ON 10/04/2017 I had paid my electricity bill using Mahavitaran app of MSEDCL. As the slip of the same is provided below shows that the payment status as failed. Though i have got message from PNB bank that the same amount has been debited. And then after i waited for 2 days to update the status either in my bank account or in bill payment history page of mahavitaran. also tried to contact both PNB bank and MSEDCL bill payment customer care but issue has not been yet resolved.

    Dear Concerned,

    This is to bring to your notice that I have raised several complaints and have been following up with MSEDCL, Wagholi as well as Rural Office at Hadapsar for faulty meter and subsequently exorbitant bills every month.

    My consumer no. is[protected]. My address is Green Groves, Wagholi.

    From September 2016 till Feb 2017, every month bill shows 224 units consumed. Mr. Vilas Mahadik at Hadapsar took a complaint about the same in the month of February and yet this has not been resolved.

    Again on 6th April 2017, I received a hopping bill of Rs. 24850/-.

    Hope the concerned team will make a note of this and do the needful.

    But payment is not yet confirmed from your side and it appears as unpaid in view /pay bills

    Please let me know the status.

      Hi,

      I have may many service request for change of my meter by none of the request were resolved. below are my request. Everytime I need to pay for more than 100 units, but I consume nearly 70 - 90 units per month. for correction they are adjusting the units per month. so please suggest.

        The meter reading taken for electricity bill is more than 30 days and has been done multiple times before. This has been brought to notice now and due to increased days reading, the tariff is increased accordingly and the final bill is increased multiple times. I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the same as it is the only way to get justice.
        I request you to please look into the matter personally and bring justice to the common man like me

          I have received my Electric bill during the period of 20th Jan-21st feb, 2017. The bill amount is Rs 1750. The bill appears to be inflated, as I am out of India and no one is staying at my residence. The consumption of electricity is not possible.

          I am physically unavailable to the country. So present there and submit any complain is not doable. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

            Dear Sir,

            Myself Pankaj Prajapati a MSEB consumer of Achole unit - 4867. My consumer no. Is[protected]. This mail is regarding to no action taken regarding to wrong bill posted and frequent meter complaints since 5-6 months.

            Till now I have done several complaints from by presonally visiting to Achole office regarding my high bill charges and meter status showing RNT as well as I have done online complaints, my complaint no. are 4807018 which I did in September16 and because of no reply again a new complaint was loged no. Is 5326917 but neither the achole office nor online cosumer care soughted out the problem which I am facing since past 5-6 months.
            Here in the office of Achole without giving any solution they just ask the consumer to pay the bill of half the amount written on the light bill charged. And when I ask them why should I pay such a huge amount then the reply given is next month when new bill will generat my balance amount will be credited in the bill. But till now nothing has been credited and instead again a new high bill is charged.

            My Last months bill February17 i got was without bill unit consumed and the bill charged was of 4430/- on the otherhand I received a message from MSEB that my unit consumption was 2 units i.e my reading was from 6812 to 6814. When I complained about the same my bill was reduced to 2000 and when I questioned why should I pay such a huge bill for 2 units the answer was same as always, they asked me to pay the amount and told me that in next months bill it will be credited. Now this month again I have been charged a bill of 2460/- and the meter status is RNT.
            So, I kindly request you to take the necessary step and bring me out of this miserable situation as now I dont have any trust on these achole unit officials and secondly whenever I ask these people to give an appointment to meet with Mr. Bharti the Achole unit head. Everytime the answer is he is busy come tommrow and when I ask them to change my meter if it is not working properly then the reply is we dont have new meters and we are out of stock from past many days.
            So, I beg to you people being a government servant to resolve my problem as soon as possible as here the officials are bunch of frauds and not doing their work genuinely. They generally disconnect the meter within a month if bill is not paid and at the same time if I complaint about the high bill the answer is you will have to pay it or else we will disconnect the meter. This is absolutely dicatorship.
            I have attached some bills and documents for your reference kindly check it. Looking forward for your precious action and reply.

              As I noticed my billing from last 5 month meter reading showing same i.e '219 Unit'. and current and previous reading also shows same i.e.9723.how's that possible. If this readung is valid then bill may be generate of 0 Unit only but price in every month varies and amount always more than Rs.1600. And in last months bills i.e. March 2017 MSEB got height of mistake, they give the meter picture of another consumers and printed on my billing. so this is almost frauding us. as per current current and previous reading bill may b normal that is below 2Rs.200 but they charged huge amount. Meter reading is Zero but they shows 219 . and in my actual meter reading is different. So this is fraud to me. request you to please help us for this case and suggest properly.

                MSEB reading in month of Feb-17 recorded on 26th Feb. But for the month of Mar-17 reading taken on dated 28th evening instead of 25th Mar to count 30 days billing.As the reading taken delayed by 3 days, units in the month of March are more (103 unit).So the per unit rate for billing will be 6.73 Rs/- instead of 2.98 Rs/- which is not acceptable.
                So it's my humble request as my average unit/day is 4 units reduce the 12units & generate the billing so that I will pay the mar bill as i did regularly or i will not pay the bill in this march month.MSEB adjust the reading unit in month of April-17 billing.I will directly pay April bill only & for that MSEB gave me written acknowledgement regarding the same on my mail or SMS on my mobile.

                      3] We are two members in family and have routine equipments as normal family. We four times visited your various offices but they neither take written complaint nor listen to us. All they say arrogantly that you must pay the bill and our meters are ok.
                      4] We are very anxious to sort out this problem as any normal person cannot pay high bills. We even contacted an electrician and checked if anything wrong. But he said nothing wrong with equipments and usage.
                      5] Only once your office took our complaint on 10 Jan.2017 but no action taken.
                      6] Every month we go to your office requesting to give installments. Since 17 Mar.2017 we have paid 41, 580. On 17 Mar. 2017 we have paid installment of 2650 and new bill came on 18th of Rs. 5560 having last date of 30 Mar. 2017. Now again I should go to your office and plead to give time.
                      7] Now since two months your employees come at any date and time and say they have come to cut the electricity. They have no time to listen or see the payment receipt. They simply play their equipments and say now they are cutting the wires.
                      8] Your employees said that our company is holding our salary and we must recover the bills no matter what. If we do not do this our company will go in private hands. It is your problem but why normal citizens get tortured? In one week they visited us three times and do not listen or see the papers.
                      9] Now I request you to take following actions.
                      10] Check all bills and check the meter or replace the meter.
                      11] Return excess amount paid by me within 10 days or I will be forced to take legal action against your company.
                      12] Give instructions to your officers and concerned staff not to cut the electricity. If this happens I will go to high court and customer court. To get justice I will go to any authority.
                      13] Keep maintain status quo as it is up to result.
                      14] Hence it is my request that take this matter seriously and give solution to my problem at earliest.

                          On behalf of Alliance Harmony Condominium (Apartments) situated at Gangote Path, Behind Joshi Hospital, Opp Kamala Nehru Park, Pune 411004, we want to bring to your notice the dangerous exposed cable at the Feeder Pillar. On a couple of occasions, I noticed that some speedy vehicles were about to hit the exposed cable. The road is too narrow and is a treat to serious accident / fire / complete electricity cut off to this building.

                          When I visited the Deccan Office of MSEDCL on 4th March 2017, I was advised that I should send some pictures to Mr. Bhave (Chief at Deccan Office) on his mobile [protected]. I personally called him on his number and spoke to him about the complaint. As requested by him, pictures were sent to Mr. Sathe at the MSEDCL Office at Deccan Branch on What's App on March 06, 2017 - but so far no action taken / no communication received.

                          Two pictures and our electric bill are attached for your ready reference. I suppose that MSEDCL would not wait until a serious accident takes place !

                          The exposed cable should not be seen outside -but should be properly set from the underneath. Further a wire string holding the cable upright is a crude way of handling Feeder Pillar issue.

                          I suppose that this complaint will be attended at once.

                            Details of the above bill mention an amount of rs 458.85 as electricity charge for 120 units consumed

                            On the same bill/page the tarrifs mentioned are as follows

                            Units tarrif /unit wef 01/11/2016

                            0-100 2.98
                            101-300 6.73

                            So the calculation works out as follows

                            First 100 units @ rs 2.98 = rs 298
                            Bal 20 units @ 6.73 = rs 134.60


                            Total rs 432.60

                            Where as the amount charged is rs 458.85 a diff of rs 26.25

                            What is the explanation for this difference?

                                For the month of February, I have received a high amount of electricity bill for my flat.. The bill I received is of 3910 Rs. which is very high as compared to my previous bills which were always in range of 600-650 Rs.
                                When I filed a complaint in the customer care centre, yes they registered the complaint, but they were not ready to help me further instead they asked me to visit the Subunit of electricity board in Sangvi. I requested them that it will not be possible for me to reach there as I work in a private company and I would not be able to reach there before the next weekend[protected] and they would come to cut the electricity on[protected] as it is the last date of submission of Bill.
                                When I made a call to Sangvi subunit, Their phone rang but nobody attended the call, I tried several times but there was no response.
                                Tomorrow they will come to cut the electricity and they are not bothered about the wrong bill generated.

                                  I live in Kalpataru Splendour Society of Wakad, Pune (It's near Datta Mandir, Wakad). From last Thursday (16th March, 2017) we're facing frequent and long (at least for 4 hour long) power cuts almost everyday. I work from home and it's very difficult for me as due to such long and frequent power cuts I'm unable to access internet through wifi for long time. Also, it's not possible to run your laptop for 4 hours without power. I'm sure others in my society and neighborhood are facing similar or different issues. Please let us know how long this problem will persist so that we can plan accordingly. Also, we hope this issue will be resolved soon as this is causing major inconvenience in our daily personal/professional lives. Please reply.

                                  Sir i have rcvd bill for 1185 & 381 unit for 2 months so meter is regular residential(consumer no.[protected]...Meter is faulty., I have given complaint to hingoli division Chief Engineer but that man told me I am not help I.

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    I am a resident of 16 g.s. colony, Near Hire Bhavan, Station Road, Dhule . My customer no. is[protected]. From last 5-6 months my MSEB light bill range is between Rs.400-500 and as seems as reasonable. But on this time i received bill amount of Rs.920 due to taken of late meter reading. Every month on date 9th meter reading was taken but on this time 15th date meter reading takes. Due to this delay my MSEB bill amount is high. So I request u to gives me the relief of reducing the MSEB bill amount and takes necessary action as soon as possible .

                                      This with regards to the complaint no : 5752542 & 5752608 (cons[protected]

                                      I would like to lodge a complaint for harassing a senior citizen by not adhering to the complaint made by her on 20th March 2017.

                                      the very word " complain' means the customer is not happy, there has been some kind of dis-satisfaction with the service provided. It surprises me that I, had to call 4 times to remind about my complaint with absolutely no solution.

                                      I have been getting messages about meter readings which was never taken at the first place. The least I expect from you is a simple call to investigate about the complaint.

                                      My mother, who uses your service, has been asked to personally go to your office and submit the meter reading every moth. I would like to know the reason for the same. Ideally its your responsibility to send someone to collect the reading. Why do you expect a senior citizen to do that. This is pure harassment and mental torture.

                                        Hello, my name is Sachin, i was trying to log into the MSEB Medi claim website, i.e http://mseb.mdindia.com:82/ This was the last date to fill the enrollment forms, i tried from morning till late night now its 12:22 am in the night, still this website is talking ages to load, you wont believe the time it take to load, first of all it never loads, and when it loads, and you click on login it doesn't work again for next 10 mins literally, this is the most annoying websits i came accross in my whole life.
