My file no is – 510040.

This is Lalit Kumar from World Health Organization. I applied for a Home loan from Ghaziabad, UP Branch. I have a plot in Gurgaon.
I want to construct house on that plot so I applied for a Home Loan with LIC Housing in Aug 09. I completed all the formalities with the branch and deposited all necessary documents of property in Aug 09.

The problem was that I had a pending car loan. But my agent told me that he will provide the money without NOC of car loan. So I started the construction of basement in Oct 09. After one month, he told me that cheque will be provided only when I submit the NOC and please note after one month he told me this. So I arrange the remaining money of car loan and close the car loan in Oct 09. I fax the receipt of car loan to agent. Up to this point almost 90% work of basement has completed. Now I do not have enough money to start the work and agent told me that cheque will take some more time. It is almost 2 and half month and I have not got the cheque.

In the mean time I have given him the estimate of home construction and receipt of car loan. But still I have not got any cheque. Every time I called him, he told me that I will get the cheque in 1 or 2 day, but the condition is same. Now the situation is I have no money. I’m just fed up with agent. He never provides me the correct information about the loan so that I can plan accordingly. Now I am stuck. I have no way out. At this time, he still not sure about cheque. Even he has not provide the correct document and information to valuation department so they have to call me for the valuation report to know the exact details about the property and I have to explain them the whole case.

I tried to call the branch manager but every time her phone was switched off.

It’s almost more than 2 and half month. Please take necessary action regarding this. I’m now in so much trouble and if situation will be like this then probably I’ll not recommend LIC for Home Loan to any other person. So I request to take the necessary action asap.

Service — regarding housing loan

Sir,

One of my relative, he is a school teacher having patta land discussed with the Bank Official of Dhubri branch regarding a housing loan.In reply the Bank officials told him form for application is not available. so a form through Internet had downloaded and met with the Bank Officials of Dhubri Branch. But he refused and told that form will be available 2 months later and the Internet Form is not valid.

It may to your kind notice that it is not a complain against the Bank Officials. I would like to know the process of housing loan. and desire to know is housing loan available at any time any branch if all formalities observed [roperly by the applican.

I, G. Ravichandran, had applied housing loan amount of Rs. 9 lakhs at LIC Housing finance (vashi Navi Mumbai branch) 1 month ago with appropriate documents and paid the processing charges for the some of Rs. 1103/- by cheque in favour of LIC HOUSING FINANCE, which was cleared from my account. They verfied all my documents and visited my office and my wife's office for verfication and the agent told me that everything was ok and he will give the sanction letter within a week time. Now almost 1 month gone and no reply from them. Most of the time they are not attending the phone calls. I really do not know whats wrong with them. If it is not possible they can easily say no, then I can approch some other bank for the loan.

    LIC — not given payment

    LIC is deny to give claim amount because they lost docket where i have to contact, give me address and phonenumber

    my father was government employee in GEBin 1999 insurance deduct from salary he was died on duty but LIC cannot give us claim amount because they lost docket and no budy can give proper responce from LIC so, it is nearly 10 years ago please send information on my mail address [protected]@yahoo.co.in so if possible where i have to complain give me address and phone number

    It is very sad part of not being alert customer.
    You may lodge complain with CERC ( Consumer Education and Research Center) here in Ahmedabad. It is located on S.G. Highway, near New York plaza. The have handled siilar cases in past.

      I have been trying to enroll my another policy in LIC website, every time the status shows ERROR for no reason. This is really annoying.
      I was told to email to the concerned team with screenshot. Not single response for the email. I do not understand why do they have online service if it is not usable by the customers.
      LIC site is again down now.

        LIC AGENT MR.DAMODAR OF SALEM DISTRICT ON JULY 2009 BUT TILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS.

        I CONTACT WITH MY AGENT MR.DAMODAR ABOUT LOAN HE TOLD THAT I HAVE DEPOSIT

          sir,
          Please refer to my Policy[protected] with Karkala (Karnataka) Branch. Recently One Registered letter has gone to my Local address (Udupi - 576120). I am staying in Muscat (Sultanate of Oman) and all letters & premium due intimations are coming to my Muscat address. Due to non availability in India, the letter has gone back to sender. Kindly let me know what the letter contains & why this has gone to my local address (instead of Muscat address).

              there are 3 money plus policies in the name of my wife and daughters. Pol Nos.[protected],[protected],[protected] with commencement dates as 23 02 07, 12 03 2007 and 12 03 2007 respectively. They are showing different number o[censored]nits accumulated though they are bought more or less in the same period. How come these kind of difference erupt. Please let us have the statement of account showing amount paid and units allotted @ NAV applied at the time of each allotment.

                Pension Plan JeevanSuraksha P.No.[protected]:will vest on 22.03.2010, Which was maintaning with Ernakulam Br.No.2. I have requested them to transfer to LIC, Chengannur Br.(Kottayam Division) for future operational convenience. The option forms sent by Ernakulam branch duly completed by exercising option sent it to Chengannur Branch on 06.10.09. There after, made several attempts to contact them over phone as well as by E'Mail. But no response emanated from Chengannur Br.
                My request is to investigate the callous attitude of the Branch Management and to make them inform me the fate of my policy and whether endorsed the option exeercised by me.
                If the attitude of Chengannur branch is like this, I really fear that what will be my fate if the policy is serviced at the mercy of this branch people during my remaining life time.

                I have sent several emails to this branch to obtain information about my current policies, even to the attention of Branch Manager. Nobody has responded to me yet. From overseas it is very difficult to communicate if the management has no courtesy or ownership to deal with our queries. When Honey Rajan was working there I used to get prompt reply however, she is now working @Kottayam Office and is not fair to trouble when she doesn't work there. I want someone to look into my email as soon as possible. I have even asked for a phone number to contact which is still not available

                    With reference to policy No. S[protected]. The last premium was due for payment was on 28.02.2009
                    This is a salary saving scheme payment policy therefore erroneously the premiums were paid till 28.10.2009. It means eight installments were overpaid.Kindly arrange for refund of Rs. 3856/- at the earliest.

                    EXCESS MONTHLY PREMIUM FOR EIGHT MONTHS MUST NOT HAVE BEEN DEDUCTED BY THE EMPLOYER. IF THE SAME IS PAID TO INSURER AFTER SUCH DEDUCTION, IT SHOULD BE REFUNDED TO THE POLICY- HOLDER AAT THE EARLIEST.

                        I am an existing customer of LICHFL, and would like to bring to your notice that the LIC HFL Area manager at Saidapet office(Chennai), was so rude while talking , and didnot even respond to our queries. I went to the Saidapet-chennai office to enquire about the process in paying a part amount towards my loan account. We were neither treated well nor was adressed with our queries. By contacting other LIC agents, we got to know the process of part payment settlement, and reached the office this afternoon. The working time was mentioned in the office premises that 10:00am-2:00pm and then they have a break for 45 mts. As it was heavily raining it took time for me to reach the office but I reached at 1:45pm. The area manager treated me so badly, shouted at me, and people over there were looking at me as though it is a fault of mine. This kind of behaviour from a person sitting in the clinet relationship position is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. She did not even had courtesy to look at my face or interested to know for what I have visited the office for the second time. She yelled at me, screaming and saying that go out and stand in a very rude manner. why should we be treated such way? This is really an unfair way of treating the existing customers. With profound grief I write this to bring to the kind notice and attention of the LIC HFL. I would be glad and appreciate if these kind of treatment doesnot happen to anyone in future. I am sorry to express that these kind of people spoil country's leading institution's reputation.

                        I agree with you. I am from Mumbai customer of LICHFL. They work like goverment body. They dnt care about customer. I also wanted to pay prepayments...no one attends you properly...the does not respons to phone calls on landlines and cell as well and even SMS. JUST IGNOR it thats the mantra they follow.

                        They HO is in South mumbai and too far from my place...it takes whole day to go there and get the info out. I had been there ...came across that you have to give application for 2 % change waiver on prepayments even if its within 10 % of you loan amount and every time you have to do this. Your Area manager will approve first than goes to MO( Manager of Operation. ) Than you can make the payment. I Also asked my area manager to confirm what will be the interest and principal posrtion in EMI after prepayments...i wanted to reduce EMI...BUT i got one thing in return so far...JUST NO REPLY...this is the latest development in last three days. I had given a/c payee cheque to my agent ...and told him to get the required approval and deposit the cheque...

                        Any body from Mumbai area suffering from these rude LICHFl staff.
                        I also have bad experience, no body is picking the phone from mumbai customer care center and same thing with LICHFL Haldwani (Uttarakhand)office. If they are not interested in customer handling ask them switch off the phone and then contact number should not be given to customer, only transfer their salary into their account on time.

                          I applied for a pure risk LIC policy for Rs.25 lacs on 11th July, 2009 to your Vashi branch, Navi Mumbai. All the formalities have been completed to their satisfaction but even after 4 months the company is not issuing the policy despite repeated visits and follow up by me and my agent, Ms. Sunanda Naik. Every time I am being assured that the policy will be issued shortly. The matter needs to be probed and accountability fixed.

                          I hope LIC has a system of issuing the policy during the life time of the customer.

                          I APPLIED FOR THE LIC POLICY PLAN TERM 190-20 ON 23/5/2009 BUT REGRET TO INFORM THAT DESPITE OF MORE THAN 6 MONTHS & PREMIUM PAID FOR THE AMOUNT Rs 9075 BY CHEQUE, I COULD NOT GET THE POLICY. I HAVE GONE THROUGH MEDICAL CHECKUP TWICE I TRIED TO CONTACT MR BHOODEV D.O. (CODE No 5158 )ALSO BUT COULD NOT GET ANY SOLUTION. EVERY TIME I AM BEING ASKED FOR NEW DOCUMENTS. I HAVE CLEARLY TOLD AGENT & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER NON-AVAILABILITY OF INCOME TAX RETURN OF 2007-08 & THEN ONLY I GAVE THEM DOCUMENTS. NOW THEY ARE ASKING EITHER TO GIVE THE IT RETURN ELSE GIVE CONSENT SO THAT LIC SHALL REFUND THE AMOUNT AFTER DEDUCTION OF CHARGES. WITH NONE OF MY FAULT I WOULD HAVE TO BEAR THE LOSS IN GETTING REFUND. I WOULD REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY EITHER ISSUE INSURANCE POLICY IN MY FAVOUR OR REFUND MY ENTIRE AMOUNT OF PREMIUM PAID.

                          I applied for the LIC plan term 164 on 23/02/09. I have paid two premium of an amount of Rs1787.00 each. But regret to inform you that I have not received my policy document in
                          spite of my repeated communication with policy purched branch Ara Bhojpur Bihar, which
                          Branch code is 528.
                          Kindly look into the matter and asked the concerned branch to dispatch my
                          policy document.

                            I have bought a flat in a SPR Buildtech project named "Imperial Estate" in faridabad in the Oct-08. for this i have taken a loan of rs 40 lakh and got a sanction of rs.40 lakh. we have done 3 payment to SPR for the flat put of which 1st one made by us and other 2 payments done by LICHFL. Now last month we got another payment request from SPR. Now when submitted the request to LICHFL for payment release they told us that our loan amount has been reduced to 34.2 lakh. we havn't got any correspondence regarding this from LICHFL.

                            For the same issue i have also contacted the LICHFL faridabad Area Manager Mr. Sood. They told us that LICHFL only release 75% of the project cost. and we sanctioned loan amount based on income but rlease loan based on cost (i.e. 75% of the project).

                            Now, more important this is not mentioned anywhere.

                            Because all of this we are in trouble and we need to surrender our flat and bear the loss.

                              SIR I HAD ISSUED A CHEQUE BEARING NO 399281 TO L.I.C OF RS.10689/- FOR JEWAN SATHI POLICY AND THE CHEQUE WAS DEBITED FROM MY A/C ON 03/05/09 BUT STILL AFTER 1 YEAR I FAILED TO RECEIVE ANY POLICY DOCUMENTS AND HENCE I WENT TO THE OFFICE AND WAS ADVICED TO CONTACT RIEVANCE CELL AND I TOLD THE WHOLE MATTER BUT HE SAID ME THAT HE CANT HELP UNLESS I PRODUCE THE FIRST RECEIPT AND I SAID HIM AGAIN AND AGAIN THAT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE FIRST RECEIPT SO IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO PRODUCE THE FIRST RECEIPT THE MATTER. AFTER THE INSTANCE I WENT TO HIM AGAIN WITH THE WRITTEN COMPLAINT BUT HE REFUSED TO RECEIVE THE LETTER. UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, I WAS LEFT WITH NO OPTION BUT TO POST THE WRITTEN COMPLAINT AND MY MATTER IS SIMPLE IF I MY POLICY WAS NOT PROVIDED THAN MY HARD MONEY SHOULD BE REFUNDED BACK WITH INTEREST.

                                annuity cheques are not received (Super annu Pension policy)

                                On regination of my Employment, my super annuation fund was deposited into LIC's Pension and Group Schemes Department Delhi DO I Jeevan prakash 25 KG MARG NEW DELHI, from AT & T India Employees' SUPN Fund on 24.02.1007,

                                I was told that from 2008 I shall receive annuity cheques. But I haven't received both 2008 and 2009 yet.

                                Policy no written on docment provided to me is , IMAN ---...

                                I am katade ravindra laxman, i have one policy from lic of India no.[protected], I have registered under ECS for the deduction of premium from my SBI,Katraj,PUNE saving A/C no [protected].
                                I recd a letter for lapsation of policy due to non payment of premium,while for other policies regular ECS premium deduction is there. So what is the problem in deduction of for this perticular policy.
                                please help

                                  I Deepa S, hold a master policy (Group Pension) with the
                                  below details:
                                  Policy No: 304801
                                  Annuity No : 011Y[protected]

                                  I had to receive my pension cheque by Sept 3, but I
                                  have not received the same for this year. When I contacted LIC people, I was told that I would receive the same by Sept 15. But till now, I have not received the same.
                                  I have sent repeated reminder mails to [protected]@licindia.com, but of no use.
                                  Also their number remais either busy or no one lifts the phone, inspite of repeated calls.
                                  Could my pension cheque be dispatched as soon as possible.
