of august 6th, though following the case with the branch executive repeatedly calling him got a sanction letter approved.The strange thing is that i have not received the disbursement of cheque even after 1 month, I have approached the agent he says due to the telangana bandh your documentation has to be legally examined by their respective advocate, which he is not able to do it as the Registrar offices are closed, Later after few days i approached again he says the same reason though the office are opened.

                            On the very next day i approached to the manager and asked about the file she was very strange and stunned as this was the same file she got it approved for loan in just 2 day and was shock how come the senior executive of her office has done such a stupidity not informing the customer about the legal approval pending and not even to the manager etc...
                            Finally she promised me she will get the status within 2 days still waiting for her response...

                            If this is the case with the LIC HFL treating the customer and bluffing them, i believe coming forth no one would trust such a good housing finance company, Bringing their reputation down...Such kind of replies and ignorance on the company polices and terms from LIC HFL employees has baffled me. I am not able to understand how can a government organization function with such kind of employees .

                                  This is to bring to your notice that I am a Policy holder of LIC

                                  As per your long standing practice a reminder letter along

                                  sent to the policy holder to complete the maturity proceedings,
                                  which I have not
                                  received till date.
                                  I approached to your agent Sri Sambhu Das, Agent code --- 00869413
                                  DO Code --- 0004. who in turn collected a Form from your office and

                                  it up properly, he submitted the Form along with the Original Policy

The policy was to be matured on 28th February 2010 and therefore my agent has surrendered for maturity payment at B.O.-1, Gorakhpur Office (U.P.) for maturity payment on 22 February 2010. However, it is regretted that I have not received the maturity payment so far. Hence, It will be appreciated if the LIC services be made more efficient and friendly.

                                      There is one big cheating game happening in the company of cheating new home loan customers by giving loan at 8.5-8.75 rate; immediately increasing by 150 bps after 3 monthly installment been paid.

                                      My sanction letter specified rate of interest @ 8.5%. But it is increased to 10%. This is been informed to me by their agent that this is the policy of the company to increase the rates after 3 months of installment paid.

                                      The company gives the lower rate only lure customers to take the loan from them; are subsequently been cheated by increasing the rate; when there is no sign of increase in rates in Indian Economy.
