Requesting concerned athourity of MSEDCL to restore supply immediately at my residence.

    Dear Sir,
    My name is Atul Kadam. i reside in Chawl Number 117, Room Number 1/A, Shivdarshan, Parvati, Pune, 411009.
    A person, Kishor Thakaji Shinde, started living on my land and, out of sympathy and generosity, we let them stay on the land. However, after a while, he and his family started fighting with us and constructed a number of rooms on my land. He has bribed the electricity department officials and got an electricity connection as well. I have been complaining to the MSEB officials since the last 2 months but they have taken no action. Mr. Kamble, Junior Executive Engineer at Khandekar Shala Aranyeshwar, Pune is the MSEB official responsible for giving an electricity meter to Kishor Shinde. In order to get an electricity connection, one needs to produce the house tax reciept and the permission letter from the land owner. Kishor Shinde has none of the above. In addition, according to law, slum residents are not allowed to have two separate electricity connections on one address.
    However, MSEB has provided Kishor Shinde with an electricity connection despite the fact that I already had a connection at the same address. I have complained to Mr. Kamble several times that Kishor Shinde was given the connection even though he meets none of the legally required criteria. However, all my complaints were dismissed and Kishor Shinde continues to live and enjoy electricity at my address. I have brought the matter before all concerned officials in the MSEB offices in Pune but none have taken any action. It is clear that Mr. Kishor Shinde has bribed the officials at Pune.
    I would be grateful if you could help me ensure that Mr. Kishor Shinde does not continue to enjoy electricity at my residential address. I would like to know how one can take action against the irresponsible MSEB officials.

      Every time the Line men for repairs come 3rd day of Without Electricity. Even if we have given a Complaint to Customer care we have registered a complaint in Office of Thatavade and Answer from the Office Boy comes that " we will come to repair the for connections after Complaint Registeration second day" the 3rd Class service for Customer who is Paying the Bills regulary and 1st Class service for those who take Theft of Electricity.

      If sevices are not resumed whom should we approcah?nobody to care....

        Before i starting complaining , i humble request to you please take very serious and strict action against it cause i am ... sorry not only i am around 35000 villager people frustration is showing there them anger, we are so in trouble our area electricity is have under MSEB Board and every day they cut off our light more than 11 hours we are so frustrated and like feeling blind without light. and they cut off our power from morning 5.30 am to 9.00 ...then 12.30 to 4.00 am ...then again 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm till night. withoutt light we can't do it any thing. but beside our 500 meter around area they providing 24. hrs electricity. i don't understand why they are trite us like very third class people. we are paying also electrical bills time to time every month in large amount. Again i request you please take proactive action against it.

          The MSEB at Thane is harrassing single individuals to fulfil their corrupt pockets by cutting off power despite paying the electricity bill. The incident is as under....I come home at 9 pm to realise that my power is cut off by MSEB officials stating I have not paid the bill. Please note that the bill date was July 12, 2012...despite paying my bill online on 3rd July 2012 at 11.16 AM via transaction no.[protected].

          I call the call centre and the female executive cuts my call at 9.15. Later I speak to Bhavesh, a nother call centre executive who questions me on my details. He then goes to say that the complaint cannot be registered as the server is down & would give a call. I do not get a call and thereby decide to call & third executive picks up & when asked for Bhavesh cuts the call. I call again finally to reach Bhavesh who speaks rudely & continues with the reason of server being down.Once again I call & ask for Bhavesh's manager. There immediately Bhavesh ensures he registered my complaint before I talk to them and share the experience.
          Then I tell them that I would be approaching the media, if not rectified in an hour. Hence I get a call mentioning that they would do the needful
          I beleive this is purposefully done by MSEB as they are on the prowl for pocketing money where individuals reside.My complaint is now against purposeful harrasment, carelessness of MSEB & mental disturbance.

            I am residing at ADAI village new panvel, regularly facing power cut . My child who has to undergo regular medications cannot due to the regular power cut. Each time the line man tells a different story, sometimes the post has fallen down or sometimes the transformer has blown off etc.We the consumers have to go through this trauma even when the zilla panchayat president knows about this problem.If this is the scenario , then how can anyone feel satisfied with services of the MSEB . All the top engineers sitting in the high post cant even find out the root cause of this regular problem and get it solved , nor have they put any effort . This is the reason each time consumers are getting fed up of the system and have to write complaints ...so that atleast the people who take big salaries realise the importance of poor people living with out these facilities. I once again urge the MSEB engineers at new panvel to wake up and do something to get this regular power cut sorted out.

            we have a shop, but we haven't takke commercial meter.because we just builded that shop.then the peoples of MSEB came they give letter of fine to us in one hand &they cut over light by other hand.

            Myself Sachin Kokate residing at Shivaji nagar, Durgule chawl, Bhandup (W). this is to bring your kind notice that we are facing frequent power failure in our locality due some or the other problem. We are really fed up of this issue. At present there is power loss for last 24 hrs and none of the concerned person has turned up yet.We would be really glad if you look up to this issue personally and get it resolved at the earliest or else we would escalate this matter to higher authority.

            eveery day in morning there is undeclared power cut in pimply saudagar .Power goes off any time early in morning and comes late ,it is very difficult for us as we have to rush for office at that time only .

            We M/s. Supertech Instrumentation Services (I) Pvt. Ltd., having our office at 107, Vardhaman Industrial Complex, Old Mumbai Agra road, Gokulnagar, Thane (W) - 400601, Maharashtra.
            We are extremely facing power failure problem in this industrial premises due to failure in any one PHASE of M.S.E.B., this cause absolutely inconvinience and disturbance in everyone's work in the offices. Our office Machineries and other equipments stops fully in working time when power failure occurs frequently 2-3 times in a day. We need some solution to stop this Nuisance.

            There is another company in to real estate development with the name Supertech Limited. There are too many posts raising multiple issues against this company.

            I S.Lekha a student of Florence Public school 8th Standard ICSE.
            am facing great problem everyday from the beginning of the month of February
            because of the regular power cut every day in 1st block R.T.Nagar bangalore.

            Since, My Exams are nearing this March and my 2nd Pri Final exam is going on ....I am not able to study during evening between 6p.m to 9p.m and Many times
            in the afternoon as well because of this I have to do night study and early morning
            studying which would probably effect my health and great stress on my mind.

            Hence I would like to consider by pledging you to take immediate action regarding this note and solve this problem. I suggest you to cut power in day times
            instead in night times..... and oblige.

            Dear MSEB,
            I am a resident of Vasai Road. Can you tell me why there is 7 hours power cut for the day implemented in vasai. If there is no power than why permissions for new construction are given? First give adequate supply to existing infrastructure in the city.
            Also MSEB is suppose to release circular of the time of power which is not followed?

            Who is responsible for this/ Why should residents suffer even when we are regular tax payers?

            Try cutting power for 7 hours one day in Mumbai City
            Myself a resident of adai village ,new panvel has been facing power cut for the past 2days. My child has been suffering from an ongoing viral fever and cannot be medicated properly due to power failure in our area. The residents of adai have already given several complaints to the MSEB dept stationed at Panvel, whenever bad weather comes , but no reponse from anyone until someone really takes the pain by travelling to their office & asking for a line man to come and look at the pathetic situation.I dont understand why are we paying electricity bills when MSEB cant provide a proper service ?.Why dont MSEB employ some line man who can work around these areas and report if there is a power cut to his superiors, so that people could be further deployed for rectifying the problem. We have got children who are small and needs some times to be nabilized with the help of power and cannot expect them to be admitted just because there is no power.I request MSEB engineers sitting in the office at Panvel to have a visit or have a site inspection on the area affected. If the problem still persists then the residents of adai will go once step ahead for the higher level to ensure this power cut issue gets resolved completely.We cannot afford to have like this everytime, therefore kindly do the needful.

            Our Company Alfa Facade Systems Pvt. Ltd. is located in Pune, Kondhwa Budruk. We are facing a major problems fo Power Cuts without any prior information. Due to this power cuts we are facing major problems. Our Computers Mother Board have gone corrupted and also we have lost all the data despite having the backup.
            As the Rainy season have started, there are more power failures due to some wire disruption or some other faults at the MSEB end. When we complain they say that there is a shortage of line man and other jazz they provide. Is Pune is a small village where they cannot deploy more people or more advance techniques to solve this issues or rather they want the under the table money so that they give the service fast to those who do that. I would request to the official sitting in the office at Kondhwa Pune to resolve this issues or else we have to go one step ahead in order to stream line the process as our systems are getting affected and not theirs. Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

              I have to advise that I am residing in Indra Uma Apartments, 27, Corporation Colony, North Ambazari Road, Nagpur-33. Our apartments have 44 flats. On scrutiny of monthly electricity bills of all the apartment owners, it has come to my notice that some owners who are using hefty electricity are getting monthly bills for meagre amounts while consumers like me, whose house is closed between 9.30 am to 6.30 pm daily due to both o[censored]s being serving couple, are getting hefty electricity bills. I, therefore, have good ground to suspect that some persons are indulging in power thefts and as such are getting very meagre electricity bills, MSEB authorities are therefore requested to depute their vigilance staff to the above site to detect any power theft.

              since November, and i been observing that people over don't pay electricity bill cause they don't have meter, and if any one has its faulty and this know by all your's officials but they don't do anything . if there is a complaint people go to some middle man, and they explain us that if there is no bill then its nice your's are saving your's money,
              officials has a good contacts with builders, if we gonna buy a flat, the builders assure us that at least for 2 years u don't have to pay bills, i was surprised that when i asked a shopkeeper about Mseb office to pay bill his answer was he never paid bill he never received a bill, he don't have a meter, he never saw how the bill is, don't u think its really strange to hear form a shopkeeper, where the electricity is used day and night and he also had laundry there he iron cloths, so u can just think how much he might be consuming energy, so please sir do the needful so that every one get benefit of that because your's collection is low in this area that the reason we are been suffering from lots of load shedding about 5.30 hrs daily, it is very simple people living in this area are from middle class working group if yours officials will take responsibility they can easily, can go and change meters, and yours energy which is been stolen can be stop, as per my belief yours collection will rise and you can even think of decreasing the load shedding

              MSEB — Power theft by MSEB employee

              Sunil Nage who is an MSEB Employee has been caught red handed for power theft at his own house where he has not paid bills for a very long time and he is conveniently stealing power from MSEB lines for his residential purpose. The same officer has also been suspended for 6 months for demanding bribe from customers. Incidentally Sunil Nage has still not stopped harassing people by demanding favours and also stealing energy and not paying up his dues to the company. He is posted in New Mumbai region near to Rabale. Request the officials to highlight this issue and take strict action against corrupt officials and put an end to this misery.

              I am a resident of evershine city Vasai. I have a 2bhk flat and from past 4 months we have been reciving astronomical Bills. In the months of June 09 we recieved a bill of 14990 and the following month the bill was 10000, we have previously faced the same problem few years ago and aftar changing the meter the problem was fixed for sometime but again now we facing the same problem. I called up my electrician and he checked all the wires and said that the wires have been altered and someone is been stealing electricity. I am sick of this cheap beahaviour and i want to take highest level of legal action againt the culprits. I am hoping to get some useful response from here.

              In village areas whole villagers takes illegal power connection from the tower in night time and with help of local elecrticians they sets their meter billing also.There is one example i have seen from the village moghan near aarvi in dhule district of maharashtra.The house owner who has his own borewell in his farm and he has all elecrtical appliances at his home eg. TV, washing machine, fridge, inverter, pumps on well in his farm and whole village is using borewell water from his farm and the meter holder is paying 150 Rs only to MSEB. IS THERE ANY STAND BY MSEB TO CATCH THE THIEVES OR TO STOP IT COMPLETELY
              I totally agreed to above email posted by pari.It very unfortunate that such kind of cases are there in village areas and all villagers are taking advantage of theft electricity this bad habit is the degradation mark of our nation.

                hi this praveen naik working in mseb as billdistributor in dombivali for more than 5years and we were receiving our payment on time bu,t form last year june month we are not receving our payment on time. we are getting our salary of june in the month of september and process of payment is going like that only .we approach all impotant personfrom executive,jr executive ,dy executive and many more person but they are not bother about our problem. now we have to receive our salary for the month of october of last year 2011 and they have had not given us payment for last 45 days,they telling there shortage of fund. so please take necessary against them or we will forced to stop the work of bill distribution. so please do something in our favour

                  MSEDCL formerly known as MSEB has been sending incorrect bill. Giving complaints and receiving acknowledgement on MSEDCL taking action. But the following month the same bill of more than ten thousands of rupees. I being retired 74 years old man has been harassed. They come and cut the connection and put me in dark. Can someone help me please. I am troubled. Its sad living of senior citizen.

                    aurangabad electrical ltd — poor parts quality

                    We have Luara , total mileage till date 1400000 kms (approx)
                    The parts all related to Clutch, vacuum pump , booster , and other major parts require replacement

                      I was shocked to know that Bill for the month of April 2012 is about Rs.19760.00 The bill shows that current reading as 4758 and is in-correct. Immediately I checked my meter and it is running at 3061 as of today (26th April 2012) . so, the number o[censored]nits consumed from past bill is 330 Units [protected] = 330 ) .

                      Please find attached the document which shows the current bill of April 2012 and the current meter reading (as on 26th April 2012). the current reading is 3061 as against 4758 mentioned in the bill.

                      Moreover, I am having 6 nos CFL lights, 2 fans, 1 refrigerator, 1 washing machine and 1 water heater only. Please ask your employee to visit and re-check the current reading and correct the bill accordingly.

                      I have received original electricity bill for the month of april 2012. Surprised to see that the electricity meter photograph printed on the bill is of not myne. It is having different consumer number belongs to some other flat. it resulted heavy billing on me.

This time again they have send me another additional security deposit bill of Rs 1300.                         Our electricity supply was cut even though our bill was paid and thus resulting in large losses (in our refrigerator we had stored chicken, milk and other stuff) , we were out out of town for a week. all our bills were paid till 21 march 2011 receipt no. 036612. we were not informed about cutting our electricity what do they take our phone nos for???

                          I Nalini Chandresh Shah my customer id[protected] Residing at :-Jai Ganesh Vishwa Flat 426 Sno 46 Vistrantwadi Dhanori road pune411015. Last bill paid for RS 580 in the month of oct 2011after that we have not received any bills and on 17 March2012 we have received a notice from MSEB stating the electricity will be disconnected and along with a bill of Rs 2940 and the reading is not clearly showing and we have not received any bill after oct 2011 so i request the MSEB kindly take the reading on monthly basis and provide us the bill .

                            Dear Sir,
                            I Kishor D. Mane consumer number[protected] would like to know the explanation for my excess billing since last six months. I have notice that I am getting fix unit charges that is 264 from October 2011 till January 2011 due to faulty meter reading.
                            I have paid my each electricity bill payment on time. Last January 2012 month I got bill which was RS 5180 for the same unit 264 I have made the full payment and even request for the new meter. I have made the payment for my each payment apart from that I have been asked to make the payment for the additional payment. They told me that once your new meter reading is taken then the amount which you have paid will be adjusted.
                            Today I have received the bill along with the notice that if I have not paid you will cut the connection. I am unable to understand what going on with my electricity bill. I have paid RS 10910 to MSEB for last four month more than RS 2500 for a month for 264 (faulty meter)

                            I hope this is mistake and faulty meter issue. I do accept that I haven’t checked my meter reading my society has many customers with the same issue. I was expecting the extra paid amount will be adjusted in this bill but this bill come with notice. Please assist me the proper way so that I can understand your billing system.

                            I have visited Nedrul office to ask where i can meet the accountant Mr. Gaikwad for my billing details the person was stating next said that the "Gaikwad ka tranfer huwa hain" the office lady staff start giggling after hearing his answer. Then I come to know that the person who replied me is Mr. Gaikwad. I think they not concern for the consumer issue but they make fun o[censored]s.

                              My consumer No for MSEB is[protected] and meter no is [protected]. I am single and leave for office at 7.30 in morning and electricity usage is hardly for 6 hours during night that of light and fan. Other than that no other electrical appliance i use. My bill last month was approx. Rs.250/- and current bill is Rs.8000/- which is 30-35 times higher. I am sure that usage cannot be more as I stay alone at home. I request you to sort out the matter at the earliest as I cannot afford to pay such a huge amount.

                                load shedding

                                I am living in virar. I would like to enlighten the topic of load shedding which is happening in virar at frequent basis. The timings written on the notice board of MSEB office at virar for load shedding is as follows:

                                Mon & Fri- 7.ooam to 9.30am

                                Tue & Sat- 8.30am to 10.45am

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                I would like to register complaints against MSEB (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd) for sloppy behaviour toward consumer.

                                My bill was pending due to some personal reason for three months (Dec. to Feb.) and right after first intimation we cleared our dues on 16th March 2012 through VISA bill pay. Payment details are mentioned below.

                                Payment Amount (Rs Ps): 2650.00
                                Total Amount debited to your card (Rs Ps): 2650.00
                                Payment Date: 16th March 2012
                                Transaction Identification Number:[protected]

                                During these 15 days electricity guys came thrice to cut our electricity supply and convey the same to them. On MSCB site also our outstanding amount is showing nil still today they cut off our power supply which is the height of the irresponsibility and sloppy behaviour towards work.
                                Without any notification to us and without cross checking any records they just turn off our power today (30th march 2012).

                                When I called up MSEB office (Thane, Kalwa -Kharegon) to register compliant we received vague answers like your bill is pending from last six months or there must be problem in your meter box and so on but was not ready to tell that they had cut off our electricity supply which is highly regretted.

                                  thats the reason, your bill will not received to me in proper time.and this impact to delay in payment. Consequently I bears the penalty unnecessoryly.

                                  I lodged the complaint severl times but there is no response from MHEDCL side. the officer and employee beheaves rude with us (Consumers)

                                    I have bought a Flat No 302, Plot No 102, Sector -19, M/s Bilandrai Co-op Housing Society Ltd, Kharghar - 410210 and moved to live there at the end of 2011.

                                    The electricity meter is still in the name of Builder. I have requested him to change the meter to my name. Until now he has not taken any action.

                                    The Electricity Meter No is[protected] in Kharghar with code 4795.

                                    The Electricity meter is not working and I have informed the Helpline about the same. My enquiry No while notifying about the non-functional electricity meter is [protected].

                                      Hi,
                                      My Bill for period 15-Feb-2012 to 15-Mar-2012 is attached herewith this email.
                                      I am not using electricity as most of the times I don’t stay at the flat. So obviously the bill should not be the one I got that is Rs. 410.
                                      Also you can see in the bill that there is no usage of electricity since current and previous reading is the same and it’s highlighted in red colored rectangle in the attached file.

                                      Please clarify whether this is the mistake by you and whether I should pay bill or you will give the corrected bill for this month?
