Existing customer treated very badly
I am an existing customer of LICHFL, and would like to bring to your notice that the LIC HFL Area manager at Saidapet office(Chennai), was so rude while talking , and didnot even respond to our queries. I went to the Saidapet-chennai office to enquire about the process in paying a part amount towards my loan account. We were neither treated well nor was adressed with our queries. By contacting other LIC agents, we got to know the process of part payment settlement, and reached the office this afternoon. The working time was mentioned in the office premises that 10:00am-2:00pm and then they have a break for 45 mts. As it was heavily raining it took time for me to reach the office but I reached at 1:45pm. The area manager treated me so badly, shouted at me, and people over there were looking at me as though it is a fault of mine. This kind of behaviour from a person sitting in the clinet relationship position is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. She did not even had courtesy to look at my face or interested to know for what I have visited the office for the second time. She yelled at me, screaming and saying that go out and stand in a very rude manner. why should we be treated such way? This is really an unfair way of treating the existing customers. With profound grief I write this to bring to the kind notice and attention of the LIC HFL. I would be glad and appreciate if these kind of treatment doesnot happen to anyone in future. I am sorry to express that these kind of people spoil country's leading institution's reputation.

I agree with you. I am from Mumbai customer of LICHFL. They work like goverment body. They dnt care about customer. I also wanted to pay prepayments...no one attends you properly...the does not respons to phone calls on landlines and cell as well and even SMS. JUST IGNOR it thats the mantra they follow.
They HO is in South mumbai and too far from my place...it takes whole day to go there and get the info out. I had been there ...came across that you have to give application for 2 % change waiver on prepayments even if its within 10 % of you loan amount and every time you have to do this. Your Area manager will approve first than goes to MO( Manager of Operation. ) Than you can make the payment. I Also asked my area manager to confirm what will be the interest and principal posrtion in EMI after prepayments...i wanted to reduce EMI...BUT i got one thing in return so far...JUST NO REPLY...this is the latest development in last three days. I had given a/c payee cheque to my agent ...and told him to get the required approval and deposit the cheque...
Any body from Mumbai area suffering from these rude LICHFl staff.
I also have bad experience, no body is picking the phone from mumbai customer care center and same thing with LICHFL Haldwani (Uttarakhand)office. If they are not interested in customer handling ask them switch off the phone and then contact number should not be given to customer, only transfer their salary into their account on time.
I applied for a pure risk LIC policy for Rs.25 lacs on 11th July, 2009 to your Vashi branch, Navi Mumbai. All the formalities have been completed to their satisfaction but even after 4 months the company is not issuing the policy despite repeated visits and follow up by me and my agent, Ms. Sunanda Naik. Every time I am being assured that the policy will be issued shortly. The matter needs to be probed and accountability fixed.
I hope LIC has a system of issuing the policy during the life time of the customer.

The receipts of policies are not received to my correspondence address till date. Facing problem for submission of personal saving in my office. I have bought a flat in a SPR Buildtech project named "Imperial Estate" in faridabad in the Oct-08. for this i have taken a loan of rs 40 lakh and got a sanction of rs.40 lakh. we have done 3 payment to SPR for the flat put of which 1st one made by us and other 2 payments done by LICHFL. Now last month we got another payment request from SPR. Now when submitted the request to LICHFL for payment release they told us that our loan amount has been reduced to 34.2 lakh. we havn't got any correspondence regarding this from LICHFL.
For the same issue i have also contacted the LICHFL faridabad Area Manager Mr. Sood. They told us that LICHFL only release 75% of the project cost. and we sanctioned loan amount based on income but rlease loan based on cost (i.e. 75% of the project).
Now, more important this is not mentioned anywhere.
Because all of this we are in trouble and we need to surrender our flat and bear the loss.
SIR I HAD ISSUED A CHEQUE BEARING NO 399281 TO L.I.C OF RS.10689/- FOR JEWAN SATHI POLICY AND THE CHEQUE WAS DEBITED FROM MY A/C ON 03/05/09 BUT STILL AFTER 1 YEAR I FAILED TO RECEIVE ANY POLICY DOCUMENTS AND HENCE I WENT TO THE OFFICE AND WAS ADVICED TO CONTACT RIEVANCE CELL AND I TOLD THE WHOLE MATTER BUT HE SAID ME THAT HE CANT HELP UNLESS I PRODUCE THE FIRST RECEIPT AND I SAID HIM AGAIN AND AGAIN THAT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE FIRST RECEIPT SO IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO PRODUCE THE FIRST RECEIPT THE MATTER. I submitted my cheque for Rs 3148/-drawn on Canara Bank, Perundurai Branch, Tamil Nadu on 21.10.2009 at LIC of India, Perundurai Branch (7101), Coimbatore Division, Tamil Nadu.

The cheque has not been debited to my account till date.

my dad expired last year due to heart attack. While filing up form while taking policy he had some skin problem (probably rashes)and he didnt disclose it in the form.After my father's death LIC Officers claim that he died due to Leprocy (a skin disease).while the death certificate claims of heart attack.
They are jus refusing the claim on the basis of that form. After repeated appeals in the Insurance Ombudsman, they have rejected our plea.
I require some suggestions as what should i do? should i file a case in the Consumer court?

The LIC Slogan " Jindagi ke Sathabhi Jindagi Ke baad Bhee" They are not living to that slogan ,at as far as i am concerned
The Said policy was given to one Shri Chowdhury Lic Agent at loco workshop Parel Mumbai where i was working. Un fortunately his where abouts are not known as i was transfered calcutta bangalore Hyderabad etc
It is known that the amount is still with LIC.
To prove the genuinity of my claim i am recording here the MY policy numbers which i have survived
As all My Regd Letters are not answered at all by LIC office at Santacruz WEST Mumbai

Must be genuine. If you loose one ruppe in your savings account, you charge and disappoint with your bank. Then in the case of thousands/lakhs people will helpless and it is ridiculous that such an organisation LIC the premeire insurance company of INDIA not responding to such inquires. I too faced problem with their customer care. LIC should have similar facilitation of Customer Care like ICICI, HDFC, SBI, PNB and few other private and international organisations.
Why should one would be deprieved of such genuine things man. The amount he saved in the policies might have contributed to the govt and human kind in a greater way.
So such things should not happen at all.

WRONG NAME PRINTED IN MY FIRST POLICY PRIMUM MADE BY ON-LINE PAYMENT MADE BY ME ON[protected]
i wanted to send a registered complaint to the delhi office of lic of india. i have searched on google ,bing and yahoo. i find their website but i do not find their address.this is the first time i have seen this.
how i can i get their delhi office address.
i wanted to write about the fraud going on in the lic of india.
I had purchased three policies i.e. no.[protected],31291144 and [protected] for premium amounting Rs 10000,, rs 10000 and rs 15000 in the names of shyamali bajpai( Daughter) ,shyamaj bajpai and shyamaj bajpai ( Son) on[protected] and the first premium was paid. The agent, one Mr Sunil Tripathi, gave me to understand that an yearly amount of premium has to be paid. I was then posted as Add, Director treasuries having office at the 6th floor of Indra Bhawan Allahabad where your office is also situated. I was transferred to Lucknow later on in July 2007 and I tired to find out the policies from the agent through telephone who told me about his family problems and kept me in dark about the premium payment. After a period of about two years he sent me the policies and document where I found that I am required to pay the installments six monthly whereas the time has already passed. My complaint is against such agent who kept me in dark as I always thought that I have to make the payments yearly. I request a necessary action should be taken against him. I will like to Know what can be further done for these policies. My present address is

Till day i have not received My Original Policy Documents vide Policy NO[protected].
lic health plus policy rejected after one year of payment
I took a health plus policy from LIC for my father(57 age) 15,000/-and after one year i.e at the time of second installment payment the agent said that my father policy was regected and he adviced me that if I took(age 26) that policy on my name i will get a new policy from that date . so that i can be on safe side.
But now i received the bond NOT for that previous year date.I asked the Administrator Officer of my satellite center near to me he replied it is not possible.
So whom I need to blame .
"IS THERE ANY RIGHT FOR ME TO ASK lic TO SAY MY POLICY WHEN WILL BE ACCEPTED " . Is it really takes 1 year to accept / regect.
P.S: if there any possibility of changing the Agents name, as i am not satisfied with his services for my other policies also.
Note: i am not including the policy details bcz of not hurt any one.
but i need a solution for this delay and change the agents name(why should i benefit him if he is not serving my polices)

LIC HEALTH PLUS — Not get clain & also proper information from LIC
Despite of several time follow up by phone at Jamshedpur divission there is no setisfactory answre from there.
They HO is in South mumbai and too far from my place...it takes whole day to go there and get the info out. I had been there ...came across that you have to give application for 2 % change waiver on prepayments even if its within 10 % of you loan amount and every time you have to do this. Your Area manager will approve first than goes to MO( Manager of Operation. ) Than you can make the payment. I Also asked my area manager to confirm what will be the interest and principal posrtion in EMI after prepayments...i wanted to reduce EMI...BUT i got one thing in return so far...JUST NO REPLY...this is the latest development in last three days. I had given a/c payee cheque to my agent ...and told him to get the required approval and deposit the cheque...
Any body from Mumbai area suffering from these rude LICHFl staff.
