    NON RECEIPT OF MATURITY PAYMENT OF POLICIES
    My following two policies were matured in the month of March and June 2009.
    POLICY No 26203973
    POLICY No 26251123
    Accordingly claim form duly filled in alongwith original policy bond were sent to Hardwar Office in the month of March 2009 and June 2009.
    But despite of letters, telephonic contacts, i have not received the payment of these policies so far.
    Mr Saxena, Branch Manager and Mr Sharma, the concerning officer were also contacted by me but to no avail. Even Mr Sharma told me" hame aur bhi bahut se kam hai so dekhenge". Not only this he also spoken loudly," Aap jore se nahi bolenge, dekhta hoo aapko kaise payment milta hai"
    now I have left no alternate but to approach you.
    I hope you will take up the matter with LIC Of India, Hardwar BO I and help me in getting the payment.

    MATURED ON 28.04.09.
    SUBMITTED ALL THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTS ON 05.05.09.
    TILL DATE PAYMENT HAS NOT COME.
    I had personally submitted original matured policy bearing no.[protected] for matured amount payable as on[protected] at your Oriental Building office, 1st floor, Hutatama Chowk, Mumbai - 400001. Till today i.e.by[protected]noon, I had not received payment instrument. Telephone Nos.22818710 & 22028274 are not responding. Telephone No. given in system for complaint seems to be a Fax No. I had been trying to chase the matter but unable to contact LIC. Informed my Agent Mr.S K Lala about the payment due on[protected].

    Please intimate me the position on priority.

    You had collected contact particulars such as telephone no., mobile no. email id, address etc. but no intimation is given till time and date.

      My mother had taken a pension policy no[protected]principle investment of Rs 99000) from LIC in 2002 and was assured a pension of over Rs 700/month, post 2 years of investment. The pension started 10 months late and with an amount of approx 375. My mother decided to surrender the policy in[protected] but was rejected by LIC, however due to her age and health; we reapproached LIC in 2009 and were assured surrender with a Surrender Value of Rs 108000 confirmed by Ms Chandrakumari of LIC. At a later date LIC unilaterally changed the Surrender Value to Rs 74547 and has not given clarifications as required.

      LIC has taken back the Original Policy Papers and has also stopped the pension amount.

      I have written to the Chairman of LIC India many times, but there is no response.

      Pls advice.

      from branch 10 under KMDO-1

      I like to lodge about the pending surrender cheque which I submitted on 10th June to the said noted branch office and yet they are unable to issue me surrender cheque against my above noted policy.

      It is also to be recorded that the said branch is now harassing to me before my submission.

      I request you to vouch my pending matter and arrange the surrender cheque and send it as mentioned address on voucher.

      LIC seems to just sell its policies and thereafter forget the customers. The officers don't even bother to reply. While LIC claims to be customer friendly through TV adds. Are they misleading the public?
      LIC of India is not customer friendly and they never bother to reply to Customer's grievances.After the maturity of the policy, they often Cheat the policy holders by giving lame excuses.They remember abt terms and conditions and rules/ regulations at that time only.

      Dear Sir, Sub: Maturity claim cheque is due from 29.08.2008 and harassed from the branch under policy no.[protected].
      City branch no. 3 situated at 14 Madan Street, Kolkata-72 who are harassing for my maturity cheque. I have complaint against the said branch for maturity cheque excess deposit of premium and for penalty interest but the said branch is yet unable to send my maturity cheque but in their computer record one cheque issued for the maturity vide cheque no. 0212148 of Rs. 21, 728/-which I not yet received from the branch.
      The branch has sent me a cheque of Rs. 4096 vide cheque no. 195850 dated 25.04.2011but the maturity cheque of Rs. 21728/- is yet due from that branch.
      The said branch is careless and harassing to me intentionally.
      Please acknowledge it and take necessary action against my harassment.

        LHPLR and floating rate of interest after 3 years not mentioned in the Sanction letter

        Myself Rashmi Borkar have applied for home loan from LIC HFL in Oct 2009 for Rs 30,00,000. I have received sanction letter from LIC on 31st Oct 2009. File No 409035.
        I wanted certain clarification on the letter hence I visited LIC HFL Thane (W) office on 7th November 2009. Howvere I was suprised to know that the asst manager whom I was interacting was not aware of any matter mentioned in the sanction letter. She asked me to write...

            Dear Sir,

            This is to bring to your notice that I am a Policy holder of LIC
            Policy No.[protected] due for payment on maturity ,date 28.09.2009.
            As per your long standing practice a reminder letter along
            with a Form is
            sent to the policy holder to complete the maturity proceedings,
            which I have not
            received till date.
            I approached to your agent Sri Sambhu Das, Agent code --- 00869413
            DO Code --- 0004. who in turn collected a Form from your office and
            after filling
            it up properly, he submitted the Form along with the Original Policy
            Certificate to
            the Salt Lake Office on 13.10.09 and confirmed me of the payment, as per my
            option given on the application form, within 15 days.
            After waiting for about a month, I contacted the Br.Manager
            on 13.11.09 to
            know the reason of such delay, who could not reply readily and asked
            me to call
            again. I again called her on 17.11.09 but to no avail. On my call on
            18.11.09 she
            told that, she could not trace out my application and asked me to
            give her a photo
            copy of the Receipt of receiving the application.Which I strongly refused.

            As I am in urgent need of the money for my DAUGHTER'S MARRIAGE , I
            expect your immediate intervention in to the matter to resolve my grievances
            and solve the problem to keep up the name of your organisation.

            I happen to be policy holder No:[protected] . The policy was to be matured on 28th February 2010 and therefore my agent has surrendered for maturity payment at B.O.-1, Gorakhpur Office (U.P.) for maturity payment on 22 February 2010. However, it is regretted that I have not received the maturity payment so far. Hence, It will be appreciated if the LIC services be made more efficient and friendly.

                There is one big cheating game happening in the company of cheating new home loan customers by giving loan at 8.5-8.75 rate; immediately increasing by 150 bps after 3 monthly installment been paid.

                My sanction letter specified rate of interest @ 8.5%. But it is increased to 10%. This is been informed to me by their agent that this is the policy of the company to increase the rates after 3 months of installment paid.

                The company gives the lower rate only lure customers to take the loan from them; are subsequently been cheated by increasing the rate; when there is no sign of increase in rates in Indian Economy.

                  I have a housin loan from LICHFL , Faridabad branch .My approved loan amount was Rs.1600000/-.LICHFL have disbursed an amount of RS.388000/- to the Builder for the upcoming flat.Iam paying an EMI of RS.17952/- /Already paid 12 nos. of EMIs. Dur to the delay in construction work, the builder have alloted me another flat(with same specfications) in constuction progressing tower. Because of this I have applied to LICHFL for changing my loan as per the new allotment. I have applied two months ago, but LICHFL have not yet approvd my application, they delaying in approval , so that I will be forced to pay the delay in payment to the construction company. I have already submitted all the documents as per the LICHFL requirement, so I want a very fast action in this regards..

                    My file no is – 510040.

                    This is Lalit Kumar from World Health Organization. I applied for a Home loan from Ghaziabad, UP Branch. I have a plot in Gurgaon.
                    I want to construct house on that plot so I applied for a Home Loan with LIC Housing in Aug 09. I completed all the formalities with the branch and deposited all necessary documents of property in Aug 09.

                    The problem was that I had a pending car loan. But my agent told me that he will provide the money without NOC of car loan. So I started the construction of basement in Oct 09. After one month, he told me that cheque will be provided only when I submit the NOC and please note after one month he told me this. So I arrange the remaining money of car loan and close the car loan in Oct 09. I fax the receipt of car loan to agent. Up to this point almost 90% work of basement has completed. Now I do not have enough money to start the work and agent told me that cheque will take some more time. It is almost 2 and half month and I have not got the cheque.

                    In the mean time I have given him the estimate of home construction and receipt of car loan. But still I have not got any cheque. Every time I called him, he told me that I will get the cheque in 1 or 2 day, but the condition is same. Now the situation is I have no money. I’m just fed up with agent. He never provides me the correct information about the loan so that I can plan accordingly. Now I am stuck. I have no way out. At this time, he still not sure about cheque. Even he has not provide the correct document and information to valuation department so they have to call me for the valuation report to know the exact details about the property and I have to explain them the whole case.

                    I tried to call the branch manager but every time her phone was switched off.

                    It’s almost more than 2 and half month. Please take necessary action regarding this. I’m now in so much trouble and if situation will be like this then probably I’ll not recommend LIC for Home Loan to any other person. So I request to take the necessary action asap.

                    Service — regarding housing loan

                    Sir,

                    One of my relative, he is a school teacher having patta land discussed with the Bank Official of Dhubri branch regarding a housing loan.In reply the Bank officials told him form for application is not available. so a form through Internet had downloaded and met with the Bank Officials of Dhubri Branch. But he refused and told that form will be available 2 months later and the Internet Form is not valid.

                    It may to your kind notice that it is not a complain against the Bank Officials. I would like to know the process of housing loan. and desire to know is housing loan available at any time any branch if all formalities observed [roperly by the applican.

                    I, G. Ravichandran, had applied housing loan amount of Rs. 9 lakhs at LIC Housing finance (vashi Navi Mumbai branch) 1 month ago with appropriate documents and paid the processing charges for the some of Rs. 1103/- by cheque in favour of LIC HOUSING FINANCE, which was cleared from my account. They verfied all my documents and visited my office and my wife's office for verfication and the agent told me that everything was ok and he will give the sanction letter within a week time. Now almost 1 month gone and no reply from them. Most of the time they are not attending the phone calls. I really do not know whats wrong with them. If it is not possible they can easily say no, then I can approch some other bank for the loan.

                      LIC — not given payment

                      LIC is deny to give claim amount because they lost docket where i have to contact, give me address and phonenumber

                      LIC POLICY — not given payment

                      my father was government employee in GEBin 1999 insurance deduct from salary he was died on duty but LIC cannot give us claim amount because they lost docket and no budy can give proper responce from LIC so, it is nearly 10 years ago please send information on my mail address [protected]@yahoo.co.in so if possible where i have to complain give me address and phone number

                      It is very sad part of not being alert customer.
                      You may lodge complain with CERC ( Consumer Education and Research Center) here in Ahmedabad. It is located on S.G. Highway, near New York plaza. The have handled siilar cases in past.

                        I have been trying to enroll my another policy in LIC website, every time the status shows ERROR for no reason. This is really annoying.
                        I was told to email to the concerned team with screenshot. Not single response for the email. I do not understand why do they have online service if it is not usable by the customers.

                          I CONTACT WITH MY AGENT MR.DAMODAR ABOUT LOAN HE TOLD THAT I HAVE DEPOSIT

                            Please refer to my Policy[protected] with Karkala (Karnataka) Branch. Recently One Registered letter has gone to my Local address (Udupi - 576120). I am staying in Muscat (Sultanate of Oman) and all letters & premium due intimations are coming to my Muscat address. Due to non availability in India, the letter has gone back to sender. Kindly let me know what the letter contains & why this has gone to my local address (instead of Muscat address).

                                there are 3 money plus policies in the name of my wife and daughters. Pol Nos.[protected],[protected],[protected] with commencement dates as 23 02 07, 12 03 2007 and 12 03 2007 respectively. They are showing different number o[censored]nits accumulated though they are bought more or less in the same period. How come these kind of difference erupt. Please let us have the statement of account showing amount paid and units allotted @ NAV applied at the time of each allotment.

                                  Pension Plan JeevanSuraksha P.No.[protected]:will vest on 22.03.2010, Which was maintaning with Ernakulam Br.No.2. I have requested them to transfer to LIC, Chengannur Br.(Kottayam Division) for future operational convenience. The option forms sent by Ernakulam branch duly completed by exercising option sent it to Chengannur Branch on 06.10.09. There after, made several attempts to contact them over phone as well as by E'Mail. But no response emanated from Chengannur Br.
                                  My request is to investigate the callous attitude of the Branch Management and to make them inform me the fate of my policy and whether endorsed the option exeercised by me.
                                  If the attitude of Chengannur branch is like this, I really fear that what will be my fate if the policy is serviced at the mercy of this branch people during my remaining life time.

                                  I have sent several emails to this branch to obtain information about my current policies, even to the attention of Branch Manager. Nobody has responded to me yet. From overseas it is very difficult to communicate if the management has no courtesy or ownership to deal with our queries. When Honey Rajan was working there I used to get prompt reply however, she is now working @Kottayam Office and is not fair to trouble when she doesn't work there. I want someone to look into my email as soon as possible. I have even asked for a phone number to contact which is still not available
